The next day is soon to approach still being a few hours until dawn being completely dark still.\u00a0 It is at the capital of the neutral territory in the spirit world underneath the floors of holding cells and the large dungeon Yami is being held in the secluded area.\u00a0 His uncle Kishi is with Adara as they trade information every few hours having not met Yami or anyone else yet, Kishi the only one to know her relationship to Shizen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Adara: (Has her face mask up covering to her mouth and nose as well as her red scarf but with her hood down leaving her long untamed wavy red hair fully out.\u00a0 Her curious green eyes scan the dungeon beside Kishi noticing how quiet and empty the area is).\u00a0 Quite an empty area to have a little boy in.\u00a0 Here I thought you only kept the most dangerous of criminals segregated like this, not a small nephew of yours.<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He sighs as he looks down with a disappointed expression). \u00a0Yeah… I never felt right about this place….<\/p>\n

Adara: (Notices the disappointed expression).\u00a0 Yes, quite quiet though with what I read about his ability its quite intriguing and understandable though I don’t believe a kid would be up this early to meet now.<\/p>\n

Kishi: Oh… You would be surprised about that with Yami.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Raises her eyebrows in interest).\u00a0 Oh?\u00a0 So, he would be up at this hour?<\/p>\n

Kishi: Well… Coming to find out he hasn’t slept for decades.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Her interest rises putting her hand to her chin to think).\u00a0 Really a lack of sleep?\u00a0 Would there be a cause for that?\u00a0 I’ve seen cases of night terrors but not to the point of having not slept in decades hmm.\u00a0 (Her mind already seems to be in thought of possible problems).<\/p>\n

Kishi: From what he has shared with me the night terrors began when the event with Izumi happened and the aftermath it had on his brother and sister.\u00a0 (He looks down as he speaks looking even more disappointed, he couldn’t help them).<\/p>\n

Adara: (The look of thought turns into one of more understanding and sympathy placing a hand on Kishi shoulder for a little comfort).\u00a0 I’m sure you had done your part to help, and I can now understand more of why he doesn’t sleep.\u00a0 There must be quite bad thoughts to affect sleep that much as well… As long as he gets energy from another source, he should stay healthy enough physically though if the trauma was too severe it might of caused a congenital insensitive to physical pain.\u00a0 (She catches herself in her mind starting to wonder in her knowledge from book in the medical field she remembers reading).\u00a0 My apologies but I was only trying to understand so perhaps could help.\u00a0 I’m sure he tries to handle it himself from what you told me.<\/p>\n

Kishi: (As he tries to fully understand what Adara is saying).\u00a0 Yeah… I guess you understand it much clearer.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Has a sheepish smile knowing Kishi is trying to follow what she means despite the blank look he gives).\u00a0 Yes, the night terrors are quite easy to figure out a cause though helping deal with those stemming from deep fears are a little trickier to help with.\u00a0 It’s something the person would have to face, though if the person relives them every time, he sleeps I would choose not sleeping as well if possible.\u00a0 It can also cause a lack of feeling physical pain if he also felt extremes measures of it in the past with the nerves sensing it becoming severed… Does that explain a little better what I was trying to say? (She laughs a little knowing she went a little overboard in her explanation).<\/p>\n

Kishi: (Surprising enough he understands what she said).\u00a0 Yeah, no I follow that much easier since it’s true I wouldn’t want to sleep either if given with that type of choice.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 Yes, not many would try to, the only way they would is if knocked out but we must be getting close to the area.\u00a0 Which cell is he in?\u00a0 I’m curious to meet this little guy that’s talked about so much recently.\u00a0 Some even thought they were talking about a monster or demon living in the dungeon.\u00a0 (She looks both ways in the darker hallway lit with torches by every cell not sure which one they are going to).<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He points towards the cell with dark energy being pulled into one cell slightly).\u00a0 Well that one.<\/p>\n

Adara: I see, well it’s a good time to introduce myself then.\u00a0 I will have to meet all your family eventually if you are going to ask me out after all of this is solved.\u00a0 (She has a sly smirk towards Kishi laughing a little as they go where the dark energy leads them).<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He blushes a little bit but shakes it off following Adara to Yami’s cell).\u00a0 Yes, yes.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Nods and laughs a little more noticing the blush).<\/p>\n

