As the next morning is around an hour away the sky not fully dark but still dusk. Everyone sleeps peacefully having had a long night especially in the house where Luka and Lulu had cried occasionally during the night needing certain things like feeding and diaper changes. They are sleeping now in Ziona and Zahir’s arms and the ones downstairs hearing some of the cries but rest peacefully now as well with everything quiet and restful. Chazz, Hiki and Tori are sleeping in the cabin that Shizen had created for them since there was not a clear place for them to sleep. Since Chazz was used to waking up early, he decides to walk around the island a bit in order to get used to the location and the lay out after managing to get Hiki off of him. After heading outside and walking around a bit he notices a sail of a boat at sea, but the sail doesn’t seem right as not many ships are supposed to be passing by this area.
Chazz: Today is going to be a very interesting now isn’t it but I still worry now.
Jennifer: (Decided to take a walk being not far from the house but in the forest, area feeling the nature around her. She feels footsteps not far wondering who would be up so early and sees Chazz walking and smiles that it’s him). Oh, hello Chazz, I suppose you could not sleep well as well?
Chazz: (Notices Jennifer as he is about to pass by). Oh, good morning madam and no I could sleep fine, just so used to waking up that I could not stay still. Especially after this last couple of days
Jennifer: (Decides to walk with Chazz). Yes, it has been an interesting couple of days but quite good seeing a family being reunited. It is so heartwarming. (Smiles at how in love Zahir and Ziona are and hoping one day she has the same and Chazz coming into her mind as their mind wonders).
Chazz: (Waves his hands in front of Jennifer in order to bring her back from fantasy land and laugh just a little bit).
Jennifer: (Snaps out of her daydream blushing heavily being a little flustered). Oh, I am sorry, I guess my mind wondered a little.
Chazz: Oh, it is fine, you do that often, so it is alright. (It is clear he’s messing with Jennifer as he laughs a little more).
Jennifer: (Pouts with her voice filled with sarcasm). Do not mess with me. Such a nice butler for doing so.
Chazz: I am a good butler if I say so myself. (He smiles and laughs).
Jennifer: Though a little rude if I say so. (Smiles and laughs as well).
Chazz: I am not sure what you are talking about.
Jennifer: Yes, a butler is supposed to attack who he serves? (Thinks back to their first times sparring together and still smiles). Hmm well at least you make up for it.
Chazz: Well, I hope I do since I would like to keep my job thank you very much.
Jennifer: I would never fire you… You mean so much to me so how could I? (Blushes as she looks down).
Chazz: Oh, do you now? How would that be madam? What do you say of a little spar later?
Jennifer: (Tries to get the blush to go away and smile). That sounds good… Chazz can I ask you a question? (Goes back to looking down, not sure if she should ask).
Chazz: (Looks at Jennifer but curious as to what she is going to say). Yes, what is it madam?
Jennifer: (Struggles to figure out how to start this out). What do you think-…? I have been thinking about feelings and wonder what yours are… Will you return her feelings…? Or is it that you are not ready for that…. (Looks down hiding my face in the shadows).
Chazz: (Is shocked but then looks down as he scratches his face). So, you heard… When all that happened… I am not really sure how to feel about Hiki. Yes, I do like her but at the same time I am not sure if it’s the same as she said to me… I guess another thing to figure out is how I feel about this.
Jennifer: I guess so… But she really does love you and… She’s not the only one that needs to confess her feeling… Every time I try to say my feeling to him… I just freeze up and blurt out something silly.
Chazz: To him? Now who is the he and I know she does but I am not sure how to think rather she as a woman or as my spirit. I cannot be blind to the feelings in front of me.
Jennifer: (Is taken off guard a little as she blushes). No, I did not mean… I am sorry to bud into your personal things… It is just… I know how Hiki is feeling right now though she is braver for saying how she feels.
Chazz: It always is but ever braver too still stand with that person while waiting for an answer.
Jennifer: Well, I guess so but… It is hard to say it… Hiki could… So why cannot I…? Maybe because I want the other who likes him to be happy…. I do not want to be a bother… Maybe… I should keep my feelings inside… So, they can be happy and I can be happy for them. (Starts to tear up).
Chazz: Now why would you do that madam? It would only harm you more as you keep those feelings to yourself. You should not lie to yourself at all, you are just denying your happiness that you want and that is not good at all!
Jennifer: (Is surprised then tears up more as she shouts back at Chazz. Her built up emotions coming out). Why can’t I! If I do, then the other two are happy and I can be happy for them. I will not be in the way, and I can try and forget the feeling I have so I can move on as well!
Chazz: (Is surprised as listens to Jennifer). Because if you do than you will regret it for the rest of your life and that is no way to live now.
Jennifer: (Still yells out all my emotions at Chazz as tears fall). It may not be, but I have tried to tell him I love him so many times! A few times in the halls, even Kairi saw my feelings and pushed me to follow them but it’s not that simple. I even tried to tell him when alone in the forest and I cannot even tell him as I talk to him right now! (Her eyes widen to what she had just said backing up a few steps and covering her mouth in shock as tears still fall).
Chazz: (Realizes what she had just said and looks down with the trees shadows covering him). I see… I have caused you harm through your emotions… For that I am sorry. I will take my leave now. (Begins to leave Jennifer’s side).
Jennifer: (Is surprised then looks down grabbing Chazz’s sleeve, her face in the shadows). No… It is not your fault… But at least now you know why I kept my feelings hidden for so long and besides… Hiki is a great person and a great friend to me… So, I want both of you to be happy…. (Looks up with a smile but still tears falling). Do not worry about me… I will be fine…. All I want is for you to be happy so don’t worry… I am fine.
Chazz: (Looks at Jennifer’s eyes and can see the sadness that still lingers within her heart no matter how many times she says she’s fine and he knows she does this quite often). … Even now you’re lying… Why do you keep doing that even now…? I will see you later madam.
Jennifer: I… I understand… You may go… And all I want is your happiness… Excuse me… There is somewhere I need to go as well… Goodbye…. (Turns and walks away down the small forest path doing everything possible to not breakdown until I she is away).
Chazz: I have to think even more now I guess don’t I Hiki?
Hiki: (Comes out from behind a tree). I guess so. (Walks towards the path that Jennifer took as Chazz leaves in the opposite direction).
Jennifer: (Hiki can hear her as she is crying behind a tree near her sitting by it holding her knees to her as she cries into them).
Hiki: (Just listen to Jennifer cry from the other side of the tree Jennifer is on)
Jennifer: (Wipes her eyes trying to calm her emotions as they pour out while talking to herself). I hope you have a happy life with her Chazz… I truly do… But did you have to leave like that… If I hurt, you I am so sorry… But at least now you know… And you can be with Hiki… she is pretty amazing after all and such a good friend… So, I wish you two the best.
Hiki: (Wraps her hand around the tree). Who was going to be happy with whom now?
Jennifer: (Is surprised stumbling back a little almost falling over from where she sits). Hiki!
Hiki: (Pops out fully into view in her dress that she wore the day before since the island is humid). Took you long enough Jenny, like gosh.
Jennifer: I-I didn’t mean to…. (Looks down). I just blurted it out I guess… You are not mad are you…? I do not want to fight you for him… So, I want him to be with you so you can be happy…. Besides I think you are in the lead since he did not leave when you confessed… I can just move on… Do not worry, I just want you two to be happy…. (Looks down still crying as she talks).
Hiki: (Looks down as well doing her best to keep a smile as she holds one of her arms tightly). I don’t think he left because of the confession but that you were hurting yourself all because of this. His thought is to leave so that you wouldn’t hurt yourself anymore….
Jennifer: Well, I am not trying to… I just want him to be happy… I am fine so he does not need to worry… And I do not want to fight if that means I lose a friend along the way. (Tears still fall from her eyes as she forces a smile facing Hiki).
Hiki: (Slaps Jennifer as tears run down her face like a river suddenly as if her emotions snapping). Stop pretending that everything is alright…! No more saying that you are fine, and don’t you think I want my master happy too as long as I can be next to him. I couldn’t be happier as a couple or not… Even if he didn’t like me in that way, I know he still cares about me deeply but right now he isn’t sure how to think because he didn’t know all the pain you were enduring because of what me being happy with him did to you. Don’t get me wrong I would want that more than anything, but you are my friend too and I can’t stand this sight either. Stop acting like everything is fine when in reality all you want to do is just hold him close and cry your eyes out…. How about we both fight for his affection but not in the way you are thinking. We will see over time who gets his love. We won’t pull any dirty tricks or anything like that just act like our normal selves. If one of us gets his heart, then so be it. No hard feelings because as long as the person we care about the most is happy than we should be too no matter how it may sting sometimes! (While saying all that she had needed to she holds Jennifer’s hands as she was speaking).
Jennifer: (Is shocked when getting slapped holding a hand to her cheek. She then starts to cry more hugging Hiki tightly). I-I am sorry I keep saying that… I just do not want to fight you… But you are right… Let’s wait for what his heart decides… And just enjoy the times now and let’s not lose a friend along the way.
Hiki: So, don’t go off writing yourself off just yet alright? We can small advances not huge ones since we don’t want to push him away instead.
Jennifer: Alright I will try, and I think you’re better at that since I am not really good at flirting. (Laughs a little while wiping her eyes).
Hiki: True but you have your own type of charm really. (Starts to laugh as well).
Jennifer: (Still hugs Hiki as her emotions calm down). Hiki… Thank you for slapping some sense into me… I kind of needed it.
Hiki: No problem, I feel like I needed to let it all out since I couldn’t take it anymore. (She smiles as she wipes the last of her tears away).
Jennifer: Thank you for being such a great friend. Before I had been friends with other nobles yes but none, I talked to much besides my sister of course… I consider you my best friend so thank you so much. I could not ask for a greater friend.
Hiki: (Smiles). Well let’s start heading towards the house then. (Goes arm and arm with Jennifer). Friends?
Jennifer: (Walks with Hiki with a smile). Of course, you are my friend and always will be… And you are right, people should be starting to wake now. (Smiles and walks with Hiki as the sun starts to rise as if telling the island, it is time to wake up).
Ziona: (Upstairs in the house she sleeps peacefully in Zahir’s arms holding Luka and Lulu with him. She sleeps being exhausted from yesterday being weak from the labor but has a smile as she sleeps).
Zahir: (Is still sleeping with Ziona and the twins as he slowly wakes up knowing that he couldn’t sleep that well at all).
Ziona: (Snuggles up to Zahir as the twins start to wake. Luka is first who is holding onto Zahir’s shirt and looking up at him and Lulu moves around a little holding onto Zahir and Luka a little. She looks up at Zahir cutely but sleepily with a yawn).
Zahir: (Looks down at his kids as he rocks just a bit so that they do not cry. They both are calmed as Luka smiles and giggles reaching for him and Lulu is a bit shyer when doing so).
Ziona: (Still sleeps peacefully, resting her head on Zahir’s shoulder).
Zahir: (Smiles at them as he brings his shirt closer for Luka to hold). Now let mommy sleep. She is very tired now so shh alright? (As Lulu just stares at him Luka makes weird little noises as if responding. Just then a light knock is heard on the door, and he hears the knock as he calls out). Come in but Ziona is still sleeping.
Shizen: (Opens and closes the door quietly). Good she needs rest and how are Luka and Lulu? Are they well and how was your first night with them?
Zahir: (Sighs as Luka still plays around but now with Lulu). Well, we didn’t get much sleep, but I took care of them when they didn’t need to eat so Ziona could rest more. In my guess alright, I think.
Shizen: (Laughs a little). Well, that is normal so you will need to get used to sleeping when they do. But how do you feel about all that has happened since coming back? I have to say I have not seen you smile this much since your wedding day.
Zahir: Well, I’m not sure how to hold all my emotions all at once. I just feel happy to be home and with Ziona… And then this happened. I have even more reasons to smile.
Shizen: I’m happy I could help you get home. It is the least I could do, and it makes me smile seeing such a great new family with a loving mother and protective father.
Zahir: (Laughs and just keeps smiling). I’m only protective because I have dear things to protect.
Shizen: Of course, and I will help make sure the little ones have a future where they do not have to hide who they are… And they are quite adorable. You and Ziona make some cute kids and I’m happy to have them as grandchildren.
Zahir: Well, I’m sure you will do all that you can. I’m sure they will be happy as long as they have each other. I’m sure of it. (Looks at the twins as they seem to be holding hands).
Shizen: (Laughs a little and then smiles going over to look at the twins). I would think so. Twin spirits share a bond so close that they know what the other are thinking and feeling and because of that bond they will live happy lives.
Zahir: Then I could never dream of asking for anything more. All that matters to me is that their happy and smiling.
Shizen: Of course, and that is what will make you and Ziona great parents. (Goes over to Ziona who still sleeps and kneels by the bed). She is stronger than she thinks. It takes a lot of energy to have twins, but she was brave and dealt with it well. (Feels Ziona’s forehead). She is a little warm since her immune system is weakened but she will be fine as long as she does not push herself and eats regularly for herself and to feed her children.
Zahir: I will make sure she does that then.
Shizen: Good then I will see you in a little bit and the others will probably want to know how Ziona and the twins are doing.
Zahir: Well, I’m planning to come down with the twins since I know everyone is going to want to see them again so no worries.
Shizen: Good, I will get going for now. (Begins to leave). And also, you are still that little scorpion to me. You just had little scorpions of your own. (Smiles at Zahir and then closes the door after seeing Luka and Lulu snuggle up to each other against Zahir as they rest).
Zahir: (Sighs as he tries to get Ziona comfortable without him being the pillow as well as trying to keep the twins from crying). I knew she would say something like that but oh well. Right now, you two are my little spirits.
As Zahir gets ready for the morning and taking care of Ziona and the twins everyone else is downstairs. Kura starts to cook breakfast as Kairi watches and tries to help. Yami just sits on the ground against the wall eyes closed as he rests. Jennifer and Hiki make it back and Jennifer looks at Chazz who is right outside of the house knowing she acted out and yelled at him from no fault of his own and walks over to him.
Jennifer: (Looks down a little taking a few moments to bring herself to say what is needed). I… I am sorry I yelled at you… I was upset since I had held in my feelings for so long… I had no right to yell but all the emotions I kept building up inside… I guess they just spilled out of me… But don’t worry. (Looks at Hiki then at Chazz with a slight smile). Hiki did a good job of slapping some sense into me.
Chazz: (Is silent for a moment as he is still processing everything that is going on at the but comes back to reality as Hiki hits his shoulder once Jennifer is done talking). Oh… Umm do not think much of it madam… I am just sorry I had caused you harm when you were keeping it all to yourself but if you say so lady Jennifer. (Looks at Hiki than Jennifer). Shall we head inside then to start breakfast for everyone since I pretty sure they are hungry.
Hiki: (Shakes her head yes as she walks towards the door taking Chazz’s hand as a result to make sure he goes inside as well).
Jennifer: (Smiles and hesitantly holds Chazz’s other hand with a blush and smile). Thank you for understanding and just know whatever you choose is fine just promise to follow your heart and do what makes you happy. Until then we are happy just as things are.
Chazz: If you both sure than I am alright as well for the moment.
Hiki: (Giggles teasefully). Good but we still need an answer one day at least or else we will keep bothering you with affection. Or would you prefer the both of us together hmm master?
Chazz: (Blushes heavily). H-Hiki do not… Talk like that
Hiki: Aww your face is so red master.
Jennifer: (Blushes heavily as well but cannot help but smile and laughs a little as they go inside).
Kairi: (Looks over and smiles brightly). Hello, welcome back!
Kura: Ah hello there, could I ask a favor from one of you to take over cooking.
Hiki: (Raises Chazz’s hand to volunteer him). He can Kura.
Tori: (Is there as well sitting on the couch). So, you’re going to volunteer master to cook?
Hiki: Well, he can cook pretty well Tori, you know this.
Jennifer: I can help as well if you need me to.
Kura: Thank you, we will be back soon. Yami and I are taking Kairi out to train and learn some dark element powers since she has not gone into that skill very much yet.
Yami: (Gets up and stretches his arms a little). Yeah, why not.
Kairi: (Looks excited as she jumps up). Ooh really? Yay I cannot wait! I wonder what those abilities are.
Kura: Well, we will teach you.
Hiki: Wouldn’t Tori be helpful as well then if you’re going with dark element?
Tori: True it would be good, but it works better to train with your own spirits, not with ones with the same element.
Kura: Well, if Tori would like to come along and help be my guest since little Yami is not a very good teacher. He still has a lot to learn himself.
Yami: (Pouts grumpily). Hey not cool and I’m not little.
Kairi: (Looks at Tori as if saying please in her eyes).
Tori: (Sighs). I guess I’m coming along to help then. I hope you learn something at least.
Kairi: Yay and I will do my best, I promise!
Jennifer: (Laughs a little). You always do so I think there is no problems there.
Kura: Yes, that is true even with things that you have trouble with like sparring and dark element abilities. Speaking of which we might as well work on that a little as well.
Yami: Yeah, I think I can help with that too and Tori I want a rematch.
Kura: (Sighs). You always want a rematch.
Tori: (Sighs as Hiki giggles a little and Chazz heads into the kitchen to start cooking). You always really do Yami, but we can do that another time. Right now, we are going to focus on Kairi.
Yami: Fine but I’m holding you to that.
Kairi: Alright let’s go, I cannot wait! Bye see you for breakfast! (Waves at Jennifer, Chazz and Hiki as she gets to the door to leave with Tori, Kura and Yami).
Jennifer: Yes, have fun Kairi and good luck.
Tori: (Gets rushed out as Hiki goes into the kitchen with Chazz to start making the food).
Kairi: (Skips happily as they walk down the path). I cannot wait!
Yami: (Just walks down the path casually with his hands in his pockets).
Kura: Yes, and Tori thank you for coming along, though another dark spirit is always welcome to help teach our elements abilities. Besides I think she is happy you are here as well. I admit you two are cute to watch when together. (Smirks and laughs a little).
Tori: (Sighs). You’re starting to sound like Hiki now with all that. Yeah, I can help teach what I know from Nagi.
Kura: I learned a little from Nagi as well though I usually read books about those powers. That’s how a learned most of what I know since I was still very young.
Yami: I learned from Kura until I was alone… Then I just figured out some while on the street. (Sighs a little looking down trying to not think of that part of his past by shrugging it off).
Kura: (Looks down as well doing the same). But what matters is I am here to protect you again.
Yami: Yeah… But from now on I will be the one protecting you.
Kura: You know I will protect you and Kairi no matter what anyways.
Yami: Not if I protect you guys first!
Tori: (Laughs a little bit). Yes, yes everyone is protecting someone now let’s all think about the main goal here now which is Kairi.
Kura: (Laughs a little). That is true and that is why we are teaching her to defend herself if needed. We will be there to protect her with everything we have but she needs to be able to herself still.
Kairi: (Looks around not sure where she is going so, she runs back). Where are we going?
Kura: Zahir showed us a place not far that is fairly dark even during the day, so I think that is a good place to start.
Yami: Oh yeah… I forgot where that was.
Kura: Of course, you did so follow me. (Runs very quickly with a streak of shadow behind her Kairi smiling and doing the same).
Yami: Really, we have to run! They better go slower than last time. (Sighs being a little annoyed and runs as well absorbing a little darkness energy so that he can keep up).
Tori: (Sighs as he catches up to Kairi and Kura with the same speed with light and dark energy flowing behind him).
Kairi: (Looks at the light and dark energy behind Tori oddly and then runs alongside Tori with a big smile as they reach the deeper part of the forest that is more shaded than any other parts).
Kura: (Stops in a more open area along with everyone who had followed). This should be good enough.
