Chapter 16

Yami: (Challenges Tori and talks in a tough like he normally would).  Oh, come on I bet there’s a way to beat that third form.  You’re not that tough so bring it!

Shizen: (Sighs shaking her head with a small laugh as she says to herself).  Good luck with that.

Tori: (Sighs as well as he is blocking Yami’s attacks easily).  I’m not doing that just for this duel.  It wouldn’t be fair to you Yami.

Chazz: (is going into town to help everyone that needs it as Hiki tags along as breakfast is nearly done and Kura takes over for her).

Yami: Hey you don’t know that!

Shizen: You don’t even have a 2nd form yet Yami so I would suggest working on becoming stronger yourself before challenging others that have more experience.

Yami: (Becomes grumpy and pouts).  Well, I’ll figure it out while fighting.  No big deal and I can surpass him.  I will just watch.

Shizen: (Laughs shaking her head).  Hmm we’ll it is good to have goals at least.

Tori: (Sighs as he scratches his head since there is a distance between the two).  Well true it is but it does get very tiring sometimes but oh well.

Shizen: Well, take it as a compliment from the one who looks up to you.

Yami: hey I do not and stop saying that!  (Becomes embarrassed so he pouts going into the house to calm down a little).

Shizen: (Laughs more).  Right my apologies.  (Opens her eyes to look at Tori).  But it did give you a break.

Kairi: (Ss she focuses on trying to take a shadow form but is having trouble only able to have her legs in shadows at best.  It only happens when she has a dark spirit to hold onto as a dark energy source).

Tori: (Laughs a bit as he heads towards Kairi to help her out).  Kairi how’s it going, any luck on learning more of the form?

Kairi: (Opens her eyes and smiles seeing Tori).  Oh, I can cover my legs in shadow, but I cannot do anything else without more help, but I will keep trying.  (Gives a determined look).

Tori: (He smiles warmly at her).  Well want me to help teach you?

Kairi: If you would like to.  What should I do to become better at it?  (A faint blush forms while looking up at Tori).

Tori: Hmm well I can think of something to help out.

Kairi: (Tilts her head to the side curiously).  What is it?

Tori: (Sits next to Kairi as he is giving energy to her to help convert it).

Kairi: (Realizes what Tori is doing and tries to focus.  Closing her eyes, she placing a hand on his shoulder to help as the shadow form slowly spreads through her and once forming on her arm on him it spreads to him as well).

Tori: (Laughs as he is gives her more energy).

Kairi: (As more energy is given to her, she continues to focus covering both of them in the shadow form as if sharing the energy with him and giving it back her whole body looking like a shadow of herself just like the time before.  She has what looks like black smoke and her black hair flowing down her shoulders and back looking darker than the other parts of her being a pure black).

Tori: (Looks at Kairi as they are both in the shadow form).  Well at least now you are in the form.

Kairi: (Opens her eyes looking at Tori in surprise and then herself).  Whoa… It is so weird….  (Looks at Tori curiously and pokes him to see if her hand goes through him like a ghost but it does not.  Instead, her hand is on his arm as she looks amazed).  But it really is cool.

Tori: It really is now isn’t it…?  (Kairi sees a small showing of his black wings stretching from his back).

Kairi: (Looks at Tori and the wings in shadows even more curious and amazed and a faint blush though not seen since the shadow form covers it.  Her feelings for him come to mind from looking at him and thinking how amazing she finds him).  You… Have wings?

Tori: (Notices that his wings are out being surprised they are a part of his form now).  Well, I guess I do since yesterday.

Kairi: They look nice and I like them… They are like angel wings only for a dark spirit….  I think they look handsome on you.  (Realizes what she said and blushes heavily but smiles at Tori).

Tori: (Is taken by surprise as he smiles back and gives a quick hug to Kairi).

Kairi: (Is a little surprised by the hug but wants it to last longer and hugs Tori once more quickly.  She looks at him then down at his hand close to hers wanting to hold it and continues to blush at her thoughts).

Tori: (Is blushing as well but can feel Jennifer’s cold stare on him so he backs off a little bit).

Kairi: (Still wanders with her thoughts a little bit as she practices staying in the shadow form with Tori helping her).

Shizen: (Notices Jennifer’s glare towards Tori and sighs).  You cannot stop who she falls for child.

Jennifer: But I can still be protective and shoot my bow as a warning shot.

Shizen: Very well but that does not mean it will stop or slow down the feelings.

Jennifer: Yes, I know but I will always watch out and worry about her.

Shizen: Yes, and that is what makes you a great big sister to her.  Just be sure to let her grow to handle herself just as well as you do for yourself.

Kairi: (Starts to try and use her abilities with the shadow form.  She tries to make a small barrier then works on her combat skills since that and sparring are her weakest points being a little off balanced at times).

Tori: (Gets up and offers a hand to help pull Kairi up from the ground).  Do you want me to help teach you on how to battle or duel in a sparring match?

Kairi: I think so, I guess I need more practice.  I am not that good at it yet.  (Dusts the dirt off herself from falling down).

Tori: (Helps her up).  Well, you’re a person who doesn’t take conflict well so it is understandable in my view, but I have to at least teach you how to protect yourself.

Kairi: I know but I want to protect others as well.  That is why I want to learn all I can and try my best even if I am not good at it.  I know if I practice, I will get better.  (Gives a determined look).

Tori: (Laughs as he pats Kairi’s head).  Then I will do my best to teach you so that you will have the strength to protect anyone you want for you are strong you just need to hone into that strength like I did before in my childhood.

Kairi: And I will do my best to listen to you, but even if I did become strong, I do not think I could protect you since you’re so strong yourself.  It really is amazing to see but even, so I want to become stronger so you or anyone else does not have to worry about protecting me.

Tori: Well, I can only be strong because of someone like yourself.  It helps drives me to become better so that no harm can come to you… And everyone else because in another miracle I got a family again and that is all I need to keep going.

Kairi: (Smiles brightly at Tori).  I am glad that everyone is here then, and we can work to protect each other from things like what happened yesterday.  I just wish I could have helped more after hearing about it from Kura, but I am glad I could keep Luka and Lulu safe at least.  (Looks down a little).  I know a lot of bad things happened, but I am just glad everyone is alright, and I did not have to say goodbye to anyone.

Tori: (Pets her head in a caring sweet way).  I wouldn’t allow you to say goodbye ever.  You’re staying right where you are, and I will do everything I can to make sure of it.

Kairi: And I will make sure that no one goes away either by practicing and trying my best so I can become strong like you.  (Looks up Tori with a little smile and light blush).

 

Upstairs in the house Zahir wakes up as Ziona still sleeps and recovers being ill from her immune system being a little weak because she is healing.  She coughs a little being weak still as Luka and Lulu start to cry a little in her arms as they wake up.

Zahir: (Is taking care of Ziona and his kids as he remains worried about her).

Ziona: (Continues to sleep snuggling up to Zahir a little).

Luka and Lulu: (Start to cry a little more waving at Zahir to try and grab him since they have just had woken up.  They are wanting for attention and are a little hungry but mostly wanting to be held up more).

Zahir: (Sighs as he goes by Luka and Lulu pick both of them up so Ziona can rest some more).

Luka and Lulu: (Start to calm down being held by Zahir).

Ziona: (Starts to wake a little seeing Zahir with Luka and Lulu and smiles at seeing this.  She keeps this sweet image in her memory as she gets a big smile then coughs a little covering her mouth).

Zahir: (Instantly goes closer to Ziona while holding the kids with a worried expression on his face).  Are you alright Ziona?

Ziona: (Smiles at Zahir to reassure him).  I’m fine just a little weak from everything I guess… But seeing you with Luka and Lulu was a nice thing to wake up to.  (Smiles at Luka and Lulu petting their heads to calm them down).

Zahir: (Still is worried but happily takes Ziona’s words of reassurance knowing she doesn’t want to worry him).

Ziona: (Rests her head on Zahir’s shoulder as she holds Luka and Lulu with him).  There so small and cute… Hope they stay small for a long time and I will treasure every moment I have with my family… Don’t worry I’m never letting go of this.

Zahir: (Smiles as he kisses Ziona’s and the kids head so that they can smile).  Just being with my family is good enough for me as I wouldn’t trade these treasures of mine for anything else.

Ziona: Of course, and to help them grow and look up to you and become strong and kind like you.  (Kisses Zahir and smiles up at him).

Zahir: Well, I’m hoping they stay kind-hearted like yourself as you are more of a sweetheart.

Ziona: (Blushes from the compliment and kisses Zahir).  Then what about both.  Then they will be just like both of us though I already can tell Luka acts a little more like you but giggles a lot like me.  He also has your smile and looks a lot like you and Lulu is shy and quiet like me and looks a lot like me too… their so cute.  (Holds Luka and Lulu close and Luka giggles grabs Zahir’s shirt in a strong grip for a newborn and Lulu snuggles up to Ziona).

Zahir: (Laughs and kisses Ziona back and pulls Luka a little closer to him).  Well, I think you are right about that but all I know is that Luka will do his best to protect his sister for he cares about her just as much as his mother and father.

Ziona: I think so too, and Lulu will stand with her brother through everything no matter what and I will do everything I can to take care of my little scorpion family.  (Giggles a little and cradles Lulu in her arms and she looks up at Ziona cutely.  Luka has a big smile with giggling as he reaches up at Zahir and grabbing his short beard and nose a little as he was reaching for his face as if playing).

Zahir: (Chuckles back at Ziona’s comment and kisses her head again as Luka pulls him down a little bit).  Ouch, ouch hey now I know you want attention but gosh no need to be so rough.

Luka: (Makes a little crying noise as he tries to reach again wanting to hold onto Zahir).

Lulu: (Starts to get upset and Ziona cradles her to calm her down).

Ziona: (Giggles a little at Luka’s attempts to grab Zahir’s nose and beard again).  He just likes grabbing a lot and he doesn’t like to let go.  (Thinks on what would distract Luka).  Hmm maybe if you distract him with you tail that would work like before.

Zahir: I think that may hurt since I still feel with the tail, but I can try.  (Zahir makes his scorpion tail form behind him so that Luka can play with it for a bit).

Luka: (The tail catches his attention, and he grabs onto in a big hug not letting go for anything).

Ziona: Well, I think he just wanted to hug you.

Zahir: (Laughs as well).  True it is nice.

Ziona: It really is.  (As Lulu starts to cry and followed by Luka and Ziona tries to calm them).  Shh it’s alright, they must be hungry by now.  (Takes Luka from Zahir and gets ready to feed both of them but as she does this, she hears a light knock and blushes not wanting to be seen being a little exposed.  She brings Luka and Lulu close to her to give them some milk and looks for a blanket or something a little frantically to cover up).

Zahir: (Covers up Ziona and the kids in an instant).  There you should be good now.

Ziona: (Nods and blushes taking the blankets and tucking it up by her shoulders so it stays then goes back to holding up Luka and Lulu so she can feed them but still blushes heavily).

Zahir: (Smiles at Ziona).  It’s alright now.  I’ll talk to the person in the hallway alright?

Ziona: (Nods still being embarrassed).  A-alright thank you.  (She kisses Zahir quickly before he leaves).

Zahir: (Kisses Ziona as he heads into the hallway).

Jennifer: (Is right behind Shizen and smiles at Zahir).  Good morning.

Shizen: (Was the one who knocked and smiles at Zahir as he comes out).  Hello, I just wanted you to know that breakfast is ready once everyone arrives.  I think Raku and Nara will be joining us for a little bit as well but how is Ziona feeling does she need more medicine yet?

Zahir: (Waves at Jennifer with a tired grin).  Hello good morning and thank you for letting me know.  Ziona is alright at the moment since she is busy with the kids, but I’ll get her some food in a bit after breakfast.

Shizen: We could bring breakfast to both of you if you would like.

Jennifer: I know some would like to visit and Kairi would like to say hi to the twins I would think but that can wait, I think.

Zahir: I’m sure she can later after breakfast.

Jennifer: Alright and if you need any help let us know.  Unfortunately, we will have to leave either this afternoon or night back to our home.  They are probably wondering where we are but do not worry, we will visit whenever we can.  I am sure Kairi will want to visit again soon.

Shizen: Yes, and I will find a way to bring you supplies or have them smuggled to you somehow so anything you need let me know.

Zahir: Alright I’m sure you can figure out something and alright we can explore or just have fun before you all leave since I have been very appreciating of what you all have done for me.

Shizen: Don’t mention it.  I am glad you are where you belong now.

Jennifer: Yes, and I look forward to that, but I will see if I can help with setting out breakfast and bring you some in a few moments.  (Waves goodbye and starts to walk down the stairs).

Shizen: (Stays next to Zahir and laughs lightly).  Well, it’s more that you should thank them for convincing me to find you even with me saying it might be dangerous… They still wanted to help so much and especially Jennifer… This is a truly remarkable group.  So young yet so strong and brave.

Zahir: (Smiles hugely).  Yes, they are for I agree they are very brave and very strong.  They can probably change the world one day.  They fight and never stop trying.  They are so young yet so bright… Though they do have romance problems I am sure they will figure them out… But I will thank them for sure.

Shizen: Yes, I am counting on that, and the romance problems are interesting to watch but I know for sure that that they will bring back the balance Nagi and Shiro once held together.

Zahir: More than likely they will and Chazz will be in the middle of it since his spirits are the balance.  We don’t see the two types of spirits but once in a lifetime almost.

Shizen: Yes, it is very rare indeed however….  (Her smile changes to a small frown as she thinks).  I have a feeling I will be the one to clash with Agni… We have always fought and in a way, it was creating balance with war and power and peace and freedom… We have clashed because of our different views… And this will be the last time.  (Her fists clench a little looking serious).

Zahir: (Nods his head seriously and hugs Shizen before hearing his children cry.  He waves goodbye and heads back to Ziona after he says).  I know you will Shizen because that’s just who you are.

 

A few moments later Chazz and Hiki are in the house along with Raku and Nara who stopped by for a break from working and to visit and see how Zahir and his family are doing.  They help set the table wanting to help their closest friends anyway possible knowing especially Zahir has his hands full.

Kura: (Goes by the door seeing Kairi still practicing with Tori and trying to stay in a shadow form as well.  She smiles and then yells out to them).  It’s time for breakfast so come in when you are done!
Kairi: (looks at Kura and smiles).  Oh alright, be right there!  (Looks at Tori).  Are you ready to go?  I think I have the shadow form thingy figured out… Sort of.  (Looks at herself in the shadow form waving her hands a little in front of her still looking amazed by it).

Tori: (Smiles at Kairi).  Alright if you are sure.  If you feel like you need help with it let me know and I’ll make sure to help you out alright and yes, I have been waiting to eat already.

Kairi: (Gives a big smile).  Great let’s go eat then!  (Runs to the house but suddenly falls into a shadow on the ground still being in her shadow form with a surprised sound having forgotten to release it).  Eek!

Tori: (Laughs as he goes to grab Kairi out of the shadow).  Got to be careful.

Kairi: Right thank you and sorry I guess I still need to practice more.  (Scratches her head and laughs while getting out of her shadow form taking a big breath out as she goes back to normal).

Tori: (Laughs still as he gets out of his own shadow form as well).  True it would help but don’t worry you’ll get the hang of it.

Kairi: Maybe I can practice again later but for now come on let’s go eat!  (Grabs Tori’s arm and heads to the house pulling him there a little bit as she gives him a big bright smile).

Tori: (Smiles more as they head into the house and get ready to eat).

 

Jennifer smiles at Kairi who sits next to her saying hello as she chats with Shizen, Nara, Raku at the table with everyone else while Chazz, Hiki and Kura set out the food).

Kairi: Good morning, everyone!

Jennifer: (laughs a little).  Good morning, how was training?  Did you learn anything new?

Kairi: I learned more of that shadow form thingy, but I still need to practice, I think.

Jennifer: Well good, I am glad you are learning.

Yami: (As he grabs food to eat).  Yeah, who knows maybe you can start sparing but if you spar against me, I’m not going easy on you.

Kairi: (Gives a determined look).  I’ll do my best I promise.

Nara: Well, it’s nice to know you’re determined to get stronger, maybe I can help you.  Your strong enough to knock Raku down running into him so I would say you’re pretty strong already.  (Pats Raku on the back and laughs a little).

Kairi: (Gives a confused look).  Thank you… I think?

Raku: (He gives an annoyed look towards his wife).  Yes, whatever but good you want to learn though.

Nara: (Smiles at Raku and kisses his cheek as an apology).

Tori: (Sits across from Kairi right next to where Chazz and Hiki are going to sit).  Well, she could maybe beat you Yami but yes, she learning quite well if I may add.

Yami: (Gets annoyed with Tori).  No way, I would win no question to it.

Nara: Quite confident there I see.

Yami: (Grins).  Hey I’ll prove it!  Bring it!

Nara: (Smiles politely as she teases Yami).  Sorry it would seem a little unfair to fight a small child.

Yami: (Stops in the middle of eating and looks at Nara annoyed).  What was that?

Nara: Oh, it was nothing unless you really want to challenge me.  (She gives the innocent smile like she had done nothing).

Yami: (Throws a throwing dagger at Nara as he gets frustrated).  Bring it and don’t call me a little kid!

Nara: (Catches the dagger in between two fingers).  Be careful these things are too dangerous for kids to play with.

Shizen: (Says quietly but loud enough for the ones near her to hear but it’s more said to herself as she casually drinks her tea).  Careful Yami, you don’t want to challenge her.

Yami: (Picks up what Shizen says and looks at her questioningly).  Yeah, why not?

Shizen: Because she is stronger than most here including her husband and she gives Zahir a challenge as well.  Tori has a chance of winning I would think but that’s when you are not on her bad side… Don’t get on her bad side.

Nara: (Gives an innocent smile but there is a smirk that is not well hidden).  I have no clue what you mean by that.

Chazz and Hiki: (Brings in the last of the food but their interest is clearly caught by the conversation).

Jennifer: Wow I guess I will make sure not to upset you then I guess but what power do you have?

Nara: Oh, my type of poison is snake, and I even can turn into one, but I prefer not fully turning into a snake when I fight.

Kairi: Wow that is really sounds cool!

Shizen: Every nature spirit has an animal or plant type that there power is based off since I control all of nature the second generation each got a certain part and same with the other generations.  Nara is quite skilled with her power but then again, I am proud of all the nature spirits and their growth.

Kairi: Wow it is like when sis turns into animals.

Jennifer: Yes, I think I turned into part of a snake when fighting the man Zahir was contracted to.

Nara: Oh, I see, maybe I can help you with that.

Kairi: Ooh I want to see it, it sounds cool.

Nara: (A purple snake tail appears from her legs her form turning into the lower half of a snake in an instant.  The end of the tail starts to scoop food onto her plate for herself and her eyes changes to snake eyes and two fangs are seen when she opens her mouth to speak).  You mean like this?

Kairi: (Looks amazed by the sudden change).  Woah it is really cool!

Nara: (Laughs).  I’m glad you think so, most think it’s a little scary but I’m glad Raku is fine with it.  (Kisses Raku’s cheek and smiles at him).

Raku: Well, if I wasn’t I think you still would have forced yourself into my life.  (Chuckles a bit as he kisses her cheek).  But I don’t think that would have been a bad thing.

Chazz and Hiki: (Take a seat finally alongside Kura since they are done working for now).

Chazz: Her powers do sound interesting though… A snake huh.

Hiki: Sounds really cool but I think it was funny when Jenny did the same thing but couldn’t control it.  (She thinks back to it and chuckles a bit just as Chazz and Tori do).

Jennifer: (Pouts).  I did not mean to… I guess I just had so much poison element in me at the time I sort of just learned how to use it.

Nara: (Shrugs).  Snakes tend to snap quickly; you get used to it after a while.

Shizen: The animal does tend to reflect that person’s personality like Ziona’s ability to make medicines that heal out of poisons fits her very well since she is not really a fighter and scorpions can be very protective and a guardian though sometimes symbolize rebirth.

Kairi: Oh, wow I did not think of it like that.  (Looks Raku with a smile).  What about you Raku?  What animal or plant are you?

Raku: (He thinks to himself for a little bit as he is wondering on how to answer it easily).  Well, you know on how bugs have an exoskeleton.  Well, I can harden my skin to be of the same thing, but I can also morph it a bit to become claw like.  For an example like a mantis with the blades I can morph it to have those.

Kairi: Wow it sounds cool, it is like you can grow your own armor then.

Jennifer: It really does sound interesting.

Kairi: I wonder if everyone has their own animal or if they did what it would be.

Shizen: (Pauses to think on Kairi’s question).  Hmm well I think there could be guesses to what everyone’s animal or plant would be though some are easier to guess.  Like Tori I would think with the wings is a bird, perhaps a raven but the wings are a little wide to be raven wings. They are more similar to an eagle or another predatory bird.  As for others I would have to guess on abilities and personality.

Jennifer: That makes sense.  (Looks at everyone at the table trying to figure out what animal or plant they would be as well).

Hiki: (Thinks to herself as well) hmmm I wonder what I could be or master umm… I think I know master could be a bear or a tiger.

Chazz: (Looks confused at Hiki’s statement).  Why do you say that Hiki?

Hiki: Because you’re strong and you always fight for the people close to you and… And you always try your best for what you believe in.

Shizen: Hmm the tiger makes sense because it is sometimes seen as a creature in balance as well as the dragon so that does make sense.  It is more a symbol of overcoming obstacles however which still fits.  As for you Hiki….  (Pauses to think some more).  Perhaps a swan or perhaps a deer but I am not sure though you seem full of Love, gentleness, kindness, gracefulness, and sensitivity.  Deer carries the message of purity of purpose, and of walking in the light around those you care about like the deer.  As for the swan well, there is a certain grace and beauty and also, you’re caring for the family you hold dear and the love you hold for them no matter what happens wanting to stay close to each other for as long as you can as a partner for life.  (Smiles at Hiki).

