Chapter 8

Hiki: Good morning master, how do you feel?

Chazz: I feel better, actually much better than yesterday.

Hiki: Yay why don’t we go wake up Jenny.

Chazz: No let’s go train a bit in back before everyone wakes up.

Hiki: Ok fine then!

Chazz: (Goes outside to train with Hiki and Tori.  After an hour Hiki walking to Jennifer’s room finding her meditating on her bed).

Hiki: Good morning, Jenny.

Jennifer: (Opens her eyes that glow green).  Good morning Hiki have a pleasant sleep?

Hiki: Why are your eyes green?

Jennifer: What?  Oh, just getting a bit more energy.  (Lifts her arm showing the plants wrapped around her).

Hiki: Huh alright then?

Jennifer: Yes, but I am surprised I woke up before you got here.

Hiki: Well, we were outside before.

Jennifer: So, Chazz is doing better?

Hiki: Yes, he is training outside with Tori.

Jennifer: Hmm I do not think I have ever seen him train.  He is very skilled.

Hiki: Yes, because that is how he is really.

Jennifer: I have a lot to learn if I am ever going to be as strong.

Hiki: You will learn in time milady.

Jennifer: So, what is that plan for this morning?  I do want to train as well but let’s just start with the morning routine.

Hiki: Yes milady.

Jennifer: (Stands up plants going back to normal as same with her eyes).  I think I will go check on the training that Chazz is doing.  Maybe it will give me a idea on how to improve any tips on it?

Hiki: Just to practice, the more you try to fight alongside your spirit.  You learn more about them and what type of attacks that are in more of your style.

Jennifer: Thank you.

Shizen: As soon as you can pass a barrier you may learn more.

Hiki: There you go, need to have a starting point.

Jennifer: (Sighs).  I suppose.

Shizen: Now get dressed and ready, I can wait.

Hiki: I will tell master also I put a barrier on your door so…. Have fun.

Jennifer: Hiki!  Oh wait!  (Runs to the window but Shizen blocks it as she laughs).

Shizen: Sorry child.

Hiki: You need to learn, don’t worry this is my weakest barrier but tougher than Tori’s since I am support.

Jennifer: (Glares at Hiki).  Not nice!

Shizen: If you knew how you could make a barrier of your own to cancel out Hiki’s.

Hiki: Yes, either or would be training and it would be a great help to you.

Shizen: Well, try number one.

Jennifer: (Rams the barrier getting forced back).

Shizen: And now two, try not using blunt force.

Hiki: Yes, I would recommend that you don’t do that.  It will only make things worse.

Jennifer: Then what should I do?

Shizen: Try making a barrier around you to pass through.

Jennifer: How do I make one?

Shizen: Visualize it.

Hiki: Imagine your energy surrounding you as a shield.

Shizen: You do it with your arrows as you shoot not even noticing it.

Jennifer: Alright I will try.  (Closes her eyes concentrating).

Shizen: Thank you for the barrier, it may help.

Hiki: No problem.  (Leaves to tell Chazz what is happening).

Jennifer: (Glows green ramming into the barrier getting half of her body through but getting stuck by her waist).

Shizen: Not bad now how do you get out.

Jennifer: Come on, I got through halfway is that enough!

Shizen: No, it is not, you must pass through fully.

Jennifer: Fine.  (Pulls herself out of the barrier and back into her room).

Shizen: However long it takes.

Jennifer: (Closes her eyes concentrating again and trying again and again getting through after a hour then running to where Chazz, Hiki, and Tori are looking quite upset).  Hiki!

Hiki: What?

Jennifer: That was cruel!  (Runs full speed into Hiki both falling).  … Oops.

Hiki: Well, it helped you didn’t it.

Jennifer: (Opens her mouth to make a comeback but cannot make one).

Hiki: See so you can’t be mad.

Jennifer: Yes, well still was a dirty trick.  (Crosses her arms and pouts once they get up).

Hiki: (Gives Jennifer a hug).

Jennifer: (Pouts still but hugs back, Shizen making it outside as well).

Shizen: It took her around an hour to get the hang of passing a barrier.

Hiki: Sounds about right, same for Chazz.

Jennifer: Wooh one step closer to defeating Chazz in a spar!

Shizen: This is passing through a barrier, not battle and how long ago did he learn this.

Hiki: 7 years ago, I think it was sometime after coming into the house for the first time.

Jennifer: Aww.  (Pouts a little).

Shizen: In time but you need to also control your emotions better.

Hiki: Yes, since your emotions always affect how much energy output you have too much and it will cause you harm, too little and nothing will work

Jennifer: How am I not in control?

Shizen: When a friend is hurt you get filled with rage.  You need to be calm and collected when that happens or else almost the same exact thing will happen when you were looking for me in your mind.

Hiki: Emotions play a deep part into everything.

Shizen: It does indeed.

Jennifer: How do I control it?

Shizen: Battling in difficult conditions helps to control panic as for handling people who get hurt that are close to you.  You will have to figure out yourself.

Hiki: (Smiles at Jennifer as she shakes her head).

Jennifer: What is it?

Chazz: (He comes into the area and overhears the conversation).  Milady your emotions are usually unstable because of your impulses to feel a certain way and that doesn’t help anything.

Jennifer: Well, who says I cannot control myself.

Shizen: You acted like a cat, yes, I was there.

Everyone besides Jennifer: Yeah….

Jennifer: (Mumbles).  Shut it I can handle myself in a fight.

Shizen: But you are not the strongest one here, but I won’t say who it is.  There is no need for competition.

Chazz: If that may be the case why not allow milady to train with us by sparring.

Shizen: You may, it can be motivation for those who need it.

Chazz: Well, Shizen why don’t you spare with HikiTori also to make things fair

Shizen: I understand, I just do not feel like fighting.

Chazz: True enough.

Shizen: Everyone else can fight.  I will watch plus I think it would be unfair if I did.

Jennifer: What is that suppose to mean.  In fact, I have never seen you fight.

Shizen: I had no need to.

Chazz: Interesting.

Shizen: hmm?

Chazz: Oh nothing, nothing.

Shizen: Spill it young one.

Chazz: I am not sure, but I thought that you fought before but that was before milady connected with you.

Shizen: I did not want her to, and she fought against me and herself.  I just fought her until I thought she was powerful enough.

Chazz: Ahh I see then.

Shizen: She more or less fought herself after that.  I believe you and Hiki helped her do that when she could not hit you.

Hiki: Yes, and Tori of course.

Shizen: My apologies for not including him.

Tori: It’s fine.

Jennifer: Hold it, then what is next?

Shizen: Right, I suppose you should improve bending nature to your will.  You are very good with animals so let’s work on plants and bending them to your will or perhaps battle.

Tori: How about both.

Shizen: Very well, child try wrapping me in a vine trap.

Jennifer: I will try.  (A vine slowly wraps around Shizen).

Shizen: To slow but it’s alright we can try again.  (She instantly vanishes, vines falling and appearing close to where she was before).

Jennifer: Umm how did… Nevermind alright I’ll try….  (Uses her hands to motion vines to grow making them grow faster).

Shizen: Smart thinking but let’s try with only your mind for now.

Jennifer: (Everyone watches as she repeats the same lesson until she improves, each time Shizen disappearing once the vines reach her saying try again).

Shizen: Not bad we can take a break from that lesson but keep practicing.

Jennifer: I will.

Hiki: Yay my turn with master.

Chazz: Tori you can go back for a break.

Tori: Yes master.

Jennifer: Cool, kind of want to watch.

Shizen: Only for a little bit then we must continue training.

Jennifer: Alright.

Chazz: Alright Hiki, let us get started.

Hiki: Yes master, I won’t hold back (changes her appearance into more of a light spirit that is in her first form).

Chazz: really you need to do that?

Hiki: I have to show off.

Chazz: I see then, well if you won’t hold back then neither will I. I hope you are ready for this Hiki!

Shizen: (smirks) nothing wrong with showing off, it is not my style but it can be fun.

Hiki: I wouldn’t want anything less from my master I will do everything I can as well than (pulls out her twin light swords that have a very small hint of darkness in them)

Shizen: I did not say you were not I only assumed you were support since Tori is combat.

Chazz: Hiki is as strong as Tori, but her abilities vary from strength, speed and magic which is why she seems weaker, but she is just as strong.

Hiki: (Charges at Chazz in an instant and he blocks).

Chazz: Oh, oh don’t attack when I am talking Hiki.

Hiki: Sorry master I just don’t want to wait.  I just want to have you all to myself, have all your attention.

Shizen: I see the new spirits are quite impressive, but I have to say I miss the originals.  Time passes and power is passed to another.

Jennifer: I see.

Chazz: (Chazz and Hiki continue to fight in flashes at light speed, Shizen keeping track of their fight as she watches but Jennifer having difficulty).  Tori teaches me in strength while Hiki teaches me in speed.

Hiki: (As she charges).  Master you’re going to make me blush.

Jennifer: Aww blushing while fighting.

Shizen: Don’t distract them, if you’re good maybe I will fight as well but not for long.  I will miss my nap.

Jennifer: Really?

Shizen: We shall see but I will go easy.

Jennifer: Aww no fair.

Chazz: it is fair.

Jennifer: (Pouts).  Aww.

Shizen: Sorry child and focus on your fight if we are distracting, we will move away.

Chazz: No, you are fine just keeping up is fine.  (Charges at Hiki this time).

Shizen: I guess while they are fighting, we can train let’s start with you attacking me.

Jennifer: (Grabs her bow).  Alright so I just attack?

Shizen: Yes, land a hit and we can move on.

Hiki: (Stops sparing with Chazz watching Jennifer and Shizen).

Jennifer: (Draws her bow and lets an arrow fly but Shizen catches it in her mouth).

Shizen: Use a barrier on the arrow.

Jennifer: (Nods drawing her bow again, this time it is glowing green flying faster than before but Shizen catches it in mid air still).  I thought you didn’t like showing off.

Shizen: I am not, if I were I would go all out.

Hiki: I want to play maybe two verses two?

Shizen: Hmm teams, interesting… Alright I do want to see how skilled you really are, and it is good learning experience for the child.

Jennifer: Stop calling me that.

Shizen: No.

Hiki: Yay!  I’m with Jenny then!

Shizen: You want to switch then?

Chazz: No, it is fine.

Shizen: Will this be at full power for you and your master, Tori may join as well if he wishes.

Chazz: No, it is fair without him, sorry Tori.

Tori: Rude.

Hiki: (Smiles).

Shizen: Very well I could use a warmup.  It has been a while since I fought.  I would even say for all three to attack so I do not get rusty; it has been years since I fought.

Jennifer: You sound too confident.

Shizen: Being confident is a good thing.

Hiki: (Powers up again with her blades).

Jennifer: Wait whose team am I on, Shizen’s?

Shizen: You really need to pay attention more.

Hiki: I’m with you Jenny!

Shizen: Very well, Chazz I am on your team.

Jennifer: Oh cool, I think we will make a great team!  Hmm nature and light, may be a good combination.

Chazz: But also, dark and nature.

Shizen: So, you will be using dark only to fight then?

Chazz: Well, I could but I think it make things more exciting if I used darkness.

Shizen: Very well I will give half of my energy to the child.  That should be more than enough for now.

Jennifer: Only?

Shizen: You are not at the level to handle it.  I gave half just in case you surprise me and to level the playing field.

Chazz: Fair enough, alright then can I show off as well?

Shizen: Go ahead, I am trying to remember the original darkness a light spirits fights.  It has been a while but let’s see how similar it is.

Chazz: Alright Tori let’s go!  (He begins by pulling out a great sword that is covered in darkness).

Jennifer: Shizen!  (She turns green again readying her bow Shizen watching them closely).

Shizen: Only form one?  I thought everyone was passed the warmup.

Chazz: Meh save the fun for later.

Shizen: Very well.

Chazz: Milady, excuse my attacks.  (Rushes at Jennifer).

Jennifer: (Fires her bow repeatedly as Chazz charges and jumps back to get some distance).  No problem at all just do not hold back or else what would be the point in training.