Yami: (His voice is heard from a few cells away).\u00a0 Yo Kishi you back?\u00a0 You bring anything cool.\u00a0 Still really boring in here.<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He goes in front of Adara to not freak Yami out just yet).\u00a0 Yeah, I guess you can say I found something interesting, sorry about the wait.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Is laid back on the bed casually, sitting up to look up at Kishi better).\u00a0 Yeah, what’s that?<\/p>\n

Adara: (Looks over Kishi’s shoulder in interest, Yami seeing her as well). \u00a0Oh, my he’s much younger then I pictured or shorter?\u00a0 Stunted or slow spirit growth perhaps?<\/p>\n

Yami: (Immediately sits up seeing the woman in red with red hair becoming immediately on guard as he stands on the bed with two small hidden knives ready to defend himself).\u00a0 Dude, watch it fire spirit!<\/p>\n

Adara: (Raises her eyebrows still with interest but also slight amusement dodging one knife Yami throws with ease as he keeps the other for himself).\u00a0 Oh?\u00a0 You let prisoners keep weapons too, not very safe.<\/p>\n

Kishi: Well to be fair he has a good reason to keep them also she isn’t bad… Just very… Sporadic if I could say.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Looks confused but doesn’t lower his guard for now).\u00a0 So you’re working with a fire spirit?<\/p>\n

Adara: Well, I am more there to spy on fire, the red clothes tend to help that.\u00a0 But if it makes you more trusting I was sent from Shizen to help in this situation.<\/p>\n

\"\"Yami: So, she sent you… Prove it. \u00a0(He narrows his eyes still not trusting).<\/p>\n

Adara: (Sighs).\u00a0 I assumed you would need more to gain trust; hmm how should I earn that.\u00a0 (She puts up a hand to her chin in thought as the other hand makes a vine grow through a crack in the floor and plays with it in her hand but only for a few seconds not much being able to grow in the area).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Yami: (Begins to let his guard down a little jumping off the bed as he sees the plant in her hand).\u00a0 Guess that’s enough to prove it.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Smiles and nods).\u00a0 Glad I could help sort that out.<\/p>\n

Yami: So, guess asked for more help or something if your nature?\u00a0 What’s going on, plans changing?<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He laughs nervously).\u00a0 Nope not really… Just its we will be having extra help when it comes to doing things… From what I have discussed with her… She will help keep an eye on your surroundings to make sure Agni or anyone else is not going to do anything.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Walks over to the cell bars and closer to Kishi and Adara).\u00a0 So, you really are a spy huh?<\/p>\n

Adara: I have been known to do so because of my hair color but I also was interested in meeting someone with such interesting abilities and eyes.\u00a0 (As she opens the cell door slightly it being unlocked).\u00a0 Though this place still doesn’t seem the most secure honestly.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Knows he picked the lock again looking at Kishi knowing he was told not to but shrugs).\u00a0 Hey just don’t like being locked up is all.<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He sighs knowing Yami would do that).\u00a0 I’m not surprised really.<\/p>\n

Adara: I can understand that, not a very good feeling.\u00a0 (She kneels to Yami’s height).\u00a0 You shouldn’t be in here more than a day or two more, but Kishi did tell me a little more of your abilities and the situation you are in.\u00a0 Can you come a little closer, I’ve been looking forward to seeing the abilities and solving what causes such a strong and untamed power?<\/p>\n

Yami: (Looks to Kishi unsure before moving a little closer).\u00a0 Sure, I guess… Can’t really do that now though.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Has interest in her eyes as she looks at Yami her brain clearly going through hypothesis and theories a mile a minute).\u00a0 Well, your eyes are quite peculiar, I’ve heard your father and siblings have the same trait so its most likely a dominant trait along with the power.\u00a0 The black sclera I’ve never seen really, it’s quite striking with the red iris.\u00a0 Maybe that is tied with the power perhaps if I could see another in your family if yours would be deeper in color since your abilities are quite strong even at your age.\u00a0 (She notices the light seal on him).\u00a0 Perhaps I cannot test the ability… Quite a unique seal using electrostatic discharges.\u00a0 Do you feel the pain of it?\u00a0 (She pinches Yami’s hand seeing no pain reaction).<\/p>\n