Hiki: (As she thinks about what Shizen has said she begins to understand what she means.  She looks at everyone with a big smile on her face and a little teary, but it is not too obvious).  Yes, I want to be always close to the people that mean the most to me and always have a bond with them.  For them to say I have a place in their hearts.  That I can always wave my hair into the morning wind to flow gracefully… Or try to… And that I can use my magic to keep these bonds… Thank you.

Chazz and Tori: (Are one of the few that can hear the slight sadness in her voice because they know what Hiki has been through before and they each put their arm across her shoulder in a big hug from the two too her).

Jennifer: (Smiles at Hiki but sees the slight tears).  Do not worry Hiki.  You mean a lot to this whole group.  It just would not be as cheerful and fun without you here.  When you are around you always seem to brighten things up no matter what.  Kind of like how Kairi makes anyone smile and trust her. 

Kairi: I am not sure I mean, like it is when everyone else happy and safe that is all, and you really need to be happy yourself.  You really are amazing too Hiki.  (Smiles brightly at Hiki).

Kura: (Smiles at Hiki as well).  Yes, and that bright cheerfulness made it easy for me to tell you who I really was and easy to open up to.

Hiki: (Lets her tears go as she holds Chazz and Tori who comfort her).

Raku: (Brings Nara in for her to cuddle up to him for a bit).

Zahir: (Finally comes downstairs after making sure Ziona was well enough to handle the twins for a bit).

Nara: (Rests her head on Raku’s shoulder and smiles).

Jennifer: (Frowns a little seeing Hiki cry and planning to ask her about it later.  She then sees Zahir and smiles at him).  Hello Zahir, how are things going up there. 

Kairi: how is Ziona and the babies, can we see them soon?

Zahir: (Comes down the stairs and reaches the table).  Well, the twins are resting for a bit as is Ziona so at the moment you can’t.  They should be up before everyone leaves.

Kairi: Alright but do we have to go?  (Pouts a little).

Jennifer: I am sorry Kairi but do not worry.  We can visit again soon but for now we have to go back so everyone does not start worrying and sending reports that we are missing.

Nara: Well, you are welcomed here anytime, and we look forward to it.  We can’t thank you enough.  (Looks at the whole group with a grateful smile).

Raku: Yes, come anytime, hopefully everything will look better by the time you come by again.  (He smiles as he kisses Nara’s head)

Zahir: Yes… I have no way to reach how grateful for what you have done for me and my family besides being welcomed in my home anytime and my eternal thanks

Chazz: (He smiles and shakes his head).  No need to be so formal.  We will come again for sure since we do not get that many chances to come to an island.

Hiki and Tori: (Both laugh as they shake their heads yes).

Jennifer: But until we leave let’s enjoy the time we have here, and we will help out anyway we can.

Kairi: I like that idea ooh and Shizen can you tell me what my animal is too?

Shizen: (Burst out in laughter).  I feel almost like a fortune teller now.  (Looks at Zahir to explain).  We were discussing what animal each person here would be.  Yours is pretty obvious and any nature spirits is quite obvious as well.

Nara: Yes, and that’s also why I am showing my true part snake form since they wanted to see that.  I’m not complaining, it’s like a third hand.  (She casually uses the snake tail to eat her food as she leans on Raku a little the tail being the lower half of her body though no one notices until now thinking it was just a tail and her legs).

Raku: (Laughs as he kisses Nara’s head again and then talks to Zahir).  Well come on, sit down, and join us already.  Don’t be acting like a stranger now at this point.

Zahir: (Takes a seat with a grin).  Oh, shut it you.

Shizen: Well, it is your own house so in your eyes we should be the strange ones.

Jennifer: (Laughs).  Even so I think we are friends from all that has happened.

Kairi: It was really nice meeting everyone here even though I think I scared some.  Oh, sorry Raku making you nervous to at first as well.  I guess maybe I should have said things better now that I look back.  (Smiles apologetically at Raku).

Nara: Even so it is not nice to point a spear at a young girl Raku.  (Looks at Raku pinching his cheek a little as a warning but with a smile still).

Raku: Hey, hey ow, ow, ow Nara that’s enough!  (As Nara lets go and he rubs his cheeks).  I’m sorry about that, I was too cautious about it sorry already.

Chazz, Hiki, Tori and Zahir: (Laugh a little).

Zahir: Well, letting all things go everything worked out somehow and I’m grateful

Chazz: No problem, Zahir, if you need us again we will come running for sure.

Hiki and Tori: (Shake their heads yes in agreement).

Zahir: (Grins).  Good cause I’m going to hold you to that!

Jennifer: Of course, though how would we contact you?

Shizen: I could make one of those gems you gave to Chazz and Kairi.  They take a bit of energy to make but you can tell where the others are and even contact them if skilled enough no matter how far.  You can even tell in what health the person who made it is in by how bright the stone glows.

Jennifer: That could work.

Kairi: (Pulls the gem on her necklaces out from under her shirt in wonder).  Wow I always wondered what this was.

Zahir: Hmm those could work since it would give the location you need in order to open a gateway here much easier.

Hiki: (Thinks for a second).  True having the location makes setting a gateway easier since it improves accuracy with where we end up with it.

Jennifer: (Laughs).  I just hope we do not end up in the water if were off by a little bit.

Kura: (Laughs as well).  Yes, that would not be good for Yami at all if he still hasn’t learned how to swim by then.

Yami: (Gets annoyed and yells).  Hey not cool! I can do it, it’s just some stupid water how hard can it be!  Don’t make fun of me!

Nara: My, my, you are quite easy to get upset aren’t you little one?

Hiki and Tori: Yes, yes, he is.

Yami: Shut it, I’m not little!

Nara: (Raises her eyebrow).  Careful who you tell to shut up.

Yami: (Grins putting a hand on the hilt of his sheathed knife).  Bring it!

Shizen: (Sips her tea again).  What did I say about challenging Nara?

Tori and hiki: (Both sigh and shake their heads).

Chazz: Nara if I may ask could I spare you if you wish to blow off steam?

Zahir and Raku: (Are taken aback by Chazz’s request).

Hiki and Tori: (Both sigh again).

Tori: That’s our master but I’m curious.

Hiki: (Giggles).  True, true.

Nara: (Looks surprised but then smirks a little).  I’m always up for a challenge and since you’re the balance user it does interest me on what you can do so… Sure why the hell not.  Just know I never hold back.  (Gets a competitive look as she looks directly at Chazz and smirks).

Jennifer: (Looks from Chazz to Nara not sure if this is a good idea).

Shizen: (Laughs a little but does not say anything looking at both Chazz and Nara and thinking of both their strengths and weaknesses thinking of the possible outcomes).

Yami: (Pouts having wanted to fight Nara instead).

Chazz: I would be insulted if you did hold back, and I need to exercise more myself, so this is going to be fun now.

Nara: If you insist.  (Takes one more bite of the food before readying to set out).  I’m ready when you are.  (Looks at Raku and smiles and kisses him but can tell there’s something scary about her now already).  Honey I will be right back so if you need anything… Just wait until after this is done.

Tori: Don’t underestimate us Nara, may regret it.

Hiki: (Shakes her head with a fire in her eyes with passion for the fight).

Chazz: Alright then we will spar in a bit since we don’t want to leave injuries.

Raku: (Sighs).  It isn’t you I’m worried about.

Nara: (Looks at Chazz, Hiki and Tori with a competitive and somewhat scary look).  I see well it is fine.  I already know that you are pretty strong if your spirits just reached their 3rd form, but that just makes it more fun if you’re a challenge.  Don’t worry I won’t try to kill you….  (Smiles sweetly but there’s something that is very scary about the smile).

Chazz: (Makes the same type of smile towards Nara as everyone gets a slight chill from the weight of the atmosphere).

Jennifer: (Is still unsure about this but knows better than to say anything).

Yami: (Feels the chill in the air and starts to think that maybe he shouldn’t say anything about fighting as if instincts tell him not to for his own life safety).

Kura: (Looks at both Chazz and Nara and smirks a little wanting to see the fight).

Nara: (Starts getting her weapons out and putting them on a hilt at her waist).  Whenever you’re ready kid.

Shizen: (Sighs and heads to the kitchen).  I will get herbs against poison for afterwards just in case, oh and Chazz… Good luck.

Chazz: Noted and we may want to do this outside since don’t want trash the house that just was repaired.

Hiki and Tori: (Disappear and become their sword forms at Chazz’s sides).

Nara: Of course, that would be rude.  (Stands and gets ready to go).

Kairi: (Looks at Hiki and Tori becoming swords).  Woah it is almost like fighting 3… But please be careful please do not get hurt.

Chazz: No need to worry, we are not aiming to harm each other.  Just disarm for now since it is a sparring match.

Nara: Just try not to touch my hair… I take it a little seriously.  (Stretches her arms out as she walks, her legs normal for now having hidden the snake form for now).

Jennifer: (Looks from Zahir and Raku seeing a scared look on their faces).  Umm why do you two look so scared….

Raku: …Well umm… My wife has a tendency to take anything involving a fight very seriously so I think it may go further than a spar but into a normal fight but I… Think Chazz has already realized that

Zahir: And for the fact that I barely win against her.  She is strong in her mobility… But when she loses her temper… We may need a barrier on the house again….

Raku: (Shakes his head yes in agreement).

Shizen: (Comes back with the herbs ready just in case).  I will handle the barrier and give Chazz herbs in case he is bit.

Jennifer: (Gives a questioning look).  Bit?

Shizen: (Shrugs).  Snakes tend to bite.  (Shouts to Nara who is stretching outside).  Oh Nara, try not to destroy the island!

Nara: (Laughs).  You act like I have no self control!

Raku: Only sometimes honey….  (He says nervously).

Nara: (Laughs more).  Say that again and were sparring next.

Raku: (Sighs).  Yes dear.

Yami: (Gets up and heads outside with Kura not far behind).  Well, I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to watch the fight.

Shizen: Yes, but everyone should stay clear of the fight.  Don’t get too close to it if you’re watching.

Jennifer: (Stand with Kairi to go as well looking at Chazz).  Good luck you three.  I hope it goes well but just be careful.

Chazz: (Waves goodbye as he heads outside with his swords sheathed but ready).

Nara: (Is outside stretching her arms and legs going away from the house and into a open area of grass with little tree life in the area).  This looks like a good spot I suppose.

Chazz: (Looks around the spot).  Yes, it does seem pretty good indeed.

Nara: (Pulls out her swords from her waist being 2 European style one handed blades both edges sharp swinging them around a little playing with them in her hands.  She then grips the hilt which has purple leather on them and a dark purple gem at the end as she smiles at Chazz).  Are you sure you want to do this?  Not too late to call it off.

Chazz: (Holds out his swords as they light up with the two energies of both light and dark).  I feel like I should be asking you that.

Nara: (Shrugs).  Well, I never fought a balance user before so I am interested in how much power you hold and your pretty confident so this should be fun.  Besides I’m not one to back down from a challenge.  (Smirks a little and readies her swords.  As she readies herself, she blinks, and her eyes become purple snake eyes and snake fangs in her mouth that are clearly visible when she opens her mouth).

Chazz: (Readies himself as well as he makes sure his blades are ready to go at anytime).

Nara: After you.  (Watches Chazz every movement carefully the tension filling the air making everyone watching feel a little uncomfortable).

Chazz: Oh, but ladies first.

Nara: Such a gentleman I see, well if you insist.  (Charges at Chazz quickly and agilely both swords aimed for him so that he would have to block and be defensive right away as she is offensive).

Chazz: (Charges back as well with his swords behind him but two streams of lights following as though he holding multiple energy swords).

Nara: It almost feels like I am fighting three, so unfair.  (Sees the swords and dodges blocking them, skillfully able to bend her body away and around flipping around them being very flexible and having a lot of agility as her advantage).

Chazz: (Follows through with her movements and begins his onslaught of attacks as his swords energies begin to adapt to his opponent).

Nara: (Continues to dodge and weave through Chazz’s attacks as she watches closely seeing a very small opening and diving between his legs and rolling and striking from behind.  She is clearly studying her opponent carefully as Chazz does the same to her).

Chazz: (A shadow sword appears to block the strike from behind).

Nara: Nice one.  (She twirls her weapons a little and they shorten into knives that are attaches to a bracelet like wrist guard by a chain designed with a snake with a purple gem at the hilt leading into the bracelet.  She charges in again in quick sudden strikes and backing up before she does so again like how a snake darts at prey).

Chazz: (Manages to block her attack as the he gets back a few feet and then recollect himself for a moment.  He attacks Nara again, but he is much faster than before).

Nara: (Gets behind Chazz as she blocks feeling the strength from his strikes.  The lower half of her body becomes a snake and the end of the tail grabs Chazz’s foot lifting him into the air by his foot, so he is upside down with a smirk as she is enjoying the fight).

Chazz: (Disappears into his shadow form helping him slip out of the hold).

Nara: (Curls the tail behind her and looks around carefully sticking her tongue out quickly many times like a serpent tongue.  She then slashes in back of her at Chazz in a instant and backing up again).  Nice trick.

Jennifer: (As she watches with everyone else).  Wow she is so quick.

Shizen: Yes, her instincts are good, and she can taste the air like a reptile would and that makes her difficult to sneak up on.  She also has great skill in her animal being the snake and her strength lies in her agility and flexibility.  She is quite skilled indeed.

Chazz: (Smirks as he blocks the blow).  You sure about that?  (In an instant a black shadow swords mixed with light and start to float around Nara as they have Hiki’s fire of light surrounding them.

Shizen: (Thinks to herself while carefully watching “hmm she is skilled but I’m not sure how she would do against balance”).

Nara: Well, I’ve had enough of seeing fire if I say so.  (Blocks the swords and curls her tail tightly around her so that she can lunge upward to get away.  She then lunges at Chazz wrapping her lower half around him to restrain him tightly as a constrictor would, but she doesn’t make the grip so tight she would crush him as she smirks).  I’m not that easy to trap.

Chazz: (Snaps his fingers as a gate to balance is opening).  True you may not be neither am I.  (He slips through Nara’s grip and into the gate).

Nara: (Raises her eyebrows being surprised then turns facing a gate appearing and Chazz stepping out of it.  She goes over with a smile and hands on her hips).  You’re not bad at all, heard that balance was strong but you’re proving it now.  It makes things fun.

Chazz: I do my best to please….  (As he comes out with two different swords.  His new weapons are the swords both Hiki and Tori would have in their second form from the flaming light sword from Hiki with the shadow like katana from Tori).

Nara: (Readies her knives on the chain and watches carefully again).  Hmm you changed you weapons, interesting… After you… I insist.  (Hisses her last word a little as she prepares for anything).

Chazz: (Walks around Nara with his swords at the ready).

Nara: (Walks around Chazz and they circle each other.  She goes close to the ground as her snake lower part slithers across the ground and ready to grab him at a instant).

Chazz: Well Nara this has been quite fun now hasn’t it?  (He stands by the gate that he came out of with his swords down for a moment).

Nara: (Lowers her weapons as well crossing her arms casually seeing him stop and pause the match).  Yes, it has, I never imagined you would be this good.  You’re not bad at all.  (Smiles politely).  You’re a little bit of a challenge I will admit even so it makes things interesting.

Chazz: Well, I have to be good if I’m handling two spirits at once now, don’t I?

Nara: True indeed and especially if those spirits are opposites.  I think that girl Kairi has two as well and their dark spirit.  I don’t feel the element fits her, but she will be quite skilled as well as she grows as well as Jennifer.  It takes a lot to control Shizen, but she is quite good at the power since she’s not losing her mind like the others.  Your little group is quite strong indeed.

Chazz: Well, I believe that they are always going to be strong, but shall we make a show for the people watching?

Nara: Hmm well that was a good warm up but what do you have in mind to entertain them with?  (Pulls out her knives again and smirks).

Chazz: Maybe like this.  (As he smirks both of his swords make pillars of energy appear as well as his own energy flowing with the two).

Nara: (Raises her eyebrows and whistles looking at the swords).  Ooh so the flashy stuff, that sounds fun.  (As her energy begins to glow purple around her with a mist surrounding her as well.  It leaves a mist like trail with every movement as her scales become a darker purple.  The scales begin to cover more of her skin and her fangs grow longer showing more making little bit of a scarier look).  Sorry but my power is not a flashy as yours it seems.  It doesn’t mean it not as deadly however so be careful.

Shizen: Hmm things are getting serious.  (As she sighs and starts to put a barrier around the house).

Kairi: (Sees the scared look on Zahir and Raku’s faces).  What is wrong, why do you look so scared?

Zahir and Raku: (Are silent as they look at the two fighting).

Chazz: (Laughs).  I figured as much but I am not done just yet.  Hold on for a moment.  (Holds the swords).  Driven to chaos balance shall be the answer.  Bring forth that balance, HikiTori!  (As Chazz says this Nara can see Hiki and Tori holding Chazz’s arms as his body is covered in their energy.  When the energy disappears, Nara sees Chazz with a new weapon that no one has seen.  As Chazz is holding two katana like swords that are both black and white yet on the blades themselves, they have a cracks in them with their opposite colors on each.  They each have a half circle on each as though they can become one).

Nara: (Looks surprised by the power and weapons, moving closer to see the weapon better).  That’s impressive, if I didn’t know any better, I would say you almost mastered your power and at such a young age.  I have to say I am impressed, much flashier than my power.

Chazz: (Laughs a little bit).  Well, it always has to be when it is the first time showing it.

Nara: I suppose, and so shall we dance then?  (Readies her knives after twirling them in her hand and smirks).

Chazz: If you wish to its fine with me.

Nara: Great let me test this power of yours.  (Lunges at Chazz in a quick strike lunging back in an instant and doing this repeatedly).

Chazz: (Lunges back as well).  I will gladly.

Nara: (Backs up a little and prepares to lunge again and strike like a snapping snake.  The mist that goes with her movements stays where they are like clouds on the field that spread as she moves).

Chazz: (Is able to keep up with her movements with ease as he keeps clashing with Nara).

Nara: (Dodges skillfully again using her flexibility to weave through the attacks then disappears into the mist that she was making with her movements).

Chazz: (Does not seem to struggle or hesitate as he creates gusts of wind to move the mists away).

Nara: (Pouts a little then makes her tail try to trip Chazz a little as she lunges at him to try and make him go off balance).

Chazz: (Avoids Nara’s attempt as he kicks her away).

Nara: (Backs away quickly and hisses as her tail curls around her to jump back and ready her weapons once again).

Chazz: (Readies himself for Nara’s next attack).

Nara: (Doesn’t attack going into a defensive pose her instinct telling her to do so but has a plan in mind with a slight smirk).  Come at me… And don’t hold back.

Chazz: I should be saying that to you or is it that you cannot do it?

Nara: Just attack already!  (Watches carefully).

Jennifer: (Looks very confused as she watches).  Won’t she be at a disadvantage if he strikes first?

Shizen: Knowing her… Not at all… She wants to be pushed back and put in a corner.

Kairi: (Looks confused as well).  Why?

Shizen: That I cannot say at the moment, but Zahir and Raku should know very well from their experiences fighting her.

Chazz: I am afraid not.  You may have planned to either trap me with your tail and hold me until I give up, or you will block my attack which will give you a chance to disarm me.

Nara: No, I already tried that, but I can try again… It’s something else I have in mind.  If you want me to fight at my best, I will find another way.  (Slashes at Chazz a little but still wants to block his attacks and be the one backing up.  She makes that quite clear and pouts a little).

Chazz: (Sighs shaking his head as he disappears again).

Nara: (Stops and looks for Chazz sticking her serpent tongue out again to taste the air yet she tastes nothing.  She looks around carefully being on guard).

Chazz: (Begins to fade behind Nara but also in front of her).

Nara: (Strikes the Chazz in front of her as her tail hits the one behind her swiftly).

Chazz: (Both of him disappears as more appear above and below Nara).

Nara: (Turns to strike both of the Chazz’s then staying on guard not sure why she cannot pick up his sent until now).  I see, Their illusions.

Chazz: (Reappears in front of her).  In a way but there is more to it as it will take more than illusion to defeat you now would it not?

Nara: (Smirks a little facing one of the illusions but still stays on guard).  Well thank you for thinking so and that is why I would like to fight you at your best and so I can reach my best.  (Readies her knives but has a big smirk as she readies herself for anything).

Chazz: (Sighs as his illusions swings around in a different order that seem unusual or unorganized).

Nara: (Dodges the illusions but notices the difference in his swings and the fact that she cannot sense his movement which puzzles her and slows her down a little cursing a little bit to herself but out loud).

Chazz: (As he is swinging his swords his energies around them begin to change to a twilight color.  That begins make little sparks around Nara as the two swords slowly combine into one blade).

Nara: (Tries to strike at Chazz finally finding the real one but the sword acts like a barrier unable to hit him.  She tries to dodge the sparks not sure what magic he is using but seeming like a mix of dark and light becoming more impressed with the fact he can control and combined both elements).

Chazz: (As the two swords combine, they become a longsword with a heavy curve at end of the blade with what looks like rings that are attached to the bottom of the blade with black and gray like color on it as well.  The hilt looks the same as before but combined into one).

Nara: (Watches carefully being ready for anything but also looking at the changes in the weapon being interested in what it can do backing up a little, so she has room the dodge).  Interesting weapon you got there.

Chazz: You think so?  Thank you, let me put to use.  (As Chazz charges forward).

Nara: (Tries to block and counter but the strength of the weapon is too much sending her back.  She recovers quickly to dodge knowing she can’t block such a strong weapon well).