Kairi: (Looks around the area being curious).
Yami: (Leans on a tree nearby closing his eyes so he can concentrate on stopping taking energy from around him). Sorry about that had to do that to keep up with you guys.
Tori: (Wiped his face off). It’s alright Yami since it did become a little bit of a race as I caught up as well so it’s understandable
Kura: Well, I would say I won the race then.
Yami: (Looks annoyed). What no fair! We were following you!
Kura: (Smirks). But if it was a race then I won since I was the first one here.
Yami: It’s no fair! I want a rematch!
Kura: even if we did race again, I would still win since you’re slower.
Yami: Hey I can run faster so bring it!
Kura: You can’t even win in a fight against me.
Yami: Yeah, I can! I was just going easy on you because you’re a girl.
Kura: And what’s wrong with being a girl?
Yami: (Pauses and ends up shrugging). Just know that they have to wear stupid dresses and stuff and have germs.
Kura: (Starts to look annoyed and pulls on Yami’s ear). We do not have germs and dresses are not that bad. I will make you wear one if I must.
Yami: (Tries to get Kura to let go). Hey, let go and no way in hell! I’m a boy, not doing that!
Kura: You will if you keep getting on my nerves.
Yami: You asking for a fight then because no way in hell!
Kura: If it’s a fight you want. (Disappears from sight before Yami can react and appears behind him kicking him in the back into a tree. She dusts herself off with this happening repeatedly as Yami attempts to counter).
Kairi: (Giggles while standing next to Tori). This usually happens before training. I kind of got used to it.
Tori: (Sighs). I figured knowing these two this type of thing would happen… So, Kairi what do you need to learn from me?
Kairi: Oh, umm they mentioned a shadow form thing before I guess. That is what they wanted to teach me, but I have only seen them do that once or twice.
Tori: (Thinks to himself for a bit to get a better idea what Kairi is talking about). Shadow dive, was it?
Kairi: (Tries to think of what Kura said to her when training before). Yes, I think it was something like that.
Tori: Well that form is when your whole body becomes like a shadow, able to jump from darkness to darkness. Shadows of buildings or from clothing for example. (Snaps his figures as he creates two shadow blades that pop out from the shadow of a nearby tree). Or you channel your weapon to act like shadows.
Kairi: (Looks at the Tori and the weapons in amazement). Oh, I see! I remember you using that when sparring it looked so cool, but I can turn into a shadow too? Can you do that to, it seems difficult.
Tori: Well, these blades are something only I can do as the form takes different types for everyone so I can’t show you exactly how to do it since yours will be different.
Kairi: Oh alright, do I just concentrate like I do with barriers. I am getting good at that at least. (Makes a darkness barrier form around Tori and giggles a little).
Tori: Something like that since you would have to think about diving into shadows and becoming a part of them with either yourself or your weapons.
Kairi: Alright I can try. (Makes the barrier fade away and then closes her eyes focusing on the shadow on a tree in front of her. She then runs at it in a small burst of shadowy dark energy coming from the impact but Kairi not going through instead she had run into the tree at full speed and lays on the ground dizzy from the impact).
Kura: (Hears the impact and rushes over Yami right behind her). Is everything alright?
Tori: (Sighs as he holds Kairi up in his lap). Yeah, she just tried to flow through a shadow too early and this is the result. She just hit her head but I’m applying a form of first aid so that she doesn’t get too hurt. She should be fine.
Yami: (Laughs a little). Well sorry to miss it.
Kura: Don’t laugh, you did the same your first try. You even got lost in the shadow and our brother had to fish you out of it.
Yami: H-hey not cool! I did not!
Kura: Hmm maybe you blocked it from your memory.
Yami: Did not!
Tori: (Laughs a little bit). My first try was something like that. My arm was only thing able to pass through and I was stuck on a door for at least 30 minutes.
Yami: (Starts to laugh). I wish I could have seen it, it would of been so funny.
Kura: (Knocks Yami over the head). That’s rude, you probably weren’t even born to see it anyways… Though I would have laughed as well.
Yami: (Rubs his head). Not cool.
Tori: Yes, yes, I know it was funny but better that than getting lost now. (He says with a smirk).
Yami: Hey I wasn’t lost I just was… Exploring the shadow.
Kura: (Bursts into laughter). Sure, you were.
Tori: (Begins to laugh as well).
Yami: (Pouts grumpily).
Kairi: (Wakes up finding that she is laying on Tori’s lap and looks up at him grabbing her head having a headache). Uh… What happened?
Tori: Well to put it simply… You ran headfirst into a tree.
Kairi: (Rubs her head as she looks down). Not again… I keep doing that when running to fast… I guess I did not do it right, I am sorry.
Tori: (Still laughs as he rubs Kairi’s head).
Kura: Kairi how about next time try not to run into it. Start by standing next to the tree and focusing on passing through it that way.
Kairi: Oh… Alright. (Smiles and still lays in Tori’s lap with him rubbing her head enjoying being there with a slight blush).
Kura: (Smiles and laughs a little at Tori and Kairi being together like this).
Tori: (Notices that he is still petting Kairi and he isn’t sure what to do next. He is enjoying it but he feels in a subtle way that his life is in danger… Again).
Kairi: (Still blushes but stays in Tori’s lap). I umm should I try again… Or should we head back.
Tori: If you wish to Kairi.
Kura: Hmm perhaps we should practice again after breakfast since the food should be ready soon.
Yami: Sounds good but Tori I’m paying you back for making fun of me.
Kairi: I can try one more time, then we can go. (Sits up a little but still leaning on Tori a bit as she lifts her hand. Looking at it as she concentrates the arm turns shadowy with streams of shadow like dark smoke coming off of it, but it still does not feel natural like she has to focus on Kura and Yami and not herself oddly. She then holds her breath a little looking at a shadow on the ground in front of her and putting her hand through the shadow carefully. Slowly she pulls it back out and then stops holding her breath looking at how her hand and half her arm look looks being amazed).
Tori: (Looks at Kairi’s hand surprised at the fact that she got it so quickly from just two tries though the energy does seem to come from Kura and Yami mostly).
Kura: (Looks surprised as well but then smiles happy to give her the energy to learn). Very good, you are a very fast learner. It’s just like when learning the barrier’s
Kairi: That means I did it right then… Wow it is weird… Like my hand turned into a ghost.
Yami: More like a shadow, I think.
Kura: Yes, though if you practice enough you can do that with your entire body, like this. (Her body turns into a shadowy figure of herself with dark smoke like shadow around her same to how Kairi’s hand looks).
Yami: (Sees Kura do this and does the same with both of their eyes glowing red as they stand beside each other).
Kairi: (Looks at them and her hand being amazed).
Tori: And that’s it really, but to use it in combat is a completely different story as it will change on how the outcome may be.
Kairi: (Looks at Tori then her hand again). Oh alright, it really does look cool. I will practice it whenever I can, I promise. Hmm Tori can you make yourself all shadowy like Kura and Yami or is it with your weapons mostly.
Kura: It’s a basic dark element skill so most dark spirits know it.
Kairi: Well, it’s still pretty amazing looking.
Tori: (Thinks for a second as he disappears into the shadows appearing as dark figure among the many shadows with his blades ready). Though my mine is a bit more advanced.
Yami: Hey don’t show off!
Kairi: (Looks at Tori still in amazement and goes over to try and poke him to see if her hand goes through him. She uses her hand that is shadowy still and her arm connects with Tori as he is in a shadow form and looks up at him with a smile. She then looks at her hand on his chest with a focused look as the shadow on her hand slowly travels up her arm and, in the process, taking a small amount of Tori’s energy but not meaning to feeling the power come from Yami to do so).
Tori: Hmm interesting, looks like you’re learning as this happens… Very interesting indeed.
Kairi: (Still is focused as the shadow still spreads slowly covering all of her).
Kura: Interesting… She absorbed some of your energy in order to learn, very impressive. (She then says quietly to herself). Then why doesn’t it feel natural for her to do so?
Tori: It works since she is trying to get through so absorbing helps speed up the process if she is trying to learn. As long as doesn’t take too much, however.
Kura: (Giggles a little). She would give it back anyways I would think.
Tori: I would hope so. (Laughs as well as he gets rid of the blades).
Kairi: (Once she is covered fully in shadow she breaks out of the focus. Her whole body looking like Kura and Yami’s with what looks like black smoke except her eyes are not glowing red. Instead, they have a brown glow as well as at her center that remains shrouded. Her long black hair flows down her shoulders and back looking darker than the other parts of her, looking pure black as she tries to figure out what just happened). Wha-.
Tori: (Holds Kairi’s hand so that she will not get absorbed into the darkness). At least your nice hair is still the same as always.
Kairi: I-I did it? (Looks at Tori then down at herself with even more amazement. She then looks at her shadowy hand that is held by him making her blush, but it is not noticeable and then up at Tori with a smile, her hand instinctively holding his hand back).
Tori: (Smiles). Alright now try to release yourself from the shadows slowly.
Kairi: Alright I will try…. (Closes her eyes and after a moment or two she gives what energy she took from Tori back to him slowly as if letting go of it. As she does this she starts to go back to normal. The last thing to go back to normal is her hand in his).
Tori: (Begins to slowly leave the shadows with her).
Kairi: (Still holds Tori’s hand and looks into his eyes once opening them, becoming lost in them).
Kura and Yami: (Say nothing, letting them have their moment as Kura writes into one of her books and Yami just relaxes leaning on a tree. Both are not shadows anymore but their eyes are black and red, not hiding them anymore).
Tori: Yes, yes looks like you are getting the hang of the basics at least. (Notices Kairi is spacing out). Hello Kairi, are you there?
Kairi: (Breaks out of her daze and blushes looking away. She puts her hand behind her quickly letting go of Tori being a little flustered). Umm y-yes… Thank you for helping me.
Tori: (Smiles at Kairi). No problem, happy to help out anytime Kairi.
Kura: Shall we head back then? I think it is about time for breakfast.
Yami: Great can’t wait. (Turns to head back as soon as food is mentioned).
Kairi: Oh, umm alright sounds good.
Tori: Sure, but Kairi can talk to you in for moment in private?
Kairi: (Looks up at Tori with concern). Oh umm of course, is something wrong?
Kura: (Nods and starts to walk back to the house with Yami to give Tori and Kairi some privacy).
Tori: (Making sure they are left alone as he sits down on the ground). Kairi, can I ask you a question real quick?
Kairi: (Sits right beside Tori with a kind smile but also looks concerned and curious as well). What is it, is something wrong?
Tori: No not really but do you really think I am strong.
Kairi: (Looks at Tori with a smile and then looks up as she thinks). Of course! Your one of the strongest people I know… And I do not mean like having the most power… It is like having a strong will, like wanting to keep those close to you safe and do anything possible to protect them.
Tori: (Laughs a bit). That may be true, but do you want to know what’s funny? I think you might be even stronger than me….
Kairi: (Frowns a little looking at Tori with confusion). I am? How? I have seen you spar and things like that… You are amazing. (Smiles at Tori with a small blush).
Tori: (Looks down). I’m not so sure anymore… For example, when we were first training you kept making mistakes… But because of those mistakes… You had gained the strength to keep going and stand up to them where I couldn’t for a while… So that’s why I think you are truly strong.
Kairi: I don’t mind making mistakes as long as I don’t hurt anyone because of them. I always thought that if someone fails at something they should get back up so they can reach those goals even if they’re not that good at something at first… The reason I push myself to learn as much as I can is because I want to become strong like you and the others and I can help protect the ones I care about like you do.
Tori: (Laughs as he falls to the ground on his back). I guess I just forgot something as easy as that to know.
Kairi: (Smiles at Tori, crawling over so she can look at him). It is alright… I think it is that you are stronger than you think… But to me you will always do something that seems so simple to you but to me it will be amazing. (Still smiles but blushes more as she looks at Tori).
Tori: (Sighs). I guess I shouldn’t disappoint you now… But maybe indeed I am strong. I have promises to hold after all and… Thank you, Kairi….
Kairi: No problem, I am always here to help you whenever you need it. Beside I think Yami looks up to you though he does not say it. I think he tries fight and surpass you as much as he does Kura, so I think that is his way of saying that. (Giggles a little).
Tori: I figured he was doing something like that since I do act like a brother towards him, and Kura will always hold both of your interests to heart.
Kairi: I think so as well but only difference is that I will not try to surpass you… I am fine just staying beside you. (Smiles with a small blush down at Tori from where she sits, her hair to one side and on Tori’s chest a little messily since it’s a little wavy but out of both of their faces).
Tori: (Looks down at Kairi). I think if you ever did, I would have to get even stronger then to catch up.
Kairi: No, I do not want to fight you so I think even if I did catch you off guard, I would be to scared of hurting you to even try to attack.
Tori: (Can’t help but laugh). Not what I meant but thank you anyways Kairi. Shall we get going then?
Kairi: Umm I guess so…. (Looks at Tori and into his eyes becoming lost in them. She has a look in her eyes that show a little of her emotions and her feelings deep down in her heart for him with a slight blush).
Tori: (As much as he just wants the moment to last forever with Kairi just laying here, he can feel his heart beating very quickly. He feels like it is going to burst into pieces if he were to look into her loving eyes that he adores. That of many things he adores about her, but he gets up against his wishes. He at least holds his hand out for Kairi to help stand up). Shall we lady Kairi?
Kairi: (Nods and then takes Tori’s hand and holds onto it after they stand as they walk together. She leans on him a little enjoying the quiet walk and once walking for a little bit seeing Kura and Yami waiting and leaning on a tree).
Kura: (Notices Tori and Kairi first and smiles). We decided to wait for you but don’t worry we kept our distance.
Tori: (Blushes as he scratches his head and hides Kairi’s hand in his). Thanks for waiting… I guess.
Kairi: (Just smiles brightly and keeps her hold on Tori’s hand).
Kura: (Smiles knowing they have feeling for each other since it’s quite easy to tell but says nothing about it. She just nods and walk on Kairi’s other side).
Yami: (Walks beside Tori not really caring about it too much. He then gets a bad feeling as if being watched or a feeling of something bad happening, looking around not sure why he feels this way).
Tori: (Notices this as well but doesn’t say anything as he looks around with Yami).
Ziona: (Wakes up but tiredly so not fully. There is a feeling that brings her to reality first and that is the twins sleeping in her arms. She holds them close and then sees Zahir getting ready and dressed in a new pair of clothes with a small blush as she giggles a little).
Zahir: (Notices Ziona is awake). Good morning dear and why are you giggling hmm?
Ziona: Good morning… I umm was just enjoying the view I had. (Blushes a little more with a smile).
Zahir: Hmm oh were you now… I would give you another one, but the kids are awake as well, so I am sorry for that.
Ziona: (Looks down at Luka and Lulu with a smile seeing them half asleep looking like they about to sleep again. She brushes their hair away from their faces a little). … Their sleepy though… Their so cute…. (Looks up at Zahir with a big smile and becomes a little teary eyed). I’m never letting go of this… I want this happy feeling I must stay forever.
Zahir: (Goes over to Ziona as he wipes her tears away). Hey, it’s too early to start getting all teary eyed now and plus no more tears alright. It will last forever; I will make sure of it.
Ziona: (Smiles and kisses Zahir). I think so as well because we’re a family… And I will enjoy every minute of it. I just hope that they stay little as long as possible. (Holds Luka and Lulu close to her kissing both of them on the head as they sleep lightly again).
Zahir: (Smiles as he kisses Ziona and pets his kids head as they sleep).
Ziona: (Looks out the window seeing the sunrise). I guess it’s around time for breakfast…. (Looks at Zahir). Will you be going downstairs to eat with our guests…? I’m a little tired so I think I will stay here and give Luka and Lulu some breakfast in a bit. They can visit after that.
Zahir: (Thinks to himself for a moment). I think I will head downstairs to see how everyone is doing then come upstairs with your food so you can eat as well since that is very important as well. I will be back in a bit alright dear?
Ziona: Alright thank you and good luck. I think you will get a lot of comments and questions about Luka and Lulu since their so adorable. (Giggles a little but then yawns looking tired and a little weak).
Zahir: (Gets a little bit worried since he can’t help but do so). I know and I will be back up as fast as I can. Don’t you worry about that.
Ziona: Alright I will be here probably just resting a little. (Smiles kissing Zahir’s cheek and then lays back with Luka and Lulu in her arms and closes her eyes as she rests with her children, holding them close to her).
Zahir: (Smiles as he leaves and starts to head downstairs).
Shizen: (Is the first to see Zahir come down the stairs and greets him with a grin as food is being set out for everyone). How are Ziona and the twins?
Kairi: (Had come back from her training sitting with Tori, Kura and Yami as they get ready to eat seeing Zahir and smiles brightly). Good morning Zahir!
Zahir: (Waves to everyone). Morning everyone and Ziona is alright just a bit tired still. I’m going to bring her some breakfast in a bit after I eat, and the twins are doing fine. They fell back to sleep a while ago, so Ziona is going to feed them when they wake up.
Shizen: Good to hear. (Smiles at Zahir walking with him to the table).
Jennifer: Breakfast is ready so dig in. There is plenty to eat so there should be plenty for Ziona to have as well.
Kairi: Ooh and maybe we can say hi later. Luka and Lulu are so cute!
Chazz: (Helps finish up set food out with Jennifer and Hiki).
Zahir: (Sits down beside Shizen).
Tori: (Begins to eat his plate of food quietly keeping to himself).
Zahir: Maybe but you will have to wait until later since Ziona is still tired so wait until she is rested up alright?
Kairi: Alright I can wait until then. Oh, I learned a new trick so I can practice that until then.
Jennifer: Really what did you learn?
Kairi: I learned how to do this thing where I can turn into a shadow sort of. (Concentrates on her hand making it shadowy like before but it takes a few moments, and she has to hold onto Kura to borrow energy from her).
Jennifer: (Looks at Kairi’s hand being curious). Wow that is pretty cool, good job Kairi.
Shizen: Hmm quite impressive for a beginner to learn though something about it seems a little off for a odd reason.
Tori: Yeah, I was shocked myself when she showed me. She was learning it much faster than I expected. It was definitely something.
Zahir: That’s great to hear that you were learning something new.
Kura: She is very determined, that’s for sure.
Kairi: Thank you but really, I just want to be strong like everyone else here so I can help protect too.
Jennifer: And I couldn’t be prouder of you for trying.
Kairi: (Has a big smile). Thank you, sis!
Chazz: (As he sits down, he tries to gain everyone’s attention). Umm everyone there has been something that has been bothering me.
Hiki and Tori: (Have a confused expression as they look at Chazz).
Zahir (Gives a confused look as well).
Hiki: What is it master?
Kairi: (Gives a confused look and so do Kura and Yami).
Shizen: We are listening. What has been on your mind?
Jennifer: (Looks confused as well but also concerned from a feeling she is getting with Shizen). Is something wrong Chazz?
Chazz: (Sighs). In a way yes… This morning when I was taking a stroll around the island, I saw a boat that had stayed a distance away from the island. For some reason I have had a bad feeling ever since I saw it as it did not seem like a nature or water boat…
Shizen: (Thinks to herself trying to figure out what kind of boat it was). All elements have their own symbols and colors on each boat. Could you see a symbol on the sail or at least the color that will give a idea of whose boat it is.
Yami: (Recalls getting a bad feeling earlier). It explains the bad feeling I’ve been having.
Chazz: Not as well since it was still early before sun rise and I couldn’t see a flag or anything of the sort….
Zahir: (Starts to think but as he comes to a conclusion he runs upstairs to Ziona).
Shizen: (Sees Zahir run up and stands looking serious). This may not be good, so we need to prepare-.