Yami: (Is clearly lost to what Adara is saying).\u00a0 Umm guess not.<\/p>\n

Adara: Ahh like I said before a congenital insensitivity to pain then most likely caused by some sort of severe nerve damage done in the past then.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Looks at Kishi with a completely lost expression not able to follow what Adara is talking about at all as she continues to talk more to herself but out loud this way).<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He taps Adara on the head as a sigh to make her stop).\u00a0 I’m pretty sure the goal of right now was to meet him Adara… Not bore him or confuse him to death with science talk.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Pouts looking up at Kishi).\u00a0 Oh, just one more moment.\u00a0 (She looks back at Yami then noticing Yami’s ears since his hair’s a bit messy and pulls on them a little).\u00a0 Oh, the pointed ears are very intriguing as well, were these caused by your powers growing with you oh and your teeth are very… canine?\u00a0 (As she has a hand opening Yami’s mouth to inspect his teeth).<\/p>\n

Yami: (Has a very annoyed and almost angry look in protest his objections muffled a bit but still yells it out).\u00a0 Hey what the fuck get your hand out stop!<\/p>\n

\"\"Adara: (Pouts at Yami).\u00a0 Now, now it’s rude to try biting, especially with such sharp teeth.<\/p>\n

Kishi: Umm… I’m not sure that’s a good idea….\u00a0 (As a dark orb is suddenly sent flying towards Adara from out of nowhere).<\/p>\n

Adara: (Instantly faces the orb of darkness putting her hands in front to make very quickly a green seal with few red symbols that makes the orb spread into a wave of it with a slight wind from the darkness dispersing as she narrows her eyes in the direction it came from).\u00a0 It’s also rude to hurl energy at a person.\u00a0 Honestly someone could get hurt.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Has a very confused look not sure what had just happened).\u00a0 What the….<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He looks towards the direction the orb had come from and gets a surprised expression).\u00a0 Kyoda….<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He is by the door what with his sword staff in one hand and with dark energy at the ready in the other).\u00a0 Well, it’s also very rude to intrude on my territory fire spirit.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Gains a smirk seeming to have an idea with the situation looking back at Kishi with the expression and a wink to stay out of it then looks back at Kyoda leaning against the cell bars).\u00a0 Oh?\u00a0 And didn’t realize this was your territory.\u00a0 I take it I’m not welcomed so what is your plan here because I have no intention of leaving.\u00a0 (She walks a little closer her smirk growing seeming a bit amused).<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Well regardless of what happened before I arrived just know you will be leaving here immediately. \u00a0(He readies four dark orbs by him).<\/p>\n

Adara: And what if I refuse on leaving quite yet? \u00a0(She puts her hand in her satchel bag slowly as if going to grab something).<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Well, these orbs do more than attack.\u00a0 (He sends one orb\u00a0forward to lock her hand in place so that she can’t move her hand and arm).<\/p>\n

Adara: (Her other hand makes a quick movement up but isn’t seen fully after staying still her eyes showing interest with a smirk hidden by her mask and scarf).\u00a0 Then I believe we are at more of a standoff?<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Well, I guess we are… How shall you proceed than Mis.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Puts a finger to her chin pretending to think with her eyes glowing green slightly and brushing some of her red hair out of the way).\u00a0 Well, I wouldn’t say it’s fair with one hand tied up.\u00a0 (As\u00a0a green glow form from something on Kyoda’s shoe making her grin more with her eyes narrowed).\u00a0 But I think it’s more than fair honestly.<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He cancels out the green glow with a sphere as soon as he notices it). \u00a0Well, I think I know your tricks now.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Sighs).\u00a0 Well maybe one.\u00a0 (She instantly makes a quick seal on the orb of darkness on her arm then gets into a combative stance moving to do a front kick to try and push Kyoda away.\u00a0 She uses hand to hand combat instead of pulling out a weapon seeming to hold back about it as her eyes watch and observes every move Kyoda will make).<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He sighs).\u00a0 Well, if you’re going to be like this, I’ll just hold you down.\u00a0 (He creates a dark box that immediately engulfs Adara and has her imprisoned).\u00a0 Well, that should hold you.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Looks at the prison she is in now and pouts).\u00a0 And here I thought we would warm up a little before getting to this fun.\u00a0 Really not very fun then.\u00a0 (She sighs and leans against the wall of the dark box, but her eyes have some amusement in them like trying to hold back laughter at something).\u00a0 Well at least I can try one other thing.\u00a0 (As a root and vine come up from a crack in the floor to take a hold of Kyoda’s legs).<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He notices and destroys the vine as he sighs).\u00a0 I figured as much.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Starts to draw a glowing green seal on the box she’s in but takes her time making this one).\u00a0 Well, you can’t keep me locked in here for long so either you let me out now or you are arresting a captured “fire spirit”.\u00a0 (She puts a hand up to make air quotations for the last two words she says).<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Well, I see you’re a nature spirit… I shall release you then. \u00a0(He undoes the prison).<\/p>\n