Chazz: (He is also beginning to become faster and faster with energy like wings on his back.  A clear support from Tori).

Nara: (Narrows her eyes noticing the speed her flexibility and agility making it, so she avoids the strikes as well as noticing the wings.  Trying to wrap Chazz up as she dodges around him but is difficult once the tail is slashed at having to move away to dodge it being harmed).

Chazz: (Keeps his onslaught going as he makes sure to keep Nara from wrapping him up, so he tries to overpower her which is working in his favor.  He begins to use magic similar to Hiki’s being her support for him).

Nara: (Curses as she is pushed back but then tries to strike but she is sent flying back into a tree making her stumble.  She stands back up looking for a way to get out of the situation or a opening to dodge better looking a little scared in her eyes).

Jennifer: It looks like she’s losing.

Shizen: (As she watches the fight closely and keeping notes in her head on Chazz’s abilities and strength).  It will look like that, but she is really right where she wants to be.

Jennifer: (Gives a confused look but continues to watch).

Nara: (As she is blocked with no way out, she looks scared but in a instant the look changes with a small smirk as her eyes that show her instincts come through.  She instantly lunges at Chazz wrapping him up as her fangs bite down on his shoulder at a much quicker speed the before).

Shizen: (Sighs).  Hopefully the island is not destroyed now….

Jennifer: (Just looks completely dumbfounded seeing Nara bite Chazz).  She… Bit him?  (Look at Zahir and Raku to see if this is normal and see they look even more scared).  Is everything alright?

Zahir and Raku: (Look at each other like as if to say “uh-oh”).

Raku: We may need to strengthen the barrier a little bit.

Shizen: I will handle the barrier, do not worry though she has no control like this.  It is like an adrenaline rush she is going through.

Chazz: (Pulls Nara off of him).  A bit too forward now aren’t you Nara?  (Holds onto his wound from Nara).

Nara: Yes, but that was just what I needed.  (Wipes her mouth looking less in control then when they had started the fight back at a much greater speed and strength.  The purple mist that comes out of her moves becoming more poisonous to inhale).

Chazz: (Is able to keep up with her assault but is wondering about the mist but in an instant is cornered by the mist that quickly surrounds him.  The mist reaches for him and burns his skin a little once it makes contact with him).

Nara: (Continues to move around Chazz dodging the strikes making the mist spread as she does making less area for Chazz to move).

Chazz: (Says to himself with Hiki).  I see… Just like when I had fought with Amber… Well than how should I handle this… Hiki….

Hiki: Yes master?

Chazz: You can cast some wind magic, right?

Hiki: I believe so… Want to try it?

Chazz: In a bit, let me try something.  (In an instant Chazz moves up to avoid the mist for the moment).

Nara: (Rushes to jump at Chazz trying to reach but weapons can’t reach as far so she strikes with her tail).  You can’t escape my poison!

Chazz: No, I just wanted a change of scenery.  Seeing so much mist is not good for the eyes.  (He dodges Nara’s tail with some support from Tori to glide).

Nara: (Moves one of her blades to her tail as she strikes up at Chazz).  You will come down eventually though.

Chazz: (Blocks the attack as three white orbs gather around his open hand).

Nara: (Doesn’t stop her attacks as she ducks into her mist to appear in another area of her mist to attack again from a different angle).

Chazz: (Blocks the next attack as the energy begins to gather in his hands).

Nara: (Is not very in control of herself to stop but senses something’s wrong and her instincts are on high alert).

Chazz: (The three orbs begin to form into a sphere full of wind and with darkness forming in it).

Nara: (Curses and does what she can to absorb the mist near her and condensing it into one area then hitting at Chazz with her tail almost whipping the condensed mist at him).

Chazz: (Avoids it as he grabs the energy with a tight hold).  Time to freshen up the air a bit… Storm of darkness!  (As he says this he throws the sphere into the ground and causes a black mist of his own to overtake the poison mist with a slight smoke like fog along with it).

Nara: (Tries to avoid the dark mist but is covered with fog looking around cautiously then up at Chazz eyes narrowed but with a small smirk).  Not bad, you countered my mist, smart.

Chazz: Thank you, thank you, but you may want to be careful in their Nara.  A shadow is a dangerous thing.

Nara: (Looks into the shadows trying to taste the air then back at Chazz with a smirk).  You be careful as well… After all a venom is in your system.  (As Chazz feels his strength weaken slowly which it had been since Nara bit him in the shoulder feeling a weakness there that spreads).

Chazz: (Sits down on the branch).  True I do feel weaker but someone else wanted a turn so I will let them… Watch out.  (A sudden dark shadow shows up behind Nara with the same sword that Chazz had but of pure dark energy).

Nara: (Turns and smiles politely at the shadow but there’s something scary about the smile while doing a small bow).  Well Tori are you my new dance partner?

Tori: Maybe for a little bit anyway while Hiki handles the poison.

Nara: (Readies her weapons as she smirks more).  I wish her luck on that.  It’s quite hard to get rid of, especially from a bite.  Anyways you seem to like to fight so this will be fun.  (Starts to circle Tori while showing her fangs).

Tori: I wouldn’t be so sure that it will be difficult for Hiki since she’s the best healer we know.  She has studied poisons since the fight with Zahir so it should go well… So, I’ll dance for a bit.

Nara: Well, I will be impressed then though it seems a little unfair 3 against 1 but that just makes it more fun for me…. Yes, let the dance begin.  (Strikes at Tori at a quick speed in that instant).

Tori: (Blocks with ease as he pushes her back).  Need more than speed to keep me down Nara.

Nara: I would think so if you reached you 3rd form being so young.  However, that’s what makes it more fun.  (Starts to use her tail to attack Tori and uses her tongue to taste the air to be aware of her surroundings).

Tori: (Doges the tail as he moves to his side and strikes the tail before retreating into the darkness).

Nara: (Takes her tail back quickly curling it around her from the small cut on it making her hiss.  She then looks for Tori knowing she is out of her element with the dark mist and creates her own mist around herself as she tastes the air to look for Tori being on guard).

Tori: (Springs up with shadow blades surrounding Nara in a fashion of the iron maiden).

Nara: (Looks for an escape from the blades getting ready to dodge them bringing out a third knife in her tail as she gets ready.  She throws the blade in her tail at Tori, but it goes through him.  It ends up hitting the barrier by the house cracking it right in front of Raku with Zahir beside him.  The blade is stuck in the barrier and poking into it right in front of Raku’s face, most by him being shocked and taken off guard by that).

Shizen: (Sighs in relief with her hand on the barrier the second the knife hit causing it to not pierce through fully).  That was close, glad I caught that.

Jennifer: (Is too shocked to say anything at first).

Yami: (Was standing by Raku’s other side and stumbled backward and falling as the knife hits being caught off guard).  What the fuck was that!

Kura: (Pulls Kairi away quickly making her go behind everyone in a protective manner).

Raku: (His breathing stops for a second as he almost was faced with death).

Zahir: (Pulls the dagger out of the barrier).  Oh, we may need another layer.

Raku: Yeah… I need to lay down.  (Stiffly steps back looking very pale).

Shizen: Go ahead Raku, I suppose I will keep my hand on the barrier to strengthen it.  (Puts both her hands on the barrier and focuses on it more).

Jennifer: (Still is in shock).  … Is this normal… His wife almost killed him!

Yami: Is she insane!

Raku: (Laughs nervously as he scratches his head).  Sadly yes.

Shizen: It’s just who she is, it cannot be helped.

 

Meanwhile Nara clashes with the shadow blades and uses her flexibility to dodge the whole time smirking as if enjoying herself.

Tori: (Strikes Nara as the shadow blades do as well).

Nara: Hmm not too bad.  (As she dodges ducking between Tori’s legs to strike, she doesn’t end up striking but instead shallowly bites Tori.  She then stands behind him to recover her stance but as she did that, she was cut on her tail gritting teeth a little as she backs up).

Tori: (The him that Nara had bitten disappears into a shadowy figure as the real him comes behind her and kicks her away).

Nara: (Hisses a little as she recovers and looks for a way to counter knowing she is at a disadvantage with the dark mist.  Her stamina starts to run low as well looking a little out of breath but still smiles.  Something in the back of her mind bugs her not normally feeling this weak or low on energy at this stage of a fight).

Tori: (Stretches out for second).  Should we be done for now since you’re getting tired?  Master is as well.

Nara: Oh me?  I’m not tired at all but if you wish to stop then that is fine with me.  That means this ends in a draw.  (Lowers her weapons and smiles politely at Tori).

Tori: Yeah, let’s end it here since I think that dagger you threw almost killed Raku so before we scare someone again let’s just end it here.

Nara: (Looks behind Tori where the barrier is being concerned for her husband).  Oh… Oops… I will make it up to him in a moment….  (Looks up at Chazz sitting on the branch with Hiki).  Well, it looks like we are done here oh and Hiki don’t worry.  I did not mark Chazz with the bite won’t stay.  I have Raku as my own and no one else so don’t worry.  (Smiles at Hiki).

Hiki: I know because if you did, I would have to destroy you Nara.  (Smiles back but with evil which does not happen often as Tori and Chazz flinch by her statement).

Nara: (Continues to smile as she uses her tail to swing up to sit next to Hiki).  Aww such an intimidating look and it is so cute and so protective to.  I think we will be good friends’ ooh and if at any point you need help learning how to seduce him let me know.  (Puts an arm over Hiki’s shoulder as she whispers the last of what she says to Hiki, so Chazz or Tori do not hear her).

Hiki: (Blushes but shakes her head yes).  It would help heavily.

Nara: (Has a big smile as she lowers her voice still).  Great though first you must claim him as your own or perhaps you will end up sharing him though that seems not too possible with such intimidation.  Whatever happens I am happy to teach all I can… Raku can confirm I am quite good at that.

Hiki: Easier said than done but I will do what I can.  it all goes to him but, but… I want him… too….  (She says to Nara in almost a whisper).

Nara: (Laughs a little while looking down).  It will work out… I know from experience… Believe it or not Raku had feelings for another when we weren’t together yet… He dated her for a few days and then realized how much of an idiot he was with not noticing my feelings and that Ziona was in love with someone else being Zahir… If you love him that much… Things will work out.  I know it.

Hiki: Yeah, but then at the same time I want the other person to be happy.  I don’t want to be the only one that is, but I want him to myself… I’m not sure anymore.

Nara: Like I said it will work out and you and the other will be happy.  Just give it a little time but if you end up sharing the other girl seems… Shyer… I think if you let her, she would let you have him, so you are the happy one… But then that is up to you two from there… I cannot tell you two what to do with those feelings.  That is for you to decide.

Hiki: I know you can’t, but I know we will figure something out.  Thank you, Nara, for the advice.  We can talk more about this another time alright and I’m happy that your happy with Raku now.  You shine pretty brightly when you are with him.

Nara: I’m glad you think so… He has been there for me all this time… So, I am thankful to have him… And I know he won’t ever leave my side… He proved that many times.  (Looks at Raku who is still near the house once the mist fades and smiles at him with a loving look.  She remembers when she first started her relationship with him turning into a flashback while she tells the story with him to Hiki and any others who would want to listen).

 

It is late in the day on the street as everyone heads home about this time of day.  Raku does the same carrying groceries, but he stops in his tracks as hears fighting in the alleyway.  He sees a man fly through the ally way and what looks like the silhouette of a giant snake in the shadows of an alley.  It goes away quickly like it was never there the same moment he catches a glimpse of it.

Raku: (Looks at the alley).  Oh, my who ever fought was very skilled to be this quick… I was supposed to head home… But I’m not sure now. (He sees another man go flying and Nara step out looking very angry with fist clenched).

Nara: (Yells at the men running).  That will teach you not to mess with girls and think you can have your little fun!  If I see you again, I’m making sure you won’t be able to use those parts ever again!  … You obviously don’t need them….  (The men look terrified and run away as quick as possible like they had seen a monster).

Raku: (Looks at Nara in silence as he sees the man runs off).

Nara: (Sighs to calm down while dusting herself off.  Looking at a tear by the sleeve of her shirt she makes a pout).  Had some nerve ripping my shirt and this was my favorite one too.

Raku: Well, I always did know not to mess with girl’s clothes since it is like their hair.  Always a treasure to them.

Nara: (Turns facing Raku and blushes slightly as she walks over).  I umm hi Raku, sorry you had to see that, but they deserved that.  What brings you around here are you heading home as well?

Raku: Yes, I was just getting stuff for dinner.  Want to come over for the night?  I’m pretty sure it would be alright with me.  (Points in the direction his house lies).

Nara: I umm sure and you can tell me about your day.  I heard Ziona stopped by the market, did you see her?  I know you like her.  (Teases Raku nudging him a little but, on the inside, feels feelings for Raku that she hides not wanting to fall in love.  It’s her fear to let anyone so close and see the real her so she smiles for him knowing he has feelings for Ziona and being happy he has his crush).

Raku: (Blushes heavily).  … Ah… Shut up… Or I won’t make your favorite food Nara.

Nara: (Pouts putting her hands on her hips).  Oh, come on, don’t be so mean.  I won the last card game, so a deal is a deal so you’re the one cooking anything I like this time.  A deal is a deal and you promised not to get back on it.

Raku: (Pretends to think as he smiles).  Hmm I don’t know.

Nara: (Pouts more).  Oh, come on don’t be so mean, I won the last card game so you’re the one cooking anything I like this time.  It’s only fair.

Raku: (Laughs a bit as he pokes Nara’s sides).  Yes, I will follow up with my deal but keep messing with me then maybe I won’t.  (As he smirks a little bit).

Nara (Jolts a little from being poked being ticklish and then crosses her arms as she continues to pout.  She can’t help but laugh however).  Fine but maybe we can play cards again… Ooh and maybe we could make things interesting and make it more of a dare type of game for the next time someone loses.  (Gets a mischievous smirk and laughs more).

Raku: (Laughs a little bit).  We could play again though I don’t trust you when it comes to that stuff but why not try it.

Nara: (Acts like her feeling are hurt).  You don’t trust me?  I mean it’s not like I cheat, I’m just so much better at the game that you can’t keep up.  (Gives a teasing smile as they reach Raku’s house, and she nudges him a little with a smile and laugh).

Raku: (Pokes Nara’s side again).  Not my fault I’m not that good at keeping my poker face.  Trust me the last thing I want to do is insult you because you’re a pretty good person behind the teasing.

Nara: (Jolts forward a little again then smiles at the last part blushing a little as she looks at Raku).  Thank you, Raku… It means a lot that you think I am… Not many do… Thank you. (Realizes what she said and looks down a little not wanting to look so weak by letting her emotions show not wanting to open up).

Raku: (He taps her shoulder a little).  You don’t have to say thanks.  If people can’t see how great you are behind the masks, then they don’t deserve to see it.  I see it clearly because you’re a great person

Nara: (Looks up with a smile so she does not have to show how she really feels).

Raku: Why wouldn’t I?  True you don’t show it much, but you shine better when you’re smiling.

Nara: (Her eyes widen, and she blushes walking ahead of Raku a little to open the door for him).  I umm thank you now let’s get some food… I’ll even help you make it if you’re nice.

 

Later on, the next day as Raku sees Ziona in the park deciding that he would have the courage to finally talk to her that day.

Raku: (becomes nervous seeing Ziona alone and isn’t sure if he should talk to her since it may slip out that he likes her.  He finally takes a breath and builds up his courage to go talk to Ziona alone).  H-hey Ziona.

Ziona: (Looks up from her work and smiles polity at Raku but she is still very shy going about her greeting).  Oh, umm h-hi Raku… How are you today.

Raku: H-hi… Why are you by yourself out here… It’s getting late.

Ziona: (Looks up at the sky being a little surprised).  Oh, it is… I-I guess I lost track of time practicing… Oops I think I’m almost done anyways… You can sit with me if you like…. (Instantly blushes and becomes flustered like normally would even with silly things like this and starts to ramble).  Oh, I’m sorry you probably were heading somewhere.  I-I’m sorry you don’t have to if you don’t want to.

Raku: (Blushes as well but shakes it off as he sits down next to Ziona).  No… No, it’s alright with me… Since I can’t leave you here by yourself… Ziona.

Ziona: (Blushes more and looks down).  Oh n-no it’s fine, I mean I live near here so it’s not too much trouble… And I like it out here… It’s peaceful.  (Has a slight smile as she looks at the trees that have small pink flower buds on them as a small wind blows through making her hair move with it a little in a graceful way).

Raku: (Can’t help but stare at Ziona as she says this).  And it is beautiful as well.  (Looks at the plants in front of him but he knows he is talking about Ziona).

Ziona: (Smiles as she faces Raku).  I-it really is… Whenever I feel lost or have a hard time… I come out here to work or do some arts and crafts… It’s fun and it calms me down….  (Realizes she is rambling a little and blushes).  That must sound silly, I’m sorry.

Raku: (Laughs a little bit).  Don’t say sorry, it’s fine.

Ziona: (Looks down a little with a blush).  I-I’m sorry….

Raku: (Still laughs as he pokes her side).  Ramble all you want it’s fine with me Ziona.  Anything you want to talk about I’m here to be your rambling friend.

Ziona: (Looks at Raku but continues to blush).  T-thank you… Not many listen to what I say because I tend to panic a lot… When people wait for me… So, t-thank you for listening… Though I usually end up listening to others… I don’t mind at all… So do you have anything on your mind… maybe I can help since you usually stop by when you do….

Raku: (Thinks about his answer carefully).  Well, I’m not sure if I should tell you this… Umm….

Ziona: (Stops what she is working on and turns to face Raku more being concerned).  What is it, you can tell me anything…? Is there something wrong?

Raku: (Laughs lightly as he waves his hand up and down).  No, no nothing like that.  It’s just… There’s this girl I’m wondering about….

Ziona: (Gives a confused look).  Oh… Who is it and what are you wondering about…?  Is it like liking someone…? I don’t know much about relationship things… I do know that if you like someone… You should tell them… I-I mean you’re too nice to say no to, so I think whoever they are… They are lucky.  (Smiles at Raku but then thinks that she shouldn’t give advice on something she has trouble with herself).

Raku: That may be true… But I’m not sure if she likes me back and I’m not sure how I could take the rejection.  (Looks down with his hands tightening in a nervous way).

Ziona: W-well….  (Looks down a little with a slight blush as she thinks of her own feelings).  I guess I know how you feel a little bit… But I guess if you want a answer you will just have to ask… And then you can move on from there with your life with either answer… But I don’t think anyone could reject you… Your too kind, they would be so lucky….  (Smiles kindly at Raku to try and help him).

Raku: (Is still looking down).  But what if I want to do it now and I can’t wait… Yet also I’m scared.

Ziona: (Gives Raku a hug and smiles sweetly to try and help more).  It’s alright… Whatever happens you have people that care about you… And will comfort you… And I will be there to… So don’t worry… You will be fine.

Raku: (Hugs Ziona back, holding her tightly).  Ziona… But what if that person is you… What would happen than….

Ziona: (Lets go of the hug to look at Raku looking very surprised and shocked not expecting him to say that.  She first questions if she heard correctly as she begins to blush again).  M-me…?

Raku: (Is still looking down but shakes his head yes).  I’m sorry… I just couldn’t keep it to myself anymore… I’m sorry if I am a bother to you right now….

Ziona: (Blushes heavily as she panics a little not wanting Raku to look so upset and still from the shock).  I-I umm it’s alright… Please don’t be sad… I umm… You are very kind and a great person it’s just….  (Looks down a little as she frowns).  W-why me… What makes me stand out… I’m just a person who struggles with the simplest of things… So why do I stand out… I never did before… I always was in the corner and usually not noticed… So, what makes me more important to you….  (Looks down more, looking at her hands with a frown).

Raku: (Is still looking away from Ziona since he didn’t plan on telling her at all).  Even if you ask me that… I’m not sure myself… It was just something… About you that always caught my attention… That you always stood out in my head.

Ziona: (Looks down for a moment more than at Raku and how he’s looking away not wanting him to be upset and not able to bring herself to say no to him… She wants him to be happy, so she hesitantly hugs him at first.  It is then it is more comforting petting his head as she holds him but still looking down).  I-it’s alright Raku… I’m just not sure how this works… I’m not sure how to be in a relationship… Would I be any good at it… And how do I make sure your happy… What if I’m not able to….

Raku: (Is surprised from hear this making him start to perk up).  Are you sure Ziona?  You don’t need to force yourself for my sake….

Ziona: (Continues to hold Raku).  I-I want you to be happy Raku… And if that makes you happy… Then I will try to do my best… I just hope I’m good enough to make you happy… I’m not sure how….

Raku: But… But I want you to be happy too….

Ziona: (Let’s go of the hug and smiles reassuringly at Raku).  Don’t worry… I’m happy when the people close to me are happy… So please don’t be sad or upset… I don’t want to see you like that… So don’t worry… I’m going to be in the park tomorrow for a walk… If you would like to walk with me, you could… If you want to, I mean… You don’t have to… But there’s a garden I like to walk through… So maybe you can come with me in the morning….  (Blushes as she talks not sure what to say being a little flustered).

Raku: (Becomes flustered as well as he holds Ziona’s hand).  I’ll be there… No matter what… I’ll be there.

Ziona: (Blushes more and nods not able to say much more as she stares at their hands).  I-I umm… I’ll see you tomorrow then… And I will be there for you to….  (She gives Raku a hug but then feels sad for some reason as she thinks of her own feelings for Zahir, but she doesn’t show it wanting Raku to be happy.  He’s so kind and caring towards her and not able to say no and break his heart… She couldn’t imagine doing that).

Raku: (Smiles as he walks off to go home with a skip in his step soon after the hug).