(Suddenly a big flaming rock goes crashing through the window and damaging the wall as well).
Kura and Yami: (Yami shields Kairi as Kura sets up a barrier to block the debris).
Jennifer: (Backs up grabbing her bow and aiming for anything she sees being on guard).
Shizen: (Yells at everyone with a sense of urgency as she gives them cover). Everyone out now!
Chazz: (He, Hiki and Tori run out with their swords appearing from thin air as they make their weapons from their energy).
Kura: (Follows out quickly making a barrier and pathway for Kairi and Yami outside).
Shizen: (Is the last one out making sure everyone is safe then looks to the house hoping Zahir and his family are safe as Jennifer stands on guard with her bow ready).
Zahir hears a scream from Ziona as he rushes up the stairs. The house shakes from the fire that came through the house and he starts to speed up. He draws his staff sword as he gets into Ziona and his room, and he sees Ziona huddled in the corner trying to protect Luka and Lulu’s by covering them with her body. Her back is to a fire spirit who is ready to strike her down with a red sword who had broken through the window. Zahir enters the room very quickly as he sees his family danger and his anger take over as he runs up behind the guard. He doesn’t give him the chance to respond as his blade goes through the guard’s chest splashing blood onto himself).
Ziona: (Is still holding Luka and Lulu tightly facing the wall with eyes closed tight being scared as tears fall. She shields her kids with herself as they cry).
Zahir: (The guard disappears into energy particles as Zahir gets to Ziona). Ziona! It’s alright now dear.
Ziona: (Hears Zahir and quickly goes into his arms as their children still cry as she holds them close crying herself). Zahir… Thank you. (Notices the blood on Zahir but ignores it wanting to feel safe in Zahir’s arms so she can calm down her panic).
Zahir: (Pets her head). I know, I know, and I will protect you.
Ziona: I will help protect them no matter what. (Looks at Zahir then at Luka and Lulu trying to calm them down).
Zahir: (Smiles). I know you will but staying in the house isn’t as safe, but I will make it safe. You stay here with the kids as I protect it from the outside.
Ziona: (Nods). I will come outside with you. I agree it’s not safe I just… I can’t really run… I tried but my legs gave out when that guy came through the window… I’m sorry I can’t help. (Looks down a little).
Zahir: Well than stay here. I will make sure that you stay safe. I will even get someone to put a barrier up so just stay here and rest for now. When you can move let me know alright. I will keep you and the kids safe so please. (His hold on Ziona tightens as he says this holding back many emotions).
Ziona: (Looks at Zahir as tears fall being stubborn). no… I’m coming with…? no matter what I’m staying by your side… please Zahir…. (Her expression is begful not wanting to be away from Zahir and scared is of losing him).
Zahir: (finds it hard to deny his wife but knows she will be danger). Ziona… I’m not leaving you alone ever again. I promise but please for the sack of the children just stay inside. I will be right outside by this window. (Points to a nearby window). I will always be right there so you can watch over me.
Ziona: (Looks at Luka and Lulu knowing Zahir is right so nods kisses Zahir). You’re right… But please come back safely… I will watch you from the window… And I will try to keep Luka and Lulu calm to, so they don’t cry and make even more come after you… Just be safe.
Shizen: (Heard yelling to them from outside as she fights). Get out of there the downstairs is on fire and spreading fast! Dammit hurry Zahir!
Ziona: Fire…? (Sees smoke rising from the first floor looking worried holding Luka and Lulu tight).
Zahir: (Gets an angry look as he holds Ziona up with the kids and jumps out the window as the house gets engulfed by fire).
Ziona: (Is shocked screaming a little as she holds onto the twins tightly to cover them protectively on instinct as this happens).
Shizen: (Looks at Zahir holding Ziona who holds the twins and looks relieved as she fights some fire guards). Thank goodness.
Zahir: (Gets his tails out since he refuses to put Ziona down since she is still weak from yesterday). But where too now!
Shizen: Right now, we are surrounded. We are trying to save the house but there are so many. (As she slashes many fire guards that struggle against her).
Jennifer: (Fires her bow at some of the spirits keeping to long range attacks to watch everyone’s backs).
Kura: (Uses a barrier pushing Kairi behind her so she is safe as Kairi tries to help with the barrier).
Yami: (Slashes guards with his two knives fighting in front of Kairi and Kura to protect them).
Chazz: (He, Hiki and Tori are fighting in the forest and near the village to help protect everyone as sighs of light of dark energy pass through the forest).
Zahir: They want to harm my home than fine but my family they are going to wish that they hadn’t. (Sits Ziona done by a tree as he pulls out his staff sword and puts a small barrier around her so that no one can harm her and the kids. He fights in front of her in a protective anger to defend them).
Ziona: (Holds her children protectively as she looks at Zahir fight, worry overwhelming her not wanting him to get hurt). Be careful… Please.
Shizen: We will do what we can to help. (Takes down a large group of fire guards).
Jennifer: (She shouts as she looks for higher ground to fire). How did they find us though?
Shizen: I guess we were tracked but it takes a lot for fire spirits to go on a boat.
Zahir: (Takes down many of the guards very quickly as he readies for more with a rage in his eyes). I don’t care why they are here, but I know they are leaving in a casket.
Shizen: Very well. (Slashes many guards as she runs through the crowd of them to try and thin their numbers).
Yami: (Continues to fight giving it all that he’s got with a grin). I don’t care how many of you there are bring it!
Meanwhile back in the village down the large hill.
Nara: (Directs villagers to a safe hidden location as she fends off guards with Raku. She blocks a few guards with a one-handed double-sided sword she had picked up with the lower part of her body taking the form of a snake making her more agile in what seems to be her natural form). Well, it looks like this will be a busy morning.
Raku: (With his claw like scales on his arms helping to block as he slashes at the guards holding some back). Looks like it.
Nara: Well, it can’t be helped but everyone is almost to the safe house so we should be able to hold out for a while. Besides we must teach them not to mess with us. (Smirks as she strikes a few guards then blocks a few more).
Raku: True we must show them the difference from last time.
Nara: True. (Gets caught off guard barely dodging but her hair is cut a little and sees the hair fall). You… You did not just cut my hair! (Her tone is angry and a bit evil as if about to snap and lose control).
Raku: Oh boy, they made a mistake now. (Sighs as he fights off other guards).
Nara: (Her eyes change to purple serpent eyes as well as gaining other snake like features as she rushes at many guards taking them all out before they can even react). No one touches my hair!
Raku: Oh boy, guess I can leave the guards to her then. No need for me to get involved.
Nara: (Continues to fight at the same strength in her rage as the last of the villagers go to safety).
Back at Zahir and Ziona’s place everyone struggles against many guards, but they seem stronger than last time for some reason.
Ziona: (Sees Zahir struggle a little thinking quickly looking at Luka and Lulu getting an idea that she doesn’t like but knowing they would be safer that way. She looks over to Kairi who helps Kura with a barrier nearby). Kairi… I need to ask you a favor… Come here please.
Kura: (Nods to reassure Kairi she can hold her own). Go ahead Kairi, I can hold it.
Kairi: (Nods and kneels next to Ziona). What is it?
Ziona: (Looks at her children and tears begin to fall). I want you to take Luka and Lulu and run.
Kairi: (Is shocked not sure at first what Ziona is asking of her). W-what
Ziona: (Kisses her children on the heads then hesitantly hands the twins to Kairi). … They will be safer that way… So please… Before I change my mind.
Kairi: I-if you are sure…. (Nods and looks at Zahir who’s fighting right in front of them to defend).
Zahir: (Sighs wishing his wife would go with to find somewhere safer but nods trusting his children’s safety to Kairi). We are going to make sure they have a home to come back too… Don’t stop running until you found a place to hide with them. I would prefer your spirits to go with so that you have more protection.
Kairi: (Nods taking the twins in her arms and stands). I can handle it… I promise I will do everything to keep them safe. (Looks at Kura and Yami). You two stay here, they need help. I will be fine.
Kura and Yami: (Both look back at her in protest). But Kairi-.
Kairi: (Gives a stubborn expression shaking her head no). No, they need you more so stay.
Kura and Yami: (Both look unsure being protective).
Kairi: (Gives a small reassuring smile). It is alright, do not worry. I can handle it.
Kura: (Sighs). Kairi… As much as I don’t like it… I know you are right.
Yami: (As he fights trying to sound less concerned but his attempt to do so is not very good). Just promise not to get into trouble…. Fights to fun to miss out on anyways.
Kura: (Sighs). That’s not what you want to say is it?
Yami: … Shut it.
Ziona: Just find somewhere safe to hide and keep them safe. (Looks at her children with a small smile and a few tears). I want them to be protected no matter what happens.
Kairi: Why don’t you come with?
Ziona: I can’t run so it’s better this way to not slow you down… I will be fine… Now go… Please. (Looks down a little placing her hands on her children one last time as if saying goodbye not wanting to be separated from them even for a moment but knows it’s better this way).
Zahir: (Kisses his kid’s heads as well as Kairi’s for doing this when he has the chance to). I promise when we are done here, we will be on our way to find you I promise. If anything, just use a shadow technique to help go against shadows or some cover to make it easier aright? (A big clash of swords can be heard from town as another set of guards arrive).
Kairi: No matter what I promise to keep them safe. (With a determined nod she stands running into the forest as fast as she can).
Ziona: (Whispers to herself while looking down with heavy tears). Thank you….
Shizen: (As she slashes a group of guards). Dam it how many guards are there. (Suddenly gets a cut on her arm from a much more powerful guard and curses as she clashes with him seeing a badge on his chest with a sign symbolizing Agni’s personal guard). No wonder your tougher… But that means…. (Eyes widens as she realizes who is in charge of the attack).
Zahir: (Doesn’t notice as he stays on guard over Ziona as the guards stop coming for a brief moment).
Kura: (Blocks with barriers focusing on defending the group and give them defensive support).
Yami: (Slashes any guard coming at him as he shouts and taunts them). That all you got!
Ziona: (Looks at Zahir with concern). Are you alright?
Zahir: I’m fine at the moment but I don’t see why there are so many of them all at once.
Jennifer: (Is shooting her bow at any guard coming at her or the others being focused on a form of long-range support). I am not sure. This seems like so much for attacking one little island.
Kairi runs as fast as possible with Luka and Lulu in her arms as they cry. She tries to find the dark area she had trained in earlier and finding it stays in the shadows. Looking around at her surroundings cautiously she tries to calm Luka and Lulu down and comfort them.
Kairi: Shh it is alright… Please do not cry. You will see your mommy and daddy again soon… It is alright.
Guard 1: (Are heard patrolling and approaching closer to where Kairi hides). Hmm is that babies crying?
Guard 2: We must follow orders and that is to get rid everyone if there is resistance….
Guard: That seems kind of harsh….
Guard 2: I don’t make the orders. Don’t see a baby doing much harm though.
Kairi: (Hears the guards and quickly tries to go into her shadow but it does not seem to be working. She tries to calm Luka and Lulu down at least). Please be quiet… Please. (Holds them both to comfort them making Luka calm down and Lulu quiet down but they still look very upset. She thinks quickly trying to find a safe spot for them seeing a hollowed-out area under a big root of the tree she is under and places the twins there as she whispers). It will be alright. Just stay quiet please, it is important. (Places a shadow barrier over Luka and Lulu to hide them and makes it so it muffles the sound inside of it just in case, but she cannot make it completely silent. She then takes a breath trying to use her shadow form again, but the same thing happens unable to use her own energy. She stays in the shadows trying to peak out a little from the dark area to see how far the away the guards are as she has her hand on the hilt of one of her knives ready to unsheathe it if needed).
The guards: (Still hear the cries but choose to ignore it not wanting to deal with children).
Kairi: (Looks back at where Luka and Lulu are hidden and scold them with a pout). Please be quiet. (She then covers her mouth quickly hearing it echo a little. Looking at the guards again to see if they had heard she then sees that there are no guards to hear her as she is covered by the sounds of battle nearby. She is about to look up ahead for more guards to see if they are nearby when she sees Chazz, Hiki and Tori fighting a huge group if guards. Some in the back of the group have cannons ready to fire but they cannot see it as clearly as she can from where they are. Sees the cannons and focuses able to make a second barrier over the twins so their even harder to hear oddly feeling something of her presence stay guard of them from the earth. She rushes to Chazz, Hiki and Tori as fast as she can, seeing the cannons fire). LOOK OUT! (Putting up a barrier on instinct it is one of the strongest she has made yet. It holds back the cannon fire though cracking a little making her become out of breath from the impact it had).
Chazz, Hiki and Tori: (They all notice Kairi as they finish off the guards they were fighting and head towards her).
Tori: (Goes in front of Kairi to keep her covered). Kairi what are you doing here!
Kairi: (Catches her breath with her arms hurting from the impact as well). I was hiding Luka and Lulu nearby… And saw the cannons about to fire at you… So, I put a barrier to hide them, and I could feel something in the earth keeping guard of them so rushed over… I am sorry.
Tori: Why are you saying you’re sorry, you did nothing wrong. You probably just saved our lives if anything, so nothing to feel sorry about alright?
Hiki: (Smiles as she pets Kairi’s head quickly). Thanks Kairi!
Kairi: (Smiles knowing that she helped some). No problem! I just want you to be safe but when I was by Ziona’s house there were a lot of guards there, so she told me to run with Luka and Lulu to keep them safe. I am going back to take care of them.
Chazz: (Holds off some of the guards). Do you want someone to go with you? I am sure just I and another can handle all these guards.
Kairi: No, I can manage but I would check on the house when you are done because there were a lot more guard over there. I hope their alright. (Looks a little worried).
Chazz: Alright we will head over there right now. HikiTori I am going to need you to speed this up
Hiki and Tori: Yes master! (Both become their sword forms and appear in Chazz’s hands in their respective light and dark energies).
Kairi: (Nods and zooms back to Luka and Lulu so she can guard them keeping the barrier over them as she hides trying to go into her shadow form again but no matter what it does not appear which frustrates her).
Back at the house more guards arrive and push them back as they fight. For some reason most guards on the island are going towards them as well as the stronger of the guard being some of the personal guards of Agni Shizen takes note of.
Shizen: (Fights the stronger guards ten at a time being cornered and then she is not seen as they all charge as one).
Jennifer: (Gets worried seeing Shizen get overwhelmed but cannot reach her). Shizen!
Shizen: (Suddenly a burst of green light comes from the center of the guards pushing all of them back. She is in her third form as she overpowers them with a smirk). Honestly Child you think that I would let myself be overwhelmed like that.
Jennifer: (Sighs in relief at she continues to fight). Just do not scare me like that.
Kura: (Fights through a group of guards in her first form with a knife and shield blocking attacks for Yami to battle defensively).
Yami: (Does the attacking being the offensive of the two with both knives that have a dark aura from darkness he has absorbed as power).
Zahir: (Is in his third form as well but focuses most on protecting Ziona to make sure that no harm comes to her. His speed increases as he fights with the staff sword and three scorpion tails).
Ziona: (Watches Zahir fight looking worried for his safety but also amazed at watching him fight never seeing him fight this hard before).
Jennifer: (Does not see a guard with a crossbow that had taken a spot-on higher ground getting shot in the shoulder. With a look in pain, she shouts backing up as she grabs her shoulder).
Shizen: (Rushes over and defends Jennifer from the fire of arrows looking back at her with concerned). Be careful Child.
Zahir: (Rushes over to the guard with the crossbow but then he is already taken out by shadow blades). Took your time coming back.
Chazz: (Shows up with Hiki and Tori behind the disappearing guard).
Hiki: Sorry we got a little held up.
Tori: Yeah, we had these people constantly bugging us, it was annoying.
Jennifer: (Smiles at Chazz, Hiki and Tori as she grabs her shoulder putting pressure on it making her wince). Glad you could make it.
Shizen: Tend to your wound child. We can cover you until then and Zahir go back to your wife. I can handle it from here, thank you.
Kura: (Smiles seeing the reinforcements but focuses on blocking a group of guards).
Yami: (Grins as Tori begins to fight beside him). Took you long enough.
Tori: Oh, shush it but everyone in town is safe for now so we can focus on these guys alright!
Chazz: Yes, we can now.
Zahir: (Heads back to defend Ziona in a matter of seconds).
Ziona: (Looks at Jennifer with concern as Shizen defends her).
Jennifer: (Kneels for a moment making a plant grow onto her arm and cover the wound on her shoulder. Stretching it out for a second, she then grabs her bow and helping with the fight again changing features of animals that would help in that moment). Good as new.
Ziona: (Looks amazed at her quick reaction time and survival instincts). Wow she’s very good at her power… And it is all of nature and she can control it… It really is amazing.
Hiki: Yes, it pretty cool. She could use it to replace her entire arm if she needed too.
Jennifer: (As she shoots her bow she shouts over). Hey that only happened twice!
Shizen: Well, it is an impressive skill to learn and making it grow back as well. You should practice that more often.
Jennifer: I am not going to cut my own arm off for training!
Shizen: (Laughs as she fights a big group of guards finding it easy to make a few jokes while standing her ground). Very well Child.
Ziona: (gives an even more impressed expression). She can grow the arm back too?
Shizen: Yes, though it is a new skill for her, so it takes a few days to get back to normal.
Jennifer: One I do not plan to use often let me make clear.
Chazz: I do not plan on allowing you to do something like that so do not worry. (As he fights off twenty more guards with Hiki and Tori’s swords).
Jennifer: (Smiles as she uses her bow to shoot any guards that go behind anyone’s back and looking for anymore guards with crossbows).
Kura and Yami: (Both of them shout and darkness falls on the guards. Yami punches the air a blast of dark power blasting many guards away as Kura fights at great speeds using her shield to push them off balance).
Hiki: (Looks at Kura and Yami try to show off and then looks at Chazz with beggful eyes). Hmm master, can I?
Chazz: (Smiles and shakes his head yes).
Hiki: Yay! (Hiki clears out guards as her sword floats in front of her). Now face divine light! (Her sword becomes engulfed in the fire of light with its curved blade and a small streak of black in it).
Shizen: Now it looks like everyone is starting to show off, but I won’t take the spotlight from them. (Laughs a little watching everyone fight their hardest then sees another guard with the symbol of Agni personal guard. Clashing with him her eyes narrow using more effort to slash him down and reaches for the medal with the symbol on it. Looking at it in her hand eyes narrow again in a glare knowing his guards don’t stray far from Agni himself).
Tori: (Notices Shizen’s expression become tense when fighting near her). What is it Shizen? (He kicks some personal guards away while Chazz and Hiki are fighting the group of guards on the other side of him away).
Shizen: (She continues to glare at the symbole with her hand clenching onto it). Some of the guards wear a badge of the personal guards of Agni… They never are far away from him, and these are the scouts of his guards. Not as strong as the main ones that surround him… He’s on this island… I know it. (She narrows her eyes at the medal again gritting her teeth as her anger shows).
Tori: Alright well let’s make sure there is no harm to everyone here. Then we can hunt down Agni quickly.
Shizen: These are his scouts; most likely he is coming to us. (Fights again having a built-up rage start to come out).
Jennifer: (Takes out both of her short swords and charges a group changing to some animal features every time she needs a different skill).
Yami: (Fights another group charging forward and striking with more power that he absorbs but also using his size as an advantage to move around the guard quickly). That all you got!
Kura: (Charges beside Yami ramming a few guards back with her shield). Sorry to everyone for making it a bit dark. It looks like it is nighttime because of us.
Tori: Meh I’m alright with the darkness so I can live. (Shrugs with a grin as he overpowers the flames of the guards with his darkness).
Hiki: I could light it up a bit. (As she sends a wave of light towards the group Jennifer is in, but the light goes around her as well).