Chazz: (Block the shots and runs faster).

Jennifer: (Rushes forward bow in her hand as she swings at Chazz).

Chazz: Madam pay attention.  (Swings his great sword with increased strength at Jennifer).

Jennifer: What gah!  (Blocks but is pushed back stumbling a little but quickly readies her bow to shoot).

Chazz: (Already is in front of Jennifer ready to strike again).

Jennifer: (Shoots an arrow hitting Chazz’s sword back and sweep kicks his leg loading a arrow in the bow as she kicks).

Chazz: (Flashes away and charges with the great sword splitting into two swords).

Jennifer: (Shoots more arrows that now glow green as she fires them, Chazz blocking as he charges jumping away to try to keep her distance).

Chazz: (Continues to charge as he picks up speed).

Jennifer: (Tries to keep up but Chazz slowly catches up as she loads one more arrow and hits the hilt of one of the swords).

Chazz: (Continues to charge minus the slight pain).

Jennifer: (Uses the bow as a staff and stops running ready to block).

Chazz: (Charges and strikes more and more to not leave a opening for her).

Jennifer: (Gets pushed back almost backed into a wall gritting her teeth as she blocks trying to keep up).

Chazz: (Strikes once more and pushes Jennifer to the floor).

Jennifer: (Blocks but is forced to her knees as she tries to push back dropping her head so Chazz can’t see her emotions).

Chazz: (Stops the force and stand up).  Milady we are done here, no need to push further.  No one needs to get hurt.

Jennifer: Do not back an animal into a corner….  (Uses her bow to swing moving faster than before).

Chazz: (Blocks swiftly).  Oh, oh I said we are done here.

Jennifer: I won’t lose!

Chazz: Oh, oh what am I going to do with you?

Jennifer: If we are stopping it’s a tie.

Chazz: I am alright with that.  It was only practice.

Jennifer: Fine.

Chazz: There we go then.

Jennifer: I wonder how Hiki’s doing with Shizen.

Chazz: She seems to be doing fine.

Jennifer: (Walks back with Chazz).  Hi… Wait were you not going to fight as well?

Shizen: I suppose but you were entertaining to watch.

Hiki: (Nods in agreement).

Shizen: We do not have to fight.  I will try holding back but I never have been good at it.

Jennifer: Well maybe we can see all of your power one day, I am interested.

Shizen: Even so I am not as fast as I used to be.  Plus, I want to see how skilled the newer spirits are.

Hiki: (Simply smiles).

Shizen: Very well.  (Watches Hiki carefully).

Hiki: (Goes around Shizen vines coming up behind her as she goes around.  She picks up the pace but vines pop out from in front of her as she cuts them, but they grow back almost instantly as she decided to run close to Shizen).

Shizen: (Ready herself a big grin on her face as if having fun as Hiki strikes she rams into the blade glowing green where it hits).

Hiki: (Her sword disappears into light).

Shizen: (Jumps back circling like a pack of wolves around prey).

Hiki: (Circles as well).

Shizen: (Glows green fully).

Hiki: (Glows with pure light).

Shizen: (Grins).  After you.

Hiki: no older first.

Shizen: (Smirks).  So, calling me old, now I feel insulted.

Hiki: I have to get you into it now, don’t I?

Shizen: I suppose.  (Pounces forward quickly Hiki charges as well, Shizen using barrier and teeth to attack and block acting more wolf like then her usual calmness.  As Hiki strikes Shizen grabs the sword in her jaw stopping it and not letting go.  Hiki trying to step away, but Shizen keeps hold of the blade).

Hiki: (Suddenly disappears).

Shizen: Don’t touch the ground if you’re using light speed young one.  (Sits down, a barrier glowing around Shizen).

Hiki: Who said I was on the ground.

Shizen: I never did….  (Stands as vines wrapping around herself covering her fully then growing into a large tree around her as she is no longer to be seen).

Hiki: Hmm interesting.

Shizen: (Her power increases shooting up from the tree as it splits open.  She is not there once the green light fades as Hiki watches then the same green light comes down again revealing a woman looking to be in her early forty wearing a green dress covered in different plants as she crossed her arms smiling).  Now that is showing off.

Hiki: A bit.

Shizen: Now are we done fighting, or should we continue, though I am afraid we will destroy the place if we do.

Hiki: True we might.

Shizen: That was not a yes or no.  I kind of regret going into this form, it is a bit unfair.

Hiki: (Begins to cover her swords in a light of strength for her).

Hiki: Is it fair now?

Shizen: We shall see.

Jennifer: Their fight is cooler than ours was.

Shizen: You have not been alive to have hundreds or thousands of years to practice.  In fact, I would even but fine with Tori joining in, he is missing out.

Hiki: Hmm but I don’t wish for damaged property if Tori is included as well.

Jennifer: We could go further away, or I can pay for damages.

Chazz: No, no I do not want to explain why to your parents or the others plus everyone should be getting up soon.

Shizen: I suppose so save it for another day.  Thank you for the work out, I have gotten rusty.  (Pulls back her hood revealing long grey hair).

Tori: Master may I give a suggestion?  Since I do feel like fighting as well, I could fight for a bit as I’m sure we aren’t near level as Shizen just yet, but I feel that we will be able to put up a good fight.

Chazz: Oh, do you wish to fight then Tori?

Tori: Yes, excuse my selfishness but I am fired up.

Shizen: Now were talking.  (Stretches a little but pauses when stretching her back).  Back pains are hassle, do me a favor and stay young.

Jennifer: Wow Tori, I’m impressed you spoke up.

Tori: I cannot let Hiki have all the fun.  Especially since I sparred yes with master but not fully so I’m excited.

Shizen: Very well, shall we?  I am interested to test your strength together.

Tori: (Begins to look like Hiki but instead of the light surrounding him it is darkness pulling out a dark katana sword).

Shizen: (Readies herself).  Let the dance begin.

Tori: Yes, let’s begin.

Shizen: (Waits for an attack).  After you.

Hiki: Age before beauty.

Shizen: Very well.  (The ground shakes a bit then large roots sprout up all around Hiki and Tori both of them jumping up).  Child pay attention, though your archery skills are impressive I want you to take notes.  (Motions the pulling back of a bow though none is there but suddenly a bow appears made of power glowing green loaded with 2 arrows at once and fires arrows going separate ways looking like it would miss completely but then turns going on both sides of Hiki and Tori).

Hiki: (Makes a big barrier to deflect the arrows while Tori charges in at Shizen with his katana).

Shizen: (Her bow changes into two short swords, blocking while she watches both Hiki and Tori’s movements with interest as Tori slashes.  One of her hands jolt back in a little pain as she jumps back rubbing her wrist).  hmm.

Hiki: (Comes around Tori and strikes with the two swords she has and hits her directly).

Shizen: (Blocks with one arm the other arm but gets hit as she grits her teeth in a little pain but stands her ground fighting back the other arm limp).

Hiki and Tori: (Both slash at increased speed).

Shizen: (Her other arm freezes in pain but runs back before it gets slashed as well, it is clear she is holding back greatly).  Not bad, I must admit you have backed me into a corner.  (Arm stiffens again but she tries to stretch it out).  I swear every time had not, I taken physical form my body just has to stiffen.

Tori: (His sword begins to break into little pieces as they all reconstruct into shadows swords).

Shizen: Let us continue then.  (Vines wrap around the injured arm and she readies herself, blades disappearing and a barrier forming to her figure).

Chazz: (Explains to Jennifer as Hiki and Tori’s abilities are used).  Shadow blades are blades that can form in any darkness source even a shadow or shade from a hood.

Hiki and Tori: (Looks for Shizen’s presence and Hiki finds her).

Shizen: You are very good at working together.  (The barrier grows stronger).  Give me your best shot, strike together on this.

Hiki and Tori: Yes.

Shizen: (Narrows her eyes).  Hmm then what is your plan.  (Gets ready to block).

Hiki: You’ll see.  (Charges at Shizen, Tori doing the same).

Shizen: (Follows their movements vines and roots blocking each attack then gets idea making a root cover everyone in shadow).  Let us see how strong you can be in your element.

Tori: Well, you see, I already won.  (A blade touches Shizen uncovered back).

Shizen: Oh, I already have back pain; you wouldn’t hurt a harmless old woman, would you?  (Makes a sly smile as vines travel up both Hiki and Tori’s legs but it still is slightly a feeling she is holding back greatly but that is hard to confirm).

Tori: No, I wouldn’t but I would do this instead actually.  (Blade strikes her and disabling her energy).

Shizen: (Goes back to wolf form instantly going down too easily for how confident she was).  Impressive you blocked my second form.  If only I were just a little faster and stronger like years ago… But times change and new spirits rise to take the place of the old.

Tori: Yes, we are done now.  The goal was to stop the flow of the fight which had happened.  When I had sealed away your energy, so the match is over.  (Puts his sword away).

Shizen: Very well, let us rest for a bit.  I learned what I needed to.

Hiki and Tori: So, have we.

Shizen: Really, what did you learn from this?

Hiki: It wouldn’t be nice to tell you now, would it?

Shizen: As you wish.  (Lags behind as they walk as she shrinks a little from the energy being blocked).  Well looks like I am blocked of power, you are quite skilled with seals I am impressed.

Tori: Yeah, I hit your energy source, so you won’t be using it at least for a while.

Shizen: To bad that’s what keeps me looking and feeling so young.  (Grins with a small laugh).

Hiki: You can still return to your master though.

Shizen: (Lays down).  I suppose I will be back when my strength returns.  It has been a while since I have been out in this world for so long.  My body is still adjusting to it from when the seal on child was undone.

Tori: Well, it was only a temporally seal so it should be back within an hour or so.

Shizen: (Smirks).  I appreciate it and perhaps my time will be up but that is the unknown.  I remember the first light and dark spirits; they would be proud of you two.

Tori: (He looks at Jennifer with a serious tone as Shizen says this).  Jenny, do you want to change out spirits?  You can but how do you feel about that?

Jennifer: Change out spirits?

Tori: When a spirit believes that its time is up you can have a new spirit to take their place.  Not much would change energy wise, weapons maybe, I am not sure but when you do this the original spirit returns to their home realm.

Shizen: Well, why do you think I chose the child.  I knew she would possibly be my last master from the start for these types of outings into this world and tested her to make sure.

Jennifer: (Looks even more confused).  Huh?

Chazz: Well, it is up to her.  No one else can change that.

Jennifer: Why would I, I would never get rid of Shizen.

Chazz: Well, there we go, Shizen how do you feel on that?

Shizen: I knew she would not.  That is one reason why I chose her for my power.

Chazz: Then that is settled.

Shizen: I have never found a human that could handle my power so well.  I want the right one to learn and I think this is her.

Chazz: May I suggest another spirit but a different element.

Jennifer: What do you mean?

Chazz: To lessen the stress on Shizen and her powers you could have a second spirit but a different element that goes with nature or perhaps another with nature.

Shizen: I can handle myself fine with just Shizen.

Jennifer: As you wish.

Shizen: I will teach all I can for now and Hiki, Tori, I thank you for the fight it made me feel young again.

Hiki and Tori: Anytime, sorry we had to rush a little bit.

Shizen: I understand, you two remind me a lot of the first light and dark spirits.  They were brilliant.

Hiki: Do you mind telling us stories later?

Shizen: Perhaps after you are done training.  I will give you time to rest.

Hiki: Alright.

Shizen: I will see you afterwards.  (Fades away as Hiki and Tori smile at her).

Jennifer: You seem happy.

Tori: I am now.

Jennifer: (Smiles as well).  Why is that?

Tori: I had to let loose a bit.

Jennifer: I am glad you had fun, but I will have to get you back for hurting my spirit.

Tori: Well, I will be waiting then.

Jennifer: I will hold you to it, Chazz are you feeling alright did they take a lot out of you?

Chazz: No, I feel fine.  They used their own energy when they fought, only some of mine.

Jennifer: Oh good.

Hiki: (Gives Chazz a hug).

Tori: (Pats Chazz on the back).  Come on master, let’s go another round.

Chazz: Yes, yes Tori.