Ziona: (Watches Raku walk away and smiles with a wave back.  She then walks home herself frowning slightly trying to push her true feelings back a little).

Raku: (As he is about to leave the market, he meets Zahir as he is leaving as well).  Hey Zahir, I got something to tell you!

Zahir: (Hearing Raku he is surprised but is also happy to see his friend seeming to be in a good mood).  What’s up Raku,

why so excited?

Raku: Well… I confessed to the girl that I like… And I didn’t get rejected!  (His face is down but happiness is showing).

Zahir: (Is surprised hearing this thinking he should do the same with Ziona if Raku was able to).  Well, who was, come on don’t leave me hanging here!

Raku: (He keeps looking away from Zahir not knowing what he will say will make things awkward).  Well… It was Ziona….

Zahir: (He is silent hearing this since he isn’t sure what to think at the moment).  I see… Good for you Raku… But I’m going to get going alright… good job Raku….  (There is slight pain in his words).

Raku: Yeah, I’ll see you later Zahir….  (Walks away from Zahir and resumes to head home).

 

Nara: (Earlier in the day as she is at Hana’s house chatting with one of her closest friends).  Hana please, it’s not like that he just made me dinner and we played cards, that’s it.

Hana: Hmm are you sure?  That sounds like a date to me.
Nara: (Blushes a little).  I-it was not!  We just hung out, that’s it!

Hana: Oh, come on Nara.  I know you like him, whenever you are with him you smile a lot more.  You’re happier when around him.
Nara: (Is about to reply she is not but instead looks down being unable to say that).  Hana… What if I did… I don’t know how those feelings work… And I don’t want to make things awkward… I don’t want him to see me and turn away like the others… I would rather things stay this way….

Hana: (Hugs Nara and smiles reassuringly).  It’s alright, I accepted you so why not give him a chance too?

Nara: (Continues to look down and sighs).  I guess you’re right… I-I mean maybe… If I did like him… Hypothetically I should tell him… I but I don’t think I would be ready to show him how I really look.  (Looks down at her legs scales forming into a tail for a moment then back to normal legs as she frowns).

Hana: (Hugs Nara again to comfort her).  It’s alright, I think that’s a good start though. (Let’s go of the hug then gets a big smile as she thinks of a idea) ooh maybe you could give him a present ooh like heart shaped cookies those would be great!

Nara: (blushes and becomes embarrassed) I’m not doing that; you know I’m a good cook!

Hana: It was just a thought and I’m sure you can do it.

Nara: (Sighs).  We’ll see but I got to get going.  I will see you some other time alright?  (Stands up and gets ready to leave).
Hana: Alright but think about what I said.

Nara: Fine but no promises that I’m doing anything.  Especially that cookie thing.  (As she leaves Hana’s house with a slight pout).

Hana: (Waves and then frowns looking down being by herself now).  Someday you will be able to open up to people and find others that accept you… I know you will.

 

Later that day when Nara is expecting Raku to come over soon, she is busy in the kitchen rushing to figure out something being out of her element.  Many pans are stacked all over in her attempts to cook.  Many of the cookies look burnt but by a miracle a batch looks not as burnt after many tries.  She keeps them looking sort of misshaped but other than that the best she has made being proud of herself.  She gets see through wrapping paper and wraps it around a basket looking a bit messy, but she is still proud she was able to do this.  She puts the cookies in admiring her work and then sighs shaking her head.

Nara: This is silly… Should I really be doing this… I did all that baking… So, I should try I guess… But I wish I wasn’t feeling so scared… He’s been a close friend for so long… I just hope this doesn’t ruin that….  (Wipes her fears and nervousness away as she looks at the basket one more time to see if she can fix anything).

Raku: (He arrives at the house so he can eat with Nara again since he lost the last game once again).

Nara: (Hears a knock on the door and instantly blushes.  She tries to stay calm and not show it as much but still feels nervous.  She grabs the basket of cookies holding it behind her back and answers the door seeing Raku).  Oh, hello Raku… You seem in a good mood.  I’m glad ooh did something happen at the market… Also, I have something I wanted to tell you as well.  (Blushes a little but smiles at Raku slightly her hold on the basket tight behind her back being very nervous at this point).

Raku: Oh, hey Nara… Well, I confessed to Ziona in the park… and… And I didn’t get rejected… So, I guess now my crush is a real thing… Yet… I can’t stop feeling I have now….

Nara: (Pauses for a moment wanting to hide in a dark corner but suppresses this feeling best she can as she gives Raku a fake smile to hide her feelings).  That’s… That’s great Raku… I’m very happy for you… We can celebrate and maybe I’ll even try cooking tonight… I guess I’ve been practicing enough.

Raku: Thanks Nara and you cooking?  This I must see.  Oh, what did you need to tell me?

Nara: Hey I can cook; it just is burnt most of the time… And it was nothing important… Don’t worry about it.  (Opens the door more for Raku to come in as she tries to keep her smile.  Walking in she moves the basket in front of her, so he does not see it, but he catches a glance of it as she moves it).

Raku: What’s that basket for?  Seems pretty important or were you expecting someone else to come by?

Nara: (Still faces away looking down now with her back turned so he wouldn’t see her like this wanting to be happy for him).  N-no… No… I was… Just practicing making cookies… I guess I did alright….

Raku: (Holds his hand out for a cookie with an excited grin).  Well come on, let’s not go wasting them now!  Give me one come on; I need to see if you can actually cook right!

Nara: (Still looks down hiding the basket more with her back turned to him, he now noticing she is upset for some reason).  I umm… Maybe some other time… Could we have dinner another time… I-I’m not feeling well I think….

Raku: (Feels like he did something wrong as he puts his hand on Nara’s shoulder).  Nara what’s wrong, come on you can tell me anything… If I did something wrong just tell me, come on… You mean a lot to me… But if you’re sure let me, just make something for you real quick then I’ll leave.

Nara: N-no it’s nothing you did… It’s my own fault for thinking something silly… I just need to be alone for a little bit… We’ll hang out later… I promise… I just need a little time to get over something….  (Her back is turned still as she tries to force herself not to tear up and for it not to show in her voice).

Raku: Oh… I guess I’ll just leave this here… Then and go.  (Raku had a bag full of Nara’s favorite snacks and places it on the nearest table).  Bye Nara… And I’m sorry….  (Leaves the house reluctantly).

Nara: (Hears the door close and gives out a shaky sigh as she goes to the garbage in the kitchen.  Placing the basket there she then looks at the snacks with her emotions getting the best of her as she looks at them.  Taking one in her hands but not eating them she just sits with her knees to her chest as she stares at it).  I-I’m… Stupid for thinking like that… Stupid for thinking he would see me that way….

Raku: (As he is leaving, he feels that his eyes are tearing up and feeling like he had made a bad choice but not knowing why.  He just feels sadness and regret as he heads home).

 

A few days pass and Nara has not been seen out much.  Raku still tries to reach her and at least puts her favorite snack outside her door.  As for his relationship with Ziona, he visits her in the park or garden every day sometimes bringing snacks that are Nara’s favorite which Ziona ends up not liking nearly as much.  They talk about anything that comes to mind though something seems off with the relationship like there is a hint of sadness in Ziona.  Raku one day sees Ziona walking to the market with Zahir on a separate street and sees something different about her then when she is with him.  She smiles… She laughed and blushed playing with her hands a little as she looks down… Looking happier than she had ever looked.

Zahir: (Is walking with Ziona since they have met up in the market by accident, but he still decides he wants to hang out with her).  Hey Ziona, what you up too.

Ziona: (Instantly blushes has smiles big meeting with Zahir unexpectedly).  O-oh hi Zahir… I just needed to go to the market again… I-I just forgot to get a few things.

Zahir: Hmm are you going to build something again or cooking something?  Since I know that you do that a lot since you’re basically a VIP in the art side of the market.

Ziona: (Blushes more and looks down to hide it with a smile as she plays with her hands a little).  I-I umm needed some things to practice making medicine… I’m getting better at it… So maybe I can help heal people who get sick… I just want to try and be more helpful to others….

Zahir: (Chuckles a little bit).  Well, it does seem like something you would do since you are very kind to people.

Ziona: (Looks at Zahir with a smile).  I-I thought so too so that’s why I became an apprentice at an herbalist shop… I-I think I will learn a lot there… I just drop things a little too much….

Zahir: That may be true… Very true… But you will get the hang of it.  I know you will Ziona.

Ziona: I hope so….  (Looks at a sale on art supplies and giggles a little looking up at Zahir).  I-I think I might stop for art supplies anyways… I was running out of paint… But then again, I was running out of wall room too.

Zahir: (Laugh along with Ziona).  Well want me to come in with you?

Ziona: (Blushes playing with her hands a little).  If you want to… But you don’t have to do any art as well… It’s just fun to do… It takes my mind off things sometimes….

Zahir: (Gets a small frown).  Is something bothering you Ziona?  Wouldn’t you tell Raku about it?

Ziona: (Is surprised at first but then looks down).  I-I’m not sure… I just don’t want anyone to be sad… I want them to be happy… And if I can give them that… Then that’s fine with me….

Zahir: (Looks down as well).  True don’t we all wish to be happy and have things go our way… But we can’t.  Sometimes we need to make people sad in order to make them feel happier somewhere down the line… It’s not always that easy to keep happiness but also don’t sacrifice your own for someone else’s.

Ziona: (Continues to look down).  I want the other person to be happy… I don’t mind if I’m not happy… I-I should be… I have a home and a lot to be thankful for… So, I shouldn’t ask for more… I should be grateful for what I have….

Zahir: Well, what would you do if the other person finds out you’re doing that… Then they wouldn’t be happy with themselves since they would feel like they are forcing their happiness onto you.

Ziona: (Starts to tear up).  I-I don’t want them to find out… Then I give them a broken heart… I can’t do that to them… I don’t know what to do… I don’t know….

Zahir: (Holds Ziona’s shoulder comfortingly).  Well maybe let your heart decide for you because there is no point if you’re not happy yourself… But it is all up to you.

Ziona: (Nods but still looks down).  Maybe you’re right… It’s just difficult I guess… Thank you Zahir… You’re always there for me… Thank you.  (Smiles at Zahir sweetly and blushes slightly).

Zahir: (Blushes a lot upon seeing the smile and looks away from Ziona as he wants to hide it).  Well, I grew up with you practically… So… So, someone has to do it.

Ziona: (Smiles at Zahir then frowns a little wanting to be with Zahir having deep feelings for him but can’t not wanting to break Raku’s heart.  She becomes upset and not sure of what to do as she hugs Zahir for a little comfort).  Still… Thank you….  (Her hold tightens as she says this as she tears up a little but hides it in the hug wanting to be with Zahir… She loves him… She just has a very hard time saying it… From the moment she met him she felt that connection and it still grows now).

Zahir: (Is surprised by the hug but holds Ziona tightly… He knows he doesn’t want to let go.  He wants to see more of Ziona, see more behind her pretty face.  See the girl that hides so much yet can shine just as bright as a star.  The person he wants to protect the most).  No problem, Ziona… You can talk to me anytime.

Ziona: (Nods and stays in the hug a moment longer.  She then let’s go and blushes looking away a little to hide it but with a sweet smile).  Zahir… Can we walk around the market a little more…? It’s nice spending time with you….

Zahir: (Smiles at the offer).  Sure, we can Ziona….

Ziona: (Gets a big smile as she walks through the market with Zahir as they talk about random things and laugh enjoying their time together).

 

Later that day around noon Ziona goes to the park with a basket of food.  She made sandwiches and snacks for a picnic as she sits on a bench to wait for Raku expecting him to have lunch with her.

Raku: (Is heading to the park as he is still thinking about what he saw in the market with Ziona and Zahir having overheard her when shopping in the market at the same time nearby but staying out of sight).

Ziona: (Is sitting and doing one of her little projects with yarn and then sees Raku walking into the park and smiles politely at him).  Oh… H-hello Raku… It’s nice to see you today.

Raku: (Wakes up from his thoughts and remembers where he is).  Oh, hi Ziona… Nice to see you too… Though I feel like I’m on a clock work now… Even if I’m not paying attention… I always walk back to you….

Ziona: (Blushes and looks down a little to hide it).  Oh, I umm… I-I’m glad I can be there to walk back to… I-I mean… I’m glad I make your heart happy….

Raku: True you do… But right now, I’m not so sure… But we can talk about that after we eat for a little bit.

Ziona: (Looks at Raku noticing something is troubling him and gets a concerned and worried look).  Raku… Is something wrong…?  Did I do something wrong?

Raku: No, no… Nothing of that sort but maybe I did something really wrong….

Ziona: (Moves over for Raku to sit on the bench as well looking even more concerned).  Like what…?  I can’t imagine you doing something wrong… Your very kindhearted so I don’t think you ever could.

Raku: (Looks down).  I’m not sure of that anymore… Who forces something onto someone else and doesn’t realize it?

Ziona: (Looks down as well realizing what Raku is talking about now and stands walking up to him and hugs him).  I-I’m… Sorry… Please don’t be mad at me….

Raku: (Smiles and chuckles a little bit).  I don’t think I could… I’m thankful you were doing it for me… But I’m more upset at myself for not realizing for whom you shine the brightest with… I’m the one that should be saying sorry… All that I could ask for now is that I’m still a friend that you can ramble too as much as you want.

Ziona: (Looks at Raku and starts to tear up but smiles at him).  Thank you… I’m sorry I couldn’t give you my heart… But I will still always be there for you to talk to… That will never change… And I know that you will find someone who can give you their heart in return… I know it… I’m just sorry it couldn’t be me.

Raku: It’s fine… I’m just sorry I forced you into this… And thank you Ziona… And I may have already found the person… I don’t think realized it.

Ziona: It’s fine… I know you didn’t mean it… And what do you mean you found that person?  (Gives a confused and curious expression).

Raku: That I cannot tell you… You will find out later but for now go find Zahir… Like how your heart is telling you to.

Ziona: (Begins to blush and become flustered).  I-I… Alright I mean… But at least have something to eat first… Here you can take the basket with you and bring it to whoever you have in your heart… I-I just hope to see you around.

Raku: (Takes the basket and starts to leave after he gives Ziona a kiss on the cheek).  You will Ziona.

Ziona: (Nods and smiles at Raku with a slight blush as she waves to him farewell.  She then goes on her way Zahir’s house wanting to spend time with him having a happy feeling come over her).

While Raku is leaving the park he thinks back to when he was at Nara’s house that day, she asked him to leave.  At first thought he felt joy to know that he was going to talk to Nara which was not new to him or the fact that he only really saw that one side of Nara being the upfront face that she puts up.  He does not say anything knowing she has her reasons though he does know at least not to get her angry for he might not be able to walk for a while.  When she was going to tell him something that day, he wonders what was she going to say as he thinks to himself.

Raku:  What was she going to say maybe… That maybe likes me or that she had found love as well? 

 

Raku continues thinking but then he realizes after he told Nara that he was going out with Ziona she was much sadder which he does not see that often.  Now he thinks he may understand why.  It is because those cookies were for him and that she wanted to spill out her heart to him, but he was too much of an idiot to realize it.  As soon as he realizes this, he starts to head towards Nara’s house with the basket that he got from Ziona.

Raku:  I need to tell her some things that she has wanted to hear for a long time now.

 

Nara is still in her house it being darker than normal having closed the curtains.  She picks up Raku’s snakes he had been leaving when trying to reach her, but she does not feel like she could handle putting up a strong face like she normally does so stays inside… Trying to calm her emotions so she can face him again.  She sits on her couch with knees to her chest staring at one of the snacks in her hands sadly. 

Nara: W-why… Can’t I… Move past this….

Raku: (He arrives at Nara’s door, and he hears Nara talking to herself but having to listen closely to hear).

Nara: Why can’t I be happy for him… It’s stupid… I’m stupid for thinking we could be more than friends… Stupid for feeling this way… And an idiot for thinking he felt that way…. And feeling that way myself.

Raku: (Upon hearing Nara he knocks on the door knowing he shouldn’t right now, but he feels like he needs to).  … Nara… It’s me Raku… I think… I think… I finally got something figured out.

Nara: (Is surprised as she lifts her head hearing Raku but says nothing, not able to speak to him.  Not able to face him and keep a strong face yet).

Raku: (Continues knocking).  Nara… I know you’re in there… And that you can hear me right now.

Nara: (Looks at the door and starts to tear up but hides it in her voice).  Raku… I just… Need some time… To myself, I’m sorry….

Raku: Well than at least… Listen to me for a little bit alright?

Nara: … I’m listening….

Raku: (Sighs as he leans back against the door falling to sit on the floor).  Well first off… Let me say I’m not with Ziona anymore… I should have figured it wouldn’t last long nor should I have expected the feelings to be mutual at all… All I did was force my feelings onto her and she just went along with it because she didn’t want to make me sad…  That’s just how Ziona is but there was another reason… She shined brighter when she was with Zahir and not with me… Though I know it sounds sad… I feel kind of glad… Because whenever I was with her, I wasn’t fully there… But when I’m with you… I feel… I feel… I’m not sure how I feel.  All I know is that… I’m an idiot for not realizing what you were trying to say… And how much effort you put into making those cookies… I really wanted to try one and I still want too now… And before you think you’re a rebound… You’re not… When I left your house telling me to leave you alone… I felt like I should just run back to you and hugged you… And I still want too now… How were the snacks I left…? I made sure to get some to you every day… And don’t worry about your angry side… You’re still the same Nara to me… Doesn’t change who you are or anything else… You’re still the same girl that I truly feel a close connection with… The one I will always accept with a smile… The one I fell in love with so long ago without knowing it… You don’t need to open the door… But thanks for letting… Me tell you… Everything I can… No… I need to say to you Nara… I’m sorry I’m an idiot… But… I know for a fact now… I always believed in following a path set for me… But right now, I feel like making my own… But with you by my side.  (He hears silence for a moment but then the door unlocks and open as he feels hands reach around to hug behind him and hold him hesitantly at first but then holds him close).

Nara: You… You’re an idiot… But I still can’t help how I feel… But I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you sooner… I’m not good at this stuff… Not good at opening up to others… And sorry I can’t give you the cookies… I threw them out when you left… Their still there I guess… But I’m not making any more for you… I used up all my ingredients….

Raku: (Is surprised by the hug at first but then holds her arms).  Don’t worry… I can get more… But you did good to me so far… So, its progress.

Nara: (Nods hiding her face on Raku’s back and holding him tightly as if he can feel her crying).  W-why is it that when I’m with you… It’s hard to keep my emotions away… I just feel like a mess with so many thoughts… And it’s hard to hide… Why… Does my head feel so confused?

Raku: (Laughs a little bit).  Well, I’m an idiot… So, we both have our problems but I’m still here with you… And it’s not that bad to share emotions with me.  Only if you want and are ready to so don’t be upset.

Nara: I guess… We can try this out… But promise things won’t get awkward… we can do what we normally do… And make it… A date… It’s funny… That’s weird to say… I didn’t expect you to return how I felt….  (Laughs a little wiping her eyes on the back of his shirt as she lifts her head from it).

Raku: I think we were planning on doing that anyway because… I’m happy just to be with you and next too you now… So, I promise… And neither did I Nara.

Nara: … If you would like to come in now… You could… Sorry if the kitchen is still a mess but maybe we can just hang out like we usually do… B-but don’t expect me to cook for you again.

Raku: (Smiles as he looks back at Nara).  Well, it’s good that I have this basket for lunch… So yeah, let’s head inside now… So, we can talk about everything alright?

Nara: I would like that….  (Nods and stands then offers her hand for Raku to stand as well but has a slight blush though tries to hide it).

Raku: (He takes her hand and walks into the house with Nara so they can begin their relationship).

 

Some time passes and Raku and Nara’s relationship grows steadily though Raku still feels like Nara is hiding something from.  He is not sure if he should confront her or not so decides he will find out in her own time when she is ready.  It is an early morning as Hana has stopped by Nara’s house to talk with her before work starts.

Hana: (Is having a good talk and laugh joking around a little but then get a thought about Raku and Nara the talk takes a more serious turn).  So, Nara… Have you showed Raku how you really look?  He stayed with you this long she I doubt he will turn you away at this point.

Nara: (Sighs and looks down).  I-I don’t think I want him to know… so many have rejected me because of it… That I don’t think I can.

Hana: One day he will find out… Nara he’s a good guy I’m sure he won’t turn you away.  He cares to much about you.

Nara: I know…but still… I’ll think about it… But I’m not ready yet.

Hana: Well, I guess that’s enough for now, but I have to get going so see you later.  (Hugs Nara and begins to leave).

Nara: Bye Hana take care at the flower shop.  (Waves to Hana as she leaves and then frowns thinking of all of the times she was picked on and shunned as she stares at her legs.  They turn into a snake’s lower half for a moment then back to human legs and sighs fixing the seal to hide it again).  I’m won’t let him know… I don’t want him to leave to….

 

Later on, Nara has her date with Raku that has come to an end having a fun time like normally.  They laugh and joke around with Raku in the doorway as they say their farewells for the day.

Nara: Bye Raku, I had a nice time oh and your cooking is the best.  You should lose bets more often, so I don’t ever burn our food again.  (Laughs and blushes slightly as she smiles at Raku punching him in the shoulder jokingly as she normally does).

Raku: Ney I’m not going to try to lose… Not my fault I can’t keep a good card face and it wasn’t that bad.

Nara: Well, you’re getting better though it’s just hard to fool me, I guess.  I’m sorry but you do cook really well so I’m thankful.  (Laughs and smiles at Raku).

Raku: I think even if I won, I would be cooking still.