Chazz: (Closes in to fight with Jennifer back-to-back).
Jennifer: Thanks for the help Hiki. (Uses plant vines to grab some guards but it burns off making her grit her teeth). Well, that does not work.
Shizen: Yes, with fire not so well so you cannot rely on plant-based attacks.
Jennifer: I will try not to. (Continues to fight with Chazz watching each other’s back being careful to avoid using plantlife in her attacks).
Chazz: That is why I am here to help. (Chuckles as he uses shadows to do what the vines and other plant life could not as he uses light to surround himself).
Hiki: (Gets an idea as she begins to float with different elements in her hand, mainly water and light). Time to put out the fire! (Holds her hands up as water lances appear in the air with light surrounding them).
Shizen: (Smirks a little at what Hiki is doing). Smart thinking, not as powerful as a water spirit’s attack but definitely will do some damage.
Hiki: Yeah, it’s going to get a bit wet… So… Sorry head of time! (As she begins to send the lances big fireballs are beginning to be launched at the island. Upon seeing this she sets up some other lances to destroy them as they come using it as a defense to protect the island instead).
Shizen: (Goes to Jennifer and Chazz covering them as many fireballs hurls through the sky even making the sky a little red and the earth shakes). Dam it they’re here, everyone gets down!
Kura: (Goes over to Hiki helping her with a barrier by adding her own but even it both of them they still struggle).
Yami: (Tries to figure out where all the fire is coming from as he tries to shield himself and take cover).
Ziona: (Reaches for Zahir grabbing him by the arm with all her strength to pull him into the barrier and holds him). Zahir!
Tori: (Heads towards Kairi to set up something with her as he is in a quick panic but he can not make out a way to get to her).
Zahir: Ziona! (Hangs on to Ziona covering her as he helps with the barrier).
Hiki: (Tries to keep a big barrier around the village as Kura shields her).
Chazz: (Goes with Jennifer as he sets up a barrier as well. The fireballs stops but the area around them has a lot of its plant life surrounding them burning).
Ziona: (Holds onto Zahir tightly with eyes closed until the earth has stopped shaking from the impact. She then looks around to see if Zahir everyone else is alright).
Yami: (Had taken cover and gets up stiffly to figure out what happened cautiously).
Kura: (Lets the barrier down but looks very weak using much of her strength).
Jennifer: (As Shizen covers them she looks around the area to see if everyone is safe as well).
Shizen: (Let’s go of Jennifer and Chazz but then falls onto the ground herself since she had taken damage from the first impact, her barrier not working against fire. Stiffly she gets on her knees, her short sword stabbed into the ground for support as she breathes heavily). He… Always liked… Making a entrance.
Jennifer: (Helps Shizen noticing she is badly wounded and rushes to help her being very panicked worried). Shizen!
Shizen: I… I am fine child… Just give me a moment.
Kairi: (Back where she hides, she had been holding off the fireballs with her barrier but keeps it up, holding the twins as they cry. She looks a little out of breath from such a strong barrier and the impact from the fireball, but she manages finding an extra strength in the earth around her).
Hiki: (Collapses from the barrier being taken down since she used a lot of her energy but managing to stay up as Tori comes back to help support those who need it).
Kura: (Catches Hiki and holds her on the ground carefully with concern).
Shizen: (Scans the area seeing everyone is alright. She then sees many wounded guards as well from the blast looking angry). He harmed his own men.
Jennifer: (Looks around as well then sees Hiki has fallen). Hiki!
Kura: (Focuses on tending to Hiki but looks relieved). She is fine. She just used a lot of her energy.
Hiki: I… Can k-… Keep going. (She tries to get up but clearly struggles).
Kura: (Makes Hiki rest on her lap not letting her stand). No just rest for a moment. You need it.
Jennifer: (Smiles gratefully toward Hiki). Thank you Hiki, we owe you one and Shizen thank you for protecting us as well.
Shizen: (Smiles but still struggles kneeling and supporting herself with her sword). Anytime child.
Jennifer: (Still looks concerned). Are you sure you are alright?
Shizen: I am fine Child; I’ve been through worse.
Chazz: I guess… We should rest for a bit while we can.
Jennifer: I agree, I will keep watch. You and the others rest while we can.
Yami: (Glances at the injured guard the flames even being a lot for them from their injuries). Yeah, I’ll help with that, still a messed-up thing to do. Who even is this guy?
Shizen: (Looks down and clenches her fist. Her statements are half-truths to herself, but long built-up anger pours out of her). Yes, Agni will not care about how many lives are lost even if on his side… It’s one of the reasons why we never got along… He is a power-hungry fool who will do anything to get what he wants… The only reason I could not do much is that I had little proof, but he knows how to manipulate others to get what he wants, and I think that’s why some have become so corrupted by the power he promises to them….
Chazz and Tori: (As everyone begins to rest, they get mad over the fact that Agni would put in harm’s way the people that worship him all for his own personal goals).
Yami: (Gets angry as well as he climbs a tall tree that was singed by flames nearby to keep watch).
Ziona: (Still holds onto Zahir and looks up at him with concern). Are you alright Zahir?
Jennifer: (Helps Shizen up being angry as well as Kura who helps Hiki).
Zahir: (Smiles as he stumbles a little bit). Yeah, I should be fine, just need to sit down for a bit.
Ziona: (Gets an idea trying to concentrate on the ground to look for plant life placing her hand on it. Making poison plants grow and picking certain ones she gives to Zahir). I can’t do much, but I can help by giving everyone something to help heal their energy a little… It’s a form of poison energy that is more transferring it into something for healing… It’s the least I could do.
Zahir: (Breathes heavily as he takes the herbs). Thanks honey….
Tori: (Is out of breath as well as most in the area). It would help… a lot
Chazz: Much appreciated.
Ziona: It’s the least I could do though I don’t have time to make it stronger, but it will not taste very good.
Jennifer: Thank you, I can bring it to everyone else. (Smiles and takes the plants from Ziona giving them to Chazz, Hiki and Tori). Here you go but you will have to tough through the taste of it.
Kura: (Takes the herbs from Jennifer to give to Hiki). Thank you.
Chazz: So, it will be like… Tasting your medicine
Hiki and Tori: (Get Goosebumps from the memory of tasting the medicine).
Jennifer: (Gets a pouting expression as she hands the herbs to Chazz with a little force). Yes pretty much so deal with it.
Kura: Sorry about this Hiki. (Suddenly makes Hiki eat the herbs and covering her mouth so she cannot spit it out).
Hiki: (Struggles with the herbs as she slowly accepts and eats them though reluctantly).
Kura: (Let’s go of Hiki). Well I hope I am forgiven for that. (Looks at Chazz and Tori). Do I have to make you do the same or will you need help as well?
Yami: Is that really helping them?
Kura: Oh hush.
Tori: (Sighs as he eats the herbs doing the same as Hiki being just as reluctant).
Chazz: (Takes the herb knowing that he cannot deny the kindness Ziona is showing so he slowly eats it).
Jennifer: (Goes over to Shizen). Here, there is some for you as well.
Shizen: Thank you child but I am fine, just one moment. (As she says this, plants grow slowly covering her wounds. She focuses on it just like the plants on Jennifer’s shoulder).
Jennifer: Alright as long as you are fine.
Yami: Guys there’s some boats on the shore, got a red fire symbol thing on it
Shizen: (Her fists clench and anger). Yes… That’s him alright.
Hiki: (Gets up to heal Chazz and Tori and to help with some small wounds now that her energy is slowly returning thanks to the herbs).
Zahir: (His fists clench with the same anger). He’s here then.
Kura: (Helps Hiki heal as well wanting too quickly ready everyone as fast as possible).
Yami: (Hops off the tree to get ready for another attack).
Jennifer: We do not have much time then.
Shizen: (She punches the ground that creates a small crater when letting her anger out). Power hungry monster!
Agni: (Makes his appearance on the path leading to them with guards surrounding him). You called for me dear Shizen? Do please hold off from the name calling as it is very unbecoming of a council member.
Kura and Yami: (Have their hands on their weapons, ready to unsheathe them).
Ziona: (Her hold on Zahir tightens being scared worried about what will happen).
Jennifer: (Has her bow aimed at the guards watching them carefully for sudden movements).
Shizen: (Stands stiffly but her glare at Agni is on unflinching). I was wondering when you would show your face, still hiding behind your guards I see. I was not calling you names only saying what you are.
Agni: (It’s clearly a pretend act he makes showing that he is hurt in his heart by covering it). Oh you hurt me so my dear Shizen.
Chazz: (He, Hiki and Tori stand in the shadows, ready for anything).
Agni: I’m not sure if I’m a monster, I only get rid of the problems that still lingers in this world by any means.
Shizen: The world you want to create is a world filled with fear and ruled by a man who is a dictator… The world needs balance to keep peace like Nagi and Shiro always created. (Looks down for a second then goes back to glaring at Agni).
Agni: Who again? (Thinks to himself for a little bit still putting up his act). Oh, those two fools that couldn’t see my clear vision I had.
Tori: (Starts getting very angry hearing that gritting his teeth to hold back).
Kura and Yami: (Get angry as well knowing their grandparents were good people from the memories they have).

Agni: What world have they tried to create? If spirits had grown the way, they wanted to it would be thrown into chaos. We cannot just decide to live how we want as there is always a path set out for us as soon as we are all born.
Shizen: We choose our own paths and that is what they wanted. Not to be ruled and rid of those who do not agree. It’s not right! (Thinks for a second knowing and looks at Kura. She afraid if she is right remembering a time Kura had mentioned booking in her father’s study long ago). That book Izumi had… What was it?
Kura: (Looks at Shizen with confusion yet also sadness bringing back painful memories). It seemed like it was about gathering infinite amounts of energy… But he snatched it away from me before I investigated it… It was red and looked like it had the symbol that these guards have… I thought it was about a way to bring back the dead… Mom….
Shizen: That is not a book to bring back the dead…. (Looks at Agni in shock knowing his library must have forbidden books and studies). What did you do…?
Agni: (Smiles and begins to laugh as he keeps up his sarcastic act). Oh nothing, just promising a desperate man to bring back his wife. You would be surprised how easy it is to bring someone to your side when they have nothing to lose. True the book I gave that man was right, it can bring back the dead theoretically. Izumi had lost his wife a good number of years ago before the incident and he confided in me saying he would do anything to bring her back. I just complied with his wish. All he needed to do was to be the one to take in energy and become a infinite source of power for my seal. At last my experiment had poor results as the energy had taken over his mind and made him become a monster that had no knowing what he was doing, only a rageful need to take energy. I don’t see what I did wrong. All I did was just try to give him his wish.
Kura: (Looks at Agni in shock hearing this, connecting the dots in her head. Anger slowly takes over as she remembers her father before he went mad).
Yami: (Looks at Agni in shock. Staying silent putting his head down remembering his hard past, all of the hell had been through as his rage grows).
Shizen: (Rage shows clear, wanting to tear Agni apart with her eyes glowing red). You turned him into a monster… With Nagi and Shiro and many others meeting their end as a result… How could you! You basically turned him into a bomb that could have destroyed everything! Nagi and Shiro sacrificed themselves to save us all!
Agni: My plan was to never get rid of them. They just chose to do that. I don’t recall physically taking them out. I just tried to supply a guy with the means to get the love of his life back. It was his choice to do it in the first place not mine. (Stares into the shadows and notices Chazz hiding). Oh well this is a surprise! The man that sealed my energy away is here as well? My oh my this is such a coincidence. I have not had the chance to thank him for helping me realize something.
Shizen: (Realizes what Agni is talking about). That is right Chazz sealed you power. All you have is your combat skills and the personal guards you hide behind.
Kura: (Instantly rushes at Agni, rage in her eyes being blocked by guards. Keeping her hate filled eyes on Agni they change to red and black). You will pay for this, I swear it!
Agni: (Grabs Kura’s arm and holds her up while restricted her other arm). Oh, will I now? I would like to see you try. (Throws Kura into the air as he kicks her away hard enough to force her back and off her balance).
Kura: (Slams into a tree, struggling to get back up she still looks at Agni with rage filled eyes).
Yami: (Still has his head down as his rage builds).
Shizen: (Snaps and rushes at Agni next both swords swinging at him fast in a charge).
Jennifer: (Starts fighting a guard next to her realizing their much more powerful than the others they had fought).
Shizen: You won’t hurt them any longer! They have been through enough because of you! (As she is slashing at Agni, he is avoiding them without even drawing his weapon. He kicks her as well with his personal guards more well trained under Agni as they begin to fight. Shizen stumbles being pushed back then charging again clashing with the guards to try and get to Agni again. Some of the guards seeing Zahir and Ziona goes after them).
Kura: (Clashes with a guard but is struggling being forced back slowly).
Shizen: Come here and fight me Agni you bastard! You even harmed your own men in that disaster! They were lives that didn’t need to be lost!
Agni: Shizen, they knew what they signed up for. I had warned them, they may lose their lives. For they were poison spirit’s coming back to a land that shouldn’t still be here! I didn’t want to take their lives, but it was something I necessary to progress my-. (As he is talking Tori brings his swords close to neck from behind as Chazz and Hiki are close behind as Agni sighs). Children should have no part in this conversation, now don’t interrupt me.
Shizen: (Stares at Agni in shock then becomes even angrier letting it take control with her eyes turning red again). You used their weakness and brought them to their deaths… I’m sorry I could not help them… But I swear I will tear you apart for all the pain you have caused!
Yami: (Begins to take a little dark energy that quickly increases his head still down saying nothing).
Shizen: (Looks at Tori seeing the anger in his eyes as well). Nagi and Shiro did everything to keep this madness away… I understand your rage.
Agni: Oh, now that is interesting indeed. Excuse me, will you? (Takes out his scythe and slashes at Chazz and Hiki and Tori causing them to back off just a little bit as dark energy with a small amount of light is surrounding Tori’s fists).
Shizen: (Holds off the guards that want to rush to Agni’s side and defend him so Chazz, Hiki and Tori are not interrupted).
Kura: (Fights a few guards but is starting to be pushed back having to absorb a little darkness from a nearby shadow to try and hold her own better).
Jennifer: (Is pushed back as well as she fights with two short swords but just like Kura she starts to struggle).
Hiki and Tori: (Look down as their master is being cornered and wounded from Agni as they begin to clash. Both of their energies start to flow up into the air they seem to begin to mix together. In a matter of seconds, the two disappear as two flashes of light and dark mixed together that go to help everyone else that are having troubles before they can even comprehend what is happening).
Shizen: (Looks at Hiki and Tori in shock but smiles being proud that they have reached this amount of power and saying more to herself). Amazing… You are reaching your third form… They need to be careful though the first time changing takes a lot of energy, so they have a very limited time once reached… But still the fact that they reached it is… Impressive.
Jennifer: (Sees the flashes of black and white taking a second to figure out its Hiki and Tori Kura doing the same, but both continue to fight giving it their all. It somehow gives them a boost in energy seeing them fight like this).
Yami: (The darkness he is taking becomes more and surrounds him as he clenches his fists while still looking down).
Hiki: (Is the first stop as she is now wearing a headdress that stretches down to her arms like a veil. Her white and black hair flowing to the side with small streaks black and white in its opposite sides. She holds a staff that has her blade at the bottom of it. The staff has the yin yang symbol that floats at the top of the staff as her clothes become a flowing pure white dress with a black sash to go with her veil).
Jennifer: (Sees Hiki being amazed at how she looks Kura with the same reaction). whoa… You look amazing… Thank you for helping out now go help Chazz. I can handle it over here.
Shizen: (Nods at Hiki smiling being proud that they reached such a powerful level in such a short amount of time). Now go handle the monster like I know you want to… I will block the guards. (Looks for Tori now that she has seen Hiki being reluctant to not fight Agni herself but knowing they reached a new level completely just to do so).
Hiki: (Nods as she gathers elements around the staff to concentrate more of her magic as she rushes to Chazz and hugs him quickly in the process of healing him).
Chazz: (Seeing Hiki like this takes his breath away seeing this new form of hers). Hiki….
Hiki: I will be fine master. This time for sure I will protect everyone.
Jennifer: (Smiles at Chazz and Hiki and fights again giving it her all).
Shizen: (Sees another group of guards trying to go to Agni’s side and stops them continuing to holding them of on her own).
Ziona: (Is watching everything that happens being amazed but also up at Zahir worriedly. She sees him fighting so hard and struggle to not be forced back in order to protect her).
Tori: (speeds pasts the guards that are fighting and takes them down. As he stops for a moment everyone begins to see black feathers fall from the sky even Agni being confused. Everyone looks up and they see Tori with the same clothes he had on but his white hair standing out more. What stands out most however are black wings that help him soar high above the battle. He holds his blade that looks like a circle at the hilt of a sword with both sides of the blade sharpened. A small Ying Yang symbol is on the hilt similar to Hiki’s).
Shizen: (Looks up at Tori with a big smile almost thinking he is Nagi since something about him is similar besides the wings). You look just like him.
Jennifer and Kura: (Looks up as well looking amazed taking a second to realize that is Tori).
Tori: (Dives down and starts picking guards off in an instant on by one as he flies past).
Kura: (Takes a moment to process what has happened seeing the guards she was fighting on the ground).
Yami: (Still looks down as even more darkness is absorbed. He unsheathes his blades while facing Agni).
Agni: Oh? Now what do you want young sir? (As he faces his scythe towards Yami).
Yami: (His head still down as he speaks). Because of you… I lost my family… My brother… My home… I was hated… It’s all because of you! (Looks up at Agni his eyes black and red as he slashes at him forcing him back with all the energy he had absorbed. When he is charging at him as he yells in fury).
Kura: (Looks at Yami with shock and worry making her own anger fade into concern). Yami… Oh no.
Agni: Hmm very interesting, well come at me than if you wish for revenge.
Yami: (Strikes Agni repeatedly as darkness continues to be absorbed and put into his attacks making him even stronger than any time before. There are bursts of darkness similar to when he used his fist to make a wave of darkness but from his whole body making the area around him shake with his rage).
Kura: (Yells at Yami trying to get through to him but the energy is too strong making her struggle). Yami calm down!
Jennifer: (Holds onto something trying to keep her balance).
Shizen: (Sees Yami and tries to get to him but has trouble with the darkness swirling around that area violently).
Agni: (Gets away from Yami as he strikes). Hmm maybe I found myself another person to play with for now. (He smirks).
Yami: (Gets hit in the shoulder forcing him back but still in a blind rage charge again as darkness goes into the wound to heal it). Because of what you did to my father everyone hated me and my family blaming us for it!
Shizen: (Becomes worried about so much darkness being absorbed looking at Chazz and Tori to see how badly it is affecting them).
Chazz and Tori: (Look unharmed or tired as it seems a layer of light protects them from Hiki’s power).
Agni: Oh, did I now? I believe it was your father who had done that, like I said not me physically. Gosh how many times do I need to repeat myself today… But if you wish to fight than be ready to die than young sir? (Readies his scythe as he lunges forward).
Yami: (Tries to block being forced back being out of breath for a moment before he gets more energy in him ready to strike again).
Kura: (Stands stiffly trying to get to Yami calm him down using her speed to do so. She finally is able to reach and tackle him to get away and get out of his blind rage). Yami calm down!
Yami: (Struggles to get loose and charge Agni but is unable to with Kura’s tight hold of him. He continues glaring at Agni wanting to kill him as the darkness being taken lessens because of her hold on him). Let me go! Let me kill him for everything that he did! I will make him pay!
Kura: I know, and I do too… But I don’t want you to get killed in the processes.
Yami: (He starts to calm down from Kura’s words and hold on him as emotions threaten to spill out).