Adara: (Smiles as stops vines from trying to grow from the ground and sighs with a smile).\u00a0 Ah great I was wondering when that hint would be made clearer.\u00a0 For a moment I worried you had assumed your brother would have let in a fire spirit so easily.<\/p>\n

Kishi: (He looks down sheepishly).\u00a0 Well yeah… I did mention it… Just not much detail….<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He sighs as he holds his head in frustration).\u00a0 Of course, he wouldn’t tell me about your looks.<\/p>\n

Adara: Ahh well the red hair and clothes is quite fire spirit like so I understand the confusion, but I have reported to my… Shizen and Orion on information about anything I could find on Agni’s plans and whereabouts.\u00a0 They thought I could be of assistance here if I could keep an eye on things here when I am able.<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (Sighs shaking his head).\u00a0 Of course, they would send their own without notifying me.<\/p>\n

Adara: I apologize for making the situation escalate at least.\u00a0 It was amusing from some parts though.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Looks up at Kyoda scratching his head).\u00a0 Umm still kind of weird seeing a spy, I guess.\u00a0\u00a0I mean kind of screwed if someone asks you to do some kind of fire trick.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Laughs knowing Yami would be right in most cases).\u00a0 Well, it hasn’t been a problem for me yet at least.<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Because most people just presume based on looks and won’t really question it.<\/p>\n

Adara: Yes, you just gave an example of that really but if that ever becomes an issue, I’m sure I can make something work.<\/p>\n

Yami: So how long have you been a spy?\u00a0 Seems kind of cool.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Pauses as she thinks back).\u00a0 Hmm I believe I started when I was a little younger than you… Sort of.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Has a look of surprise).\u00a0 So, they sent a kid?<\/p>\n

Adara: Well not exactly I only snuck away then out of my own curiosity really.<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Well, I have heard some stories from gossip, and I remember hearing something close to that when much younger<\/p>\n

Kishi: Oh, you have no idea.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Laughs).\u00a0 Yes, I was rather independent for my age but I look forward to working with both of you and learning more about this little guy here.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Covers his mouth quickly not wanting her to check his teeth again while replying grumpily).\u00a0 Hey, don’t even think about it and I’m not little!<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He laughs a little as does Kishi).\u00a0 Well regardless I look forward to working with you as well.<\/p>\n

Adara: Yes, should be interesting but I wanted to ask about the taking darkness ability, it was mentioned that Yami cannot regain energy without it.\u00a0 This light seal that’s been placed blocks that so I assume you are giving him energy yourself correct?<\/p>\n

Kishi: Yes, I have been directly giving him energy every few hours so that he won’t fall unconscious or even worse so it’s the best way around the current situation.<\/p>\n

Yami: Yeah, stupid seal thing keeps shocking me though so gets annoying.<\/p>\n

Adara: Hmm the darkness every few hours should help at least but perhaps there are other ways as well to absorb the darkness.\u00a0 (She bites her thumb over her mask as she thinks).\u00a0 I would assume removing the complex light seal is off the table and quite difficult to explain why so I will go around that idea.\u00a0 (She looks at Kyoda seeming to gain an idea).\u00a0 Those balls of darkness you used earlier.\u00a0 They are created with pure dark energy, correct?<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Oh yes, they are. (As he creates a small one in his hand).<\/p>\n

Adara: Is there a way to give those to Yami as well.\u00a0 How much energy is in one compared to just giving him energy more manually like you have been.\u00a0 If you did this maybe, he could have some as a reserve for later.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Has a bit of a lost look again as he scratches his head).\u00a0 Umm, ok?\u00a0 Can’t really absorb it now.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Looks at Yami then the ball of darkness biting her thumb again as she thinks).<\/p>\n

Kyoda: well, I could try to subdue the seal for now since I know my sister’s symbology<\/p>\n

Adara: That may work if there’s low risk of both of you being shocked, but I don’t think that would be the case.\u00a0 (She looks at Yami as she thinks seeming to get a small idea as Yami seems more lost).\u00a0 Could you eat the darkness if compact like this?\u00a0 Your teeth should be sharp enough to bite through, but my only hope is the energy will not cause an explosion from that.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Looks very skeptical thinking about eating darkness as well as weirded out).\u00a0 … eat darkness?<\/p>\n