Nara: W-well.  (Blushes as she takes step closer to Raku with a blush as she hesitantly gives Raku a quick peck on the lips and blushes more).  T-That’s my thank you for doing so….

Raku: (Is surprised at first but also smiles hugely).  Well… Well, that was something now wasn’t it… You should thank me more often.

Nara: … Quiet I-I felt like doing that… And I think it was a good way to end this date.  (Tries to act casual but she blushes with a slight smile).

Raku: True it was.  (He then kisses Nara suddenly).  Now it’s payback and now it ends on a great note.

Nara: (Is surprised as well but then has a big smile).  I think so… goodnight, Raku… I look forward to doing this again.

Raku: Goodnight Nara… And don’t worry I’ll come by and get you tomorrow for a date out.

Nara: I look forward to it.  (Hugs Raku then closes the door with a big smile.  She goes to get ready for ending the day and cleaning up.  While she does this she is in a great mood from her time with Raku).

Raku: (Looks around his pockets and realized that he forgot his special gift for Nara and to give it to her, so he heads back to her house not wanting to wait).

Nara: (Is in the living room deciding to relax so she changes her legs to the bottom half of a dark purple snake as she is on the couch and looks down at herself feeling the scales).  Hmm the scales are getting a little rough.  I need to smooth them out I guess….  (Sighs as she grabs a bottle of lotion and starts rubbing the lotion on her tail and lower half and sighs and relaxes).  Good, haven’t been able to stretch out in a while.

Raku: (Walks into the house since the door wasn’t locked weirdly thinking she must have forgotten to do so).  Hey Nara, I need to show you someth-… Wait what?  (He stops in his tracks as he sees Nara).

Nara: (Freezes what she is doing dropping the lotion while looking at Raku.  Her eyes widen in fear and almost terror and that is showing clearly on her face).

Raku: (Looks at the lower half of Nara).  A… A snake… Tail…?

Nara: (Still looks very scared and on instinct wants to run as she panics running into her bedroom to hide.  While doing so accidently her tail slams into Raku making him hit the wall and fall.  She doesn’t notice this being to panicked as she hides in her bedroom).

Raku: (when he is hit with the tail, he goes into the wall with the impact knocking him out).

Nara: (In her head thinks “no… I don’t want him to leave too… I was just starting to be happy… I don’t want that to end… I don’t want him to shun me”.  Many things similar to that go through her head, her deepest fears).

Raku: (Is unconscious from the blow to his head for a few moments).

Nara: (Stays in her room still panicking not knowing how much time is passing as she curls up by the door her tail wrapped around her and her hands covering her face).  No… Please… He can’t turn me away to….

Raku: (Is starting to wake up a bit more and recovering the blow).  Oww my head.  (Looks for the gift and checks to make sure that it is safe, and it is thankfully).  Oh, right got to get to Nara.

Nara: (Still is in her bedroom sitting against the door hiding and panicking in her own fears).

Raku: (Panics to find Nara around the house).  Nara!  Nara where are you!

Nara: (As Raku searches she is not sure if she should answer being too scared to.  Despite her fear she calls out to him without her knowing she had).  … Raku….

Raku: (Listens to Nara and realizes where she is and finds out where quickly).  Nara are you alright!

Nara: (Curls up more as she hides her face as she becomes teary eyed).  Raku… If you’re going to leave… Then just leave… Don’t make it harder for me… And leave and shun me like others have….  (Starts to lose control of her emotions as she says this in a shaky voice).

Raku: (Is confused from what she is saying).  What do you mean…?  Me leaving…?  I’m not going anywhere.

Nara: Raku… Y-you saw me… So why wouldn’t you leave…?  It’s why I hide so much… Why I hide how I look… I don’t want to be shunned again… Raku please….  (Starts to cry as she remembers the times in the past where she learned to hide and put on a strong face).

Raku: (Smiles as he gets on his knees).  Of course, not… I’m not going anywhere.

Nara: (there is a long pause before she opens the door more.  Raku sees that her tail was the thing opening the door with her hands in her lap as she looks down still, still looking very scared).

Raku: (Slowly puts his hands on Nara’s shoulders).  It’s fine Nara.  Why would I hurt the girl I care about the most?  (He smiles at Nara as he wipes some tears away).

Nara: (Looks up at Raku still being a little scared but it is getting better than before).  T-then… You don’t mind… That I look this way?  (As she says this, she is directing to her lower snake half).

Raku: No, I don’t mind at all… True at first it was scary… But I then realized who was on the first half and it was your pretty face.

Nara: (Begins to blush but not liking that it was scary for him making her look down a little).  I-I’m sorry I scared you… Your head… It’s bleeding, are you alright?  (Looks at Raku with concern as she touches his head genteelly becoming worried, trying to remember when he got hurt).

Raku: (Sighs as he rubs his head).  I think I will be fine now since I slept the pain away, but I still need to give you something.

Nara: (Looks at Raku still concerned but also curious).  What is it, Raku?

Raku: (Smiles sheepishly).  It’s something that could be nice or very bad depending on how you take it.

Nara: (Looks even more confused at Raku).  Well, what is it?  Don’t leave it like that, you must tell me now.

Raku: (Brings out a ring for Nara that is light purple with lines through it also being white).  It’s not the type of ring you think it is… It’s a ring to show that I always like you no matter what you look like.  If anyone has a problem with it, I don’t care.  All I care about is you.

Nara: (Immediately blushes heavily seeing the ring and becomes very embarrassed and flustered).  R-Raku… I-I don’t think I’m ready for that… I-I mean I don’t want to get married at all… I-I mean umm this is so sudden, and I promised myself I never would… Don’t get me wrong I couldn’t be happier with you… B-but I’m not ready at all for that….

Raku: (Sighs as he knocks her over the head lightly to stop thinking like that).  I’m not proposing you idiot… It’s your birthday present….

Nara: My… Birthday….  (Had completely forgotten about her birthday and looks very surprised.  She then looks at Raku and the ring and smiles taking the ring in the box in her hands.  Looking down at it she starts to smile as some tears fall).  Thank you… Thank you so much Raku… For everything.

Raku: (Smiles hugely as he kisses her again).  Anything for you Nara… And I’m not leaving you anytime soon.

Nara: (Her forehead meets Raku’s there with lips inches apart.  Her tail wrap around him to bring him closer as she enjoys the moment feeling truly happy).

Raku: Well, someone is really happy now aren’t they… I’m glad that you are… It’s not good to see you with a sad face.

Nara: Before this… I was only accepted by Hana like this… Everyone else was either grossed out by it or just shunned me thinking I was a freak… A monster… So, I hid it… That’s why I try to be strong… So, I won’t get hurt again… That’s why I was so afraid… For you to find out what I really looked like….

Raku: (pets Nara’s head as he pulls it to his chest) well you can add me to that list… I thinks it’s cool weird at first but pretty cool… and I won’t hurt you ever again… I promise… I will only try to keep you smiling… because I like you Nara.

Nara: (Smiles and her grip with the tail tightens a little on Raku to hold him close as well.  She places her hand on his chest as she rests her head there).  Thank you, Raku… You don’t know how much this means… At first when I was picked on as a kid, I didn’t understand… We’re spirits so we all have different kinds of abilities… So, I learned to hide… Maybe… With you here… I won’t have to hide anymore… We’re all nature spirits… We all have different abilities… So, what if mine stands out a little more… Sorry Raku… I haven’t opened up like that… In a long time.  (Snuggles into Raku’s chest and wipes some of her tears there).

Raku: (Kisses Nara’s head).  And you won’t need to hide anymore because you’re beautiful in any form no matter what.

Nara: (Looks up at Raku and wraps her arms around his neck with a smile).  Thank you, Raku… Also… I have never asked but always wondered what your abilities are… I know you’re a poison spirit like me, but I never found out anything else hmm.  (Tries to think what Raku’s abilities are trying to think what ability fits Raku as she smiles up at him and laughs a little).

Raku: Oh, I haven’t?  I swear I mentioned it to you before… Hmm… In a simple way of saying it… I can make an exoskeleton around my body as a type of armor, or I can modify to work like weapons.  I’m an insect type.

Nara: (Looks interested and thinks the power sounds cool).  Oh, I get it like a insect armor.  That’s pretty cool and sounds like it could be useful.  (Looks at Raku’s arm feeling his skin that’s normal now as she sits in his hold on his lap and smiles with a small blush at how close she is to him).

Raku: Pretty much like an insect, it’s just that I can morph it around… I can show you if you want… And I like you being close to me like this too.

Nara: … And I like it to… Your nice and warm… It’s nice… Since I never liked the cold… So, it makes it more comforting… And you can show me if you want to, but you don’t have to.

Raku: No, I think it would be fair now… Hang on.  (Focuses for a second for his skin to change properties to a dark exoskeleton to only cover one of his arms).

Nara: (Looks at Raku’s arm her hand gliding across it to feel it).  It really is interesting.  I like it though, so I have no problem with it… Y-your still just as handsome.  (Blushes a lot as she compliments Raku trying not to feel too embarrassed from it).

Raku: Thank you… And you’re just as beautiful.

Nara: (Looks up at Raku and still blushes as her feeling take over her words a bit).  Raku… Could you spend the night with me…?

Raku: (Blushes heavily from the offer).  Umm… If… If you are sure….

Nara: (Blushes and holds Raku close with her tail wrapping around him more).  I-I’m sure… Only if you want to, I mean… I-I’m sorry.

Raku: U-um if you’re alright with me… I guess I can do it.

Nara: (Continues to hold Raku as she blushes).  I’m always alright with you Raku… Because you accepted me… And because of that I care for you deeply….  (Snuggles into Raku’s arms).

Raku: (Sighs as he cuddles up to her).  What am I going to do with you?  (Laughs a little bit).

Nara: (Laughs as well).  Well, I guess you will just have to put up with me.  (Looks up at Raku and kisses his cheek as she smiles up at him.  She then blushes looking down).  And I guess this will be the first time you stay over… I wonder what it will be like having you here all night….

Raku: I’m pretty sure that we will just be the same as always just it would be longer.

Nara: Longer for what… Oh and I umm only have one bed… I-I umm I’m sure it can fit us both… (Blushes more realizing how what she was asking could be taken as).

Raku: (Realizing of what he said he blushes even more than Nara).  Oh… Umm… Yeah if anything… I’ll go to the couch to sleep.

Nara: Oh… Alright if you wish too….  (Seems a little disappointed at the fact that Raku not being with her to sleep as the idea grows on her).  You don’t have to sleep on the couch… I’m sure we can sleep together… I-I think it would be nice to have someone warm to hold onto…

Raku: (Sighs as he rubs Nara’s head).  Yes, we can sleep together if you want to Nara, no problems there.

Nara: (Smiles but then gets an idea and smirks as she teases Raku leaning onto him more with her lips inches from his).  Or did you think I meant something different when asking you to spend the night with me?

Raku: (Blushes even more heavily).  N-no… Nothing like that… Sort of stuff.

Nara: (Gets closer whispering in his ear).  Are you sure hmm?  I never imagined you had a perverted side to you.  (Pulls away and laughs having fun teasing Raku).

Raku: Well… I never expected you to be… So, teasing… Then again that’s how you are.

Nara: You should expect that from me by now.  (Laughs more and then calms down looking away a little with a small smile being serious).  But Raku… You accepted me… So, when you are ready for that type of thing… I am ready to… Because I couldn’t think of a better person to do that with… Then the one I care deeply for.

Raku: (Smiles as he holds Nara as her tail begins to let him go).  I will and when we do that type of thing, we will do all we can to make that moment memorable.

Nara: (Smiles and holds Raku tightly).  Good and I will be ready for it… Whenever you want to… I’m ready….  (Snuggles into Raku’s hold with a small laugh).  But sorry if it turns out I am a little wild….

Raku: … I’m not that surprised that you would be… But let’s go get some sleep.

Nara: Of course, I guess it is getting late.  (Nods and stands helping Raku up with the end of her tail wrapped around Raku’s waist.  She leads him into her room being simple purple room but with a large bed probably because of the snake part of her being so long).  I think there should be enough room.

Raku: (Smiles as he heads onto the bed).  Well, I guess we will find out now won’t we?  (The bed is very soft as he climbs onto the bed).

Nara: I-I guess so.  (Pauses seeing Raku on her bed and blushes a little at the fact and how handsome he looks not sure why she’s thinking like this.  She can’t stop staring at him and processing the situation of actually sleeping beside him).

Raku: (Taps on the bed for Nara to snap out of it).  Well, are you coming here or not Nara!  (He smiles at Nara).

Nara: (Nods and comes over climbing onto the bed laying beside him on her side facing him.  At first, she feels a little awkward then more comfortable with it after a few moments pass).  I hope it’s ok….

Raku: (Questions what Nara had said as he begins to feel a bit awkward as well).  What is?

Nara: N-nothing, I mean just sleeping like this… Why were you thinking something perverted again?  (Gets a teaseful smile and she poses a little as she lays beside him).

Raku: But… I think… I’m not the only that… W-was thinking like that now, was I?

Nara: (Pouts and blushes faintly but then smirks as she enjoys teasing Raku a little bit).  I’ll admit that… You are quite handsome so how couldn’t I think like that when I have such a handsome man laying on my bed… But you saying I’m not the only one means that you admit you were thinking like that so thank you so answering me.  (Giggles a little).

Raku: (Blushes as he pokes her sides).  Why wouldn’t I since I have such… A-a beautiful girl right in front of me… That likes me and I like her… So, can you blame me?

Nara: (Blushes and smiles jolting back a little from the poke).  Why thank you Raku… it means a lot and don’t poke me like that it tickles. (Pouts at Raku).

Raku: (Pokes Nara again with a little bit of laughter).  You mean like this!

Nara: (Tries to push Raku and hold back laughter and tries to pout but is hard to as she laughs).  No, you’re so mean!

Raku: (Just lies next to her as he begins to tickle her).

Nara: (Laughs more as her tail wraps around Raku from his legs to his waist as she tries to tickle Raku back).  Two can play at that game then!

Raku: (Smirks as he kisses Nara).  Then I’ll just change the game!

Nara: (Is taken by surprise at first but then kisses Raku back wrapping her arms around his neck and smirking a little as well).  And what game will that be?

Raku: Trying to sleep in this position.

Nara: (Looks down at her lower half that has Raku wrapped up and laughs and blushes).  Oops sorry… I guess it has a mind of its own.  I can let go if you like.  (Her tail starts to loosen on Raku a little).

Raku: No, no I like being close to you like this but I do feel a bit tired so I may rest… Want to cuddle up Nara?  (Smiles warmly at Nara).

Nara: (Smiles at Raku and then holds him close in a hug before they rest but being higher up making Raku head go into her chest.  She does not really care at the moment wanting him as close as possible).  That sounds good but first… Thank you… For everything Raku… Thank you.

Raku: (Smiles as he just rests his head).  You have nothing thank me for.  All I did was do what I normally do and that is care about you deeply Nara.

Nara: (Smiles and kisses Raku’s head).  And that is why I thank you… Because you accepting me means more than you could possibly imagine… And I look forward to the day I can make you fully mine.  (Moves to get a little more comfortable as she holds Raku and her tail wraps around him like a blanket.  The scales feel very smooth as she snuggles up to him).

Raku: I think you already did but I’m ok with that… But you do feel nice and warm.

Nara: Not fully yet… And you feel warm to….  (Her eyes slowly close as she starts to drift off into sleep with a smile on her face).

Raku: Well I’m yours now so have sweet dreams even though… Right now, feels like a dream and I don’t want to wake up… Goodnight.  (Drifts off to sleep as well).

The flashback ends and Nara is still on the branch as she smiles at Raku lovingly. 

Nara: (Hops off the tree heading over to Raku.  She holds him from behind with a smile and a kiss on the cheek).  Hello, my darling, I’m sorry if I scared you.  I promise I will make it up to you later.

Raku: (Sighs).  You may want to warn me of when you give me a near death experience next time alright?

Nara: I’m sorry… But I still have a bit of energy in me so I was thinking we could spar now.

Raku: (Sighs as he kisses Nara knowing well that is not what she means by sparring).  We will later, let me rest some more then we can.

Nara: Alright, sounds good.

Jennifer: Shall we go back inside then?

Kairi: Ooh I wonder if Ziona is feeling better and how Luka and Lulu are doing.

Yami: It was a cool fight to.

Zahir: She should be feeling better now.  She was watching the fight as well from the window with the kids when I went check up on her.

Tori: (As he walks over).  Well, that’s good to hear.

Hiki: (Comes over with Chazz leaning on her since he still feels a bit weak).

Kairi: I’m glad!  (Skips over to Tori to stand beside him with a big smile).  Hi Tori, you did great, and I am glad no one got hurt.

Tori: Yeah, me too, would be bad if someone was.

Nara: My poison didn’t take too much out of you hopefully.  It is quite strong.

Shizen: I have herbs that will help if so, so there is no need to worry.

Hiki: No, the poison is gone.  It’s just the energy he needs to recover so he is a bit tired from all the fighting

Shizen: Very well, you can relax on the couch for a bit and that should help.

Jennifer: (Talks to Zahir).  Maybe if it’s alright with you and Ziona we could visit with her upstairs.  Even have lunch up there so she has some company.

Zahir: I’m sure she would be fine with it.  I’ll talk to her when I check on her in a bit.

Chazz: (He smiles).  Yes, that does sound very nice.

Kura: Will get lunch ready then if you do not mind me using things from your garden to cook.

Jennifer: I can help get the ingredients you need then if you like.

Kura: Yes, thank you for the help.  (Opens the door for everyone).

Hiki: (Helps guide Chazz to the couch so he sits).  I’ll help take care of you master!

Chazz: (Smiles more nervously).  I just need to lay down for a bit Hiki, no need to worry….

Hiki: (Says with a stubborn smile).  No, not allowed!  You take care of all of us so it’s my turn taking care of you now!

Jennifer: (Smiles and blushes looking away a little as she does).  Well, if it helps, I could make you some tea… If I use the right herbs, it should help a lot.

Chazz: (Smiles at Jennifer).  Thank you, Jennifer, I would like that very much as it would help me relax.

Jennifer: (Smiles more at Chazz with her mood seeming to list).  Great, I am happy I can help too.

Yami: (Is the last one to go inside and closes the door put Nara being the one entering the house right before him had not gotten the end on her tail in yet and the door slams on it).

Nara: (Freezes with her body tensed up from the sharp pain with the look of pain on her face unable to say anything or yell out yet from it since her body is in shock).

Raku: (Realizes this quickly and then opens the door for Nara and takes her outside).

Nara: (As she is rushed outside, she then lets out a yell in pain as she grabs the end of her tail).

Yami: (Looks confused to what happened at the moment not realizing her tail was in the door).

Kura: (Sighs looking over from the kitchen as she says to herself).  He’s my idiot brother.

Hiki: (Laughs a little bit).  Well hopefully she doesn’t want another fight again with Yami.  Would be bad if she did.

Yami: (Scratches his head and shrugs cluelessly).  What did I do?

Kura: You slammed her tail in the door and it sounded very painful.

Nara: (Is heard yelling from the outside).  I am going to kill him!

Yami: … Well, it’s not like I did it on purpose.

Tori: I don’t think that matters to her though….

Raku: I’ll handle her hang on!  (Is heard from the outside while trying to calm Nara down).

Yami: Well, if she wants to fight about it bring it, I don’t care.  (All the sudden a dagger goes through the door that’s opened a little and goes straight for Yami who barely dodges it.  The dagger hits the wall inches away from his head as he looks surprised then angry).  Hey watch it!

Nara: Shit, I missed!

Yami: Hey not cool, I’ll throw one back!

Kura: (Sighs and face palms).  He’s not helping here.

Raku: Sorry!

Tori: You may want to find some place to hide for now if you feel like living Yami.

Yami: … Fine whatever.  (Runs upstairs to hide as soon as it is suggesting getting a sense of he is in danger).

Kura: I guess that works but honestly, he’s always getting into trouble.

Kairi: I don’t think he means to though.

Hiki: He probably doesn’t but he has terrible luck with these things.

Ziona: (All of the sudden everyone hears her scream a little in surprise).  Eek!

Kura: (Sighs once again).  What did he do now?

Shizen: (Looks up the stair way as she heads over to it curiously).

Zahir: (Heads up stairs as well followed by Tori in a rushed manner).

Yami: (Is staring blankly in the doorway of Zahir and Ziona’s room with the door open not sure why Ziona screamed).

Ziona: (At the moment Yami walked in on her she was feeding Luka and Lulu, but they covered the main part of her chest but that’s all.  When she noticed Yami open the door she blushes heavily not able to grab the blanket since she is holding the twins).

Zahir: (Realizes what is happening he taps Yami’s shoulder as he closes the door to his and Ziona’s room).  Yami… Yami… Yami… Yami… May I ask why you were staring so much?  (An evil aura begins to form around him).

Yami: (Looks back at Zahir and then gets nervous with a nervous laugh seeing the angry look).  I umm was wondering what she was doing with the babies… I umm… Guess those things have milk in them… I guess that explains a lot.

Kura: (Sighs and shakes her head).  Honestly how many people will you anger today Yami.

Yami: Not like meant to!

Zahir: Now… Now… Yami… You have a choice… Deal with Nara… Or deal with me….  (His three tails come out from behind him and point at Yami).

Yami: Oh, come on what’s the big idea not like I haven’t seen that type of stuff before!  It’s no big deal!  Everyone makes it a big deal they’re just things on girls’ chests for some reason… That apparently have milk in them… Weird.

Shizen: (Sighs while shaking her head in slight amusement).  Well, I guess he is not close to hitting puberty yet.

Zahir: No… No… He is not… And… Yami… Those “things” are… Private to girls and the person they love… So, since you intruded… You will want to leave…Now.