Agni: (Stops in front of Kura and Yami as he aims his scythe towards Yami). Who said I was going to pay for doing what again? You both can die together then. (As he slashes his scythe Chazz blocks it with his swords being there to defend them in an instant).
Chazz: I am afraid I cannot have you do that… Agni.
Agni: (Laughs). Oh, there he is the guest of honor today. How are you doing today Chazz?
Kura: (Quickly picks up Yami before he can react and runs at a fast speed to get him away).
Yami: What are you doing, I had that! (Grabs his head wincing from a bad headache that starts).
Kura: You pushed yourself too much with your energy. You need to stop.
Yami: I… Had that…. (Passes out mostly from Kura hitting him over the head as she then lies him against a tree).
Kura: (She smiles lightly at Yami and then look after him protectively). Get some rest Yami.
Agni: Oh, my fun was taken away but for now I have deal for you balance user.
Chazz: What deal could I ever take from you?
Agni: Oh, you know, you undo my seal so that I can have my powers back and traded off is that I will not come back to this island. I would leave right now.
Chazz: Why would I do that when I can defeat you now?
Jennifer: (Suddenly a barrier of fire goes over her from 4 guards that overwhelm her). Let me go!
Shizen: Child! (Rushes to free Jennifer but once she is about to slash them the barrier squeezes Jennifer making her scream).
Jennifer: (As the flame barrier squeezes her it burns the plants protecting her open wound on her shoulder making it more painful screaming again from the pain it causes).
Shizen: (Tries to ram into the fire barrier to get to Jennifer not caring of the pain). Dammit let her go you bastard!
Ziona: (A guard with a crossbow aimed at Zahir makes it so that any move he makes he is shot as another guard is in front of him sword pointed right in front of him. She cries out for him in fear of losing him).
Agni: (Smirks at Chazz). Or do I have to destroy the island first?
Chazz: (He starts to laugh a little bit while looking down).
Agni: What’s so funny when your friend’s lives are at risk?
Chazz: Oh, nothing but you forget two things.
Agni: (Gets offended when questioned of forgetting something finding it an insult to his intelligence but still smirks with a sense of sarcasm). And what is that scum!
Chazz: My spirits are not in my swords right now…. (As he says this Hiki shows up next to Jennifer and Shizen and dispels the fire barrier in a lights instant. She heals the two of them quickly as Tori takes out all the crossbow users by attacking from above so Zahir can takes down the swords in front of him).
Jennifer: Thank… You…. (Faints from the burning pain she had felt and Shizen catches her before she hits the ground).
Shizen: (Holds Jennifer looking over her and nodding to Hiki as a thanks being focused on Jennifer making sure she is alright).
Ziona: (Sighs relieved that Zahir is safe but suddenly in another part of the island fireballs fall from the sky just like before).
Agni: (Laughs greatly). Here it comes, the main event! (As he backs off from Chazz with a slash pushing him back).
Shizen: (Sees the fireballs with a worried expression and then glaring at Agni fearing where the fireballs are aimed). What are you up to and stop acting like this is a play being acted out?
Agni: Oh, dear Shizen I know it isn’t but in few moments, you will know what I mean.
Zahir: (Starts to get angrier from a thought he thinks may happen with the fireballs).
Shizen: (Looks at Zahir seeing his angry look as well). There in that area, aren’t they Zahir… That’s the safe house.
Ziona: (Looks shocked, worried, and scared looking at Agni trying to plead and bed to him). No… Please don’t hurt them.
Zahir: (He then in an instant charges in towards Agni with rage). I won’t allow you to hurt anymore of my people!
Agni: (Sighs). More trash keeps charging at me today. I must be popular. (As Agni swings scythe to cut Zahir with little effort because of the brief blinding rage).
Ziona: (Covers her mouth as tears fall not being able to stand seeing Zahir get hurt as she whispers). No… Please.
Shizen: (Her eyes flash red as she uses plant life to protect Zahir from more serious harm. SHe carefully puts Jennifer down and stands). Enough Agni too many have died! There’s no need to drag any more innocent lives into this!
Agni: (Waves his hand at Shizen to ignore her). Yes, yes tell me all about it later miss Shizen.
Shizen: (Fires her bow straight at Agni with the arrow glowing a bright green). I will when you fall by my hand if you continue this! Whatever it will take to stop this madness!
Yami: (Wakes up grabbing his head with Kura holding him protectively. He picks up one of his throwing knives waiting for his vision the clear more).
Agni: (Dodges Shizen’s arrow swiftly). If you can please do but then you would be doing something I would, so you are welcome to become more like me Shizen. I won’t fall just yet however.
Shizen: (Grits her teeth with a low growl). I will never become a monster like you! Sometimes things must be done for the good of everyone however!
Yami: (Throws the throwing knife at Agni as he glares at him).
Kura: (Looks shocked by seeing the knife pass by and then looks at Yami seeing he is awake and the anger in his eyes). Yami….
Agni: (Avoids the knife and smirks). I wasn’t talking to you Shizen I was talking to the man over there with the huge amount of anger in his eyes. That shine with the lust for blood, it’s an amusing sight really
Yami: (Looks at Agni angrily still as he shouts). Quiet you bastard, I’ll kill you!
Agni: Why fight me when you could join me young man. With your abilities there would be nothing that we couldn’t do together.
Yami: (Glares at Agni more). Do you think I’m stupid? I’m not going to be like my father and be corrupted by you! (Looks at Kura and everyone else). I have a family finally again, so I won’t give that up for something as stupid as that!
Kura: (Smiles at Yami being proud of him hugging on to him more).
Agni: My oh my how rude but alas if that is your answer than that’s a waste of potential right their but oh well. (He then smirks). So, if I help get rid of the people that are blinded by their idea of false peace then so be it.
Yami: Don’t you dare threaten them! I will kill you before that!
Shizen: (Steps between where Agni and Yami are with a warning and intimidating glare at Agni with arms crossed). Don’t even think about it.
Agni: Oh, so scary you two. Even you can’t stop my thoughts Shizen so why bother telling me not to think when I have been since I came here. For example, that small village of people you didn’t take time to help had been captured and are waiting for my decision for what to do with them. Oh, do I enjoy playing with the hands of fate don’t you everyone?
Zahir and Ziona: (Look greatly worried for their captured people).
Chazz, Hiki and Tori: (Are thinking of a way to go save them before it’s too late with teeth gritted).
Ziona: (Again pleads desperately with Agni). please let them go!
Shizen: Dammit! (Looks at Chazz thinking of any other way for this to end but is not able to think of any other).
Jennifer: (Starts to wake and first thing she sees is the fire in the distance getting worried as well Kura and Yami doing the same).
Agni: Their lives hang in the balance of my hands, or would the balance user like to change that into his hands with this game of war?
Chazz: (Stays silent as he looks down).
Zahir: (Is thinking of something to do as he stares at the fire).
Shizen: (Thinks as well knowing if they make any move the villagers would be in danger and hating the idea of giving Agni his fires back fully, but it slowly becomes the only option).
Ziona: (Looks at the fire knowing Raku and Nara are probably there as well and desperately not wanting to lose them).
Agni: So, what will be balance user? Do you want to give my powers back or sacrifice the villagers? What will you all do then?
Zahir: (Stands up and hugs Ziona). I’m sorry but I may be breaking one of my promises today. (Starts to run towards the villagers being blindly desperate to save his people).
Agni: Oh, a runner? Huh interesting.
Ziona: (Reaches out to Zahir in fear of losing him). No Zahir… Don’t go…!
Shizen: (Sees Zahir run and worries, not sure if he could even make it in time to defend the others).
Agni: (Sees this getting an idea to scare the others and follows Zahir). You’re not getting away you pest! (Pulls out his scythe as he manages to trip Zahir to stop his movements and aims his scythe at him to force him to fall).
Ziona: (With all of her strength instantly rushing through her she runs to Zahir. She lunges in front of him without hesitation to protect him). Zahir no! (As she stands in front of Zahir she is cut by the scythe and since she is in front and closer to the scythe it cuts her more deeply than it would have Zahir. That moment feeling like time stopped as she coughs up blood from the scythe going into her).
Zahir: (Is mortified at the sight of Ziona being struck as he sees her blood on his hands not believing that this is actually happening).
Agni: (He then pulls the scythe away hiding any emotion besides his sarcastic demeanor although there is hesitation). Not who I expected to strike down, but the goal still stays the same of someone to even act like the hero when you all know the choices are known. So how many more lives will be sacrificed? Huh Chazz how many will die before you make a decision!
Chazz: (Is silent as Hiki and Tori look at him knowing what he is thinking. They are not happy about it but neither is he).
Shizen: (Is shocked seeing Ziona and like everyone else is taking a moment to process it with her hand going to her mouth with some tears starting to fall).
Jennifer: (Whispers no as well with the same reaction being in shock).
Kairi: (in the distance tries to comfort the twins not leaving her spot but at the same time Luka and Lulu crying as it happens like they can tell what has happened).
Ziona: (Takes a second to realize what had happened to her as blood spreads and stains her white and light purple dress. As the scythe leaves her, she turns looking back at Zahir as her hand reaches weakly for him as she falls whispering his name). … Za-hir….
Zahir: (His body is shaking as he covers her wound. He still feels her blood a sense of despair and sadness overflow him as he cannot find the words to speak yet alone respond all he can is hold Ziona and try to heal her wound with some energy).
Ziona: (Her hand weakly reaches and holds Zahir’s cheek with a faint smile and tears and then coughs with more blood coming out as her hand starts to fall). I… Love you….
Zahir: (Holds Ziona’s hand up as he still is in shock and eyes still widen with panic setting in). No… No… No… Don’t leave me… Please don’t… I love you always… Please stay here with me… STAY HERE WITH ME!
Ziona: I’m… Sorry I… I just wanted… To protect you like… You protect me. (Her eyes slowly start to close only looking at Zahir not wanting him to cry).
Zahir: (Brings Ziona closer as he begins to breakdown with the blood flowing down his shirt).
Ziona: Please… Don’t cry. (Looks at Zahir through drooping eyes thinking of all the memories with him and about Luka and Lulu). I… Want Luka… And Lulu to… Be as strong as… You.
Zahir: (Continues to cry out heavily). I can only be strong with you… Don’t leave me please Ziona… I can bring you back to them I promise… Please just stay here.
Ziona: (As her memories go to this moment, she closes her a tear going down her cheek not wanting to change a thing and mostly thinking of Zahir Luka and Lulu but wanting to be with them forever). Its… Alright even… If world apart… Our hearts are connected…. (As she says this her voice goes to a whisper barely able to say the last part as her body and hand that Zahir still holds goes limp in his hold losing consciousness).
Zahir: (feels Ziona going limp in his hold his wife then looks down) no matter the distance I will come to you… I want to hold this bond that I wanted so much… To be accepted by anyone as long as someone cared for my life, I could live happily… But then you came along and changed everything I ever knew and I’m going to be selfish one more time… Our hearts may be connected but the thought of you being gone forever… I’m not letting you go like this… Please don’t go….
Ziona: (There is no answer from her. Her eyes are closed and body unmoving as her hair blows in the breeze a little. A tear stream from before still stains on her cheek and her blood all over both of them).
Shizen: (Pulls her hood over her head looking down to hide her face as a tear falls).
Jennifer: (Looks in shock still covering her mouth as tears fall).
Kura and Yami: (Look down and deal with the sadness their own way holding the emotions in Yami looking away not being able to stand family’s being separated making him think back on his own family).
Agni: (Scrubs his ears out). Yes, yes, all the sadness but I am still waiting for something to happen here.
Jennifer: (Looks at Chazz wondering what he will do not sure of what to do either feeling helpless looking at Zahir hold Ziona like this).
Shizen: (Walks over to Zahir as he holds Ziona saying nothing with her head still down as she sits beside him placing a hand on his shoulder).
Zahir: (His energy begins to overflow heavily).
Shizen: (Sees the energy eyes widening a little but part of her expecting Zahir to lose control with Ziona like this and backs up a little facing Zahir). Nothing I can say will help you ease the pain… I know that…. (Looks at Chazz for a moment). Chazz I will stand by whatever decision you make because it is yours and yours alone… I will handle Zahir as you choose… I’m sorry. (Looks at Zahir as she says her sorry).
Jennifer: (Looks at Zahir able to tell his hearts in pain then looking at Chazz not sure if the seal should be broken but seeing it as the only option if the lives at risk are saved).
Chazz: (Holds up his hand and the seal on Agni begins to glow as it becomes slowly undone).
Agni: There we go, thank you for your cooperation dear sir.
Chazz: … I just want you to leave the island and never harm these people again.
Shizen: Leave nature alone. Never come back or hurt those here protected by nature… Or else I will kill you… Even if it kills me in the process…. (Finds it difficult saying this with head down and fists clenched wanting to strike him down right there taking every single ounce of self-control she has not to).
Agni: (The seal is undone on him, and fire energy starts to return). Yes, yes, I won’t, too boring now anyway. I have another goal in mind now so need to worry but I am a man of my word so the villagers will be set free. Better hurry along now.
Shizen: (Snaps and looks away as Agni leaves). Just get out of my sight!
Jennifer: (Walks over to Chazz knowing that must have been hard for him to do with a worried expression).
Kura and Yami: (Both glare at Agni until he leaves wanting more than anything to put an end to him now).
Chazz: (Continues looking down as he walks away with Hiki and Tori behind him).
Hiki: (Is still in her third form as she walks up to Shizen and gives her a vile). This should hopefully help with Ziona as she seems to still be alive but barely. This vile should help her and that necklace seems to be helping her…. We will be off for a little bit with master if you need us come get us.
Shizen: (Takes the vile and looks at Ziona. Her eyes widen seeing the glow of a pendant around Ziona’s neck then looking back to Hiki). Thank you… I will do what I can. (She then begins to go towards Zahir and Ziona in a rushed manor seeing Ziona’s will to hang on and the pendants protection but not knowing how long it will last). Zahir I am going to need you to snap out of it if I am to help Ziona… Listen to me Zahir, don’t lose yourself when there is still hope.
Zahir: (His energy still flows uncontrollably pushing her back as he sits there holding Ziona tightly).
Shizen: (A gust of the energy slashes at her and she dodges swiftly). Dammit Zahir listen to me! (Forces her way through the wind caused by such powerful energy trying to reach Ziona).
Jennifer: (Puts up a barrier of roots to block the energy from the sides of Shizen, doing her best to help any way she can).
Zahir: (The three energies start clashing against each other).
Shizen: (Makes her own energy clash with his in order to block the raging element. Covering her head as she shouts as loud as possible in order to try and get through to him). Dammit Zahir listen to me! Your wife is alive still, let me save her!
Zahir: (Is just holding his wife as all his element goes wild alongside his scorpion tails).
Shizen: (Shields herself with her arms as she pushes forward more being close to Zahir now. Going on her knees she ignores the pain from the elements and one of the tails slashing her in the shoulder and taking Zahir’s hand forcing it to go on Ziona’s heart so he can feel a very faint heartbeat like it is clinging to life by a thread). She is still alive Zahir! Feel and listen to her heartbeat so let me save her while there is still time!
Zahir: (The energy from him is still raging but begins to slow down as he is still holding Ziona just as tightly).
Shizen: (Keeps Zahir’s hand on Ziona’s heart so he can feel the slow heartbeat). Just focus on the life you hold in your arms because it is there Zahir. Let me help to keep it that way so you don’t have to live with a hole in your heart.
Zahir: (As the energy starts to wear down it starts to surround Ziona as it begins to cover the wound she has).
Shizen: (Loosens his hold on her gently so she can give the vile to Ziona that Hiki had given her. Once done the color in Ziona’s skin starts to come back but she still is unconscious with the pendant Zahir had made cracking. She sighs in relief having given her the vile before it was too late). Let’s get her some place she can lay down so she can recover… I won’t have to live without her. Her will is stronger than she thinks… I think it’s because of you that her will to live is strong.
Zahir: (Is crying heavily while the energy from the necklace is moving out of it like it was a ward of protection). I’m… I’m sorry….
Ziona: (Is still unconscious but starts to breathe shallowly as life comes back to her slowly).
Shizen: The same way you wish to protect her is the same way she feels about you… She loves you with all her heart so that’s why she did that… It is not your fault Zahir… It may feel like that for a long time but right now be thankful that you gave her such a powerful protection pendant… Because that’s what saved her life.
Zahir: (Is silent as he picks up Ziona and starts to walk into what’s left of the town with his head down).
Shizen: (Watches Zahir until he leaves and then sighs looking down as she thinks with her fists clenching as she thinks of Agni and what he had done). He will pay for this.
Jennifer: (Looks at Shizen worriedly as she walks closer).
Shizen: (Notices Jennifer approach her carefully and gives a small smile at least to reassure her). Child don’t worry about me. Yes, I’m upset but only because I couldn’t protect them as a leader.
Jennifer: I am sorry this happened… I wish I could have done something to stop this.
Shizen: But you helped and that is what matters. Everyone had their part and you fought bravely even with your fear of fire.
Jennifer: (Looks down but nods her understanding). I think I am getting over that fear because my friends were in danger so I couldn’t just stand there and… I just wish I could have changed it somehow.
Shizen: Well, everyone gave it their all so we cannot change what has happened… Being a leader I know you should want to protect those who look up to you, but it breaks them down inside when those you need to protect you cannot help no matter how hard you fight… It is a struggle but still I will do what I can to protect them anyway I can just like how you are.
Jennifer: (Gets a small smile while wiping her eyes). Good then that is what makes you a good leader.
Shizen: True indeed now come on, let’s see if we can repair their house. I can teach you how to help the repair go quickly using plant life.
Jennifer: (Follows Shizen to Zahir and Ziona’s house). Alright and maybe some rooms are not too damaged, I hope.
Shizen: Well, let’s see what we can do.
Back at the town Raku and Nara are taking care of the villagers and tending to any wounds. Kura uses her healing to help as Yami brings food for everyone from the supply room having made their way there to help.
Nara: Thank you for helping you two, we could use all the help we could get honestly.
Kura: No need to thank us. We will help any way we can.
Yami: (While carrying a heavy crate to the village but not seeming bothered by it). Yeah, don’t mention it.
Raku: But man, that was chaotic and crazy with how many guards we had to fight. It was chaos in town though many people did try to fight back with us, so I guess it wasn’t that bad since we did put up a good fight.
Nara: True we put up a good fight though what happened by where you were it looked like a lot of guards were there.
Kura: (Looks down a little and as does Yami). Well, we fought our hardest but… Agni was there… And Ziona…. (Stops not able to finish her sentence).
Nara: (Eyes widen in shock fearing what happened as she jumps to the worse conclusion from how it was said). You’re not saying… Please no.
Kura: She’s in critical condition… We left before we saw any more of it, so we don’t know the rest I’m sorry… Agni wounded her deeply though since she protected Zahir….
Nara: (Starts to tear up with her hand over her mouth fearing that she might have lost one of her dearest friends).
Raku: (Just looks down with his fear being more silent as he hopes the worst has not happened).
Kura: All we can do is help the town at this point and hope for the best.
Nara: (Looks greatly worried still). What about the twins? Are they alright?
Kura: Kairi took them in the beginning and ran away to hide and protect them, so they are safe.
Raku: That’s good that she took them away before things got even uglier.
Kura: Yes, we will track her down in a moment, but I believe Hiki and Tori wanted to look while they were out and wanted us to help out while they were away.
Nara: Of course, and we can watch the twins any time that is needed.
Yami: (Notices a man in the distance walking down the path to town then sees someone in their arms realizing who it is. He looks down and away not saying a word with Kura doing the same).