Hiki: I want to join two!

Jennifer: Very well, I might as well work on my aim.  I have targets out here I will bring them out.  (Grabs her bow and goes to bring out the targets).

Chazz: Alright.  (Starts to spar with Hiki and Tori as Jennifer fires at the targets as animals start to watch until Hiki notices that everyone is waking up).  Milady people are starting to wake.

Jennifer: Right, let us go inside then so were not caught.

Chazz, Hiki and Tori: Yes milady.  (Heads inside with Jennifer).

Hiki: (Decides to go back into her sword form in order to rest as Tori stays out).

Jennifer: That was fun, it feels good to let loose.

Tori: (Stretches his arms out).  It really does.

Jennifer: I have to say it does make you open up more.  You are usually quiet, well from what I have seen.

Tori: Well because I don’t usually have anything to say, now I do.

Jennifer: Well, it is good to hear from you.

Tori: Also, I want to check in on lady Kairi.

Jennifer: Very well she should be up by now.

Tori: Yes madam.  (Heads to Kairi’s room with Jennifer).

Chazz: I will get breakfast ready as you are doing that so I will see you two later.  (Heads off into a different direction).

Jennifer: Tori are you sticking around?

Tori: Of course.

Jennifer: I am glad you are in a good mood.

Tori: I usually am, it sounds like you believe I am not.

Jennifer: I never know.

Tori: Very well.

Jennifer: But I can tell now that I know you better.

Tori: Yes madam.

Jennifer: (Arrives at Kairi’s door).  After you.

Tori: No, I want to surprise her.

Jennifer: Surprise her?

Tori: Just call her out and say someone is here to see her.

Jennifer: Very well….  (Knocks though she still is very confused).  Sis it is time to wake up.  I have someone here who wants to see you.

Kairi: Oh, who is it?  (Runs over to the door opening it).  Yay Tori!  (Hug tackles Tori as Jennifer laughs).

Tori: I am happy to see you too.

Jennifer: I see why you said for me to knock.

Kairi: (Smiles happily and continues the hug).  Yay!

Tori: Well, it is nice to surprise people sometimes, so it is ok.

Kairi: So, what is going on?

Jennifer: Nothing too eventful.

Tori: I wanted to see how you are doing.

Kairi: (Smiles brightly at Tori).  Good, how are you?

Jennifer: (Looks at Tori and Kairi with a questioning stare).

Tori: Same old, same old how is the weak dark spirit?

Kairi: (Winces and rubs her head).  He’s upset now and Kura is reading a book.

Tori: (Laughs).

Jennifer: (Glares at Tori when a thought comes into her mind).  We are talking later.

Kairi: About what?

Jennifer: Nothing, do not worry about it.

Tori: Well, I am happy you are doing well.  Did you figure out your weapons yet?

Kairi: Yes, there are two daggers oh but one can turn into throwing knife thingies.

Tori: Good and might I add you look rather pretty in the morning.

Jennifer: (Glares at Tori with a death stare this time).

Kairi: (Blushes).  Oh, um well thank you.

Tori: Anytime milady.

Kairi: Well, what are we doing today?

Tori: I am not sure, but I must head back to Chazz so goodbye to you two.

Jennifer: We are having a chat when I get back.

Kairi: (Looks at Jennifer confused).  Huh?

Tori: No, no you can chat.  (Turns around and starts to leave).

Jennifer: Very well….

Kairi: (Hugs Jennifer).  So how are you?

Jennifer: Oh, now I get a hug?

Kairi: Oh sorry.

Tori: (Laughs as he walks down the hall making it to Chazz and then help him with breakfast).

Jennifer: (Gets ready for the day with Kairi as they sing and act goofy, laughing as they get ready then heading down to breakfast).

Jennifer: So, Kairi are you getting along with your spirits?

Kairi: Kura is nice but she does not talk much but she likes to read and Yami gets angry a lot but I give him hugs and then he stays quiet.

Jennifer: I see.

Yami: (Appears, looking rather angry).  I’m not angry!

Jennifer: You are yelling right now.

Yami: (Opens his mouth to make a comeback but cannot).

Jennifer: See.

Kairi: (Laughs and gives Yami a hug).

Yami: No get away.  I keep saying no hugs!

Jennifer: Let’s go eat, if you are going to stick around Yami you will have to act like a servant.

Yami: As if.

Kairi: Or I can give you another hug.

Yami: … Yeah whatever, I’ll be quiet.

Tori: (Walks back meeting Jennifer, Kairi and Yami).  Hello, their Yami, how you doing?

Jennifer: Or you can go back in her mind.

Yami: Rather that then a lowly servant.

Tori: But Yami I thought you wanted to fight.

Yami: Hey I’m going to pay you back for the weakest comment!

Tori: You have yet to prove me wrong young one.

Yami: (Pauses as if caught in a slight lie).  Young one?  You don’t look old yourself, who are you to talk?

Tori: What generation are you?

Yami: (Mumbles).  Late 4th, few hundred what’s it to you?

Tori: Well, I am third generation darkness.

Yami: … You look 4th.

Tori: I was on the verge of the 3rd generation ending so I look younger than I should.

Yami: Whatever, doesn’t change anything.

Tori: I had met the first-generation darkness spirit he had taught me everything I know now.

Shizen: (Appears beside Tori) really So you had known him, oh I remember that’s right you were one of his last students.

Tori: Yes, Miss Shizen he was the one that taught me the darkness blades.

Shizen: (Laughs).  No wonder I lost, he and the light spirit were one of the only ones who could beat me with no problem though I try to avoid fire.

Tori: Yes, he had told me some things if I were paired with a light spirit so I taught Hiki some light magic and combat things.

Shizen: Now I know why you are so powerful.  Were you his last student?  If so he must have added his power to what you had or perhaps you were a human and became a spirit as a child.

Tori: No, no I was a spirit and yes, he basically made me as strong as a 1st or 2nd generation darkness.

Shizen: Of course, as his last student you should be almost as strong as him.  It is like I fought him like the good old days.

Tori: … Well, I must be off now.

Shizen: Yes, very well.

Jennifer: So long.

Kairi: (Hugs Tori before he leaves).  Bye!

Shizen: I will go back then; I need to regain some of my power.

Yami: I think I will go back too oh and Tori.  (Throws a knife at Tori).  That’s for the weakest comment!

Tori: (As his back is turned leaving, he catches and throws the knife back so fast that it makes a boom sound as it flies at Yami).  You have to do better than that.

Yami: Gah!  (Ducks just in time but then tries to act like it was not big deal).  I mean whatever, not bad.

Kairi: No bad Yami!  (Tackles Yami in a Hug).

Yami: Gah get away!

Tori: Bye, bye now.  (Vanishes).

Yami: I’m going now.  (Disappears mid hug both Jennifer and Kairi laughing).

Chazz: (Walks by Jennifer and Kairi).  My, my now what is going on.

Jennifer: It is… Slightly eventful.

Chazz: Tori did something didn’t he?

Kairi: Well Tori stopped bye and we all talked about our day and then Yami came out and threw a knife at Tori because Tori called him weak and Shizen and Tori talked too.

Chazz: Oh, oh sounds like I missed quite a story.

Jennifer: (Gets a sly smile with a small laugh).  Yes, Tori really showed Yami who is strongest.

Kairi: (Winces a little as Yami yells in her head).

Chazz: Well, that is why I rely on him for training and Hiki treats him like a brother.

Jennifer: I see, Shizen was impressed by him being taught by the first darkness spirit and that he and the light one were always able to win against her.

Chazz: That is why those two are a team.  Alone they are strong but together they can so anything.  I am proud to have them as my spirits.

Hiki: (Appears with tears in her eyes).  Oh master… That was so sweet.  (Hugs Chazz).

Jennifer and Kairi: Daw so sweet.

Chazz: My, my Hiki you seem you are such a sweet girl on the inside aren’t you.

Hiki: (Blushes quite a lot).  Chazz….  (Vanishes once she hugs Chazz again).

Chazz: Well, that was sudden.  It is nice to have a hug from her though.  Well let’s get going; shall we maladies.  (Holds out his arms for Jennifer and Kairi to take)?

Jennifer: (Kairi and her each take an arm as Jennifer blushes a little as they walk to the dining room).

Kairi: Thank you Chazzy.

Chazz: Anytime madam.

Kairi: What is for breakfast?

Chazz: Waffles.

Jennifer: oh yum.

Chazz: Yes, it should be quite good.

Jennifer: Will you Hiki and Tori be joining?

Chazz: No, no we have eaten before we practiced this morning.

Jennifer: You wake up to early.

Kairi: Can spirits eat?

Chazz: Well, it is my job milady and they do eat.

Kairi: Alright good, there is so many good things to eat out there.

Jennifer: You have my permission to wake up later.

Chazz: No, it is fine.  I have grown used to it also Madam Kairi how was your time with Tori?

Kairi: He is nice, he is good at teaching and said I was pretty.

Jennifer: (Her hand tightens at Kairi’s last comment on Chazz).

Chazz: (Notices Jennifer’s hold tighten).  He did, how did that make you feel?

Kairi: He is good at compliments; he also looked happy which made me happy.

Chazz: Anything else, also Tori is asleep right now so you can tell me anything.

Jennifer: (Her hold on Chazz tightens).  Let us talk no more of that.  Chazz how are you?

Chazz: No, no milady a girl must speak her mind.

Kairi: (Thinks to herself not really knowing the answer herself).  I do not know; he is just really nice.

Chazz: Then there we have it.

Kairi: (Hums to herself happily as they arrive at the dining hall).

Jennifer: Thank you for escorting us here.  (Bows to Chazz Kairi doing the same).

Chazz: Anytime maladies.

Jennifer: (Both Kairi and her sit with the other nobles as breakfast begins as Chazz stands in the back.  As they eat, they politely talk to their guests as Kairi continues daydream Chazz watching all the nobles carefully.  As breakfast comes to a close Jennifer asks a servant for a new glass of juice even though the glass is full a maid bringing back a new glass.  As they finish breakfast both Jennifer and Kairi leave after they bow Chazz following behind).

Chazz: Maladies we must head into town today.

Jennifer: What do we need?

Kairi: Can I go?

Chazz: yes, you may madam and we need to get some things.

Jennifer: What do we need?

Chazz: Something for lady Kairi.

Kairi: Ooh what is it, tell me.

Chazz: You will find out milady.

Kairi: (Pouts).  Aww.

Jennifer: Very well.

Chazz: I will be waiting by the door.

Kairi: Alright yay presents!  (She runs to her room to grab a few things as Jennifer follows Chazz).

Chazz: (Talks to Jennifer once they are alone).  In truth I have heard rumors of various fires happening in town.

Jennifer: … I see… then why are we taking Kairi?

Chazz: So, you can keep her busy while I am fighting, also to protect you.

Jennifer: I see if it is the fire or lighting element, I am not very helpful in a fight but if poison is there as well, I can help with that.

Chazz: I am aware.

Jennifer: I want to help though.

Chazz: You will be in danger.  I cannot have you do that.

Jennifer: But I cannot leave you in danger, yes Hiki and Tori are incredibly strong, but I want to protect you as well.

Chazz: You are protecting me by not fighting.

Jennifer: Still… I have a bad feeling.

Chazz: I know I do too, but I cannot allow this person to keep doing what they are doing.

Jennifer: Neither can I.

Chazz: I know but if we both fight it would cost us our lives.  A butler can be replaced but not a madam or a sister to lady Kairi.

Jennifer: You are wrong, you cannot be replaced there’s only one Chazz and no one can do as good a job as you plus you would be missed by so many, especially Hiki and Tori.  (Puts her head down as she tears up a little).

Chazz: I see… Then I better not disappoint those who care about me.

Jennifer: You will not die.  I order you not to.  (Her eyes glow green with a hint of red but only for a moment).

Chazz: (Bows to Jennifer).  Of course, milady, your wish is my command.

Jennifer: (Whispers).  Thank you.

Chazz: No thank you.

Jennifer: I cannot imagine Hiki and Tori losing you.  They care so much about you.