Yami: (Backs up nervously to get away).  Fine I’ll just leave or hide or… Something…. (Runs away back downstairs as fast as he had went up there).

Kairi: (Heads upstairs curiously being concerned wanting to know what happened).  Is everything alright…?

Shizen: Yes, just a misunderstanding between Zahir and Yami.

Yami: (Yells back now being downstairs).  I didn’t mean to!

Kura: You should know to knock by now Yami!  (Hits Yami over the head).

Yami: Hey quit it!

Zahir: I’m going to head out for a bit to clear my head… I’ll be back in a bit….

Shizen: Very well, I think I can fix the problem for the future though if you don’t mind me going in there.  Kairi could you bring me a baby blanket from the nursery?

Kairi: (Smiles and nods zooming in and out of the nursery to get the blanket and holds it out to Shizen).

Shizen: (Takes the blanket and smiles back to her).  Thank you, Kairi, oh and Tori you should probably leave as well.  You don’t want to upset Zahir anymore then he already is.

Tori: Yeah, I figured, I will go tell what happened to everyone downstairs and hopefully Raku got Nara to calm down for now.

Shizen: Yes, why not go check on them then.

Kairi: I will go with you too if that is alright.

Tori: Sure, I don’t see why not

Kairi: (Walks down the stairs with Tori as she smiles up at him brightly).  Yay!

Shizen: Very good then.  (Smiles at Tori and Kairi and then heads into Ziona’s room with the blanket).

Kairi: (Makes it downstairs with Tori and looks around.  It seems quiet with Yami pouting grumpily and Chazz had fallen asleep with Hiki beside him and Jennifer and Kura working in the kitchen).  Hi everyone, we are going to check on Nara if she’s alright oh Hiki do you want to come with us?  (Smiles brightly at Hiki as she holds Tori’s arm to head outside).

Jennifer: (Sees Kairi clinging to Tori but sighs and tries to let it go for now).

Hiki: Hmm maybe not, I want to stay near master for a bit more if that is alright.  (Pets Chazz’s head a bit as he sleeps)

Tori: Sounds fine to me, why am I not surprised that you would want to do that?

Hiki: (Sticks her tongue out at Tori as he does the same to her).

Kairi: (Giggles at both Hiki and Tori).  It is alright, you can stay here Hiki have fun.  Make sure my sis gets a turn sitting by him too or else she might get upset.  (Starts to head outside with Tori).

Jennifer: (Blushes at her comment).  N-no really, I am fine.  I don’t mind at all; I am just glad he is relaxing since he works so hard.

Hiki: No, no she’s right.  You can have his head rest on your lap like he was on mine.

Jennifer: I-I guess.  (Brings over tea and sits on Chazz’s other side looking down as she blushes.  She then looks at his face as he sleeps smiling at how sweet he looks at the moment).  You know… He looks really sweet like this… Very relaxed and peaceful….  (Pets Chazz’s head and smiles).

Hiki: (Whispers to Jennifer).  No kissing just yet Jenny, or are you that bold to do it again?

Jennifer: (Blushes heavily and backs away a little from where she is sitting).  N-no I did not mean it like that, and I will not I promise!

Hiki: (Smiles a bit teasefully).  Well, I could since he’s adorable right now so maybe….  (She kisses Chazz’s cheek).  There we go.

Jennifer: (Blushes more but smiles and sighs).  Well, I guess that is alright but I do not think I should I-I mean maybe later… Oh and umm Hiki… I had a question about something earlier during breakfast.

Hiki: What is it, Jenny?  (Looks at Jennifer with a confused look as she sits on the other side of the couch next to her).

Jennifer: Well… When Shizen was talking about what animal you would be and that yours is caring for the family you hold dear… And the love you hold for them no matter what happens… Wanting to stay close to each other for as long as you can… You looked kind of sad and cried a little… Could you tell me why you looked so sad…? You do not have to tell me, but did something happen?  (Looks at Hiki with a concerned look).

Hiki: (Looks normal at first but then she looks down a bit before she looks back up with her normal look).  I’ll… I’ll tell you later Jenny but… Just know that when my family didn’t think to highly of me and wasn’t around that much….

Jennifer: (Looks at Hiki with concern still but nods with understanding).  Very well… And if it counts… I think highly of you… And in some ways, I look up to you… Your very strong and you try to protect us all and smile whenever you can just to brighten everyone else’s mood even if you are sad yourself… I admire that… It is something I don’t think I could do.  (Hugs Hiki to comfort her).

Hiki: (Accepts the hug as she just lays her head on Jennifer’s shoulder).

Jennifer: (Continues to comfort Hiki and pets her head with a smile and staying there until Hiki feels better).  It is alright, we are all here and when you cannot smile or feel sad about something we will all be there to cheer you up any way possible and… If your family did not notice you, they must have been blind not to see someone as bright as you… And that is not just because you are a light spirit… It is just because of who you are.

Hiki: Thank you… And I know I can depend on everyone… It’s just a long story… I think Shizen might know if you want to ask her later, but it had something to do with my hair and other things.

Jennifer: Well, I think your hair is awesome if that counts and I think Kairi thinks that as well.  I can ask Shizen later if you want me to… But right now, I am here to comfort you.  If you need anything just ask, I am here.  (Smiles at Hiki).

Hiki: (She laughs a little, but Jennifer can still tell there is some sadness in her voice.  She decides to leave it at that for now).  Be careful, we might make master jealous with the moment we are having.

Jennifer (Smiles at Hiki hearing the slight sadness so not really blushing too much from the comment like she normally would).  Well, it was a good moment though so I think he would be fine with it.

 

Meanwhile back outside right when Raku had led Nara away to help calm her down.

Nara: (As she is dragged away from the house, she throws a knife at Yami looking very angry from the pain in her tail).  Shit, I missed him!

Raku: (Takes Nara away from the house).  Yes, need to calm down now my dear.

Nara: It was his fault, ow my poor tail!  (Holds her tail the end of it being a little crooked from the door as she tries to calm the pain in it while pouting a little).

Raku: (Kisses Nara’s tail).  There is the pain gone now… Or do you wish for me to do it again,

Nara: (Looks at Raku carefully with a slight blush but continues to pout).  Raku, you know that area is sensitive don’t tease me… But maybe it did feel a little better….

Raku: (Smiles as he kisses Nara a little bit).  Well, you showed me how to calm you down when you get angry so I’m just doing what you taught me.

Nara: Raku….  (Kisses Raku back and wraps her arms around his neck).  But if you plan on being such a tease, we might not want to do this in such an open area.

Raku: Well, there’s a forest now isn’t there…?  We can get to the main act back at home.

Nara: (Smirks a little as she brings her face close to Raku with their lips inches apart).  Ooh I like how you think.

 

After a little bit and lunch is about to be ready Kairi and Tori go out to find Nara and Raku wondering where they had gone.

Kairi: (Heard not too far away from where Raku and Nara had wondered too now).  Raku, Nara!  … Where did you go?

Nara: Crap.  (Looks surprised and throws Raku’s shirt at him as she fixes her shirt and hair as quickly as she can).  You get dressed I’ll distract her while you do that.

Raku: (Begins to fix his clothes as he rushes as well).

Tori: (Walks with Kairi thinking he had heard some whispers).  Hey, you guys it’s almost time to eat.

Nara: (Stands up and walks to meet them after making a few fixes to her hair and clothes but they still are little messed up as she walks to great both Kairi and Tori with a smile).  Oh hello, sorry about that we will be right there.

Kairi: What were you two doing?  We couldn’t find you.

Nara: Oh, umm we were just sparring is all.

Tori: Sparring huh…?  (Notices that Nara’s hair is still kind of messed up).  Just be back in time to eat alright… Don’t enjoy it too much now.

Nara: Right, we will be right there, sorry about that and tell Yami I forgive him.

Kairi: (Smiles at Nara).  Great I’m glad Raku could calm you down then.

Nara: (Laughs a little).  Yes… He’s good at that….

Tori: I guess he can and at least everyone is calm for now.  We don’t need another huge battle now.

Nara: Right though that was a fun battle.

Kairi: I guess so, but Raku where are you?  Are you here too?  (Starts to look for Raku a little).

Nara: (Panics a little not sure if Raku is descent yet).

Raku: (Comes up behind Nara looking the same when he had left).  Yeah, I’m here, anything you need me for?

Tori: No, no we should be fine.

Kairi: Hi Raku we just wanted to let you know that lunch is in a little bit.

Nara: Well, let’s get going then.  (Whispers to Raku as they start to walk back).  Nice recovery.

Raku: True I am kind of hungry right now after that spar we had.

Tori: (Realizes what he means and laughs a little bit).

Nara: (Laughs and says more quietly).  Yes, but I think we both won that one.

Kairi: (Just gives a confused look to what they are talking about).

 

Kura is finishing up lunch and pouring the stew she had heated up into bowls for everyone seeing Zahir come back from getting some fresh air so he would not kill Yami.

Kura: Lunch is ready.  Are we eating upstairs then?  I understand if you don’t want Yami to go back up there, honestly, he gets into trouble so much.  He needs to use his head more though he still does not think of girls that way… Hmm maybe I broke him by taking baths with him so much.  (Thinks this more to herself not realizing she said it out loud for Zahir to hear as she thinks of reasons why).

Zahir: No, it’s alright now, I’ll just make sure that the door is locked whenever I’m not up there to avoid these type moments again.

Kura: Very well but I will take responsibility for anymore trouble my little brother causes.  (Calls over to Jennifer, Chazz and Hiki on the couch).  It’s time for Lunch!

Jennifer: Oh great, I was getting hungry as well.

Kura: Yami you can stop hiding now, I know your here.

Yami: (Peaks out of a shadow being in his shadow form to hide).  You sure and how did you know I was here?

Kura: Darkness can see through a shadow most times and also, I know now that I called out so grab your food.

Yami: Fine.  (Comes out of the shadow grumpily as he also gets out of his shadow form as well and grabs a bowl).

Kairi: (Comes in along with Tori, Raku, and Nara as she smiles).  We are back, sorry it took so long.

Nara: Yes, sorry about that.  (Holds Raku’s arm happily being in a very good mood now as they walk into the kitchen where Kura, Yami and Zahir are).

Hiki: (Smiles as she thinks of a way to wake up Chazz since he is resting on her lap).  Master oh, master it’s time to get up for lunch.

Chazz: (Still is half asleep).  Just five… More minutes… Hiki.

Hiki: No, no you can’t you have to eat… Or do I have to kiss you on the lips to wake you up….  (Smirks a little bit).

Chazz: (As soon as Hiki says that Chazz gets up and is awake).  Nope… Ummm… Hello I am… Up now, time to eat.

Tori: (Laughs a little bit).

Hiki: (Pouts just a little bit).  Didn’t need to react like that now….  (She then smiles as she, Chazz, and Tori head into the kitchen for their food).

Jennifer: (Walks on Chazz’s other side to grab some food as well).  I am glad you had a good nap then, oh and I guess Shizen is still upstairs helping Ziona.  I will get her bowl as well then.

Kairi: Yay we get to see Luka and Lulu again!

Nara: They are quite adorable.  Who knew Zahir could make such adorable kids?  (Laughs a little).

Zahir: Hey, hey… At least I got kids unlike you Nara… And I think I am pretty cool looking so hah!  (Chuckles a little)

Nara: Hey I wasn’t trying to have kids.  I could if I wanted to.

Chazz: Thank you madam and alright we will be down here eating when you get back.

Kairi: I thought we were all eating upstairs though?

Chazz: Oh, we were?

Hiki: Yeah master, you must have been asleep when we mentioned it so don’t worry since we all want to see the kids before we leave.

Tori: That’s what you get for trying to show off too much.  (Chuckles a little bit).

Chazz: Yes, yes, my apologies for the confusion.

Zahir: No need to worry about it, plus don’t act like it’s going to be the last time you are going to see them.  I’m sure you will some other time.

Jennifer: I am sure we can visit again sometime soon.

Kairi: I hope so to it is amazing here.  I kind of do not want to leave.

Jennifer: And the time we spent getting Zahir back home was pretty amazing.  A day later and Luka and Lulu would have been in this world already… I am glad you got to become a family together.  (Smiles at Zahir).

Zahir: I am too… I got another chance to see my wife again and everyone else here… I got another chance….

Jennifer: And I am sure that you will be with her and your kids for a long time… I know it.

Nara: We’re glad to have you back Zahir and I know Ziona is happy as well… She was so sad when you were gone but now… I haven’t seen her smile this much since around her wedding day with you.  (Smiles kindly at Zahir patting him on the shoulder).

Raku: Yeah… When I tried talking to her before you came… She felt so lonely and unsure of how things were going to work out… But now she is so happy that I’m glad that she is.

Zahir: (Smiles gratefully).  Thank you everyone… I truly appreciate it.

Jennifer: It is no problem at all, and I am glad you are happy now.

Kairi: Ooh and maybe Nara will be expecting a baby next time we visit.

Nara: I umm I’m not sure about that….  (She laughs nervously not sure if she’s ready for that or not).

Kairi: Why not?  Their so adorable ooh and I wonder if it would have a snake tail like you do.

Nara: (Laughs).  Well, that would be interesting but I will talk to Raku about that later.  (Smiles at Raku and hugs him).

Raku: (Sighs a little bit but with a small smile).  Would be interesting but we will see later.

Kairi: Alright then.

Kura: Shall we head upstairs then?

Jennifer: I think so, let’s go.  (Starts to head upstairs with her and Shizen’s food).

Kairi (Follows happily along with Kura and Yami).

Zahir: (Is leading the way upstairs as everyone follows with a small plate of food that looks like a sandwich and stew with some side things to go with it).

Hiki: I love seeing the babies, they are so cute!

Jennifer: They really are cute.

Kairi: Especially since their twins, so cute!

Yami: Don’t see how you put up with getting them out of a stomach like that.  It looked like the most painful thing ever.  (Looks a little sick just mentioning it).

Kura: (Sighs).  I told you not to go in there didn’t I and I would think it’s worth it by how happy it makes a family.  Like you Yami, you were so adorable the Kuro and I couldn’t help but smile with you around.  You even had fangs for some reason, but you were still so cute… Hmm I wonder if you still have them.  (Opens Yami’s mouth to look) Oh yeah still there.

Kairi: Ooh let me see!  (Goes over to Kura and Yami).  Wow he really does, cool.

Yami: (Says thought it is muffled from Kura looking in his mouth).  Stop it, it’s not that cool!  I’ll bite you!

Jennifer: (Laughs a little).  Cannot help but laugh at moments like this.

Hiki and Tori: (Look as well as Hiki almost pokes at the fangs a little bit).

Chazz: True but then it makes things more exciting now does it not Jennifer?

Jennifer: (Stops for a moment realizing Chazz had called her by her name and whispers with a smile as she looks down).  You… Called me by my name….

Yami: Hey let go!  (Bites Kura’s hand a little as he talks, and she pulls back).

Kura: Well, you always were a biter, but I was hoping you grew out of that, hmm their sharper too.

Yami: (Looks annoyed).  Just stop picking at my teeth.  What’s the big deal!

Hiki: (Laughs alongside Tori as she blushes a little bit looking at Jennifer with Chazz).

Zahir, Nara, and Raku: (Are going on ahead while everyone is doing this in the hallway).

Chazz: (Looks at Jennifer with a wondering look).  Are you alright madam?

Jennifer: Oh, umm yes… It is just that you called me by my name… Thank you….  (Smiles at Chazz giving him a small hug).

Chazz: (Is surprised at first but takes the hug).

Hiki: (Runs up and hugs Chazz from behind).  Hey no fair.  I want to hug him too!

Jennifer: I am alright with that… It is just… Can you call me by my name more often like when it’s just this group here…? I know it is improper… It just makes me feel like I am not just another noble you have to serve sometimes….  (Looks down a little but stays in the hug).

Chazz: Hmm if that as what you ask of me m-.  (Coughs).  I mean Jennifer.

Hiki: (Holds on tighter as she hides her face in Chazz’s back).

Jennifer: Thank you… Thank you so much… You do not know how much it means for me to hear you call me that.  (Continues to hold onto Chazz wiping her eyes a little).

Kairi: (Sees everything happening with Chazz and smiles but does not butt in, just smiles at them and then at Tori).

Hiki: (Whispers to herself).  I won’t lose… I want my master to myself… Because I love him… But you do too don’t you Jenny….

Tori: (He smiles at Kairi as they wait for the moment to end).

Chazz: (Accepts the tight embraces as he pets both of their heads).

Jennifer: (Hears Hiki a little bit and looks down a little letting go and smiling at Chazz letting Hiki hug him a little more feeling better just hearing her name).  I am alright now… Thank you umm let’s go see Ziona and the twins now….  (Starts to walk down the hall while looking back and smiling at Hiki for a second not feeling jealous if she gets to hold him a little longer.  She is just happy she could hear her name from Chazz).

Kairi: (Follows Jennifer along with Kura and Yami behind her).

Chazz: (Hugs Hiki for a little bit getting a feeling that she needs the comfort).

Hiki: (Let’s go without a word to Chazz and runs up next to Jennifer).

Jennifer: (Smiles at Hiki not saying anything just smiles as if saying it is alright).

 

In Zahir and Ziona’s room Ziona is lying in bed but sitting up as Shizen sits next to her as she feeds Luka and Lulu.  Shizen had taken a blanket to cover the twins as they drink their mother’s milk and made it tightened it around her neck a little so it would not fall off.  Shizen tells her ways to help with Luka and Lulu and what they will need as well as answering any questions Ziona might have.  Zahir knocks and comes in with Raku and Nara shortly after.

Ziona: (Gets a big smile as she sees Zahir as the blanket cover her and most of Luka and Lulu but still blushes a little).

Shizen: Ah hello, I think I fixed the problem from earlier so there should be no worries now hopefully.

Zahir: Alright if we can avoid more incidents like that it would be nice and how are you feeling Ziona.  How are the kids?

Ziona: I’m fine, just tired but they are eating a lot.  Other than that, they seem fine just very adorable, and Luka keeps making these funny noises and Lulu is so shy.  It’s so cute.  (Smiles at Zahir still wanting to be close to him).

Shizen: (Moves to sit a little away so Zahir can sit by the side of the bed next to Ziona).

Nara: (Laughs a little and goes to find a place to sit in the room with Raku).

Zahir: (Sits next to Ziona).  Well, that’s good to hear and I’m happy to hear that they are alright.  They may need a nap later since they are eating so much.

Shizen: Well, they need it to become big and strong one day and Ziona will need to eat enough to feed them.

Ziona: I will try my best.  (Just then Luka and Lulu start to cry out, Luka being louder than his sister).  Oh, I guess their full now.  (Removes Luka from the blanket first being careful she is covered still holding the crying Luka out to Zahir as she handles Lulu trying to calm her down).  Shh it’s alright, don’t cry.

Zahir: Shh, shh it’s alright now since you’re all full now… supposed to feel sleepy not cry so much.  (As he chuckles a little bit while he handles Luka).

Nara: (Laughs a little).  He is quite loud.

Ziona: (Cradles Lulu as she smiles down at her rocking her back and forth gently to calm her down being in her own little world as she looks at her daughter who starts to calm down).  See… It’s alright… Everything’s alright….

Shizen: (Smiles at Ziona knowing she will be one of the best mothers because of how she cares for her family and knowing Zahir will be good with his family as well).

Luka: (Isn’t as quick to calm down, still crying but not as loudly as Lulu begins to look around and reach for Ziona).

Nara: (She covers her ears and laughs a bit more).  He is quite a loud one huh?

Raku: True but then again, he is like his dad now, isn’t he?  (He smirks a bit with a laugh).

Zahir: Hey, hey… Raku… Your right, your right… But I will do my best to make them happy.  I may not be the best at this, but I will do my best.

Ziona: I know you will do your best… You always do.  (Smiles at Zahir kissing him on the cheek as Luka starts to calm down more and tries to grab at Zahir).

Shizen: (Turns to Raku and Nara).  Well also when they get a bit older you probably will be babysitting them as their aunt and uncle.

Nara: (Looks a little unsure with a nervous laugh).  I umm not sure about that… I’m afraid I might break or drop them.

Raku: That’s why I’m here you dumb.  (Knocks her over the head lightly).  Don’t worry about it dear.

Nara: Hey no hitting.  (Punches Raku in the arm a little bit and smiles).

Ziona: Nara… If you want, you could try holding one now… I’m sure you will do alright.  You can to Raku, it’s fine.

Nara: (Looks unsure still).  I’m umm not sure about that still.

Shizen: (Laughs).  You won’t break them Nara, don’t worry it is not too scary.

Raku: Come on, it would be interesting.

Nara: (Sighs and looks at Luka and Lulu).  I guess I can try…. (Goes closer to the babies but still looks unsure).

Ziona: (Smiles and hold Lulu out for Nara to hold).  It’s alright, go ahead.

Nara: (Hesitantly reaches to hold Lulu being unsure of what she is doing at first as she looks at her being very careful since she is afraid, she might break her).

Raku: (Smiles at Nara).  You will be fine, just believe in yourself dear.  I know it will be fine.

Zahir: Raku do want to hold Luka?

Raku: Hmm nah let me see how Nara does at first then we will go from there.

Nara: (After a little bit Nara becomes more comfortable and rocks Lulu a little as she smiles slightly at her.  She then starts thinking of why she is so scared to have some of her own… Their so small… It’s something she can’t fully explain herself just that she never wanted one of her own and now she’s not sure that’s true anymore as she looks at Lulu and those thoughts showing in her expression).

Raku: Well how do you feel Nara?  (Smiles at Nara hugely wondering how she feels).

Nara: (Looks at Raku and smiles as well not saying anything just smiling but he understanding what she wants just from that look).