Nara: (Notices someone down the road as well and her eyes widen in shock seeing Zahir holding Ziona with her blood on both of their clothes. Her body is frozen in shock, sadness, and worry).
Zahir: (His energy is still covering Ziona as it closes the wound slowly healing her).
Raku: (Is unable to move or say anything from the shock he is in).
Nara: (Looks at Ziona seeing she is surrounded by energy). She is alive though… Right?
Kura: I think so, but he must be going through a lot still. I would leave them alone for now. (Looks down still).
Ziona: (Starts to twitch a little in her unconsciousness as if about to wake from a deep sleep)
Zahir: (Sits on a nearby bench that did not get damaged as badly as he waits for Ziona to wake up).
Ziona: (After a little time passes, she snuggles up to Zahir a little and then her eyes flutter open. The first thing she sees is Zahir and smiles up at him still being very tired and weak). I… Love you… I’m glad I… Can say that to… You again.
Zahir: (His tears start to run down to Ziona’s face as his head just falls on top of her). Idiot… Idiot… Don’t do something reckless like that ever again!
Ziona: (Holds Zahir close to her as she tears up). But then you would have been hurt… I’m sorry I just wanted to protect you… I’m sorry…. (Her hold on Zahir tightens as she cries as well feeling sorry she made him feel so much grief but also is glad she can be in his arms again)
Zahir: (Still cries as he holds Ziona tightly letting everything he held in out).
Ziona: (Looks at Zahir bring his face up a little so she can see it with a hand on his cheek). It’s alright, I’m here and I won’t ever leave you again. I promise… I’m so sorry
Zahir: Please don’t ever… I don’t want to lose the special bond that I hold with you… The only bond that will always mean the most to me… The only person to actually accept me… I don’t want to ever lose….
Ziona: I’m not going anywhere… And I have a family to raise with you after all. (Snuggles up to Zahir and smiles). It’s strange… I had a dream I was in this field and this man appeared and told me I couldn’t go and leave you like that after you fought so hard to reach me… He was right though I wish I knew who he was… He said he knew you well though and seemed kind.
Zahir: (Is silent as he just holds Ziona and kisses her head).
Ziona: (Looks up at Zahir and they stay like that for quite some time. Everyone lets them have their time together as they gather their things and start to try and rebuild).
Sometime had passed with wounds tended to and plenty of work ahead of them still as they rebuild. Kura finds Kairi and bring her back to the town with Zahir and Ziona still on the bench never having left as Kairi goes up to them hesitantly with crying Luka and Lulu in her arms.
Kairi: I umm do not want to want to interrupt… But I kept them safe like you had asked.
Ziona: (Looks over and smiles seeing Luka and Lulu having missed them heavily and wanting to hold them. She reaches to hold them looking down at them, glad she doesn’t have to be without her new family as she tears up holding them with Zahir and the twins calm down in their arms). Luka… Lulu….
Zahir: (Looks up at Kairi). Thank you, Kairi, for keeping them safe. I hope they were not too much trouble for you now.
Kairi: No not at all but at one point they started crying so loudly and then Luka suddenly went to sleep for a little bit. I couldn’t wake him but then he woke up again and it was back to normal.
Ziona: (Looks at Luka to make sure he is alright he is seeming healthy enough but still looks at him with worry).
Zahir: (Does the same as Ziona). Huh that’s weird… Maybe Lulu told him to be quiet? (He says jokingly to try, and everything seem less tense for them).
Kairi: (Gets a little confused as she tilts her head up at Zahir). But she kept crying so that does not make scenes.
Ziona: (Looks at Luka with some confusion, not sure why he passed out either). He seems fine to me, maybe have Shizen look at him later… But thank you Kairi, it means a lot to us that you did this… I can’t thank you enough.
Kairi: (Smiles at both Zahir and Ziona brightly). It is the least I could have done and if you need Shizen she and sis are working on trying to fix your house.
Zahir: Trying to fix our house? Huh why am I not surprised they can do that.
Kairi: There were these giant roots and plant vines, and they were building and repairing it looked really cool, but sis looked tired from doing all of that. Shizen seemed fine she just said sis needed more practice if she gets tired from that and then sis got mad, and all determined and accidentally tore a hole in the wall from one of the roots… So, she is taking a break, I guess.
Zahir: (Sighs). That sounds more like destruction than reconstruction.
Kairi: I am sure they are trying though.
Kura: (Looks at Kairi and calls her over). Could you help us over here Kairi!
Kairi: Oh coming! Bye, see you later then. (Waves to Ziona and Zahir and then runs to Kura to help).
Ziona: (Waves back while smiling back). Even if our house is destroyed, we’re still together as a family and I couldn’t ask for anything else. (Giggles and kisses Zahir and then looks at Luka and Lulu).
A little time has passed back at Zahir and Ziona’s house.
Shizen: (Still focuses on fixing the house as she sits in a meditative style)
Jennifer: (She was told to rest from the work and then sees Kairi and Kura come back and smiles).
Kura: Hello just checking on things how is the house.
Kairi: Wow it looks better than before.
Jennifer: yes the house is getting there the upstairs was not that bad so that is good, especially for the nursery.
Kairi: I am glad. (She then sees Chazz, Hiki and Tori). Hi! (Rushes at them with a big smile, ramming into Tori in a hug knocking him over being dizzy from the impact).
Jennifer: (Smiles seeing they are back then laughs a little from the impact).
Tori: (Is surprised but then smiles). Hi Kairi, how you feeling.
Hiki: (Is clinging to Chazz a little bit as he puts up his normal face).
Kairi: I am doing well, and Luka and Lulu are back with their mom and dad.
Jennifer: (Walks over to Chazz looking worried for him). Are you alright Chazz?
Chazz: (Sighs and nods with a small reassuring smile). I feel fine madam… Really, I do.
Hiki: (Looks a bit worried about this from Chazz but tries her best to not let it show while Tori does the same).
Jennifer: (Still has a worried expression as she walks with them to the house as Shizen concentrates on building with her eyes closed and plants moving all around her).
Shizen: Don’t blame yourself. It may not seem like it now, but you did the right thing and saved many. We will deal with Agni at another time but for now all there is to do is rebuild and prepare for that moment we deal with him again.
Jennifer: (Looks at Shizen with surprise but looks down knowing she has a point).
Chazz: I know I did… But still the fact that he is still out there is what is bothering me the most.
Hiki: But you did all you could master so need to feel bad… Just as Shizen said you saved innocent lives and that is what matters the most right now so cheer up alright master? (As Hiki looks at Chazz with her head tilted with a small sparkle in her eyes).
Jennifer: (Smiles reasuringly along with Hiki). Very true, everyone is safe because of you.
Shizen: Believe me, I have dealt with Agni for a very long time, and we have clashed so many times… I swear next time will be the last. He has gone too far and I vow he will pay. (She clenches her fists into the ground).
Jennifer: But until then we cannot be sad about what has happened so let’s take care of the lives we saved.
Kairi: That sounds good and let’s be sure to enjoy the happy moments.
Jennifer: Very true Kairi oh also I do not see Yami anywhere. Where is he?
Kura: (Looks down a little). He… Needed some time to himself… I tried to talk to him but he said he would talk later and that he needed a little time to think… We all deal with things in our own way and that is his.
Tori: Why what is happening with him? Is it the same from how I felt when Agni talked about my dad?
Kura: He is not taking it too well… He’s still a child but he has gone through a lot for being so young… This whole time he thought our father was always a monster because he never really knew him before that like I have… Now to find something like this out… He is having a hard time with it and everything that has happened probably is thinking about his past… I tried to talk about it with him but he shrugged and said he was fine… He does that when he has things on his mind… I could see it… I… (Still looks down as she thinks about what is probably going through Yami’s mind and gives a worried expression).
Kairi: (Looks worried as well). I hope he will be alright.
Tori: I may need to go talk to him later about this whole thing.
Kura: Alright be my guest, maybe he will listen to you.
Tori: Maybe… But I will do what I can.
Kura: (Smiles sincerely at Tori). Thank you, I appreciate it.
Shizen: I am almost done with the house, so you have a little time.
Jennifer: Here I can help.
Shizen: (Smirks). And have you made another hole in the house?
Jennifer: (Looks annoyed and embarrassed). That only happened once!
Hiki: (Laughs and as does Chazz).
Tori: Alright I’ll head over to him then.
Kairi: (Hugs Tori before he leaves). I hope you can help cheer him up.
Shizen: He’s probably upset and angry not just at Agni but at himself as well for all that has happened… Yes, it is not his fault, but it is one thing to say but another to believe it.
Kura: (Nods and looks down as she agrees).
Tori: Do you want to come with Kura since you are related with this just as much as me?
Kura: (Looks down and hesitantly shakes her head no). I already tried talking to him… I couldn’t get through to him… He might need you to talk some sense into him since he looks up to you.
Kairi: (Smiles at Tori). I guess that is why he always fights you.
Tori: (Sighs) I guess so, alright I’ll go then. (Stands up). I’ll be back with Yami in a bit.
Kura: Thank you, he may be in that dark area of the woods we trained in this morning.
Kairi: Good luck!
Tori: (Shakes his head as starts to walk in the direction they had mentioned Yami could be in).
Yami: (Is sitting in the shadows on a tree branch in his shadow form with his eyes red and glowing appearing from the shadows as he looks down. He thinks to himself with a frown as well as taking a little darkness energy from around himself as well).
Tori: (Calls up to Yami as he notices him easily once arriving in the area). Ohh Yami why you all the way up there?
Yami: (Looks down to see Tori and jumps down going out of his shadow form. He stops taking energy but eyes still black and red). Oh, hey what’s up… I’m not doing much just… needed some time alone…. (Looks down a little as he says that but tries not to show it and shrug it off).
Tori: I would hope so because anyone would after going through this type of day now.
Yami: I just. (Sits down under the tree as he gets annoyed with himself). Things he said… Guess it got to me….
Tori: (Sighs as he sits across from him). Yeah, I know I wasn’t exactly calm myself.
Yami: Don’t see how that’s possible… Just all this time… I thought my father was a monster… when really, he was a just controlled by a monster… I don’t know what he was like before all of this, hell even I caused his grief so how could I know… Because of it all these bad things have happened not just to my family but so many more and I knew because I was hunted for that but… I don’t blame them. I hated my dad to… But to know that he was made that way to hurt so many… I wanted to kill Agni right there and you probably did too for my grandpa…. (Gets angry and punches the ground making a small crater form with his head lowered). I just can’t stand that he gets to do stuff like that and not be treated like a monster like I was for just existing!
Tori: I know and yeah, I was mad, hell I was more than mad… I wanted his head on a silver platter which caused me to become that third form. I just couldn’t stand that so many innocent people were hurt in that incident, but I can say this when we find him again we can make sure that we take him down for sure.
Yami: Save some of the fighting for me then… He even asked me to join him… I won’t make the same mistake my dad did, that’s like calling me stupid… But if I was alone still on the streets like before… I probably would have and then the whole thing with my dad would happen again with me…. (Lifts up his hand and looks at it). Do I really have a monster like that in me that he saw…? I have the same ability as my dad probably even stronger because I also have to live off it and can’t give it back… So, does that mean I would have been worse than him…? (Frowns as he thinks out loud).
Tori: (Puts his hands on Yami’s shoulders). Even if you did now, I know everyone would just drag you back and if you’re taken from us than we will come get you in a heartbeat.
Yami: (Looks at Tori and smiles a little). I’ll take that as a promise though if they even try taking me you better believe I’ll put up a fight every step of the way. (Gets his normal attitude back as he says this with a grin).
Tori: (Smiles as well as sunlight from the sunset shines through the forest). Good because if you didn’t than I wouldn’t be willing to fight someone so weak then.
Yami: (Smirks and stands). Hey, I’ll fight you any time even with that third form thing and I’ll win this time so bring it.
Tori: (Laughs). Yes, yes whatever you say but let’s head back now alright?
Yami: Alright…. (Starts walking alongside Tori and smiles). And I guess can say the wings were kind of cool.
Tori: (Leans over towards Yami to listen to the comment better the next time with a smirk). What was that Yami?
Yami: You heard me, I’m not repeating and only a little cool.
Tori: Wow the first real compliment I ever got from you… You sure you aren’t taken over by Agni?
Yami: (Shouts grumpily and annoyed like he normally would). Hey not cool, as if he could control me and why would I say something stupid like that if I were!
Tori: (Just laughs as he keeps walking). To see if you were back to normal yet so I guess you are now.
Yami: Yeah, I guess so but still not cool. (Punches Tori in the arm jokingly as he laughs a little).
Kura: (Sees Tori and Yami coming back and stands up to great them). I see Tori was able to talk some sense into you?
Yami: Hey shut it… I could have gotten over it on my own.
Kura: Yes, but it would of taken much longer but I am glad you are feeling better now. (Looks at Tori). Thank you for talking to him, I hope he wasn’t too much trouble.
Yami: (Gets grumpy and annoyed). Hey not cool, I’m not that much trouble.
Kura: How many times have you tried to win against Tori?
Yami: Hey I would have won those fights!
Tori: Yes, yes you would have won if you were stronger than me.
Yami: Bring it, I’ll fight you right now!
Shizen: Try not to destroy the house over there if you do fight.
Kura: Yes, perhaps another time but Yami. When you can fight me and win then you might be a match for Tori.
Yami: You say that like you’re stronger than him.
Kura: (Looks at Tori with a smirk and shrugs). Who knows though until I fight him I would say that I am stronger, unless he would like to prove otherwise? (Smiles like she had not suggested the challenge at all).
Tori: (Hits her head). Shush it, I will handle you two later but right now we are focusing on the island alright? Good.
Kura: (Grabs her head then looks at Tori a bit scarily and pulls on his ear doing the same to Yami). Alright but this is payback.
Yami: Hey sis let go, what did I do!
Tori: (Gets out of it). Not the time for it.
Kura: I agree but. (Seals Tori in a barrier and walks away).
Yami: She’s evil.
Kura: (Hears Yami say that and locks him in one as well).
Yami: Hey no fair let me out!
Tori: (locks Kura in a paralysis seal with a high stilled lock).
Kura: (Falls over has trouble moving her legs). Hey not cool! (Tries to absorb darkness from a shadow to get the strength to break the seal)
Yami: (Bursts out in laughter). Ha your trapped too!
Kura: you know I’m not removing the barrier, right?
Yami: Oh, come on!
Tori: (Slowly undoes the barrier himself). I’m happy Hiki taught me some things about barriers.
Kura: (As she tries to break the seal with a smirk). Glad I learned how to undo seals, though this one’s tough.
Yami: (Rams into the barrier making himself a little dizzy). Hey, tell me how you’re doing that.
Tori: Alright are we done here; I’ll fight you two later
Kura: Anytime. (Let’s down Tori’s barrier but not Yami’s).
Yami: Hey what about me!
Kura: No, you are still in timeout.
Yami: Not cool let me out!
Kura: Figure it out yourself. I made yours weaker on purpose.
Yami: (Gets annoyed and absorbs a little dark energy to try and punch his way through the barrier). Hey I’m not weak!
Tori: Calm down Yami and focus, your weakness is that you allow your emotions to run you and not your brain. Now calm down and breathe in and out. Don’t rely on absorbing darkness so much, it makes it easier to see what makes you strong.
Yami: I’m breathing right now and I’m not taking darkness.
Kura: Yes, you are, you just don’t realize it.
Yami: (Notices he is and tries to slowly stop). Oh sorry.
Kura: And it’s not that you’re breathing it’s that you need to focus and stay calm.
Yami: (Tries to punch the barrier again to break through). I’m focused on beating both of you in a fight!
Kura: (Sighs). Well, it’s a lesson that is hard for him.
Tori: (Sighs and shakes his head). Focus on getting out of there first, nothing else. Another problem is that your easily angered. If you can hold that back it would make things easier for you in a fight.
Yami: (Shouts grumpily and crosses his arms). Hey I’m not angry!
Kura: You’re yelling right now.
Yami: (Realizes he’s being proven right and lowers his voice). Fine….
Kura: Good now focus on your energy in that punch you do with a burst of energy. That should shatter it for now.
Yami: Oh, why didn’t you say so. (Grins and focuses the energy into his fist punching the barrier and making it shatter). Cool I’ll remember that.
Kura: Though it was a weak barrier so using force like you normally do can shatter it easily.
Yami: It worked, didn’t it?
Tori: (Sighs). I guess it did then but alright at least you got out of it.
Yami: Let’s get going, Kura you still stuck?
Kura: I have been breaking the seal slowly. (As the seal on her slowly cracks making her able to stand stiffly but moving still a little difficult).
Yami: Well, come on already. (Runs ahead to the house).
Kura: (Sighs). He always has had trouble with his emotions. He always has, same with taking dark energy since it works with his emotions… It’s not his fault. He was born with a strong ability that he needs to live… Though I have to say he has improved a lot from how it was before we were separated.
Tori: (Sighs again and shakes his head). True he is improving vastly, more than from the first time we met again. When he first contracted to Kairi his emotions were all over the place but now that he is learning slowly and experiencing things he never did before he is learning and improving more and more.
Kura: I agree, and I am proud of him… Though I can tell he fears becoming like his father… He always has and today only made that fear stronger though he tries to hide it… I just want him to experience being the little kids that he is still. (Looks down a little thinking of Agni’s words to Yami to join him and wanting to protect Yami from such a fate).
Tori: Well, if that fear ever overcomes him then we can just knock sense into him to bring him back to normal.
Kura: (Laughs a little). Yes, that is true and besides he’s too stubborn to follow Agni. He would fight him every step of the way anyway possible… That’s why his fear will not happen, his will is too strong to let it happen.
Tori: (Laughs). True we will see that for a fact. He will be as stubborn as always.
Kura: Of course. (The seal on her back breaks allowing her to walk normally). Now let’s catch up and help anyway we can. You spent enough time messing around. (Laughs a little as she blames the whole stop on Tori).
Tori: Yes, yes whatever you say mis throw us into a barrier but then get caught into a seal as payback.
Kura: Now the details of how this stop happened are not important. You take the blame for making me want to seal both of you in a barrier. (Smiles innocently and a little scarily).
Tori: (Sighs). Whatever, you don’t scare me Kura, but we do need to go help out.
Kura: Oh, that usually works on Yami. Well, this will be settled at a later date. (Bows then runs off at a fast speed to the house).
As everyone gets ready to help in the village Shizen stands and dusts her hands off being done with the house. It almost looks as good as new with the upstairs having little damage done to it thankfully. Seeing Zahir walk to the house with Ziona in his arms, so she doesn’t walk having little energy as she holds Luka and Lulu close to her.
Shizen: (Smiles with relief seeing Ziona awake). Well, I am glad that you are awake Ziona. You gave everyone quite a scare.
Ziona: (Looks down regretfully having made everyone worry about her). I-I’m sorry I didn’t mean to.
Shizen: (Her smile grows as she pats Ziona on the head). As long as you are safe.
Zahir: Yeah, and Shizen do you mind if I stay with Ziona for now. Sorry that I won’t be helping with the village.
Chazz: (Pats Zahir’s shoulder). No need to worry. I think everyone can agree that you need a break from all this.
Shizen: I can agree with that as well. Even if you did want to go, I would tell you to stay with your wife and kids. Just let me check on Ziona and the twin’s health when they lay down. Kairi had mentioned Luka had fainted, so I want to check on him and Lulu before I go.
Zahir: (Tears up a bit but only Ziona see it). Alright, let’s head inside then.
Ziona: (Looks up at Zahir kissing his cheek and wiping the tears that form away. They head into the house as she whispers to him). It’s alright… Zahir I’m not going anywhere now.