Kishi: (Looks just as weirded out).\u00a0 It’s ok… I’m sure everything will work out.<\/p>\n

Kyoda: I guess that could work in terms of concept though putting it into reality is a risk for sure.<\/p>\n

Adara: Yes, I’m sure they will but sometimes doing something with a risk can be rewarding.\u00a0 (As she takes the sphere of dark energy and kneels to Yami’s height offering it to him).<\/p>\n

Yami: (Takes the sphere of darkness in his hand but still looks skeptical and even more weirded out by the idea).\u00a0 So, I’m supposed to eat this thing?<\/p>\n

Kyoda: I believe so but first let me undo the light seal for a second, so it doesn’t activate while you do that.<\/p>\n

Yami: Ok….\u00a0 (He shrugs as he looks at the sphere of darkness still weirded out).\u00a0 Here goes nothing.\u00a0 (He takes a breath like a small kid would trying a strange new food then takes a bite out of the sphere like if it were an apple).<\/p>\n

Adara: … Hmm he doesn’t listen and wait until\u00a0percussions are made does he?<\/p>\n

Kishi: Not really… It’s a habit of his though, it might be because he doesn’t feel that pain much anyway.<\/p>\n

Adara: Well then, he certainly takes it to his advantage.<\/p>\n

Yami: (As he took a bite, he stares at the orb with eyes widen in surprise as he takes another bite eating like he normally would with good food with fewer electric shocks from the seal he ignores being more focused on other things).\u00a0 Hey, this taste good, why didn’t I try this sooner!<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Well, it is made of all dark energy, so it makes sense.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Has a big grin as finishes eating the dark energy but as he does this suddenly stops and looks down at his stomach as it makes a loud sound with an uncomfortable look.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Moves back a little but still kneels to be at Yami’s level).<\/p>\n

Yami: (It’s only a few seconds before he lets out a big burp with some dark smoke).<\/p>\n

Adara: (Can’t help but laugh).\u00a0 Well not exactly the explosion I was expecting.<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He and Kishi laugh).\u00a0 Wow I didn’t expect that either.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Laughs more as well).\u00a0 I suppose that would be considered a side effect but that counts for many food items for others.<\/p>\n

Yami: Worth it though… Dude you can make more of those, those are awesome!\u00a0 (He looks at Kyoda then Kishi).\u00a0 Whoa can I eat that dark flame stuff too?<\/p>\n

Kyoda: Umm no you can’t since it’s not just dark energy sometimes.<\/p>\n

Yami: What, it was awesome though.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Continues to burst into laughter).\u00a0 I believe I may have started a habit.<\/p>\n

Kishi: yeah, you may have not really the best idea but oh well at least he can eat energy.<\/p>\n

Adara: Yes, but could be helpful as for seeing other habits.\u00a0 (She goes back to directly in front of Yami and opens her hand).\u00a0 I would like that back now please.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Has an expression like he is caught off guard).\u00a0 What are you talking about?<\/p>\n

Adara: (Sighs as she takes Yami’s hand and opens it revealing a\u00a0nature seal pin she puts back on).\u00a0 Thank you very much.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Is completely shocked he was actually caught looking from Adara to Kishi and Kyoda speechless like it’s never happened or at least not in a long time).<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (He puts his hands on his hips as he sighs).\u00a0 Well, it was a little obvious from how much you looked at it.<\/p>\n

Adara: Well, it is quite shiny so perhaps its anything shiny it triggers an impulse to take it.\u00a0 Animals do a similar thing.\u00a0 (She pats Yami’s head).\u00a0 Yes, but your small and cute so I suppose it’s easier to get away with.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Crosses his arms grumpily).\u00a0 Hey, I’m not cute and don’t call me small!<\/p>\n

Kishi: Ok no need to get all worked up now.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Still pouts with his arms crossed).\u00a0 Still not cute….<\/p>\n

Adara: (Laughs still patting Yami’s head).\u00a0 I’ll take your word for it.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Is about to reply grumpily but stops looking at Adara’s very green eyes seeing something familiar about them but not quite sure what it is).\u00a0 You know… You remind me of someone….<\/p>\n

Adara: (Just smiles).\u00a0 Well, you’re more observant then presumed but I get that a lot.\u00a0 I just have one of those faces.<\/p>\n