Chazz: I know, I cannot do that to them.

Jennifer: Good now let us go show them not to mess with us.

Chazz: I did not say you would be fighting though.

Jennifer: (Gives a small laugh to her attempt).  I tried.

Chazz: I know you are to go with Kairi and get some items for tonight.

Jennifer: What do we need?

Chazz: Food and clothes.

Jennifer: Do you need anything?

Chazz: a new set of clothes after this possibly.

Jennifer: Good idea but do you have to fight in your uniform.

Chazz: No, I have a different set ready in the wagon.

Jennifer: Good we would have to order another describing every detail.  It is quite a pain.

Chazz: I am sorry for that.

Jennifer: It is alright maybe I will leave that to Kairi….  On second thought never mind, she may add lace and pink to it.

Chazz: Yes, I would like to avoid that.

Jennifer: (Smirks).  Are you sure?  It might be your color.

Chazz: Yes, I am sure.

Jennifer: Oh, come on, you know what maybe I will give her the task.

Chazz: No, I would rather not have the head butler look at me like I were crazy but I’m sure I could pull off the colors anyways.

Jennifer: (Laughs).  You never know, she may do a good job.

Kairi: (Makes it back walking behind Jennifer and Chazz).  Do a good job at what?

Chazz: Nothing, nothing, are you ready?

Kairi: Yes, I am.

Jennifer: Very well, let us go.

Kairi: Yay!

Chazz: Yes, yes let us leave.  (Opens the door to the carriage for Jennifer and Kairi and rides off to town as he steers the carriage).

Kairi: So, what are we getting today!

Jennifer: Anything you would like; it is my treat.

Kairi: (Pokes her head out to see Chazz).  Is Tori and Hiki coming too?

Chazz: Of course.

Kairi: Yay we can go shopping together.

Chazz: No, I have to do something first.  After I am done, I will meet you.

Kairi: (Pouts).  Alright but I will get everyone clothes.

Jennifer: (Smirks).  I called it.

Kairi: Huh?

Chazz: (Sighs).

Kairi: (Smiles happily thinking of good outfits).  I will not make it look bad.  I am good at style!

Chazz: We will see.

Jennifer: (Laughs).  Indeed.

Chazz: Alright.

Kairi: Yay let’s go!  (Races out followed by Jennifer).

Chazz: I will meet up with you later.

Kairi: Let’s go!  (Grabs Jennifer’s hand pulling her to follow).

Jennifer: Good luck….  (Looks back at Chazz worriedly as he waves then is pulled away by Kairi).

Chazz: (Stops waving and gets ready as he looks for the user a fire suddenly breaking out).

Jennifer: (Feels something is off and brings Kairi further away).

Kairi: Is something wrong?

Jennifer: No let us keep shopping.

Chazz: (Reaches the area where the fire had broken out seeing people panic as they try to get the fire out.  Chazz sees a young lady with long wavy black hair with scarlet eyes wearing a slimming red dress, standing by while everyone pours out the fire.  As he approaches the girl, he sees she is laughing a bit).

?????: Yes, let the fire rise up and burn it down.

Chazz: Why are you laughing miss?

?????: (Becomes startled for a second).  Oh, umm I just remembered this joke my friend told me It was really funny.

Chazz: But while you are in front of a burning building?  How would your joke relate?  (As he continues to talk to the girl, she starts to try to get away from the conversation but as she leaves Chazz grabs her hand and asks her why was she laughing but then her skin starts to burn him suddenly). Looks like I found the fire.  (Follows the girl in the shadows to a house outside of town as he listens outside the house hearing voices.  One of the young woman and one of a man).

?????: Oh,

that was wonderful how the fire burned, wonderful.

????: Too bad it couldn’t be the whole town.

?????: Now, now one thing at a time Agni.

Chazz: Agni?  Is that the name of her spirit?

?????: I would have enjoyed it more if that guy had not interrupted my viewing.  He was so forward on his questions.  He should know not to be so forward with girls.

Agni: I could have burned him for you.

?????: Now as much as I would have loved that it would have attracted too much attention.

Chazz: (As Jennifer looks for Chazz through the stone the stone shines the girl noticing the shine).

?????: Who’s there!

Chazz: (Comes out with his hands up).

?????: Why did you follow me?

Chazz: I was just passing by.

?????: (Doesn’t buy that, Chazz just was passing by the room suddenly the room becoming hot).

Chazz: (As he tries to leave, he hears a blade being drawn and as he looks back the girl looks like she is ready for battle as a fire starts around her and with a big scythe in her hands.  As she slashes, he blocks her attack and tries backs out of the house).  Who are you?

Amber: my name is Amber Lionheart but I’m sure at the end of this you will not be able to speak that name to anyone else.

Chazz: (Remembers her name being part of the noble Lionheart family as the house blazes in a big fire.  A Squirrel goes by his feet as he notices the squirrel assuming it is Jennifer or a animal of hers as he get out of the house.  As the squirrel follows him Jennifer takes full control of it for a second making its eyes glow green. He throws the squirrel to a nearby tree as he dodges Amber only hitting his clothes slightly).  Well, I guess it is time to fight.  (He and Amber slash at each other back and forth).

Amber: Impressive that you can keep up.

Chazz: I could say the same for you.

Amber: Oh, thank you but flattery will get you nowhere.  You will burn to ashes!

 

As the two continue to clash with their swords there is no sense of the fight ending anytime soon but no one is putting their all into it.

Amber: Alright playtime is over, Agni burn it all down!  (As she says her spirits first form her weapons form of a scythe changes with flames covering the red engravings perfectly with a red glow).

Chazz: (Does not flinch, ready for battle as she charges fast but as she charges, she leaves a trail of fire with her feet).  HikiTori balance the soul!

HikiTori: Yes master.  (The sword separates into their two distinct sword colors in each). 

Amber: I have heard that name before, hmm interesting.  (Lowers her weapon realizing who it is).  … Chazz?  Is that you?  How are you doing my love?  Do you still remember the promise you made to me?

Chazz: Wait what are you talking about, what promise?

Amber: Oh, how could you forget about me love?  We played together in the streets, and we did all sorts of things together.  Though you always did talk about these voices you heard.  For example, there was this one to tell you to do bad things yet another one was the good one.  I always wondered what you were saying to yourself some days

Chazz: Umm Amber I don’t think we could be lovers as kids.

Amber: Oh, but if we were not then why did you promise to marry me when we were kids.  (Amber places her hands on her chest).  You know how tender a girl’s heart is….  YOU SHOULDN’T LIE TO A GIRL EVER!  (As she says that a fire vortex begins to surround her).  Now my love, let us rampage this town together!  For it is our destiny, if only that family hadn’t taken you away from me.  (Amber holds out her hand to Chazz).

Chazz: Wait… What do you mean they took me away and how do you know about them?

Amber: Well everyday in the streets… We would play together… You were the only one that allowed me to feel so relaxed and comfortable… Then one day you were gone… I looked all over the city for you.  I just wanted you again by my side… Then one day.  (The fire begins to get stronger).  I saw you in those people home dressed up as a butler… I couldn’t understand on why you were alright with that type of life… And I knew I couldn’t see you because of family issues… But all I wanted was you again by my side… And now here you are again, right in front me.

Chazz: Oh… I see we had that type of history, but I assure no one took me away by force.  I had chosen to go with them so that my life could become better.  I am sorry Amber, but I cannot go with when you are the source of all this chaos… I am sorry.

Amber: Lies!  Why will you not come with me!  (The fire grows intense as Chazz gets ready for it).  Well, if you will not come with me by choice I will make you come by force!

Chazz: (Signals the squirrel to tell Jennifer he will be fine as Jennifer nods leaving the squirrel going back to her body finding Kairi looking at dresses still).  HikiTori let’s go!

HikiTori: Yes master!

Amber: I will burn you to a crisp my love if you don’t come with me!

Chazz: Well then let’s see what happens.

Amber: (Rushes in trying to catch Chazz off guard with her scythe, manages to get a cut off but when he notices the slash into his leg, he begins to feel a burning pain within his leg making it hard to stand up straight).  … What is this pain?

Hiki: Are you alright, do you want to me to help master?

Chazz: No, I do not want to take a chance.  Just try to do something while in sword form.

Hiki: Yes master.

Chazz: (As Amber and he fight the hotter the field becomes and the more the fire evokes and feeling this increased pressure in his heart).  Ah… grah!  (The pain in his body begins to burn just as much as the fire around him).

Hiki: MASTER!

Tori: Master… We need to go even farther for us to win this fight… I’m sorry but we need to become stronger!

Chazz: I know… I do have orders to not die but if we need to embrace this pressure inside of me then so be it….  (As he struggles to stand up as he holds one sword in each hand). HikiTori… It is time to shatter the soul.  (His two swords becomes a katana like sword that both Hiki and Tori carry in their human form but they both have a curved edged with a line in between them so each sword black and white on them).

Amber: Yes, I want to see even more things from you, my love!  Show me everything of you!

Chazz: (As he fights Amber, he feels a feeling that they had fought before).  As you wish Lady Amber,

Amber: Do not say that!  You’re making me blush!

 

Meanwhile by Jennifer and Kairi).

Kairi: Oh, good you are up.  Why did you fall asleep?

Jennifer: Umm oops sorry.  (Looks at the dresses as Kairi shows her surprised that she did well choosing outfits for everyone).  I like how you bought the color of each spirits element for all of them to wear.

Kairi: Thank you!

Jennifer: (Suddenly sees a fire pillar rises standing to attention though it seems no one else can see them).  Kairi get back!  Chazz please be alright!

Kairi: (Clings to her sister out of fear).  What is going on!

Jennifer: I will tell you later, let’s go!  (As the fire pillar is in the sky suddenly a light and dark pillar rises as well able to tell it is pure energy from both sides as she hears blades clash).  I know you can win.

Kairi: Is that Chazz?

Jennifer: Yes, he is fighting a bad lady.  I did not tell you to keep you safe.

Kairi: We have to help them!

Jennifer: He is very strong, he can win… I know it.

Kairi: (Looks at the pillars of energy).  But I just want to help.

Jennifer: I know me too, but we cannot this time.

Kairi: (Rushes past Jennifer towards the fight anyways).

Jennifer: (Runs after Kairi).  No get back here!

Kairi: (Runs into a light barrier around the area as the she looks into it, she sees only an open field).

Jennifer: It is alright, he will be alright.  I can use the nature inside the barrier to look but for now I will stay with you.

Kairi: I hope he is alright….

Jennifer: He will be, but he wanted me to protect you first.

 

Back in the barrier Chazz and Amber continue to fight.  Amber using all her power as she aims to kill Chazz as he tries to get away from her so he can seal her spirit.  Before the pillar appears, Chazz begins to charge in with HikiTori as he begins to slash Amber’s flames begin to give out a sort of shield around her.

Agni: Hah just try to pierce my flames!  You never will be able you fool!

Chazz: I see….  (Still struggles to move at a fast rate as the pain inside of him is still strong).

Amber: Darling please stop.  I do not want to hurt you even more….  I will stop if you just come back to me, and we can leave this town together.

Chazz: … I am sorry lady Amber, but I cannot I have a duty to uphold and that is to protect lady Jennifer.

Amber: (Flames begin to grow around her again).  What!  You are cheating on me with another girl that doesn’t deserve you!  How dare you!

Chazz: Umm I wouldn’t call it cheating since I am her butler.

Amber: (Charges in with rage and slashes Chazz again but this time on his arm).  Well then if all I need to do is kill her to bring you back to me!

Chazz: No, you can’t!

Amber: Why would I not?  I want to bring back the person I played with.  Even though we were in different social statuses I lived as a royal while you lived in the streets, you the person I looked forward to the most to meet.  I just want to not feel lonely anymore.

Chazz: Lonely?  And how do you know me?

Agni: Amber don’t lose sight of the battle.  Finish him now.  (As Agni is saying that dark flame energy is pouring into Amber).

Amber: (Looks up with a blank expression as she readies her scythe).  Yes, I must kill you here darling.  Make me not feel lonely anymore.  (Charges in faster than ever as she is charging in her scythes to begins to turn black with its flames).