Kairi: (Follows Shizen who had told her to come along as everyone else smiles relieved seeing Ziona is alright).
Zahir: (Goes to sit down on the couch with Ziona just holding her tightly).
Ziona: (Snuggles up to Zahir with Luka and Lulu).
Shizen: (Goes to the kitchen to see if any herbs had survived to give Zahir and Ziona a little space).
Kairi: (Looks at Zahir and Ziona and smiles at how they are with each other).
Shizen: I would have Ziona lay in bed in a little bit to get some rest. She probably needs it.
Ziona: No, I’m fine. (Despite what she says she looks tired looking like she would fall asleep in Zahir’s arms if she allowed herself to).
Zahir: But… But… Alright I will take her upstairs then, no problem. (Stands up with Ziona as he makes his way upstairs).
Shizen: Don’t worry, you will still be with her and can lay by her side.
Kairi: (Begins to follow but Shizen stops her before she follows behind Zahir up the stairs).
Shizen: Let them have a few moments at least.
Kairi: Oh alright. (Stays downstairs as she tries to help Shizen).
Ziona: (Looks up at Zahir concerned as he carries his family beginning to get teary eyed knowing how much she must have scared him). Are you alright? Are you tired…? And I’m not going anywhere now I promise… I’m sorry to worry you like that… I didn’t mean to… I just wanted to protect you.
Zahir: (He shakes his head as they get into the bedroom). No, it’s fine now. I just feel a bit clingy sorry, but I know… Want to what’s funny? You were the one that kept hearing that from me. Now it’s the other way around… Kind of funny in a way.
Ziona: It’s fine, I don’t mind at all. (Kisses Zahir’s cheek). And there’s no need to be sorry… No matter what our hearts are connected from the first day we met and became even stronger on our wedding day.
Zahir: (Laughs a little bit). True they have been… And I don’t ever plan on them ever being apart ever again. (As he lays Ziona on the bed with the sleeping twins).
Ziona: I remember… Standing next to you… So handsome and hearing you say you would have me as your wife… Best moment of my life… Well maybe second now. (Looks at Zahir then down at Luka and Lulu and thinking of when she had met them for the first time about this time the day before and kisses their heads).
Zahir: Yes, it was but any time of being with you is amazing.
Ziona: It really is… I cherish every moment. (Rests her head on Zahir’s shoulder being very tired).
Zahir: (Smiles as he kisses Ziona’s head).
Ziona: (Drifts off to sleep as Luka and Lulu sleep in her arms. Staying like that as she rests peacefully on Zahir and after a few minutes a light knock is heard).
Zahir: Alright you can come in now Shizen. They are all falling asleep.
Shizen: (Walks in with Kairi behind her staying quiet so not to wake Ziona, Luka or Lulu as she holds some herbs in a small bowl turned into a liquid). Good I won’t be long then; I just brought some herbs up and just want to check on Ziona. How is she?
Zahir: (Nods his head that she is alright).
Shizen: (Comes over and feels Ziona’s forehead and pulse checking on her health anyway possible just in case still. Frowning a little as she focuses her hands making them glow green as she speaks). You’re a very lucky man Zahir… Very lucky indeed…. (Holds the pendant to inspect it a little). Or perhaps it is not luck at all, perhaps it is you being very smart.
Zahir: I’m not sure what you’re talking about.
Shizen: This pendant, you must have given it to her… It is a pendant of protection where the stronger the energy the more it can do to protect… They usually cost a lot of money and this one is high quality and rarer. It must have cost quite a bit and even more of your energy to perform such a miracle.
Kairi: (Looks amazed as she peaks over to see the pendant). Wow a necklace can do that?
Shizen: Yes, there are, shops that sell all types of magical things in the spirit world quite commonly but this is a rare one to find.
Zahir: Well, I had a lot of time, so I tried making one and I guess it worked out well.
Shizen: Well, you did exceptionally well on this one, though now it is a broken pendant with no power. (Shows the pendant that has a crack going down through the center). I would say this kind of pendant can save a life once but then it becomes powerless.
Zahir: That is unfortunate that it is broken, maybe I could make another one for everyone though finding the needed items will be a challenge.
Shizen: The reason it is so rare is because they take such skill and rare material to make. I am surprised you figured out a skill like that when usually metal elements have a talent for it but maybe you are one who is just a natural. … This pendant may have saved her life and even helped her in birthing your children.
Zahir: well, I did get help sometimes from some earth spirits I had met along the way and… I see… (Grows quiet as he processes everything Shizen just said).
Shizen: That makes sense. (Looks at Zahir knowing he worries but not wanting him to not know his wife’s condition). … Though she will be weak now and maybe for quite some time. She will need more help and to not push herself…. (Says quietly so Kairi doesn’t hear fully). … A pendant won’t save her if there’s a next time.
Zahir: (Laughs with small tears in his eyes while gently rubbing Ziona’s cheeks). Then I won’t let her… Whatever she will do I will do with her… if she needs to run somewhere… I’ll carry her there… If she needs help holding something I will be her strong man… If she falls down, I’ll just pick her back up again… No matter what she does… I will be there to make sure she won’t feel weak and helpless ever and ever allow her to be blamed for things. she can blame it all on me if she wants too… I don’t care how I do it or how much it hurts me… All I want to see is that she is smiling and know that I will always be by her side.
Shizen: (Smiles at Zahir). And that is why you have such a strong bond. Both of you want to make each other smile and be by each other’s side. It has been like that far before you were married, in fact when you first met is when it started.
Kairi: (Smiles at Zahir as well). You two are so sweet together. I hope that I have a bond as strong as yours with someone one day.
Shizen: (Whispers with a small laugh though Zahir hearing it clearly). She does, she just has not figured out the bond completely yet.
Zahir: Yeah, it has been like that hasn’t it and… Kairi to form a bond with some you have pour everything you have into it to make sure that it will slowly grow.
Kairi: (Thinks to herself about what she said and instantly thinks of Tori then smiles). I understand and I kind of want to help that happen then… But what was your wedding like? Can you tell me about it?
Shizen: (Laughs). Now that’s something I will never forget is marrying you two. Zahir you had the biggest smile I think I have ever seen on you.
Kairi: Wait you married them Shizen?
Shizen: Yes, as the leader of the nature spirits I had the authority to after all.
Zahir: And oh boy did I, I never expected to see Ziona in a wedding dress. That was something to see alright and hmm maybe I could tell you about it.
Kairi: (Smiles brightly at Zahir). I would like to hear about it, it sounds like it was really sweet.
Zahir: (Thinks to himself for a moment). Alright I’ll tell you everything I can… It all started in Spring….
Zahir spends the rest of the evening telling Kairi about his and Ziona’s wedding as a flashback starts of the love and bond that grew stronger on that happy day. It’s a very special day for two poison spirits as they get ready for a ceremony that will make them husband and wife. A few of their closest friends had joined them since poison spirits are now in hiding and Shizen proudly agreed to be the one to wed them at the altar to make it official. As the last hour before Ziona walks down the aisle she is getting ready as two of her closest friends help her into the dress and do her hair. Ziona feels a little overwhelmed by all the pampering but is told to just let them help since it is her big day. Nara and Hana help Ziona as they wear their bridesmaids’ dresses which are simple yet elegant being light purple with deeper purple borders and a dark purple sash on the waist and both of their hair styled up in a fancy bun and ponytail. Nara has her black hair in a braided and dark purple eyes filled with excitement for Ziona. Hana’s green eyes are filled with the same excitement and her brown hair in a ponytail with a pink flower in her hair being the one who decorated the area best she could.
Nara: Wait should her hair be up or down?
Hana: Hmm I think down and with some curl at the end. Zahir will like that I think since she always has her hair up loosely.
Nara: Ooh that’s true and I love the dress. It will look so pretty on her.
Ziona: (Heard from the small curtain as she slips into her wedding dress). This is so much… Really, I can do it, you don’t need to-.
Nara: Don’t be ridiculous. You must be spoiled and treated like a princess, after all it is your wedding day.
Ziona: My wedding day… I can’t believe it’s happening. (Smiles as she says this more to herself than anything else).
Hana: It really is, you’re not nervous, are you?
Ziona: I-I couldn’t be happier… because I get to be with Zahir the rest of my life… But maybe a little nervous.
Nara: You two are so cute together and I can tell you care deeply about each other. I’m so happy for you.
Hana: What about you Nara, will you be having your own wedding one day? I know you and Raku started dating so hmm will you be having a moment like this with him.
Nara: What, no way! I’m never getting married not going to happen!
Hana: Who knows maybe one day you will change your mind. I mean Raku is a good-looking guy and you make a good couple so maybe he’s the one who changes your mind.
Nara: Well, I do like him a lot I guess…. (Looks down a little with a smile and blush).
Hana: (Nudges Nara with a teaseful smile and giggle). Hmm could you say you love him?
Nara: (Stutters a little being taken off guard). I-I think so? W-well I mean a little I mean maybe. Hey, don’t make me think like that! I don’t want to get married, I never will!
Hana: You know he came in a moment ago, right? (Smiles like she had done nothing to get Nara worked up like this).
Nara: (Looks completely caught by surprise as she turns around seeing Raku by the door looking dumbfounded).
Hana: (Covers up a big smile as she giggles a little from her own little mischievousness).
Raku: Umm… Well then… I’ll be leaving now then. (As Raku begins to leave).
Nara: (Still looks dumbfounded but begins to ramble). I didn’t mean it like that or umm I mean look umm I like you a lot umm maybe love I mean still trying to figure out what that is but I enjoy my time with you a lot. (Blushes being embarrassed and covers her mouth before she says anything else).
Hana: (Smiles making Raku stay). Well, that was a long way to say I love you but Raku do you see yourself having a day like this with Nara hmm?
Nara: (Blushes even more but a part of her imagines the wedding with Raku and tries to wave it away stubbornly).
Raku: … Umm… Umm…. (Walks towards Nara as he kisses her). I love you too… See you in a bit. (Dashes out as soon as he gets his words out).
Nara: (Is stunned as she blushes to Raku saying he loves her, being speechless).
Hana: (Giggles greatly). See he loves you too and with a kiss to. It’s so cute.
Nara: (Her mind breaks out of its daze of love and glares at Hana). Still, it was mean to put me on the spot like that!
Ziona: (As she still changes behind a curtained covered area). I-I think it’s sweet… I think he cares a lot about you so I’m happy for you.
Nara: (Smiles at how sweetly Ziona puts it). Thank you Ziona.
Hana: You two really are cute couples.
Nara: What about you Hana? Will you find a man of your own?
Hana: Not at the moment but if someone has my interest, I will tell you.
Ziona: I-I’m sure they are out there for you just like how I have Zahir. (Smiles as she thinks of the bond between her and Zahir).
Nara: You really are meant for each other, and this day is so cute but are you done putting on the dress. I want to see.
Ziona: I-I think so.
Hana: Well, come on, we want to see.
Ziona: (Steps out with a slight blush pulling away the curtain. She is wearing her white wedding gown being simple but fitting her style not needing anything fancy. The white fabric being slimming and with light purple borders and a light purple sash. The dress fabric is silky and the skirt traveling down in a wave like pattern).
Nara: (Both Hana and she look amazed and in awe at how beautiful Ziona looks). Ziona you look amazing.
Hana: Zahir will definitely be blown away by how beautiful you look.
Ziona: (Blushes shyly but smiles). T-thank you….
Shizen: (Comes into the room and instantly smiles seeing Ziona in her wedding dress). My, my Ziona you look quite beautiful.
Ziona: Oh, Shizen I umm thank you for making this possible.
Shizen: Of course, you two belong together so I am happy to have a part in it.
Ziona: I-I still can’t believe it is really happening… I-I couldn’t be happier.
Shizen: Yes in about an hour or so you and Zahir will be husband and wife.
Ziona: (Smiles just at the thought still wrapping her head around it).
Nara: It really is nice, but we need to hurry if there’s only an hour, so Ziona let us help with your hair.
Hana: Yes, we must pamper you so come here.
Ziona: B-but-. (Before she can protest Nara and Hana pull her with them).
Shizen: Enjoy it Ziona, you deserve it on your big day. I will check on Zahir for you now so excuse me.
Ziona: T-tell him I said hi.
Shizen: I will, now see you in a little bit so I can make you two husband and wife. (Leaves the room as Ziona smiles being excited).
Meanwhile Zahir is supposed to be getting ready by putting on his suit. He is first waiting for his best man Raku who had checked on how things are going with Ziona since he was not allowed to see her.
Zahir: (As he is wondering where Raku went since he left so quickly, he is not even getting dressed just sitting by the window seeing everyone coming in. He still can’t believe this is happening. He never had any dream of this happening since he had believed in past that Ziona did not see him as a guy but just a friend, yet he could accept that. Raku then comes running in with a huge smile on his face and he being startled at first). Whoa, whoa there Raku, why in such rush and with a big smile huh. Did something good happen?
Raku: (As he turns around to Zahir while breathing heavily). I… Said it… I really said… it.
Zahir: (Laughs a little bit while being confused). Said what?
Raku: I… Said I… Loved Nara and… Then kissed her.
Zahir: (Rubs Raku’s back as he pats it in a hug). Ohh good job Raku… About damn time you said it.
Shizen: (Laughs a little as she leans on the door frame). I heard you say it to her and perhaps there will be another wedding in the future for you and Nara.
Raku: I… Think I… Would like that….
Shizen: Hard part is convincing her though since even as a little girl she refused to get married ever… Perhaps you will be the one to change her mind.
Raku: (Scratches his head and looks away in embarrassment).
Zahir: (Laughs a little bit). Well, that will be definitely something to see. That would be a miracle but who knows he may be.
Shizen: But enough about that when the man getting married in an hour is not even dressed yet. Might want to hurry at this point, are you feeling nervous at all?
Zahir: Oh yeah… Well, umm I’m still in disbelief. I never thought that this type of thing would be happening to me at all.
Shizen: Well Ziona is the same way I think when I just stopped there but she is excited…. (Pats Zahir on the shoulder and smiles). She has always loved you she was just too shy and insecure to tell you… But now in her words, she couldn’t be happier.
Zahir: (Smiles hugely). And neither could I and now I should go get this tux on.
Shizen: (Grabs the tux hanging in the room and hands it to Zahir). You really should or else you may be late for your own wedding.
Zahir: Nah I can’t be late something this important. Give me 10 minutes and I’ll be done.
Shizen: (Laughs). Very well and I may suggest a purple tie. It will match Ziona’s dress well.
Zahir: I already had one set up just in case and knowing her I thought she would have something purple.
Shizen: The dress is quite nice; she looks beautiful in it and right now her bridesmaids are pampering her though she is a little timid with that sort of thing.
Zahir: (Laughs as heads into the dressing room). Yeah, she always was with that type of thing. Wasn’t something she liked to happen.
Shizen: Well today is different. She cannot say no to it, but I must get the ceremony ready so do you need anything before that? If not, the next time you see me is when I make you and Ziona husband and wife.
Zahir: (Gets out with his black with small purple highlights in the tux with the purple tie). No, I should be good for now.
Shizen: (Pauses briefly seeing Zahir in the suit and then can’t help but get a big smile). Very well then, I will be the first walking down the aisle, then you followed by Raku beside Nara and Hana at the end who insisted on being the flower girl as well. The last will be Ziona but you won’t see her until you are at the other end of the aisle so you will have to wait a few minutes. I have to say you will be blown away by how amazing she looks and that she will think you look very handsome… I know it.
Zahir: Well, she is always beautiful to me but I’m excited to see how amazing she will look for I already know she will look beyond beautiful but alright.
Shizen: I know but for now get whatever you need done before its time, good luck. (Leaves through the door to get things ready passing Ziona’s room peaking in seeing Nara and Hana help). Hmm the dress will look even better than before.
Shizen walks to the main area where the wedding will be held at the beginning of the aisle. A dark purple curtain that is open for now shows its way to the aisle with purple flowers everywhere since Hana decorated the area. Though the ceremony is not that big being in a hidden area doing the ceremony in the middle of the forest. She greets a few guests and looks at a book that has her speech and what to say during the ceremony one last time though she does not like doing things by the book. She smiles at her memories of watching Zahir and Ziona grow up all leading to this day where they exchange vows and share their lives together. The time has almost come so she places the book at the end of the aisle where she will stand as it is about to start. She heads to the other end closing the curtain and waiting for Zahir and Raku hoping that Zahir is on time being ten minutes before the ceremony starts).
Zahir: (Starts to come towards the place where the wedding is taking place as he is being stopped by people just coming in and asking how he feels and all sorts of similar things as he gets closer to the decorated forest).
Shizen: (Sees Zahir and waves him over waving Raku over as well). Hello Zahir, are you ready it starts in a few minutes? I have to say Hana did a good job decorating the place. (Opens the curtain a little so Zahir and Raku can see the aisle and the purple and white decorations in the green forest area looking like Hana’s best work with designing areas yet having paid attention to every detail).
Zahir: (Sighs). Right now, I’m now sure how I feel but I know one thing for sure is that I’m ready to have my life with Ziona.
Shizen: You will know how you feel once you see Ziona coming down the aisle oh and Raku since you are the best man, I leave you in charge of the rings until I ask for them. (Holds the wedding rings out for Raku to hold).
Raku: (Laughs nervously as he does his best to have a solid grip on the rings).
Hana: (Suddenly is seen running with a panicked look up to Shizen as she breathes heavily). Umm… we have… a slight problem… the bride had a… panic attack and passed out…
Shizen: (Eyes widen looking serious). What happened Hana? Why was she panicking and the ceremony is about to start there’s no time for panic now.
Hana: She… Realized all… Eyes would be… On her.
Shizen: (Sighs). Of course, she did but she realizes this now? Try to calm her down until I make it there.
Hana: (Nods and runs back the way she came).
Shizen: (Sighs again). And so close to the ceremony to I hope it is not held back too long. (Turns to Zahir and smiles reassuringly seeing him begin to feel an urgency in his worry). No need to worry, she is fine. I expected she would not like being the center of attention but at the worse the wedding is just a few moments later than scheduled but you will go as scheduled since I have a feeling it will all work out.
Zahir: (Is conflicted as he wants to run to Ziona’s side but knows he isn’t supposed too. He isn’t sure what to do).
Shizen: (Places a hand on Zahir’s shoulder). She will be fine as long as she thinks of you. If she focuses on that then everything will be fine so excuse me. I will check for you and tell you how she is, Raku makes sure he doesn’t leave. He can’t see his bride just yet. (In an instant is gone moving very quickly to Ziona’s dressing room. Once She enters the room, she sees Ziona looking scared having woken from passing out and smiles hugging her). It’s fine Ziona, it’s not too many people and there’s only one you should be focusing on and that is your husband to be… Be brave for him so you can live your life with him like you have always dreamed. Just keep your eyes on him at the end of that aisle.
Nara: That’s right, just when you go out there only look at Zahir and handsome he looks. That will calm you down.
Ziona: (Still blushes but nods closing her eyes to picture it and try and breath easily). I-I do love him so much… And if it means I can be together with him then I will do whatever I can… Thank you I’m fine now… I-I just needed to panic at least once I guess.
Shizen: Well good because this wedding will not be canceled if I have anything to say about it. You two waited for this day so impatiently after all.
Ziona: (Gives a shy yet determined look). O-of course not, I will do my best.
Shizen: Glad to hear it, then in 5 minutes come to the ceremony. Your husband to be goes down the aisle-. (Looks at the time and her eyes widening). Now! (She zooms out of the room and back to Zahir with a smile). Alright Zahir she’s fine and ready to go but it’s now your time to walk down the aisle. Are you ready? You follow behind me after I am halfway down the aisle and Raku you go with Nara next when she gets here with Hana and Ziona last.