Raku: Yes… I see the brightness in your eyes.  (He laughs a little bit as he pets her head).

Nara: (Smiles more at Raku and then kisses him on the cheek as she holds Lulu).

Ziona: (Smiles at Nara and Raku then looks at Zahir and giggles a little about the idea of Raku and Nara starting a family to).

Shizen: (Just watches the couples with a big grin).

Nara: (As she holds Lulu, Lulu starts to cry which makes her panic a little thinking she did something wrong).  No what’s wrong!  I didn’t break you already!  I’m sorry, what is it please don’t cry!

Ziona: (Giggles).  It’s alright, she probably just wants to be held by me… She doesn’t like to be away from us long, I guess.

Nara: Oh, umm here you can hold her again… Thank you.

Ziona: (Holds Lulu close to comfort her).  No problem, I think Luka is a little less like that… Just watch out he will try to grab and slobber you.  (Giggles more since that is what Luka is doing to Zahir as she says this).

Raku and Zahir: (Look at each other for a bit than come to an agreement).

Zahir: Hey Nara, want to hold Luka as well… He isn’t as quiet as Lulu but he still a kid to hold if you want too.

Nara: (Laughs a little).  I’m fine for now, maybe a little later but thank you.  (As a knock on the door is heard).

Jennifer: It’s just us, sorry it took so long.  Can we come in?

Zahir: Looks like the rest of the party is here.  Are you ready for the crowd Ziona?  (As he kisses Ziona’s head quickly before he walks over to the door).

Ziona: (Nods trying not to be as shy around the idea of a crowd and smiles at Zahir).  A-alright.

Nara: Took them a while.

Shizen: (Laughs).  Yes, I almost wanted to check on them myself.

Raku: (Laughs a little bit as Zahir opens the door for everyone).

Jennifer: (Smiles).  Hello oh and Luka hello to you to little guy.

Kairi: (Goes over to look at Luka excitedly).  He is still so cute!

Luka: (Smiles and makes a giggling sound as he looks at everyone, taking in the surrounding as he grabs onto Zahir still).

Hiki: (Follows Kairi and does the same as the rest of the group comes in without a rush).

Chazz: Hello everyone

Tori: Yo

Ziona: H-hello.

Jennifer: Hi there oh and Shizen I brought you your food to.

Shizen: Thank you child.

Kura: (Is beside Yami and nudges him a little when in front of Zahir).

Yami: (Sighs with a grumpy pout).  Fine I’m sorry ok, there I said it you happy now?

Kura: Yes, I am, thank you.  (Pats Yami on the head).

Ziona: (Blushes as she remembers what had happened).  I-it’s alright Yami I-I know you didn’t mean to.

Yami: Yeah… Sorry.

Nara: He got you angry to, wow you are a little troublemaker aren’t you?  (Laughs).

Yami: Shut it, am not!

Lulu: (Starts to cry from the sudden shout making Luka cry).

Ziona: (Comforts Lulu so she calms down again).

Kura: (Knocks Yami over the head).  Nice going you idiot.

Yami: (Rubs his head and lowers his voice).  Oops.

Tori: (Sighs as he does the same).  Yeah, good job Yami, making the baby cry.

Hiki: (Keeps looking at Luka with a sparkle in her eyes).  Daw still so cute!

Zahir: (Sighs as he goes by Ziona as he hands Luka off to Raku and Nara).  Here for now watch him for me.  (He then says to Luka).  I need to check on your sister real quick alright?

Luka: (Just looks at Lulu as she cries, and he continues to).

Nara: (Holds Luka with Raku but letting him have a turn to hold the baby more so he knows what it’s like).

Ziona: (Looks up at Zahir as she comforts Lulu in her hold).  I guess she gets scared easily… It’s alright Lulu shh nothing bad happened, everything’s fine.  (Cradles Lulu in her arms holding her close).

Raku: (Holds the baby like how Zahir held him, and he begins to try and play with him to keep him from crying but it doesn’t seem that effective, so Hiki tries to help with the baby).

Luka: (Still cries until Lulu is calmed by Ziona then grabs for Hiki’s hair as he is in Raku’s arms with a big smile).

Kairi: (Is right next to Hiki and playing with Luka a little as well along with Jennifer).  He’s so cute and your really good with little kids Hiki.  He really likes you.

Jennifer: He has such an adorable big smile to.

Hiki: Well… Ow… At least he is not… Ow… Crying anymore… Ow… Still cute but ow.  (She is tilting her head in a weird position from the hair pulling)

Tori: Well at least he likes you Hiki so it’s fine.  (He chuckles a little bit as he pets Hiki’s head making her pout a little).

Chazz: (He helps Hiki get her hair out of Luka’s hold so that Hiki won’t feel the hair pulling pain).  Yes, yes not nice to pull a girl’s hair.

Jennifer: (Laughs and helps Hiki as well getting her hair out of Luka’s grip though the hair is a little slobbered on).  Wow he has a strong grip for a newborn.

Luka: (Looks upset at first but then looks for a new target and reaches for Tori grabbing his shirt and reaching up to his face).

Tori: Well, it looks like I’m in for a strong tug of war but alright.  (Let’s Luka take the shirt in his grip as he takes him away from Raku).

Kairi: (Giggles and goes over to Tori to play with Luka).  He really is cute with trying to grab everything he sees.  (Look at Lulu in Ziona’s hold).  What about you Lulu?  Do you want to say hi to everyone?

Lulu: (Just hides shyly).

Kairi: Aww she’s so shy.

Nara: (Laughs shaking her head).  Just like Ziona.

Ziona: (Just blushes but smiles at all of the attention).

Hiki: (Laughs as well).  Well like the daughter gets traits from the mom so they are both shy but still both so cute.

Zahir: I know right, she is very adorable.

Kairi: She really is!  (Looks at Kura and smiles seeing her smile at Luka and Lulu).

Kairi: Do you want to hold one of them Kura?

Kura: Oh no I’m fine, it’s just I agree they are adorable is all.

Kairi: You know you want to.

Kura: No really, it’s fine.

Kairi: (Takes Luka form Tori and holds Luka who makes a giggling noise with a goofy smile out to Kura).  Are you sure, they are so cute?

Kura: I know from when Yami was small and… Why not.  (She laughs and takes Luka and holds him rocking Luka in her arms making him calm very quickly from being so playful and energetic).

Jennifer: Wow you are really good with the little guy.  You calmed him down so quickly.  (Laughs but has an impressed expression).

Kura: (Laughs shaking her head no).  Well, I wouldn’t say that.

Chazz: I’m pretty sure you could.

Zahir: (Is in shock). Tow I couldn’t be able to tell that that was the same kid as before.  You did very well Kura.

Hiki: (Is in shock as well).

Kura: … I guess it is a hidden talent then.

Kairi: Wow I guess when you have your own kids you will be great at this.  (Laughs as well).

Kura: (Smiles down at Luka but with a hint of sadness).  In the future… Perhaps to others… But no… I don’t think my own….

Kairi: (Looks confused seeing the sadness).

Yami: (Looks at Kura looking concerned seeing the hint of sadness but says nothing as he leans against the wall with his hands in his pockets).

Hiki and Tori: (Both look at Kura wondering why she looks so sad).

Hiki: Kura are you alright, why so sad so suddenly?

Kura: Oh… I’m not, it’s nothing… Here you can take him for now… I’ll be back in a moment.  (Hands Luka to Hiki and leaves without another word as she hides her face).

Kairi: (Is about to go after Kura but Yami stops her placing a hand on her shoulder but saying nothing just stares at the door Kura left).

Shizen: (Looks out where Kura had left and sighs).  Let her go for now I would think.

Hiki: (Looks worried about Kura but so does everyone else since this is not normal for her).

Zahir: Well… Um… Here let take Luka again….  (Takes Luka away from Hiki who doesn’t even notice).

Yami: (Still says nothing as he sits on the windowsill looking out the window being lost in thought).

Kairi: (She still looks very concerned but not sure what she can do).

Shizen: (Just sits where she had and says nothing as well, the whole room being much quieter than before).

Ziona: (Looks at Zahir not sure what happened but she is still concerned).

Yami: (While looking out the window he starts to think of the night before they were leaving to find Zahir that turns into a small flashback).

 

Yami is awake on the roof late at night enjoying the moment of quiet as he thinks to himself and absorbs dark energy but then sees Kura climbing up the roof.

Yami: I guess you couldn’t sleep huh?

Kura: No Yami just a bad dream again.

Yami: Yeah… Know how that is… That’s why I gave up on it a while ago.

Kura: (Sits beside Yami).  Yes, me as well but the memories and pain are still there… It’s something that cannot be forgotten… Although I have tried many times….

Yami: Yeah… I know… Wish I could have done something to help you back then… If we weren’t split up, then maybe-.

Kura: Then you would have been captured as well and that’s something I never will let happen to you… My only regret is I couldn’t protect you from the pain you experienced once I was gone that prevents you from sleeping even one night.

Yami: No… Don’t apologize… I understand now what you we’re doing… True the scars won’t fade, and I can no longer feel physical pain much… But the most pain I felt was being alone… If I hadn’t come here… I’d still be in pain… But now… I think it’s better… But sis if there a point where I have to protect you like you did with me… I’m taking it.

Kura: (Looks seriously at Yami).  No Yami, I’m not letting that happen.

Yami: Don’t argue with that.  I already promised myself that.

Kura: That won’t happen Yami.  We’re staying together this time.

Yami: I… I hope so… But for now, let just stay up here… away from the nightmares ok?

Kura: Yes Yami… Though it is something that is hard to move past… Hard to let go… Hard to let the fear go.

Yami: I know… I know….

 

They both stare up at the sky until the sky starts to brighten calling the beginning of the next day as the flashback ends.

Yami: (Says silently but out loud next to Tori and Hiki as he stares out the window still lost in thought with a small laugh but not out of happiness).  The nightmares never fade….

Shizen: (Hears Yami as well but says nothing understanding what he means).

Hiki and Tori: (Don’t understand why Yami would say that but also understand the context of it since they know what it feels like to not know the pain).

(The room is a lot quieter for a little bit besides a few noises from the twins that start to yawn and look sleepy).

Ziona: I guess their getting tired now.

Nara: Well, they do need a lot of sleep so should we leave and let them sleep then?

Jennifer: I think everyone has had enough to eat right?  (Starts to pick up empty plates and bowels).

Kairi: Aww but that means we have to go soon.  (Looks a little upset at the thought).

Zahir: Yeah, let’s all head out to let them rest for now after all of that silence.

Chazz: I agree should at least finish up the dishes and get everything ready.

Hiki: (Jumps onto Chazz).  Can we go back into the village again, huh can we?

Tori: I don’t see why not.  (Starts heading into the hallway).

Chazz: We will see alright Hiki, calm down for now.

Hiki: (Gets off Chazz).  Yes master.

Jennifer and Kairi: (Both go to Luka and Lulu in Zahir and Ziona’s arms saying goodbye to them). 

Yami: (Still looks out the window lost in thought until Shizen places a hand on his shoulder realizing what is happening and starts to leave as well).

Ziona: (Speaks up with a smile).  T-thank you… For everything… I can’t thank you enough… You helped protect the people here… You helped so much… Most of all… Thank you… For bringing my husband back to where he belongs.

Shizen: You don’t need to thank us Ziona, just be happy and live peacefully with your family.

Chazz: Yes and no need, we only did what we thought was right.

Zahir: Well still I have no way to thank any of you for what you had done for all of us.  You have my thanks always.

Tori: Just let us know when we need to kick an army’s butt again.  We will come running.  (He chuckles alongside Hiki and Raku).

Raku: True we will call you for stuff like that.

Shizen: (Laughs then goes over to Zahir taking his hand and while doing that placing something in his hand being a green gem like the ones Kairi and Chazz we’re given by Jennifer).  Well let us know anything you need, and I will get things smuggled to you to help somehow.  I have a idea how to do that once though it may take a little bit.

Nara: (Looks at Shizen with curiosity).  What is it?

Shizen: (Gives a small smirk).  Now that’s for you to find out later.

Raku and Zahir: (Both look a little bit confused as well).

Raku: I feel like I shouldn’t ask more than that.

Zahir: Yeah, we probably shouldn’t since I may or may not like the answer… If she even does answer us.

Shizen: It will be fine I believe but I need to create a portal so that may take a bit.  If you need any of us, we will be here around another hour.

Jennifer: I will go with you then.

Shizen: Very well Child.

Kairi: Alright I will come back up to say goodbye.  (Zooms out to explore the island one more time as well as to look for where Kura had gone).

Yami: (Leaves the room still looking deep in thought with no words).

Shizen: (Sighs seeing Yami leave).  Those two have been through so much… And at such a young age… Things like that are hard to move forward from… It takes a lot of time and support… But even then, the scars remain but just being in a family again helps them through it.  They will be fine, they just need time, support and perhaps some comfort but mostly from each other.

Jennifer: (Looks at where Yami was she then has a saddened expression imagining the hard past they have had).

Hiki and Tori: (Are not sure of what to do next besides to follow both Kura and Yami since they feel worried for them).

Chazz: (As they leave, he tells Hiki and Tori).  You may not be able to help much but you two can at least try understanding the scars they may be feeling and be there for them.

 

Yami walks out of the house and straight into the forest where Kura probably went to.  He is not looking at his surroundings as much just walking into the darkest part where he sees Kura crouched under a tree and stops looking at his sister and sighs.

Yami: Kura… It’s just another memory… It’s just in your head….

Kura: (Says nothing not moving from where she is with her head down).

Yami: (Sighs and sits in front of Kura).  I’m right here… You can talk about it if that helps since I told you what happened to me… But then again, I never asked you to share it… It’s not something I would ask you to do so don’t worry about it.  I get the idea… We can just sit here until your nightmare ends… I’ll wait right here….  (Looks at Kura not caring how long he waits not leaving to make sure he’s there when she snaps out of it.  He is being much calmer and different from his normal self).

Hiki and Tori: (Are close behind as they watch the two siblings from a nearby tree).

Yami: (Notices Hiki and Tori and sighs).  I would leave her alone right now.  She won’t answer until she snaps out of it….

Hiki and Tori: (Come out of hiding from behind a tree).

Hiki: (Feels concerned and unsure still).  Are you sure?

Yami: Yeah… You get used to it… I guess the nightmares don’t go away when you wake up… She’ll be back to normal just this happens every now and then… I guess I got used to it more than her.  (Not once does he look away from Kura while talking).

Hiki: (Goes over to Kura and gives her a hug).  She doesn’t need to wake up from it just stand strong through it with all of us and not alone….

Yami: (Tries to stop Hiki from hugging Kura but he is too late).  Wait don’t touch her yet!

Kura: (Her eyes widen, and she tries to scramble away with a look of pure fear as if she’s seeing her deepest fears and not Hiki.  It’s like a state where she sees illusions and not reality).

Hiki: (Is launched from Kura as Tori catches her and she looks confused as to what just happened).

Yami: (Goes over to sit directly in-front of Kura again) … It’s ok Kura… Whatever you saw was just a memory… And if you wake up, you’ll see your brother again… Probably would wish it was Kuro though

Kura: (Sits there for a moment and then tears start to fall with her head down taking a moment to speak again).  It… Wasn’t real….

Yami: Just a nightmare so just calm down.

Kura: (Puts her hand to her face as she tries to regain herself) I’m sorry… It must of gotten to me… I think it’s over now… Trying to shake the nightmares hold… It should be fine now.

Yami: Good… Welcome back.  (Smiles at Kura and stays across from her still to make sure she’s fully calmed).

Hiki and Tori: (Still watch from behind Yami wondering what had happened to Kura before they met her, yet they are also more afraid to find out about it).

Kura: (Looks up and removes her hand seeing Hiki and Tori behind Yami).  I’m sorry you had to see me like that… It was just a nightmare that was triggered nothing more… I’m better now.

Yami: Good, glad your back… I’m right here like I said I would be… Every time no matter what.

Kura: (Hugs Yami).  Thank you… And I will do the same for you….

Yami: Nah I can deal with it.

Hiki: No… No, it’s fine… Just wow… You had me flying in the air like Tori.

Kura: (Laughs a little and then looks down).  Well, a nightmare will do that to you… I’m sorry though for doing that to you… I was seeing things I prefer never to live through again… It still haunts me though… And I think it always will at this point.

Yami: Yeah… I know how that is… I guess I just learned to deal with it better now but… Still not easy to sleep… So, I gave up on it… Even when resting I don’t let myself actually sleep… Instead, I just absorb enough darkness until I’m not tired.

Kura: (Laughs a little).  I wish I could go without sleep like you, that would make it easier.

Yami: Yeah, I guess so as long as your mind doesn’t wander to it.

Kura: True and having my brother by my side helps as well.

Yami: Yeah, not being alone….

Kura: (Looks at Hiki and Tori and smiles as she stands with Yami helping her up and she walks to face Hiki).  I’m sorry if I hurt you… I was seeing things that were not there… And I suppose what Kairi said triggered my mind… It’s nothing to big, it’s just that because of what I went through I will probably never have a child of my own… That was likely taken away from me… However right now with this group I think I don’t mind.  Besides I’m too young for that… Ever since that time you reached out and I told you who I was it’s been better so perhaps… One day I will be able to move on, but I think for now a hug will do.  (Hugs Hiki and smiles at her as a apology for pushing her away).

Yami: (Walks beside Kura to face Tori).  Yeah… I’m not opening up like that and don’t expect a hug either.

Hiki: (Brings Yami into the hug as well as Tori and smiles at the sight).  It’s no problem… I don’t feel that much pain from it since Tori caught me… But don’t need to worry… No matter your past I will be here to accept you… So, no matter what me and everyone else will be here for the both of you.

Kura: (Smiles at the big hug with a few tears).  Thank you… With that things are better… Thank you. 

Yami: (Is kind of crushed in the middle of the hug).  Yeah… With this new family were not alone again… As long as I don’t get crushed to death here.

Kura: Deal with it Yami.  (Laughs and tightens the hug).

Yami: (Is crushed by the hug even more).  … Help, can’t breathe….

Hiki: (Is tearing up as well as she holds the two of them with Tori giggling a little bit as she lets the hug loosen).

Kura: (After a moment she let’s go of the hug letting Yami catch his breath while smiling at Hiki and wiping her eyes).  it’s fine now but Tori did you not want a hug as well or would you prefer one from Kairi?  (Smirks a little seeing him lean away from the hug).

Tori: Hey, hey I get my fair share of hugs from both Kairi and Hiki, so I don’t want to crush Yami as well.

Kura: Very well.

Yami: (Once he catches his breath, he looks annoyed).  Ok even with the emotions and stuff I don’t like hugs so could you just leave me out of it next time or something.

Hiki: Nope I can’t.  (She smiles more at Yami).

Yami: Fine but don’t expect me to hug back.  I still don’t do hugs.

Kura: You let Kairi hug you now.

Yami: I don’t think I have much of a choice with her but at least her hugs I don’t get crushed in.

Hiki: (Pouts a little bit).  So, your saying my hugs are no good?  (Gives off a cute pout).

Yami: No, its just I won’t be crushed by those!  I couldn’t breathe!  (Points to both Kura and Hiki’s chest).

Kura: (Sighs).  Perhaps I was wrong earlier, maybe he will never grow out of that and.  (Hits Yami over the head).  That wasn’t nice.

Yami: (Rubs his head).  What the hell!

Hiki: (Blushes a little bit from the comment

Tori: (Does the same to Yami as Kura had done).  Got to be more careful with your words Yami.  You don’t want another Zahir or Nara moment now do we?  It would be kind of bad for everyone.

Hiki: (Stands up and hides behind Tori).  Yeah, you silly shadow!  (She sticks her tongue out before running to the house).

Yami: Hey not cool with the name calling!  … Silly shadow?

Kura: (Laughs).  Not that big of an insult, he’s more of an idiot from how much trouble he gets into.

Yami: (Starts to get frustrated).  Hey, I said quit it!

Kura: Would you rather I call you little Yami then?

Yami: I’m not little!

Kura: (Laughs more as they start to walk back to the house with Tori).  Fine oh and Tori are you going to do something about your feelings for Kairi?  It’s pretty obvious you have feelings for her with how she cuddles up to you.  She really is bad at hiding her feelings.  (She laughs a little more).

Tori: (He tenses up from the question).  I’m… Working on it… Without having to worry about having an arrow stick in the back of my head

Kura: (Looks in thought).  Yes, having a protective older sister, hmm well that is a problem.  I know being one myself but… I think you will one day have a moment to share your feeling but for now it’s kind of cute how you two have your little moments.  (Laughs a little).

Yami: (Shrugs not really having much to say about this kind of stuff).

Tori: Yeah, but right now I’m just working on it.  I shared some feelings with her I just can’t do more but I’m alright with that for now.

Kura: True she still has a little growing up to do but her birthday is coming up soon so perhaps after that or the year after that.  If you need me to lure her sister away, I have got your back on this.  I can be nice sometimes.  Especially when it comes to helping with these kinds of things so just let me know.  (Smiles at Tori).

Yami: Why are you so into this type of stuff?

Kura: Because I read too many books about it and so I started creating them and thinking about it in reality.  I mean especially a first kiss, that must be perfect.

Yami: What’s the big deal with a kiss?  I don’t see it.  (Shrugs).

Kura: (Sigh).  Of course, you don’t.  Well, a kiss is meant to put all your feelings into, on day you will understand.

Yami: I doubt it.

Tori: It’s only for right now, maybe in the future you may be struggling with same type of love that I am, but we shall see.  (Pats Yami on the back).

Yami: (Shrugs still not getting it).

Kura: One day and I will look forward to pointing out how you see it now.  (Laughs as they make it back to the house).