Chazz: What is this!  (Chazz is not striking back he is trying to avoid all of the scythe’s movements since there is not a clear understanding of what is going on).

Tori: Master the lady over there is being taken over by Agni.

Chazz: But I thought that would only happen with dark spirits.

Tori: No, it can happen with any spirit that is corrupted.  The influence of the user is overtaken and is basically a slave to the sprints command, so all of these actions are not her own!  (As Chazz is speaking to him in his mind Amber continues slashing at him with her flames).

Chazz: I guess no more defense, time to break the hold!  (Chazz starts to ready Tori’s katana as he charges in, he begins to feel the evil pressure Tori was talking about the hold Agni has over Amber is strong.  As the clashing goes on the blows are becoming stronger with each strike and block the force behind each one is too great for the ground to handle.  Chazz is then struck from behind from dark flames which causes him to feel great pain in all of his nerves making him yell in pain as he falls to the ground).

Amber: Finally, I can take him back now.

HikiTori: (Both Hiki and Tori come out of their swords ready to fight and defend their master).  No you aren’t!

Amber: Nice to meet you both but I must be taking your master back with me now.

Hiki: No, you aren’t!  He is going back home!

Amber: His home is a lie!  They stole him away from me, now if you stand in my way, I will burn you down too!  (She shoots a dark flame at Hiki, Hiki blocks it with her sword with the help of Tori managing to absorb the flame into Hiki’s sword).

Hiki: Thanks Tori, can you cover me as I help master.

Tori: Yes, I can but work fast.

Hiki: Of course.

Tori: Now then Amber how about dancing with me then?

Amber: Give him back!

Tori and Amber: (Begins to fight but it is clear that Tori is having some trouble with her, his focus on only protecting Chazz).

Tori: Darkness blade barrage.  (A shroud of darkness blades surrounds both him and Amber and as Tori gives the order the blades charge into Amber, but none are able to connect because of the flames surrounding her begin to grow stronger).

Amber: Is that all you got, now like I said before… Give him back to me now!

Hiki: No I won’t!  (She is healing Chazz as fast as she can).

Amber: I will burn through you all in order to reach my love!

Hiki: (As she begins to cry with her next words).  Why… Why… Why… Would you hurt someone you love?  What is the sense in that?

Amber: Silence!  I will have him back by my side so that I will not need to have anything else!  All I will need is him!

Hiki: (Tears are running down her face).  If you did truly love master, you would not want him to get hurt… Or feel pain… All you should want is to make him smile and laugh in the silly way that he does… You can’t tell me you love him if you are doing these sorts of things that hurt him more than anything else… I will protect my master since he is the most important person to me, and I won’t let you hurt him anymore… Tori I’m all done now thanks for the cover.

Tori: No problem, how is master doing.  (He says this while looking at Amber wondering when she will make her next move).

Hiki: He should be fine now.  He is in a stabilized state, we just need to give him a couple more minutes.

Tori: Alright well hopefully he wakes up soon.  This girl is becoming a bit too much handle at once.

Hiki: I can see that but let’s do what we can since we are stronger together as team.

Tori: I couldn’t agree more, let’s go.

Hiki and Tori: (Gets into their ready stances, Amber is still looking down while the flames surround her).

Amber: All I wanted in my life was to be wanted the feeling of love to comfort me like no other.  Even though I thought I had found that love it was taken away from me.  I felt loneliness around me.  I felt alone and sadness surrounded my feelings because every time that me and my family went into the city, I always look forward to seeing this one boy.  The one boy who had nothing but himself to keep going on everyday and the only one that ever made me feel like I wasn’t alone anymore.

Hiki: But what about your family?

Amber: (Laughs).  What family, I have been gone for two weeks and they haven’t noticed I was gone they would forget about me even if they could not.  What good is a family that doesn’t even love you or care if you are there or not?

Tori: Still no reason to cause of this chaos to everyone in town, and especially hurt master if you say that you love him.

Amber: (Amber’s flames erupt into a pillar of flame).  They deserved that pain because no one felt the need to help look for Chazz.  No one ever bat an eye at Chazz when he was in the streets no one to help him they deserve the despair he felt!

????: Now then I can begin to understand your pain of loneliness.

Hiki and Tori: (Look behind them and see that Chazz is standing up barely his legs are shaking as he stands).  Master! (Hiki jumps onto Chazz and Tori pats his shoulder).

Chazz: Sorry to make you both worry and thank you Hiki for helping me out.

Hiki: Anytime master.  (She says while she blushes).

Amber: My love, are you alright now?  Did you think about my offer.

Chazz: Yes, I did and I must say from my past I can remember having fun with a girl that was clearly from royalty.  Though I may not remember all of the details I do know very well of the feeling of loneliness and the despair that it causes but I cannot agree with the way you are doing things.

Amber: (Begins to cry).  Why will you not stay next to me like you promised.  you told me that I could count on you the most but where were you!

Chazz: I did not mean to leave you alone, but you cannot keep this violence going my love.

Amber: My… My love you say?

Hiki: (Looks in pure shock thinking she had misheard).  What!

Tori: Shush Hiki, let’s see what happens.

Chazz: Darling I do remember the promise that I made to you to always be by your side and to protect you from sadness but the way of showing you love is cruel is quite harsh on everyone else.  Can you please just come to me?

Amber: (Is still crying heavily whereas the flames don’t seem to going anywhere).  But I’m going to burn you up and I don’t want to hurt you again….  I didn’t mean to last time just wanted to… To… I am not even sure anymore.

Chazz: (Steps into the flames though he is burning up he reaches out for Amber).  Just reach for my hand because it’s held out for you.

Amber: (Shakes her head and says yes.  She grabs his hand, and the flames start to feel less hot for Chazz as he pulls her close).

Hiki and Tori: (Are watching from afar though Hiki is also getting a little jealous of Amber right now but more worried about Chazz since he shouldn’t be in much of a condition to even try this).

Chazz: (Pulls Amber in close for a kiss).

Amber: (Is ready to be reunited with the boy she fell in love with all those years ago and as they kiss the flame pillar rises Chazz also begins to get Agni away from Amber by taking scythe out of her hand and throwing onto the nearby ground).

Chazz: Hiki, time to send to this one away!

Hiki: Yes master… Spiritual depart!  (A light seal appears on her sword as well as Chazz’s sword).

Agni: No, you won’t stop my rampage!

Amber: Darling what are you doing?  What is going to happen to Agni?

Chazz: I am sorry Amber, but he needs to be sealed away for the sake of everyone in town?

Agni: I would like to see that happen then!

Chazz: Oh, I will

Hiki: (Jumps behind Amber).  Sorry Amber, I cannot allow you to interfere.

Amber: (Puts up a sad pouty face).  No do not take my friend away from me.  He is all I have left.

Agni: Let the heavens burn!  (Multiple pillars of flame begin to erupt from the ground).

Chazz: I will not let them be touched, concealment of balance.  (Suddenly a black and white pillar of light rises in order to start the seal upon Agni).  Go back to the darkness where you belong!

Agni: Never, you won’t send me away!  I still need to burn it all to a crisp!  All of the world, I will soon see it all change and be reborn!

Chazz: I am afraid that will not happen.  Time to stop Agni, Yin yang sealing!  I am sorry Amber, but I will fill your sense of loneliness and I will not ever forget about you ever again.

Agni: (Is then sealed away only being heard in the distance).  Soon it will begin to burn down, this world of yours.

 

A squirrel soon after comes over to Chazz looking up at him with green eyes.

Chazz: Yes, yes milady, what is it?

(The squirrel nods to Chazz then tries to talk only able to talk as a squirrels squeaks).

Chazz: Umm alright then, I will be taking down the barrier soon for you and Madam Kairi in a bit.  (The squirrel nods Jennifer fading from it as she explains everything while they wait for the barrier to go down and once it does Kairi rushing over getting their first seeing Hiki and Tori are there helping Chazz with repairs to the house).

Kairi: (Doesn’t slow down ramming into Tori giving him a big hug).  Tori are you alright!

Tori: Ywag!  (Laughs a bit after yelling from the sudden impact).

Kairi: Are you alright, I was worried.  (Look up at Tori a little teary eyes).

Tori: Yes, yes, I am fine Miss Kairi.

Kairi: As long as you are not hurt.

Jennifer: (Catches up as she silently watches the two).

Hiki: (Waves at Jennifer).  Hi!

Jennifer: Hi, I am glad everyone is alright.

Kairi: What was that all about anyways?

Chazz: A person being corrupted by a bad spirit.

Jennifer: I see what happened to the spirit.

Chazz: It is gone.

Kairi: Wait where does it belong?  Is it the same place Kura and Yami come from?

Yami: (Appears along with Kura).  Yes, know that place, I think.

Kura: I am as well but a different part.

Chazz: Yes, it would be the fire section.  Each element belongs to a certain area, but Agni loses his magic.

Kairi: How does a spirit become bad?

Yami: (Shrugs).  I don’t know just way I was raised.

Chazz: It could be based on that.  Also, it is usually the spirit themselves for it is their moral choice as it could be said for humans as well.

Jennifer: I see then.

Kairi: Yami you’re not that bad.

Yami: Don’t count on that.

Chazz: Yes, Yami is a better case of no corruption yet Agni had to be sent away before he caused more harm.

Yami: Are you saying I’m too weak to corrupt stuff!

Chazz: No, no I mean you are handled fine by lady Kairi and Kura.

Yami: I could get away if I wanted.

Kairi: Do you want a hug?

Yami: No get away!

Kairi: (Chases Yami around trying to give him a hug).

Yami: Get her away from me!

Chazz: There is my proof.  That is enough lady Kairi.

Kairi: (Stop with a giggle).

Yami: (Pouts disappearing going into Kairi’s mind along with Kura as she shakes her head with a sigh).

Jennifer: If he acts up just give him a hug or Tori can throw his weapon back at him again.

Tori: I will just ask lady Kairi for that.

Jennifer: (Laughs).  I am just glad everyone is safe.

Kairi: Me to and plus I got a bunch of outfits for everyone.

Amber: (Wakes up slowly looking around confused).  Where am I?  What happened to my family?  Chazz what is going on and why is my dress like this?  (Looks at her dress which is ripped up from the battle one of the rips being very close to her large chest and another making an open leg slit).

Jennifer: Hello I am Jennifer and you just had lost a fight.

Kairi: I have a few extra dresses I can go get.

Amber: What, I do not remember fighting anyone.  I just remember walking around my garden when I heard this voice calling for me then I don’t remember anything after that.

Jennifer: You don’t remember anything?  Why is that?

Chazz: That may be because her spirit was sealed away.

Jennifer: I see so what do you remember other than the garden and the voice.

Amber: I was planning to come to town to see Chazz since I heard he was in good hands, so I wanted to catch up.

Jennifer: (This is more to herself, but she does not realize it is said out loud).  Huh but you just fought and tried to kill him.

Ambers: (Looks shocked and tears starting to from).

Jennifer: Oh, I am sorry.

Kairi: (Walks over to Amber handing her a napkin to wipe her eyes, Amber starting to say sorry quite a lot).

Jennifer: (Gives Amber a hug).  Hey it is alright.  He is fine and besides.  (Whispers so only Amber can hear).  Besides I heard you had confessed your love to him at the same time you were fighting so it evened out.

Amber: Oh, I already have done that.  I told him I love him, but I was rejected sadly.

Chazz: I recall something like that.  Amber was a person I played with whenever family was in town though I don’t remember anything more than that.

Jennifer: (Helps Amber up).  Welcome to the club.  Do you have a place to stay?

Amber: Yes, I do, it is my family’s mansion, but I do not know if they know I am gone so I will catch a horse home.

Jennifer: If you need a place to stay tonight or a horse, we can help with that.

Amber: It is getting late so I may stay for the night if not too much trouble.

Jennifer: Very well, I will prepare a room when we get back.

Kairi: Do you still have fire powers?

Jennifer: (Looks in a bit of fear).

Amber: Fire what?