Yami: (Pauses in confusion but then shrugs).\u00a0 Ok, I guess.<\/p>\n

Adara: (Laughs a little again and nods).\u00a0 Yes, it should be quite interesting working together.\u00a0 I look forward to it.<\/p>\n

Kyoda: (As Adara is talking with Yami his eyes wander to the flame lit torch on the side of the cell lighting the dimmer hallways area by the cell.\u00a0 He sees the flame flicker but pointed to her slightly like any fire source would to a fire spirit.\u00a0 He looks around and notices the other torches doing the same as well but does not want to cause a commotion right now.\u00a0 He leaves it be for now keeping an eye on this Adara character since how closely it would it seem she would be a part of the fire spirits but he isn’t sure, so he ignores his bad feeling for now).<\/p>\n

Meanwhile as the nighttime sky still covers the world the group camped out on their way to plead Yami’s case and bring him back to where he belongs.\u00a0 Most rest for another day of travel so they can make it to the trial for Orion and Shizen to attend in two days now.\u00a0 They have made good progress so far though rest seems a little more uneasy especially hitting a few a bit harder than others even after a long day’s walk.\u00a0 Hiki is one of those who wakes up unable to sleep anymore even with the dark night sky still above them.\u00a0 It is a clear sky, and she wakes up to see many stars light up the sky and a crescent moon giving the land at least a little light to not bump into too many things.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As she is just carelessly walking around, she finds a stump to sit on as she watches the stars).\u00a0 Wow they are so pretty.\u00a0 It’s been a good while since I had a clear sight of the stars.\u00a0 (She cannot help but have the dark thoughts that lingers in her mind but does her best to shake it off.\u00a0 Suddenly she hears Kura nearby and heads towards her direction knowing she wouldn’t be able to sleep either).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Is sitting looking out onto the scenery and sky as she sits on a rock dealing with her own thoughts as well being there most of the night with a blanket wrapped around her.\u00a0 She hears the footsteps from Hiki turning to see who is up with her red eyes glowing slightly in the dark.\u00a0 She sighs but gives a small smile as a greeting at least).\u00a0 You’re up quite early.<\/p>\n

\"\"Hiki: Well, I couldn’t sleep that well, but I’m glad I was able to see the stars like this.\u00a0 (She looks up as she sits near Kura).\u00a0 Well, I can figure why you couldn’t sleep at all.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks up at the sky and nods).\u00a0 They are quite nice… And no, I haven’t slept… Not until\u00a0I’m positive Yami’s safe and back where he belongs… Until then I’ll stay up with him at least… It makes me calm down a little somehow….<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles).\u00a0 I figured you would do that… Though I expect you don’t sleep some nights anyway just to talk to him more.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Smiles and nods as she thinks about those nights).\u00a0 Not all nights he would stay in much less talk.\u00a0 Sometimes he would go into the forest or look up at the night sky from\u00a0the roof… I usually wonder what he thinks then, but it seemed like he wanted time to be alone… I can understand, a lot has happened some I wasn’t there to prevent… And that he blames himself for… But being here with everyone is where I saw some things start to heal… So that maybe he can live like the little kid he is and have a better childhood than what he has had so far….\u00a0 (She sighs and looks down her smile fading as she is in deep thought).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She can’t help but become speechless for a second as she hugs Kura).\u00a0 I understand what you mean… Mine wasn’t the best either, but with master and everyone else… My life has become so much better.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Smiles at the hug and leans into it with a sigh).\u00a0 This group we have here is quite special… It somehow creates new bonds as well… We have to do everything we can to make sure the bond last long as possible… And for Yami and I to have a home like this… I promised Kuro that after all.<\/p>\n

Hiki: I know… And I know or I should say have an idea of what you went through yourself… So, I understand why you carry Kuro’s will on your shoulders.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Nods still being deep on thought as she looks down).\u00a0 Seeing his shadow lay there as I left with Yami in my arms… I had to make that promise… Especially for Yami… Kuro really was a great big brother after all, he kept us safe and made sure we smiled with jokes and games….\u00a0 (She sighs again as she remembers those times together).\u00a0 We both have to live on for his and our parent\u2019s memory… And here with this group it reminded me of that again.\u00a0 (She smiles at Hiki a little then back up at the sky).<\/p>\n

Hiki: Yes… They really make you feel the love even when you had forgotten what it felt like.<\/p>\n