Zahir: (Is surprised by Shizen showing up and saying so much so quickly). Oh yeah, shoot I got a wedding to be in!
Shizen: (Grins and pats Zahir on the back). Well come on! Don’t just stand there and remember to take a breath before you get out there. (Hugs Zahir but it is a tight and careing hug and then walks down the aisle with a smile looking back at him once she’s far enough nodding slightly to give him the alright to go).
Zahir: (As he is about to head into the aisle Raku grabs his shoulder really quickly).
Raku: (Grins hitting Zahir in the shoulder lightly). Are you ready for the biggest event in your life with the girl of your dreams?
Zahir: (Grins right back at Raku). The funny thing is that I don’t need to dream anymore. I’m going to have it come true right now.
Shizen: (Makes it to the end of the aisle and sees Zahir’s big smile as he walks out. She picks up the book to re-read what she needs to say but is still a little annoyed not liking going straight from what a book tells her… Or being told what to do in general. She sighs and brushes it off smiling at Zahir as he stands on one side of her). Now just a minute or two of waiting for the others to bring the bride… I’m happy for both of you, your connection to each other are one that is not seen often.
Nara: (Looks around the corner seeing Raku). Did Zahir go already?
Hana: (Peaks out as well anxiously).
Raku: Yeah, he did. He just went out.
Hana: Great, it’s alright to come out Ziona. (Takes Ziona’s hand and she walks with her and Nara out so Raku can see her as she blushes and smiles as they get ready).
Nara: (Blushes and holds Raku’s arm to get ready to head down the aisle next). This is it, are you ready to go?
Raku: I’ll always be ready with you.
Nara: (Blushes but smiles at Raku kissing him on the cheek before they walk out). And I will be ready with you by my side but don’t get any ideas. Still not getting married.
Shizen: (Stands at the other end of the aisle as Raku and Nara walk out and smile at Zahir). Looks like it’s time.
Zahir: I guess it is then. (Stands a bit stiffly and awkwardly with how anxious he feels).
Nara: (Walks down the aisle then at the end parts from Raku going to one side as Raku stands by Zahir’s side as the best man and she stands on the side where Ziona will stand beside Zahir as she smiles at him).
Hana: (Comes out next and with her power makes flowers grow as she walks, and petals fall behind her once making it to the other end. The music then starts for the bride to come out).
Shizen: This is it Zahir. The moment you will treasure forever of seeing your bride for the first time. Last chance to call it off. (Says jokingly knowing he couldn’t be happier).
Zahir: (Laughs and shakes his head). I don’t think I could even think of doing that having gotten this far already.
Shizen: (Laughs a little then looks at the other end for Ziona).
Ziona: (As the curtains lift, she walks out her white silk dress fitting her perfectly with the light purple borders and sash on her waist. The skirt is a wave style flowing down and her hair flowing down her back and sides. She has a sheer veil on her head with a small tiara holding it with light purple gems as she blushes looking at Zahir with a sweet smile).
Zahir: (His mouth is open as he looks at his soon to be wife. He is so surprised that he can’t find the words to express his feelings beside). … Beautiful….
Shizen: (Grins seeing Zahir’s reaction as everyone looks at Ziona in awe of how beautiful she looks).
Ziona: (Even as she walks to be beside him, she can’t stop looking at Zahir as if in their own world. No one around them just each other as soon to be husband and wife that fact making her smile at him even more).
Zahir: (Is doing the same as he stares at Ziona not that surprised of how amazing she looks but it is still more then he could ever imagine. It reminds him of the day he met her at a town party when they were kids where the girls came in summer dresses, and he just watched from a distance but as he did that he was feeling left out as the town was getting ready for fireworks. A meet was destined to happen from how clearly Ziona stood out to him from everyone else).
Ziona: (Stands beside Zahir and continues to smile saying to Zahir once down the aisle completely). I-it really happening… I get to be with you forever.
Zahir: (Has just as big a smile towards Ziona). I was planning to anyways.
Ziona: (Blushes and looks at Zahir until Shizen interrupts them).
Shizen: Sorry to break a perfect moment but are you ready for me to begin the ceremony or do you still want to wave a white flag.
Ziona: (Gives a confused look on the last part Shizen says but nods wanting to start and be able to call Zahir her husband).
Zahir: (Chuckles a little bit). No, I’m not stopping.
Shizen: Good now let’s get you two married already. (Opens a book but then frowns). You know what I spent every moment looking over this book and how to do this and you know what…. (Throws the book backwards and it lands in a lake behind the altar). I never followed books like that so this will be from memory and anything else that comes to mind. I don’t need a book to tell me how to make you two husband and wife.
Ziona: (Is even more confused and looks at Zahir not sure what to think of what just happened).
Hana: (Whispers to herself as she sighs). I knew giving Shizen a book to read off was a bad idea.
Nara: (Whispers back to her). You thought Shizen would follow the book?
Zahir: (Laughs a little bit and so does Raku). Meh who needs a book for something like this.
Raku: (Hits Zahir’s head really quickly). You do idiot.
Shizen: (Laughs a little bit as well). No, no Zahir has it correct but let’s see if I really need a book when I have my memory. (Takes a breath and then smiles at both Zahir and Ziona as she starts). Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Zahir and Ziona in matrimony and therefore is not to be entered into lightly but passionately, lovingly, and solemnly. Into this these two people present now to be joined. If any person can show just cause, why they may not be joined together let them speak now and if they do, they will have to answer to me, and will be thrown in the lake with the book.
Ziona: (Hides her giggles with her hand at the last part Shizen states).
Hana: Umm…. Sounds like there are no options there. (A sweat mark forms same with Zahir, Raku and Nara).
Shizen: Glad no one is against this wedding then since both of you are meant to be together. (Looks at Ziona). Ziona when you were a young child you never talked to anyone being shy and timid but from the first time you met Zahir you were able to talk and open up to him. That is how I knew that he was the one you would give your heart to.
Ziona: (Smiles at Shizen then Zahir with a small blush as she remembers her moments with Zahir and opening up to him many times).
Shizen: (Looks at Zahir). Zahir or should I say my little nickname for you the little scorpion you always felt left out as a child but then you saw Ziona and knew from that first time seeing her that you loved her and did everything you could to spend every moment you could with her since then. That has not changed, in fact that connection has grown stronger, and it will continue to grow stronger as you share your lives together.
Zahir: (Smiles as he looks at Ziona and her back at him knowing all of the things Shizen states are true).
Shizen: Now that, that is said I think it is time for the vows and I think Zahir you are to go first so when you are ready speak your heart out to Ziona.
Ziona: (Looks at Zahir with a sweet smile and small blush).
Zahir: (As he looks at Ziona and then smiles hugely, he opens his mouth to speak). Well in the past on the hill above the town I saw this girl from across my way… No words were spoken at first, we didn’t know who we were, so we acted as strangers… Then one day you ask me of who I was since you had seen me quite often on that hill. To my surprise you were one of the first people that didn’t run away from me. I ready for it to happen but then we sat next to each other as we just looked into the stars. Not knowing to me I would be waiting for you to come to that same hill every so often since out of nowhere you had started popping into my mind. I just couldn’t get you to leave it no matter what I did so feelings began to grow more and more. Every day when I saw you, I was excited and when I didn’t I thought you were getting tired of me but then you proved me wrong every time. And your smile, oh gosh your smile it shined as bright as the sun but as gentle as the moon so… I have question for you Ziona… Are you ready to walk together hand in hand for as long as we live?
Ziona: (Blushes heavily and becomes teary eyed as she looks at Zahir with the biggest smile she has ever had). Of course, I am because I love you… Yes, some thought you were scary but when I saw you, I didn’t see someone scary. I saw someone who was lonely like I felt and since then I could open up to you no matter how timid I was or how long it took me to get my words out. You listened to me no matter what… I remember when we first found out we loved each other in that secret base we had as kids that we would play imaginary games… It was the best moment… Well second best now of my life because I got to finally be able to share my feeling for you… I love you Zahir and our hearts will always be connected… Because that connection is the most important thing to me… I love you Zahir, no matter what I will always love you.
Hana and Nara: (Both tear up hearing the vows as Nara tries to hide it).
Shizen: (Smiles at both Zahir and Ziona and their love for each other). Now that the vows have been said here comes the best part of it. I want both of you to join and hold each other’s hands and repeat after me as I tell you the words that will make you husband and wife.
Ziona: (Nods and hold out her hands for Zahir as she smiles at him still not able to stop smiling since the beginning).
Zahir: (Smiles back as he holds Ziona’s hands tightly).
Shizen: (Looks at Zahir). Now Zahir repeat after me, I Zahir take you Ziona.
Zahir: (Is crying a little bit as well but smiling). I, Zahir take you Ziona.
Ziona: (Smiles at Zahir still as she tears up as well hearing him say that).
Shizen: To be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward.
Zahir: To be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward.
Shizen: Good now Ziona I want you to do the same.
Ziona: (Nods and smiles still being teary eyed from all the emotions in her but pauses to listen carefully not wanting to mess up her part).
Shizen: I Ziona, take you Zahir.
Ziona: I Ziona… Take you Zahir.
Shizen: To be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward.
Ziona: To be my husband… To have and to hold from this day forward. (Tears of joy fall as she finishes saying her part).
Shizen: (Nods at the both of them with a smile then looks at Raku). And it is time to exchange rings.
Raku: (Comes forward with the rings and holds them out for Shizen to take).
Shizen: (Takes the ring and holds out Ziona’s ring to Zahir and Zahir’s ring to Ziona).
Ziona: (Takes the ring and looks at it and Zahir’s hand as she blushes again).
Zahir: (Does the same to Ziona as he takes the ring and starts to put it on her ring finger).
Shizen: Not yet Zahir, so impatient, are we? (Laughs a little as she stops Zahir).
Ziona: (Is fumbling a little with the ring being startled and drops the ring and everyone’s in shock as it falls through the roots and into the water). N-no!
Hana: (Panics and tries to fit her hand through the roots but can’t reach). I can’t get it… Uh oh.
Shizen: (Sighs). Well let me try. (Closes her eyes and in a flash of green light she is gone).
Ziona: I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to! (Gets teary eyed as she looks at Zahir thinking she had messed up their wedding).
Zahir: (Hugs her very quickly to comfort her). It’s fine dear, just calm down for now.
Ziona: (Nods and tries to calm down her breathing but she still feels badly).
Shizen: (Comes back to the place she had been standing in her third form as she powers down holding the ring and placing it in Ziona’s hand with a smile). See no harm done.
Ziona: (Holds the ring tightly this time). T-thank you.
Nara: (Looks slightly confused). Did you just go into your third form to get the ring?
Shizen: (Nods with a grin bluntly). Yes, I did.
Nara and Hana: (Cannot find any words to say being a bit speechless).
Raku: (Realizes Shizen had to show off just a little bit for a ring though he understands the ring is very important).
Shizen: Now that you have the rings for each other Zahir you go first and as you say your part you will then put the ring on her finger… Do you Zahir take Ziona to be your wife, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish from this day forward?
Zahir: I do. (As he puts the ring on Ziona’s ring finger carefully).
Ziona: (As the ring is placed on her finger she smiles and gets teary eyed from hearing Zahir say I do to her feeling like there could be a no greater moment then hearing him say that).
Shizen: Now Ziona do you take Zahir to be your husband, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish from this day forward?
Ziona: I-I do! (Places the ring on Zahir’s ring finger as she looks into his eyes with all her love for him).
Zahir: (Cannot stop smiling so hugely just looking at Ziona being happy which makes him happy).
Shizen: And I now pronounce you husband and wife.
Ziona: (Hearing that she looks at Zahir and can’t stop smiling as she blushes greatly from the joy). Y-you’re my husband now.
Zahir: And you are my wife.
Ziona: (Holds Zahir’s hands with her sheer vial still up until the first kiss and when he pulls the vial over).
Shizen: (Smiles at Zahir and says). Zahir you may kiss your bride.
Zahir: Gladly! (Lifts off Ziona’s veil as he brings her chin up and connects their lips in a first kiss as husband and wife).
Ziona: (Kisses Zahir back wanting the feeling to last as long as possible filling all her love into the kiss).
Nara: (Starts to wipe a few tears away as she claps with Hana).
Hana: (Cries a little more than Nara). I thought you said you wouldn’t cry.
Nara: (Realizes her eyes have tears and tries to hide it stubbornly). I’m not crying.
Hana: Hmm. (Peaks over at Raku). Looks like Raku is crying so your fine.
Nara: (Blushes deeply but still claps for Zahir and Ziona as they kiss).
Ziona: (Still enjoys the kiss filled with love as their friend cheer).
Raku: (Claps loudly and cries a little bit).
Ziona: (As the kiss ends, she blushes and giggles).
Shizen: And that is that, all that is left is to walk back as husband and wife.
Nara: (Gets a sly smirk nudging the couple). And tonight, go to your honeymoon area we set up for you to be alone.
Hana: But before you go you must throw the bouquet.
Nara: But shouldn’t there be a party for them first?
Ziona: I-I don’t think we need a party…. (Looks at Zahir). Right now… No matter what I couldn’t be happier.
Shizen: Well then when you are ready you to walk down first and everyone else will follow.
Zahir: (Takes Ziona’s arm in arm and holds his arm forward). Shall we then my newly wedded wife?
Ziona: Of course, my husband. (Takes Zahir’s arm happily and they walk down followed by everyone else behind them).
Nara: (Holds Raku’s arm happily as they follow).
Hana: (Giggles). Are you sure you won’t get married Nara?
Nara: (Blushes and looks away). … Shut it.
Hana: I don’t think that was a no. (Giggles more).
Raku: (Laughs a little bit with a small blush as he kisses Nara’s cheek while following Zahir out).
Ziona: (Sees a carriage decorated in the same purple theme for them with the words just married and blushes looking at Zahir). I-I guess this is for us.
Zahir: Wow it looks pretty cool but kind of corny don’t you think… Yes, I guess it is for us though.
Hana: Sorry but tried to make it look nice at least but before you go you must throw the bouquet for us unmarried girls to see who’s next to get married.
Ziona: Oh, umm right ahh. (Turns her back to the single girls wanting to catch the purple and white flowers and throws them).
Nara: (Was not trying to catch the flowers yet they fall into her hands, and she looks at them in shock at Hana cheers for her with a loud laugh).
Zahir: (Laughs as he climbs into the carriage with Ziona). See you at the next wedding everyone for my man Raku should be just as exciting now, won’t it?
Raku: (Blushes heavily as it is his turn to hide his face). Will… Will you… Shut up already… Zahir….
Zahir: (just laughs).
Nara: (Blushes not knowing what to do looking back and forth from the flowers to Raku).
Ziona: (Climbs into the carriage with Zahir and waves to everyone).
Shizen: (Waves to both of them and says to Zahir). Looks like the little scorpion has grown up and who knows maybe there will be little scorpions of his own one day. (Laughs a little).
Zahir: (Ignores the comments as he and Ziona ride off to their new lives together).
Ziona: (Looks at Zahir as they ride away with a big smile and some tears). You’re really my husband now… It’s really happening.
Zahir: No more tears now and come here again. (As Zahir lifts Ziona’s head again and kisses his wife as they ride off).
As the flashback ends Zahir stops his story seeing Kairi is fast asleep and Shizen laughs a little.
Shizen: Well, it seems that you lost yourself in the memory a little, and you seem to have a talent for bedtime stories.
Zahir: (Laughs a bit as he scratches his head). I guess I do huh.
Shizen: Well, it is a skill that will be helpful with Luka and Lulu but right now I will take Kairi to bed to rest somewhere else. She did a good job protecting the twins and everyone is probably tired from this long day.
Zahir: I would think so, especially all the action that came to early in my opinion but yeah, I’m getting sleepy myself and I will give Kairi something as a thanks later.
Shizen: Very well. (Remembers Kairi saying Luka fainted when late in the fighting and looks at him). Kairi mentioned Luka had fainted when the fighting was almost done… That is odd he seems healthy and it’s odd it didn’t happen to Lulu as well.
Zahir: (Pauses and looks down at Luka who sleeps soundly). That is indeed strange.
Shizen: (Thinks out loud trying to put together an answer but is not sure herself). It might have happened around the same time Ziona… Left for a little bit so can you recall her mentioning if she saw anything when she was unconscious?
Zahir: (Thinks to himself for a little bit). Well, she said that while she was… Away… She met this shining guy that had told her to come back and stay with me.
Shizen: A man, hmm did she know the man or any detail of whom or what the man looked like?
Zahir: (Continues to think carefully). No not really besides not knowing who he was.
Shizen: That is interesting indeed. (Looks at Luka in wonder). Did you know many believe that humans and spirits are reborn and usually stay close to the ones they have a strong bond with… I begin to think that is true and I have seen some proof though I’m not sure if this is a case of that yet. (Takes Luka from Ziona as she sleeps and holds him looking at Zahir to see if it is alright).
Zahir: (Looks at Shizen not sure what to say next besides shaking his head yes).
Shizen: I have heard tales that spirits and humans if skilled enough can make seals that can find out a newborn’s previous life but mainly only small parts and images and usually their last moment in that life… I’m not at all of balance or water element so it’s hard for me but Nagi and Shiro gave me a potion to make it easier for a short time… I have never used it since I wanted to save it until needed… Plus keep it in memory of them mostly… But this could be a good time for curiosity. (Places Luka on the bed as he sleeps taking a small vial out with a black and white liquid and smiles looking at it). If you do not want to that it is fine though I only am doing this since I believe the man that came to Ziona was the past life of Luka though. I’m not sure how or who it is that Luka was before… but somehow, they did know you. Maybe even are a guardian watching over your family and especially Luka.
Zahir: (Looks down). I rather not do that… For the fact that maybe more than likely it was my Luka from before but now Luka is my son. If I knew who he was before or that he was watched over like that I couldn’t look at my son, the same so I would rather keep things the way they are now.
Shizen: (Smiles at Zahir). Of course, I respect that, and I had the same thought. Even so Luka is your son the life he had before will not matter and most likely never be brought up in his mind especially as he grows… He is your son, that is all and the Luka you knew before let’s just say that he lives on in your memories. However, this Luka right here is different even if reborn because this life right here… It is your son… No life before that, just as simple as that and another person to cherish and hold dearly… It’s not at all the same and that’s what makes it even more special. (Picks up Luka and puts him in Zahir’s arms as she smiles).
Zahir: (Holds Luka and he just holds him close as he lays down with him). All that matters… Is now and I will hold those memories close as I embrace the new ones to come.
Shizen: (Nods and picks up Kairi carefully so they can leave). Yes, because you are home Zahir and with a family that you care for dearly. I will make sure that, that never changes and that you are by your children’s side watching them grow and helping them learn new things. Both you and their mother….
Zahir: (Nods as he slowly drifts off to sleep from the previous drainage of energy). I will always be their sword and shield… As I age more and more I shall keep watching over my family… For it’s the bond… I cherish the most….
Shizen: (Looks at Zahir as he rests peacefully with his family). And being spirits make that last a long time… It is a blessing and a burden at times when seeing humans age so fast to us, yet we would not give up those moments with them for anything… They are quite amazing and learn much faster than we could on our own but once back in the spirit world it is normal how age and time seems to stop. Though child spirits grow faster than seem to stop at a certain age. It is interesting how even with such a long life we still have so much to learn… But one thing for sure the memories with the group I am with now will be ones I will cherish and make sure that they last. (Looks at Kairi with a smile as she opens the door to leave then back at Zahir and his family smiling as she closes the door letting everyone rest from the very long day).