Jennifer: … Never mind.

Chazz: (Whispers to Jennifer and Kairi).  When I sealed Agni away it had also sealed his magic so right now, she is a normal girl.

Kairi: Yay she won’t burn down the mansion!

Jennifer: (Covers Kairi’s mouth quickly).  Umm ignore that.

Amber: (Looks very confused).  Umm alright then.

Chazz: Right then let us head back.

Jennifer: Agreed.

Kairi: Yay everyone gets to look and try on what I got them!

Chazz: Whelp.

Jennifer: Might as well humor her.

Chazz: True, true.

Jennifer: Do you have any spare clothes?

Amber: All I have is this dress though I do like how it fits but I do not like how indecent it looks at the moment.  (Tries to fix the dress a bit).

Chazz: (Gives Amber his jacket to cover up with).

Kairi: I have been learning how to sew and knit a little, I can try and fix it plus I bought extra dresses.

Amber: That would be great.

Kairi: (Smiles brightly at Amber who smiles back).  I will try.

Amber: (As everyone walks to the carriage, she becomes embarrassed from the looks she gets).

Kairi: I do not get is why are they staring?

Jennifer: The dress is very…. Worn.

Kairi: (Shrugs).  So?

Jennifer: It is improper.

Kairi: I do not see why.

Amber: (Tries to cover up more of her with the jacket).

Kairi: So, I do not see the big deal.

Jennifer: (facepalms with a sigh).

Amber: Do I look weird?

Kairi: No, even if you were not wearing a dress at all you are still the same person.

Jennifer: (Covers Kairi’s mouth quickly as Amber blushes even more).  Kairi why would you say that!  I am sorry miss Amber, you look fine.

Amber: (Says nothing as she tries covering her chest more while blushing).

Jennifer: Kairi say sorry.

Kairi: What did I do?

Jennifer: For embarrassing her.

Kairi: Oh, sorry Miss Amber.  (Bows to Amber).

Amber: N-no worries at all.

Jennifer: So, going away from that topic you were friends with Chazz as kids?

Amber: Yes, my family had often gone to town for business, so I asked to come along one day.  This boy in the street was trying to play with a rock near the river so I had asked if I could play too but I had surprised the boy and he fell into the lake.  I laughed then he pouted a bit but started to laugh as well so as we were playing with the rocks, I had asked him if I came again would he play with me.  He said yes, he would wait for me here until I came back.  I had asked for his name, but he wouldn’t tell me until next time.  When I came again a week later, I could not find the boy.  I was really upset about this but as we were walking the boy scared me for payback.  My parents didn’t know how to act but I told them I had played with the boy before and though they were hesitant they let me go play with him whenever we came to town.  That is how that started with this friend I have.

Jennifer: How cute, did you know why he was taken into my family’s mansion?  It wasn’t that we kidnapped him or anything.

Amber: No, I was pretty upset about it, but I knew that one day we could play again like we used to.  I doubt that now since we are not kids anymore and that when I found out where he was I so overjoyed that I did not know what to do but I knew it wasn’t a good time to try and go see him.

Jennifer: You can still visit him no problem.  You are welcome anytime as long as we can agree out noble houses can get along.

Amber: I would guess so.

Jennifer: (Offers her hand to shake hand with Amber).  Good until then you will have today and a little of tomorrow with Chazz until you go back home so enjoy it.

Chazz: I am sorry Miss Amber, but I do not seem to recall many memories from my past.

Amber: Oh… Alright….  (Looks down sadly).

Chazz: But if you could tell me that would be most helpful.

Amber: (Looks up happily).  Yes.

Jennifer: I will let you two talks when we get back.  I have some things I have to take care of.

Chazz: As you wish milady.

Jennifer: (Everyone makes it to the carriage seeing a giant pile of shopping bags being loaded into the carriage) … I did not realize you had gotten this much Kairi.

Chazz: (Looks at the bags with a irate look unable to speak).

Kairi: I had to buy for everyone.

Jennifer: Umm you went a little overboard.

Kairi: But there so many pretty things.

Chazz: La-lady Kairi how much did you spend?

Kairi: I do not remember.

Chazz: Remind me to scold you later.

Kairi: Why?  I got you some things as well.

Chazz: That is not the problem.

Kairi: Then what?

Jennifer: (Facepalms and sighs).  I will cover all of it.

Chazz: I know but still.

Jennifer: How is everything going to fit?

Kairi: Just put it in the carriage.

Jennifer: Where do we sit then?

Kairi: (Pauses having not of thought of that).  Hmm I do not know.

Chazz: Oh, oh.

Jennifer: We could sit in front with Chazz.

Kairi: There is not that much room, I can sit on someone’s lap.

Tori: I’ve got you.

Jennifer: (Glares at Tori).  Very well but someone else will have to sit on another’s lap.

Kairi: Yay Tori!  (Hugs Tori but then tries not to act to excited about it).

Chazz: Amber can be on my lap and Tori you can take Miss Kairi.

Amber: (Looks embarrassed but agrees).

Jennifer: (Frowns feeling left out).  … Very well then.

Kairi: Alright let’s go!

Chazz: (As Amber sits on his lap, he feels the soft legs she has unintentionally and tries to hide a growing blush).

Jennifer: (Sits down as protectiveness creeps up on her trying to shrug it off looking away as she blushes).

Kairi: Come on Tori!  (Skips to the carriage grabbing Tori’s hand pulling him along then Tori sitting down and Kairi sitting on his leg).

Hiki: (Climbs on top of the carriage and sits steadily).

Kairi: Sorry if you are uncomfortable.

Tori: No, no it is fine.  (Has a small blush as well but is better at hiding it.

Kairi: (Smiles brightly at Tori).  Alright I bought you some clothes to.  I hope you like them!

Tori: I probably will if you have chosen them for me.

Kairi: Great.  (Gives Tori a hug).

Tori: Why thank you.

Kairi: No problem.  (Looks at Tori with a big smile as he smiles back).

Kairi: (Talks quietly so Amber does not hear).  So, what is it like being a spirit, it sounds fun?

Tori: Well to put it simply it is both fun and bad.

Kairi: Fun and bad how though it does seem lonely.

Tori: It can especially if your user ignores or mistreats you.

Kairi: (Looks down sadly).  I am sorry I do not understand why someone would do that.  You are so nice.

Tori: Well, it has never happened to me, but I have heard stories.

Kairi: But if you have had good people doesn’t it get sad if they go away?

Tori: People are sad when they lose their spirits, but it can be the same for spirits if they lose their user.

Kairi: (Gives Tori a hug tearing up a bit while thinking through what was talked about not letting go).  I am sorry.

Tori: (Accepts the hug while patting Kairi’s head).

Kairi: Well while everyone is here, we can enjoy the time we spend.

Tori: Yes, yes.  (Kairi doesn’t let go thinking on what was talked about as he pets her head enjoying the moment).

Jennifer: (Looks over at Tori and Kairi with a slight smile on her face but then realizes that she is supposed to not approve becoming protective as she glares at Tori who ignores it).  Are we home yet?

Kairi: (Frowns not wanting the trip to end).

Hiki: Almost.

Jennifer: How are you doing up there?

Hiki: (Looks at Amber).  Just fine though kind of upset… But just fine.

Jennifer: (Looks over at Amber then looks back at Hiki with an understanding look).  I know how you feel.

Hiki: (Looks down as she judges her own chest and compares).

Jennifer: (Climbs to the top of the carriage).

Hiki: Hi!

Jennifer: Hi so what do you think.  (Looks at Chazz and Amber).

Hiki: Another rival has appeared though she has an advantage.

Jennifer: Another?  You cannot say I am a rival as well. (Pouts).

Hiki: All is fair in love and war.

Jennifer: I would prefer to stay out of the war part if I have a choice.

Hiki: True, true.

Jennifer: I do not want to lose a friend while fighting even if it means not being happy and them being happy.  I rather that then the other way around.

Hiki: True, true it is not nice.

Jennifer: Indeed.

Hiki: We are home.

Jennifer: The sun is about to set so I suppose we should end the day soon.

Kairi: (Frowns).  Aww trips over.

Tori: Well, that is unfortunate.

Chazz: Umm I could use help here.  (Everyone looks at Chazz seeing Amber had fallen asleep during the trip).

Jennifer: What shall we do then?

Chazz: (Fixes his Jacket on Amber because it was starting to open.

Jennifer: Hmm I will tell a maid to get her room ready.  (Jumps off the carriage).

Kairi: (Watches everyone still sitting on Tori’s lap).

Tori: (Whispers to Kairi).  Act like you are asleep as well.  I can carry you to your room.

Kairi: (Smiles closing her eyes her arms still wrapped around Tori acting like she is asleep).

Tori: Well, it seems Kairi has fallen asleep as well.

Jennifer: I see well I can take her to her room.

Chazz: No, it is fine, Tori can do it.  No need to bother you with that.

Jennifer: (Narrows her eyes at Tori).  Very well I will ask a maid to get Amber’s room ready.  (Leaves).

Tori: (Leaves with Kairi in his arms)

Kairi: (Once out of sight she opens her eyes hugging Tori with a huge smile).

Tori: (Smiles at Kairi).  Why thank you, I enjoy your hugs.

Kairi: Really why do you like my hugs so much?

Tori: They are warm and nice.

Kairi: True they can be.  (Continues to look at Tori with a smile).  You are a very nice, thank you for carrying me.

Tori: No need to worry.

Kairi: Does this mean I have to go to bed though I don’t want to.  I am not tired, and you can’t make me.

Tori: No, no you are fine.

Kairi: Good because I don’t know why but it is hard to sleep when it gets dark.

Tori: Well, I could spend time with you for a bit until you fall asleep.  I am a small fan of naps myself

Kairi: I guess that would be alright.

Tori: If you are alright with me.

Kairi: Why would I not be?

Tori: As you wish madam.

Kairi: I do not mind.  Usually when everyone goes to sleep, I climb to the top on the roof and look at the sky too.

Tori: Hmm so that was you?

Kairi: What, you saw me?

Tori: Yes, I have before.

Kairi: Why did you not go up to see who it was?

Tori: I did not want to interrupt.

Kairi: Oh, it is alright, though I probably would have run away not knowing who came up anyways.

Tori: I figured.

Kairi: Do not tell sis, I will get in trouble.

Tori: I wouldn’t dream of it.

Tori: I would be happy too.

Tori: (Arrives at her door).  Well, here we are.

Kairi: Yes.  (Does not get out of Tori’s hold).

Tori: Do you want me to lay you in bed?

Kairi: Aww but I don’t want to go to bed.

Tori: Hmm I may spend time with you for a bit.

Kairi: Alright!  (Has a bright smile up at Tori).

Tori: Though you have been acting strange are you alright?

Kairi: What do you mean?

Tori: I am not sure how to explain it.

Kairi: (Gives a confused look).  What?

Tori: I am not sure myself.

Kairi: I do not know either when you find out can you tell me?

Tori: Sure.  (Smiles at Kairi with a faint blush himself).

Kairi: Thank you but it is too early to look up at the stars.

Tori: We could always talk.

Kairi: About what?

Tori: Anything you wish.

Kairi: I am interested in what it is like being a spirit still.  What is the fun part about being a spirit?

Tori: I will tell you what I can.

Kairi: Thank you and anything you do not want to talk about is fine, you don’t have to.

Tori: As you wish madam.  Well, being a spirit, we do live for a much longer time to say the least and are gifted with our own set of powers as for example Hiki and I.  We are two spirits but two completely different types.  There are many things to being a spirit.  We are able to travel anywhere we want and see the world in a whole new special way.

Kairi: I see thank you usually things are not explained to me, or I am told I am too young to understand.  (Looks down sadly).  But I’m not that much younger than sis and everyone else at all so I want to understand with them.

Tori: Well at some points things will be explained but when you are ready to learn about them.  We can’t just explain everything at once.

Kairi: I suppose but one day I will be able to help everyone because I will know more and be strong enough to protect others.

Tori: I look forward to that.

Kairi: Maybe I could be even strong enough to protect you.