 

Shizen is working on the gate back to the mansion as Kura and Yami come back with Tori.  Jennifer and Hiki are helping Zahir with some chores with Raku and Nara).

Kairi: (See Kura and Yami and runs over to hug them looking concerned).  Are you alright now?

Kura: (Smiles at Kairi).  Yes, it’s fine now.

Kairi: Good I’m glad.

Kura: Yes, now go hug Tori since he helped but Hiki helped as well.

Kairi: Alright, hi Tori thank you for helping them!  (Hugs Tori).

Tori: (Accepts the hug seeing what Kura was trying to do).  No problem… Though I didn’t do much, Hiki did more than me… Hiki: Doesn’t mean you don’t get a hug as well.

Kairi: (Smiles happily staying in the hug a little more before letting go).

Jennifer: Shizen how is the gate going?  Are you having trouble?

Shizen: No, I am fine child.  I am just trying to find the location.  It is more difficult when not doing this in the city, but I am almost done.

Jennifer: Alright well take your time.  (Turns to Zahir, Raku, and Nara with a smile). We had a great time meeting everyone.

Nara: (Grins).  No problem, you’re welcomed back any time and if you need any help just ask.

Kairi: Ooh and maybe one day you could visit us, or I could invite you to my birthday party if Ziona feels better by then.

Nara: Hmm we will see though it is difficult to go in your world for long without being contracted.

Hiki: True but maybe we could celebrate it over here then.

Chazz: It would be possible to do since it would be trouble to have them come by us.

Kairi: Well either way I am happy with it.

Shizen: Well, I will try and find a way so no need to worry but….  (Suddenly a gate like a portal that glows green appears in front of her and smiles back to them).  I think it is time to go for now.

Kairi: Aww already?  (Pouts a little).

Jennifer: I see, I will probably have a lot of paperwork now if it has been a few days.  (Sighs not looking forward to all the work she probably has to catch up on).

Tori: I guess if looks like that… Uhh we have been gone for a while, haven’t we?

Hiki: (Pouts a little bit).  Aww I wanted more time with the babies.

Chazz: It will be fine; we will come back another day for sure so no need to be sad.

Shizen: Well, we can always make a portal back though it takes a lot of energy just to make one.

Jennifer: (Faces Zahir).  Well take care and if you need help just contact us through that stone Shizen gave you.

Kairi: (Hugs Zahir, Raku, and Nara).  Bye I can’t wait until we visit again.  I just hope I don’t run into Raku every time we see each other.

Nara: (Laughs).  Well make sure to look where you are going but if that is your way to great him then don’t worry.  It takes a lot to hurt him.

Kairi: Well, I still am sorry about that and scaring you at first.

Raku: (still talking to Kairi) no need to worry about it anymore, everything is cleared up now and I look forward to seeing everyone again.

Zahir: Yeah… No problem, if anything I’ll call, and I know you will all run back.  Chazz you may be together with two powerful spirits but don’t forget that even sometimes you need your own sense of balance, especially in other areas.  (Is directing towards Jennifer and Hiki secretly).

Chazz: (Realizes what Zahir means and says quietly).  Umm… I am aware of that, and I will work on it… But yes, if anything bad or you just want us to come and visit just let us know and we will be here.

Hiki: (Not noticing what Zahir meant she just smiles).  And when we come back, I’m going to see the babies again, oh am I so excited!

Tori: Well calm down for now silly girl and Nara next time we will spare without having to show off alright.

Yami: Next time I better get a turn to spar.

Kura: You have to learn self control first Yami.

Yami: Sure, whatever but I’ll be even stronger next time.

Kura: (Sighs while shaking her head).  Well at least you are determined.  We will see you next time and if you need a babysitter let me know.  (Waves and heads to the gate after saying their farewells while pushing Yami along).

Yami: See ya, Kura I can walk on my own don’t push.

Shizen: Go ahead, I am going last to hold the portal open.

Kairi: Oh, alright bye then, see you next time!  (Gives out a few last hugs and then waves as she catches up with Kura and Yami with a bright smile looking back).

Jennifer: (Gives out hugs as well before she leaves and saying to Zahir as she hugs him before she leaves).  I am glad we could help you get to your family.

Zahir: I am too… More than you could ever know.

Hiki: (She gives a hug to Ziona inside the house because she wanted to make sure to say farewell properly one last time to her and the babies and then she walks through the gate waving goodbye along with Tori).

Ziona: (Is surprised by the sudden hug from Hiki but looks out her bedroom window and waves back to everyone with a big smile).

Chazz: Well, there goes my company, looks like I will be leaving as well then.  Goodbye everyone and Nara did I impress you in our a spar?  (Gives off a little smirk as his hands turn slightly black and white with his magic).

Nara: (Smirks as well).  Hmm well I was impressed but perhaps next time we will spar again, and you can impress me even more.

Chazz: Maybe, maybe but for now goodbye everyone.  (He leaves through the gate with a wave back).

Shizen: Alright I think that is everyone.  (Goes to say goodbye as well).  Well, this has been a interesting little adventure hasn’t it?  I am glad that it had a good outcome.

Nara: (Smiles back at Shizen).  Thank you Shizen, you always do your best to look after us.

Zahir: You really do though, sometimes I feel like a bother to you for everything you do for us but then again, I don’t mind it.

Shizen: Don’t be silly, I am happy to help.  You are the kind of spirits I know I can rely on in the future and I know that if I am away Zahir, you would do a great job at that being leader of the poison spirits once you are no longer in hiding.  (Places a hand on Zahir’s shoulder and smiles).  I know that day will come soon, and your family will be safe from harm.  Zahir once they are safe you will lead the poison spirits out of hiding with help from Raku and Nara since they are strong as well… I am leader of the nature spirits, but I trust you to take the lead when I am not there as second in command when you are brought out of hiding.

Zahir: That may be a lot to handle all at once but I’m sure that it will work out for me and my family.  Just trying to lead everyone will be an interesting thing alright.

Raku: I’m pretty sure that it will be fine from how much everyone respects you.

Nara: I mean before you left you led things here pretty well so I think you can handle it.

Shizen: Yes, I think so as well but for now I have to say farewell.  (She hugs Raku and Nara then Zahir whispering as she hugs him).  … Goodbye….  (Something sounds off about the goodbye, as if saying goodbye for the last time… Saying a final goodbye).

Zahir: (Does not have time respond to Shizen as she leaves through the portal.  He is still trying to realize what Shizen meant by the goodbye he can’t.  He has a very strange feeling as if something may happen in the future however).  Just to say goodbye like that isn’t something like you Shizen… What is the thing you see in your destiny?  (He says silently as he walks back inside the house to be with his family).

 

A few days pass for them on the island.  Life is peaceful as it is Nara’s turn to scope out the perimeter of the island seeing a small ship coming towards the island, she grabs her weapon and goes to alert the others on guard and in charge of defending the island.

Nara: (Sees Zahir and Raku chatting with each other and goes over to alert them with a serious expression).  We have company!  There’s a boat coming towards the island, it doesn’t look very big from what I saw.  Perhaps a trading boat, it was still too far away to see well.

Zahir and Raku: (Shake their heads as they head out to the makeshift watch tower, they made so they can have a better overview of the sea).

Nara: I will be there after I alert the others.  Tell me if anything goes wrong.  (Goes to alert the others using her tail to pick up her speed).

Zahir and Raku: (As they go to the watchtower, they see a rather small green boat symbolizing the nature territory coming towards the island.  The boat looks like it has boxes of supplies filled to full capacity as it comes closer but are unable to see anyone on the boat yet).

Raku: Should we be on guard Zahir!

Zahir: Yes, we should but let me stand out on the coast.  If anything seems off, go let everyone know and they will come running but we must see first before we do anything.

 

They go onto the coast and the boat is a little bigger than they had thought.  It goes onto the shore being twice as tall as Zahir and Raku.  It is made of wood with plant life and flowers decorated on the sides making it look mostly green but with no sight of a person on board besides light footsteps heard from inside the boat’s cabin.

Zahir: (He walks up to the boat not knowing what he should expect).  Umm… Hello…?  Is anyone there?

????: (Laughs a little still being on the boat but on the deck of it.  They are still out of view being a female’s voice and very familiar to Zahir and Raku but less so him quite yet as the person says with sarcasm).  No Zahir a random boat full of supplies randomly goes straight to your island and with no one on board but thank you for letting me know I have the right island.

Zahir: Hana… You should know you send something ahead of time to let us know.  You should know by now how cautious we are at the moment.

Hana: Wait Shizen didn’t tell you?  Oh, that’s right she wanted it to be a surprise.  (Goes to the edge of the deck so she is seen wearing green simple shirt and pants for work clothes with a leather jacket as well as a pink flower in her brown hair that is tied in a ponytail.  She sees Raku as well getting a big smile as she holds a small wooden crate).  Raku it’s been a while!  Oh, that means Nara’s here!  I must see her it’s been so long!  (Gets a very excited look).

Raku: Umm yeah, she’s in town right now Hana….

Hana: I must see her!  (Jumps down from the boat and remembers going to Zahir still looking very excited).  And what about Ziona from how you look I know you’ve found her.  Please tell me what happened.  I must know!  (Shakes him by the shoulders a little being even more excited).

Zahir: Well, a lot of things happened since we saw you… But I’ll walk you to Ziona.

Hana: That’s great then the whole groups back together!  I can’t wait oh and all those boxes are for you.  There supplies that could help make things easier here, but I will need some help unloading later.  (Points to all the crates big and small that are on the boat to Zahir and Raku).

Zahir: Yeah, but now we have more in the group, but you will see after we finish helping right Raku?

Raku: (Sighs not having planned on doing so much heavy lifting today).  Yes, yes.

Hana: I look forward to it!  (Instantly is tackled by Nara in a hug her snake tail wrapping around her taking a second to figure out what happened.  She then gets even more excited as she hugs her back).

Nara: (She laughs in overwhelming excitement).  Hana, I missed you!

Hana: I missed you to Nara!

Nara and Hana: (Both giggle excitedly to each other as they jump up and down together in excitement).

Zahir: (Grins while crossing his arms).  Well, there’s the excitement that we needed.

Raku: (He joins in the hug as well since he owes Hana for a lot of things).

Zahir: And theirs the group hug!  (He grins more).  Well, it’s always a nice thing to see.

Hana: Oh, come on!  (Pulls Zahir into the group hug as well as she is still jumping with excitement with Nara).

Zahir: (He laughs as he jumps with them as well a bit goofily).

Hana: (After a few moments of hugging and excitement they settle down).  So, can I see Ziona now?  It’s been so long since the whole groups been together.

Nara: It really has!  I missed you so much!

Hana: Oh, and I’m glad your with Raku still.  Is he still trying to get you to marry him?  It’s been a while or are you still saying no to him?

Nara: Well….  (Pauses and has a slight blush).

Hana: What…?  (Notices Nara’s ring on her ring finger and then looks at Raku looking for a ring as well by grabbing both of their hands.  Finding one her eyes widening and mouth open in a little shock looking in disbelief).  You didn’t!

Zahir: They did!  (Grins at Hana and Raku does as well).

Nara: … Quiet… If it counts, I knocked him over the head and called him an idiot when he asked.

Hana: (Pokes Nara’s cheek with a giggle).  Hmm but you said yes, didn’t you?

Nara: Well… Quiet.  (Blushes while crossing her arms being a little embarrassed).

Hana: Aww I wish I could have been there.  I always knew you two would get married, but I guess it took a little bit huh.  (Laughs patting Raku on the back).  Good job convincing her.  I thought there was no hope.  (Gives Raku thumbs up).

Raku: Oh, trust me I had no hope either… But I knew I had to do it so that I could keep feeling her warmth by side and help make sure I don’t become an idiot like I did before.  (He smiles warmly at Nara while saying this).

Nara: (Can’t help but smile back and hold Raku’s hand).  Well… Your still an idiot… But I still love you… Even if you didn’t ask me, I still would love you, it’s just if it was you, I was marrying… I umm then I say yes… B-but that doesn’t mean I won’t be difficult.

Hana: (Has a big, excited smile as she watches the both of them).

Raku: Well, I wouldn’t love any more than I do now if you weren’t difficult.

Nara: I love you too… And I’m not that difficult.  (Pouts a little).

Hana: (Laughs).  You never will change Nara.

Nara: Hey that’s not a bad thing sometimes.

Hana: I guess not but we are missing one girl here.  Can I see Ziona too?  I can’t wait, I bet she missed you so much Zahir.

Zahir: She did almost as much as I missed her.  She was just crying and crying as she just held on to me… It was nice.

Hana: (As all four of them start to walk and talk on their way to Zahir and Ziona’s house).  I bet so… You two always are so cute and did anything change while you were gone?

Nara: (Laughs a little as two little changes come to mind).

Zahir: Umm I think it will be better if you saw for yourself Hana….  (He scratches his head).

Hana: (Gives a confused and concerned look).  Umm alright… Is everything ok…?  Is something wrong with Ziona?

Raku: No nothing like that.

Hana: Well alright, I still can’t wait to see her. 

 

They walk up a hill to Zahir and Ziona’s little house on the top of the hill with Zahir leading the way as Hana and Nara gossip and catch up on what they have been doing very excitedly and happily.

Zahir: (Leads Hana inside and then upstairs as he knocks on the door to their bedroom).  Ziona, we have a guest.  Is it alright to come in now?

Ziona: O-oh a guest umm alright… And yes, I just fed them, and Luka need to be burped if you can help with that, please.  Lulu needs some help to, but I can handle one at a time.  They just are very awake today.

Hana: (Looks even more confused looking at Zahir questioningly).  Luka… Lulu… Huh?

Zahir: (He opens the door to answer the question).  Yes, say hello to our kids Luka and Lulu, Hana.

Hana: (Takes a moment to process it as she looks at Luka and Lulu in Ziona’s arms in stunned pause).

Ziona: Hana…!  It’s so great to see you.  It’s been so long oh and I never was able to thank you for decorating our wedding.  Thank you so much… I-I missed you so much.  (Blushes but has a big smile).

Hana: (Still is a little in shock but it slowly goes away and turns into excitement).  You… Have babies!

Ziona: Oh, umm they are twins.  I had a few days ago… There really cute and this is Luka he smiles a lot and makes cute noises.  (Just then Luka start making a babbling sound making everyone laugh as Lulu just looks around with a shy look staying quiet).  And this is Lulu but she’s a little shy but still so cute.  (Smiles happily as she cradles both Luka and Lulu in her arms rocking them both as they cling to one another).

Hana: Zahir… You got here like a week ago… How… Wow you work quick.  (Laughs a little with a big smile nudging Zahir in the arm).

Zahir: Hey… It wasn’t like that she was pregnant before I had left… So, when I came back conveniently enough it was time for the kids to come out.  (As he takes Luka from Ziona as Luka grabs at him, and Ziona is holding Lulu and patting her back so she can burp).

Hana: (Still looks shocked but also smiles at how cute the babies are).  Their so cute!  Did you know before you left?

Ziona: I didn’t know until a week later I think… And I’m happy he got here before they came… I was so scared… And now I couldn’t be happier.  (Has a big smile as she looks at Zahir).

Zahir: I am happy as well… I was overjoyed knowing I was going to be a father….  (Smiles back).

Ziona: Even though he didn’t have much of a notice I think he is doing great with them… I always knew he would.

Hana: Of course, both of you would.  I always thought would make great parents though I’ve never heard of twin spirits… Well, I heard some stories but their so adorable.

Ziona: They really are although it’s a lot of work taking care of them, I wouldn’t change it for the world.  (As she hears Lulu about to cry as she struggles to burp from her meal still and rubs and pats her back as Luka is acting the same way, but the cries are still small).  It’s alright you can do it, no reason to cry.  (Laughs a little holding Lulu close).

Zahir: (Starts to pat Lukas back as he tries to burp him).  There, there Luka come on and get it all out.

Hana: Daw see such great parents ooh and when you come back to the main land I was thinking of opening a daycare so they can join.  Oh, Zahir what were you doing being on watch like that?  You should be staying home.  You have to new babies you must stay home.  (Still smiles coming over to look at Luka and Lulu to get a better look).

Ziona: I-I didn’t mind… He doesn’t go for a long time, and I can take care of them while he’s out so it’s fine.

Zahir: I know I have too, but I worry about the island since Agni came here… I don’t want that to happen again so I try to help keep watch when I can.  I do feel bad, but I am thankful that Ziona understands my intentions.

Hana: (She looks down slightly).  I see… Agni must have really needed something badly to go into water territory like this… Not just the nature city.

Ziona: I guess so and Zahir it’s fine I understand.  You’re a leader after all Shizen said so herself when she said she would make you second in command behind her when we are no longer in hiding… I’m proud of you so don’t worry.  Your family will be here when you come home.

Zahir: Yeah, he wanted something alright, and I know Ziona but that doesn’t mean I can’t help but want to help out with the kids because they’re my kids too so I should help take care of them as well.

Ziona: I know you will, and I look forward to all our little family moments, like now you’re helping.  (Giggles and just then Luka burps getting some milk from his meal from before on Zahir’s shirt but clearly feels better after it).  See your helping right now.

Hana: (Laughs a little from everything that is happening still wrapping her head around it).

Zahir: (sighs but then laughs as well).  Well… It’s not so bad to have these types of moments either so I’m happy with it.

Hana: I could imagine so, but you stay here I and the others will unload the boat.  You take care of your family, and I will visit later with Nara and Raku since Nara invited me to stay at their house.

Ziona: Oh, you brought supplies?  You didn’t need to; I think we’re alright.

Hana: No, it was Shizen who told me to but also I may stop here to drop off more every couple of months or years and stay a few days before I leave as well.  I may bring some poison spirits I found that survived when things were bad in the city… Some survived thankfully, I was wrong when saying that they were all gone… Is that alright… I think they deserve a safe place from what they have been through.  (She looks down at the thought).

Zahir: (Puts Luka in front of her).  Well don’t look down, the best thing we all can do is keep trying to have hope.  It doesn’t help to over worry about this type of thing as we all want a chance to live our lives to the best that we can, no matter the circumstances.

Hana: (Smiles and starts playing with Luka a little to make him smile).  Then it’s alright if they come here next time, I bring supplies?

Ziona: I don’t see why not, besides this has become like a sanctuary for poison spirits right?

Zahir: Right, so no need to worry!

Hana: Thank you so much, it means a lot, but I will be back after unloading the boat and we can all catch up together over dinner.  (She hugs both Zahir and Ziona with a big smile and makes a silly face and tickles Luka and Lulu to make them smile as Luka laughs and reaches out to grab her and Lulu hides shyly). Daw their like little versions of both of you.

Ziona: I-I think so to and thank you for everything… A-and I look forward to talking with you and Nara… All three of us… I’ve missed it.

Hana: I know but at least now we can see each other a little more often since I missed everyone so much… It will be great to catch up.

Zahir: (Smiles).  Yes, we will all eat together and it will be mostly you catching up with us but regardless it will be very fun.

Hana: Great I look forward to it so much!  (She looks excited as she hugs them one more time before opening the door to leave through it and saying before she goes).  Shizen was right picking you; you know… People tend to look up to you once they get to know you.  (She then leaves closing the door).

Ziona: (Smiles at Zahir).  She is right though… Look Luka and Lulu are already doing that.

Luka: (Is looking up at Zahir as he clings to him grabbing his shirt).  Blahba!

Lulu: (Is looking at Zahir and Luka as well but still clings to Ziona, but she is much quieter).  B… ba….

Zahir: (Looks at Ziona with a slight blush as he kisses her quickly on the lips).  Well, it’s because I have you and the kids that I love so much that I want to protect them that makes me this way.

Ziona: (Kisses Zahir back).  And I love you and look forward to seeing our kids learn that protectiveness and kindness that you always show… It’s how I fell for you even more than I already had when first seeing you.  (Hugs Zahir with one arm Lulu being in the other and then rests her head on his shoulder as Luka and Lulu settle down staring up at both and then each other).

Zahir: Well, I’m not the only cool parent here.  There’s are also you Ziona!  You’re caring and loveable and the greatest person to ever come into my life and I couldn’t be happier to share this life with you.  You may say I’m strong, but it takes a true strength to be able to carry on no matter what happens, and you do that with no regrets.

Ziona: Of course… All of that comes from you and my new family I have with you… And I can tell they will learn that from both of us… Luka already seems protective of Lulu a little… He cries when she does almost like letting us know Lulu wants something and he clings to her a lot when they sleep… And they both cry when they can’t see or be next to each other… I think they will be just like us in some ways… It really is adorable.  (She pets both Luka and Lulu’s heads while smiling at them).

Zahir: Well, they are brother and sister so it makes sense that they would be protective but I’m also happy that they are.

Ziona: And I am to just being with my family like this.  (She rests her head on Zahir’s shoulder kissing his cheek as Luka and Lulu yawn and look a little sleepy).  Just like this… It’s perfect… But I wish I could regain my energy quicker… I want to help as much as possible… And I can’t do that while in bed and having to be helped down the stairs… But at least I have Luka and Lulu here when you’re out… It’s a lot better than resting alone.

Zahir: Well, I will stay right here until you have your energy back so rest as much as you want dear.  (He pets her head to let her begin to relax).

Ziona: Thank you… That sounds nice….  (Looks sleepy as she snuggles up to Zahir holding Luka and Lulu close as well as they look on the edge of sleeping).  I… love you.  (She drifts off to sleep slowly).

Zahir: I love you too Ziona, have a good sleep.  (He kisses her head as he stays in this position to make sure Ziona sleeps well.  He then once their visitors leave goes to rest as well with Luka cradled in his arms and Lulu in Ziona’s).