Tori: Hmm well then, I am here for you to protect.

Kairi: But you are so strong.  I was watching you fight in the yard this morning; you were amazing.

Tori: Well, I thought no one else was awake at that time.

Kairi: I cannot sleep when it is dark so I either wonder or look at the sky.

Tori: Why can’t you sleep?

Kairi: I do not know.  I feel tired in the afternoon but once the sun sets, I get my energy back.

Tori: Well, you are dark element so it’s fine.

Kairi: But shouldn’t I need sleep?

Tori: Maybe you should just have a light on, so it isn’t completely dark.

Kairi: Maybe but I am not too tired during the day, I can manage.

Tori: As you say milady also Miss Kairi, I was wondering how you feel with Kura and Yami.

Kairi: They are nice, Kura is quiet and likes to read and Yami is not as bad as he says.

Tori: I see then.

Kairi: Why do you ask?

Tori: Just to make sure you are happy.

Kairi: I am, oh and Kura taught me some support stuff.

Tori: Like what type of support?

Kairi: she is teaching me how to make a barrier and defend but I am not very good at it yet.

Tori: Ohh.  (Laughs).  Well, you will learn.

Kairi: I know I already can make a small barrier but it’s not that strong.

Tori: Hmm?

Kairi: I can try making one now.

Tori: Do as you wish.

Kairi: I can try putting a barrier around you, is that alright?

Tori: Yes of course.

Kairi: Alright I will try!  (Puts her hand on Tori’s arm as she concentrates).

Tori: Hmm?  (Looks at Kairi curiously)?

Kairi: (After a moment a dark barrier forms around Tori who looks at the small barrier impressed Kairi opening her eyes).  Yay I did it!

Tori: Yes, you did good job now let me get out of here.

Kairi: Hmm….  (Gives Tori a mischievous look).

Tori: (Stretches out his arms and his leg so they are outside of the barrier).

Kairi: Aww no fun.

Tori: (Realizes his arm is about to hit Kairi and pulls it away quickly with a faint blush to himself).

Kairi: I guess I should take down the barrier since it does not work.

Tori: Umm yes it isn’t that it doesn’t work.  It’s just that I can get past fairly easily.

Kairi: (Looks down sadly).  Aww I’m sorry, I wish I was stronger.

Tori: No, no this is good with you just starting.

Kairi: Alright.  (Closes her eyes the barrier fading away).

Tori: Good.

Kairi: Thank you.  (Leans over giving Tori a hug).

Tori: No thank you for the hugs.

Kairi: I do not know why but I just like giving you hugs.

Tori: Well, I always enjoy them.

Kairi: From everyone?

Tori: No just you really.

Kairi: Oh, alright why just me?

Tori: They are soft and warm.

Kairi: Nothing seems to annoy or upset you, not that I have seen.

Tori: N-no.

Kairi: (Frowns).  Aww no fun, are you sure?

Tori: Yes, I am sure.

Kairi: (Pouts crossing her arms).  Aww no fun everyone is ticklish somewhere.

Tori: I am sorry milady.

Kairi: Hmm maybe I can find a ticklish spot.  (Grabs Tori’s foot and starts tickling it).

Tori: Noo!  (Tries to stop Kairi but it is too late as he starts laughing something about this reminding him of how Hiki can be).

Kairi: (Laughs and keeps tickling as Tori starts to laugh).  See I told you!  (After a few minutes Kairi stops tickling but keep a hold of Tori’s foot on her lap).

Tori: Well then, I will tickle you!  (Starts tickling Kairi’s sides as she laughs uncontrollably being extremely ticklish).

Kairi: Hey!  (Tries to crawl away as she laughs).

Tori: This is payback!

Kairi: No get away.  (Tries to get away as she laughs more).

Tori: No and I am quite used to behavior like this from Hiki.  I would’ve never expected it from you.

Kairi: (Tackles Tori knocking him back then trying to reach for Tori’s foot again as Tori is pulling her away from his foot but then falls on top of Kairi so they are face to face as Kairi laughs trying to calm down her breath).  Hey!

Tori: Hey.  (Can’t help but laugh and shake his head).

Kairi: That wasn’t nice.  (Calms down a little looking into Tori’s eyes).

Tori: Well neither were you.

Kairi: (Does not say anything as she continues to stare at Tori with a slight blush).

Tori: Are you alright?  (Has a more confused expression).

Kairi: Y-yes.  (Continues to stare).

Tori: Umm well I should leave now.

Kairi: If you have to.  Thank you for spending time with me.  (Brings Tori closer to her giving him a hug even though it makes Tori stumble).

Tori: (Kisses Kairi’s forehead and stands).  Goodnight, madam, I will see you again.

Kairi: (Blushes).  G-goodnight oh also.  (Grabs Tori’s hand dark energy flowing from her to him).  Can I give you some of my energy so I can sleep a little?  It will make up for taking yours when I was training with you.

Tori: Yes, if it helps you.

Kairi: Alright thank you….  (Yawns).

Tori: (Waves goodnight as he opens the door to leave).

Kairi: Goodni….  (Falls asleep).

Tori: Oh, oh she needs to control her energy.  That’s what keeps her awake though she is cute, indeed if only I were human… Well, that’s not a good thought I can’t fall in that direction.

Meanwhile as Chazz and Jennifer help Amber get to bed Chazz wonders the halls with Amber in his arms as Jennifer looks for a maid to ready a room for Amber.

Jennifer: (Tells a maid to get a guest room ready and the maid bows rushing to the guest room and then goes to another servant telling him to help the other servants to unload the carriage who sees the carriage in shock once outside.  Once she is done, she looks for Chazz.

Chazz: (Walks with Amber as he feels the soft sensations of her body type unintentionally but tries to ignore them).

Jennifer: (As she looks for Chazz, she decides to use the stone as she closes her eyes the stone glows and she finds Chazz standing in the dining room).  Hello, the room will be ready soon.

Chazz: Very good.

Jennifer: I see, why are you in the dining room?

Chazz: I just made my way here just walking around to past the time.

Jennifer: I see how is she, is she feeling alright?

Chazz: She is doing fine but a heavy sleeper.

Jennifer: I see well you may carry her to her room, it should be almost done.

Chazz: Yes, yes milady.

Jennifer: shall I accompany you or not?

Chazz: Umm that may be good to help her with her lady things.

Jennifer: (Pauses for a moment not sure what to say).  I suppose.

Chazz: (Goes silent as he walks).

Jennifer: Can a maid not take care of her?

Chazz: No, no I can carry her at least.

Jennifer: Very well but I am a lady I should not be doing that.

Chazz: I know.

Jennifer: (Sighs).  we need more woman servants.

Chazz: If you don’t wish to help that is fine.

Jennifer: (Sighs).  I will help with what I can.

Chazz: Thank you.

Jennifer: It is fine.  (Arrives at the guest room opening the door for Chazz seeing the maids finishing the room as Chazz lays Amber in the bed).  Thank you for readying the room.

Maid: (Bows).  Of course, milady.

Jennifer: Yes….  (Stands awkwardly not knowing what to do as the maids leave).

Chazz: Now milady since everyone else is busy with Kairi’s bags you will need to help get Lady Amber changed.

Jennifer: (Blushes slightly).  Umm right can she wake up and remind me to never take Kairi shopping again.

Chazz: I am afraid she cannot.  She is gaining her energy back from losing Agni and her mind is trying to piece itself together so she would be not much help.  You can use the maids here to help but you will be doing this for sure.

Jennifer: Umm r-right.  (Blushes as she stares at Chazz then Amber not sure how to respond or act).

Chazz: Do not worry you will be fine.

Jennifer: I-I know I dressed my sis when she was little… Once.

Chazz: Then what is the problem.

Jennifer: The dress caught on fire….

Chazz: Ahh.

Jennifer: I placed the dress a little too close to the fireplace….

Chazz: Well, you should be fine now.

Jennifer: I will but a man should not be in the room when a woman is changing.

Chazz: That is why I brought you along.  I am going to leave so call me when you are done.

Jennifer: Will you be helping those poor servants taking in Kairi’s bags?

Chazz: Yes, I will be doing what I can.

Jennifer: Good luck you will need it.

Chazz: I know I will.

Jennifer: (Goes over to the closet grabbing a nightgown as Chazz leaves).  Alright I have this… I just need to get her into this nightgown… Yes easy.  (Starts to take off Amber’s dress looking away as she blushes as Amber wakes up a little causing Jennifer to panic and back away).

Amber: (Says sleepily).  No, no… I want to see Chazz….  (Falls back to sleep).

Jennifer: Umm I can get him after you are dressed… Hello… Hello?  Oh, she is asleep again.

Amber: (The top of her dress falls down).

Jennifer: (Blushes but then frowns looking down at her chest but try to ignore it as she takes the rest of Amber’s dress off as Amber struggles a bit as she moves around in her sleep).  Please stay still.  (Panics as she tries to hold Amber’s legs still so she can get the nightgown on as a maid come in).

Maid: Milady sir Chazz asked me to come…. Umm what are you doing?

Jennifer: (Pause in slight panic).  Umm trying to get Miss Amber to stay still so I can get a nightgown on her….

Maid: Umm alright well let me help, do not want to burn the house down.

Jennifer: (Hangs her head in defeat).  That was a long time ago… And only one room was on fire.

Maid: That does not help milady.

Jennifer: (Huddles in the corner defeated).  do not judge me.  I am not a maid.

Maid: Well, you still must help milady.  It is fine, you did your best it is just bad timing is all.

Jennifer: Alright what can I do to help?

Maid: Well, let us get the gown over her head for a start.

Jennifer: Alright I will help her sit up.  (Carefully sits Amber up and lifts her arms so to get her arm through the sleeves as the maid manages to get the gown on her and flips her hair so it does not get caught).  I am glad that is over.  Thank you for helping me.

Maid: Not a problem.

Jennifer: (Covers Amber with the blankets).  Are we done?

Maid: That is all Sir Chazz told me to do so we are done.

Jennifer: I will be leaving now thank you.  (Bows to the maid then notices Amber is waking up).  Oh, she’s waking up.

Amber: Huh… What’s going on?

Jennifer: You were asleep, so Chazz brought you to a guest room.  You may go back to sleep it is getting late.

Amber: (Blushes like crazy).  H-he carried me.

Jennifer: Umm yes you had fallen asleep on his lap, so he brought you here.

Amber: Did he see anything embarrassing?

Jennifer: … I do not think so.  I was with him when he brought you here.

Amber: (Sighs in relief).  That is good.

Jennifer: I walked with him here and he told me to help change you and he went to unload the carriage.

Amber: Well that explains how I have different clothes on.

Jennifer: Yes indeed.

Amber: (Smiles kindly at Jennifer).  Thank you.

Jennifer: No problem, at least this time nothing caught on fire.

Amber: Huh on fire?

Maid: Do not worry about it.

Jennifer: ahh yes never mind….

Amber: (Gives a confused look).  Alright then?

Jennifer: Very well, is there anything else you need.

Amber: Umm yes, could I speak to you alone?

Jennifer: Of course!  (Nods to the maid and she leaves).  What is it?

Amber: Come sit on the bed.

Jennifer: (Sits on the bed).  Is something bothering you?

Amber: (Sits closer to Jennifer).

Jennifer: (Gives a confused look).  Hmm?

Amber: (Suddenly grabs Jennifer’s chest).

Jennifer: (Blushes a lot and in shock as she covers her chest).  Amber why did you do that!

Amber: Well, I already said why.

Jennifer: no, you did not!

Amber: Well, I figured Chazz likes a smaller girl so that is why.

Jennifer: That is no reason to suddenly just grab me like that!

Amber: Well, I wanted to see why, they are so cute.

Jennifer: Cute, what do you mean cute it’s just my chest I mean it’s not very big!

Amber: That is what makes it cute.

Jennifer: But why grab my chest?

Amber: Well, I am not sure how to explain it but also do you like Chazz?

Jennifer: (Looks away blushing flusteredly still).  Oh umm… maybe slightly.

Amber: (Crosses her arms seeing through her).  Come on….

Jennifer: What gave it away?

Amber: Nothing, I just wanted to ask since you seemed upset when I sat on his warm lap.

Jennifer: Oh, umm I am sorry, but we are not together.

Amber: I did not say a thing about being together now, did I?

Jennifer: (Looks down sadly with a sigh).  No.

Amber: Why not be honest then?

Jennifer: Well, a lady should not have feelings for her butler.

Amber: Well, there is no rule to at least admit it.  Better than keeping it all inside.

Jennifer: It is still not good for a noble family.  I will be fine; besides I know you and one other who has feelings for him.

Amber: Well then better get moving before someone takes him.

Jennifer: No, I will be fine.  Whatever makes him happy and then I will be happy for him.

Amber: You cannot do that.

Jennifer: Why not?

Amber: Because everyone who says that becomes sadder and they cry and cannot be happy.

Jennifer: But I would rather the other who like him be happy.  I do not want to bring sadness to other.

Amber: But what about you?

Jennifer: (Looks down with a sad smile).  I will be fine.  I will be happy for them.  a bit sad yes but I will move on and find a hobby or something to protect.

Amber: No, no if you want to feel more at ease at least tell him.  At least you would not have a regret.  Forget class or your status what is more important, your status or your happiness?

Jennifer: His happiness, maybe I will tell him but if he likes another that is fine.  I will accept it.

Amber: At least you had said something and gotten it off your chest.

Jennifer Yes but I am not sure I want to hear the answer.

Amber: Would you rather hear an answer or nothing at all?

Jennifer: (Puts her face in her hands as she tears up).  I am not sure.

Amber: Well, when you figure that out you will be happy.

Jennifer: Yes, I guess so… Thank you.

Amber: (Pats Jennifer’s head).  A girl’s heart is a fragile place.  You must take care of it.

Jennifer: The person I will always care for the most is my sister.  As long as I have her, I am happy with life either way.

Amber: Which is fine but what would happen if she finds love?

Jennifer: She is too young which reminds me I need to make that clear to a certain someone.

Amber: She can still love though.  Just because she cannot act yet does not mean she cannot love someone.

Jennifer: (There is a glare in her expression but more to herself).  She better not act.

Amber: True, true.

Jennifer: What about you and your feelings for him?

Amber: I have told him, and I was rejected.

Jennifer: Why did he reject you?

Amber: He did not feel the spark though we were so close he just never saw me in that way.  I was deeply saddened but at the same time I was happy I could tell because I could accept it and keep moving on without regret.

Jennifer: Oh, I am sorry.

Amber: No, no it’s fine.

Jennifer: He did seem happy to see you again.

Amber: (Starts to cry).  He was, wasn’t he?

Jennifer: (Holds Amber comfortingly).  Maybe his feelings has changed for you, you could ask him again.

Amber: I do not think so.

Jennifer: I am sorry I wish I could help but I can be there for you as a friend.

Amber: Just knowing that he is happy and well now is good enough.  I love him, I always will.

Chazz: (Now finished with unloading the carriage has made his way to Amber’s room and listens outside of the hallway).

Jennifer: I cannot believe he has three girls that care deeply for him.  It kind of makes a mess and problem with things.

Amber: It kind of does but it does also make things kind of fun.

Jennifer: Fun how?

Amber: If we all agreed to like him at the same time it would make things easier.

Jennifer: What if he chooses none of us or even tired to date all of us.  (Blushes but shakes her head no not liking the thought).

Amber: I would be alright with that.  In a way we would make it work.

Jennifer: I am not so sure about that….

Amber: Hmm?

Jennifer: What?

Amber: Oh nothing, nothing.

Jennifer: (Gives Amber a confused look).

Amber: Well, we will see how Chazz feels another time.

Jennifer: Indeed.

Amber: In the future but right now I need to rest.

Jennifer: Yes, you had a long day.

Amber: It feels like I had.

Jennifer: (Gives Amber a hug).  Trust me you did.  I will let you sleep, goodnight and thank you for the talk… I think it helped.

Amber: Thank you for the shelter.  I will be leaving tomorrow after breakfast.

Jennifer: You are welcome back anytime.

Amber: Thank you.

Jennifer: not a problem, goodnight.  (Gets up and leaves out the door as Amber falls back to sleep seeing Chazz waiting in the hall and walks over to him with a slight blush).  Hello Chazz….

Chazz: Hello milady, are you alright?

Jennifer: Yes, I am fine.

Chazz: Are you sure, your face is red.

Jennifer: It is nothing, forget about it.

Chazz: As you say.

Jennifer: (Looks down sadly).  Yes, shall we go?

Chazz: As you command milady.

Jennifer: Indeed.  (Walks ahead of Chazz to hide her emotions as Chazz casually walks behind seeing Tori in the hallway).  Oh, hello Tori, is Kairi sleeping?

Tori: Yes, she is though it took a while to get her off of me.

Jennifer: … What do you mean?

Tori: she would not let go of me.

Jennifer: I see… Thank you for taking care of her.

Tori: No problem.

Jennifer: Good hmm where is Hiki then?

Hiki: (Appears behind Jennifer and tickles her).  Right here!

Jennifer: (Starts laughing).  Gah no stop!  (Laughs more).

Hiki: (Stops tickling Jennifer after surprising her).

Tori: Well, I will be heading back now, see you all later.  (Disappears).

Jennifer: Goodbye Tori, so Hiki what did you do when we got back?

Hiki: I just helped.

Jennifer: Good it has been a long day.  I think we all could use some rest.

Hiki: (Tickles Jennifer again).

Jennifer: No stop!  (Laughs again but this time Hiki continues tickling as Jennifer tries to run away which ends up just making circles around Chazz).

Chazz: Ahem Hiki that is enough.

Hiki: (Stops in her tracks).

Jennifer: (Stops running).  Yay I am free, oh but time for payback!  (Turns around tackling Hiki instead).

Chazz: Milady that is unladylike.

Jennifer: (Stops and pouts).  Aww no fun.

Chazz: It would be better if I tickled her, and you assisted me.

Hiki: Yes… Wait what?

Jennifer: (Gives a confused and scared look not sure of which he speaks of).  Wait what?

Chazz: (Grabs Hiki by the arms).

Hiki: Ma-master what are you doing?

Jennifer: Wait you are helping me?

Chazz: No I am tickling her and you are helping me.

Jennifer: Hmm I am not sure.  (Looks at Hiki than gives a sly smile and grabs Chazz).  Tickle him!

Hiki: Alright!

Jennifer: (Tickles Chazz’s sides).  Do you know where he is most ticklish.

Hiki: His feet and neck.

Jennifer: I will get the feet!  (Lifts Chazz’s leg making him fall over).

Hiki: (Giggles).  Payback master!

Jennifer: Oops sorry for knocking you over.

Chazz: you are sorry?

Jennifer: No not really if I am truthful.

Chazz: I know.

Jennifer: (Begins to tickle Chazz’s feet).

Chazz: (Starts to laugh like crazy).

Jennifer: Hiki hold him down so he cannot get away!  (Laughs as she has fun continuing to tickle his feet).

Hiki: I am.  (Tickles Chazz’s neck as he laughs becoming out of breath).

Jennifer: (Stops tickling).  We should stop it sounds like he is out of breath… Hmm no.  (Continues tickling).

Chazz: (Cannot stop laughing uncontrollably).

Jennifer: (Stops after another moment).  Alright… I think I am done.

Hiki: (Continues to tickle Chazz for a little bit longer as Jennifer holds Chazz down until she is done).

Chazz: (As Hiki stops Chazz lays there in defeat as he catches his breath).

Jennifer: I think girls won this round!  (Lifts her hand for a high five from Hiki who high fives her back).  That was fun.  (Offers her hand to help Chazz up pulling him up but once Chazz’s hand touches her hand she blushes looking away). Umm yes fun.

Chazz: Not for me very much.

Jennifer: Well, I will make it up to you somehow.

Chazz: Please do.

Jennifer: Alright, any ideas on how?

Chazz: No, no I have nothing at the moment.

Jennifer: Very well and thank you Hiki for teaming up with me.

Hiki: Anything to get master to not be so serious all the time.

Jennifer: It is good to laugh and get him to have a bit of fun too.

Hiki: Master does not do that much though he has his moments.

Jennifer: I see, well it will be our job to make him smile more.

Hiki: Hmm he is kind of happy.

Jennifer: Well, Hiki we will try and keep him happy.

Hiki: (Smile happily).  Yes Jenny!

Jennifer: Great but I think that is enough for now.  It is getting late.

Hiki: Yes, yes let us rest.  (Shakes her head as she yawns).

Jennifer: (Yawns as well).  Yes, we are all tired.

Hiki: (falls asleep on Chazz rather quickly not being exactly what Jennifer had meant).

Jennifer: That was quick….  (Yawns again).

Chazz: I guess I am carrying again.

Jennifer: It maybe both of us, I am tired as well.

Chazz: Ss you wish milady.  (Carries Hiki on his back with one arm holding her and picks Jennifer up with the other).

Jennifer: (Blushes).  Um I-I only was kidding.  I can walk, I am not that tired.  I can get there on my own.

Chazz: As you wish milady.  (Puts Jennifer down).

Jennifer: Thank you.  (Takes a step forward falling back eyes drooping half asleep).

Chazz: I will hold your back to make sure you do not fall down.

Jennifer: Thank you, I guess I am more tired than I thought but you already have Hiki to hold I can manage though.

Chazz: I will just be helping to make sure you do not fall.  That does not require much?

Jennifer: Very well, thank you.  (Stumbles but walk forward).

Chazz: Oh, oh be careful.

Jennifer: (Looks down at a thought as her talk with Amber comes to mind).  Chazz can I ask you something?

Chazz: Yes, anything you want.

Jennifer: Have you thought of your life after being my butler.  What will you do…? And who you will love?

Chazz: Well, my job as your butler is eternal since I serve your family but if I did stop being your butler….  Hmm I would probably travel around since I always loved traveling as for love I am not sure.

Jennifer: I see well you are free to do as you please and I know of three girls who care deeply for you.

Chazz: Well, I cannot, I am your butler.  I must do my job as for love I am thankful for the feelings but for now I am not sure if I could handle love.

Jennifer: What I meant… I did not mean me… I care for you deeply… But I could never….  (Starts tearing up, glad her back is towards Chazz).

Chazz: No, no do not take my words to heart.  They weren’t directed to you… Hiki was saying things in her sleep again.

Jennifer: Oh um, well then forget what I said.

Chazz: As you wish milady.

Jennifer: What was Hiki saying?

Chazz: Something about love and how nice tickles are.

Jennifer: (Gives a small smile).  Even when asleep she makes sense.

Chazz: Very.

Jennifer: Yes, but I will keep this as my word.  If you felt, you had to leave I would not stop you and if you wished to stay then I will try and make it, so you are happy here.  That is all I want.

Chazz: Well milady I am here then, I already am happy.  You do not need to try harder to get the same result.  I always am happy when I am serving you and miss Kairi but thank you for the offer.

Jennifer: I am glad… That is all I want.

Chazz: Well then, I am happy to make you happy.

Jennifer: Good.  (Arrives at her door).

Chazz: Well, here we are.

Jennifer: Yes, I suppose this is goodnight then.

 Chazz: I believe so.

Jennifer: One more thing….  (Turns to Chazz slightly blushing and pondering on something).

Chazz: Hmm?

Jennifer: (Reaches for Chazz’s face kissing him on the cheek then goes back to where she was opening the door managing to do that much for right now).  … Goodnight….

Chazz: (Looks shocked and dumbfounded).  Umm goodnight to you too milady.

Jennifer: (Looks away blushing then heads into her room looking one more time with a small smile.  She then closes the door immediately regretting but sighs falling into her bed).  Oh well I will worry more tomorrow….

Chazz: (Stand there in shock for another moment dumbfounded to what had just happened but then walks to his room laying Hiki into the bed as he tries to collect his thoughts).  What the heck just happened?  … Maybe she appreciates everything I do so that why?  … I thought she said she loved someone it couldn’t be me… Not possible.