Kura: Yes, and can’t be helped with a girl like Kairi to be contracted too.\u00a0 (She smiles more).\u00a0 I think that attitude and smile is a big part of many friends made as well… Can’t help but smile back and protect a smile like that… Think Tori would agree.\u00a0 (She begins to laugh lightly at the last part she says).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She can’t help but laugh along with Kura).\u00a0 True, true.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Laughs for a moment more but then sighs calming down to listen to the quite area besides the sounds of wildlife and the cool breeze).\u00a0 I was supposed to only keep watch for an hour or two then wake someone else to look out in place… I guess stayed a little past that.\u00a0 Do you mind doing it for me for a little bit, I would like to warm up and try and rest in a shadow.\u00a0 If you don’t mind.\u00a0 (Hiki\u00a0can tell she is tired from staying up so late wanting at least to absorb a little darkness to feel less fatigued).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles reassuringly).\u00a0 Not a problem at all!\u00a0 I woke up a while ago so I’m fine to stay up.\u00a0 Go get some rest Kura<\/p>\n

Kura: (Smiles and nods as she gets up offering her blanket to Hiki).\u00a0 Thank you, I just need someone to check the camp barrier I put up… Thank you Hiki.\u00a0 (The thank you seems to be more than thanking for this one thing as she gives her one bigger hug).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (Regardless she smiles as she waves goodbye to Kura as she looks at the sky).\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hiki hears Kura’s footsteps fade as she walks back to camp the night becomes calm and quite again.\u00a0 The glow of the moon giving some visibility around her but not much as it is too dark still to see clearly.\u00a0 The only sounds she notices is those of crickets chirping in the night and distant wild nocturnal animals as they hunt for food.\u00a0 The wildlife seeming as lively as it does during the daytime hours yet somehow peaceful still.\u00a0 She is calmly listening to the sounds that are only there at night as she smiles at mere fact that stars look so beautiful.\u00a0 She sits and listens to the nature around them she starts to hear a raspy animal sound not to close but not far either.\u00a0 The animal sounds in distress but it is hard to tell what it is from the rasp sound but seems close to a birds chirp though not as pleasant a sound as a songbird because of the rasp to its call sounding harsher than other birds.\u00a0 She gets up being cautious and follows the sound to a nearby tree.\u00a0 She gets closer to the tree as she hears the raspy bird call louder hearing it by a fallen tree branch.\u00a0 She can see movement from the other side of the large tree branch as well as a flapping sound like from a bird\u2019s wing.\u00a0 She hears the flapping sound as she also sees a hint of white feathers from the wing flap the animal seeming not nearly as big as its call would suggest.\u00a0 She hurries having a bad feeling for the animal\u2019s wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As she rushes over to the tree).\u00a0 Poor thing!\u00a0 Got to make sure their alright!<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The animal turns out to be a barn owl as the branch is trapping one of its wings.\u00a0 The owls flat face disk is white with a brown edge with dark almost black eyes and a gold beak.\u00a0 Its upper body is a pale yellowish brown with some grey becoming lighter and white with fluffy feathers.\u00a0 Its small tail feathers have a similar color with pure white feathers on it belly area and inside of its wings the same pure white color that seems to glow in the moonlight with the outside of the wings having a faded brown look like around its head.\u00a0 The barn owl looks about one foot tall, but its wings make it look twice as big when open as it tries to free itself in a panic but is not strong enough.\u00a0 Hiki hurries over to bird to try and help it get unstuck.\u00a0 The barn owl immediately panics more thinking Hiki is a predator with it rasp yet tired sound making it flap its wing more and be more difficult to free.\u00a0 She has a soothing light across her fingers as she holds the bird gently.<\/p>\n

\"\"Hiki:\u00a0It’s alright… I’m here to help.\u00a0 (After the light is used the owl settles down in Hiki’s gentle hold but still pants and looks at her turning its head many times to look at her and the surroundings quickly. The owl calms down enough for Hiki to help more with the trapped wing seeming to have a few of the bigger feathers stuck in the branch as well.\u00a0 She manages to get the bird unstuck with all its feathers).\u00a0 There you are, good to go.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The owl pauses still panting as it closes both wings close to itself.\u00a0 It stays next to Hiki going onto her lap flapping its wings for balance on her knees as she sits looking at Hiki with curious, yet nervous black eyes and head tilted to the side.\u00a0 Hiki is able to get a better look at the white barn owl with white feathers appearing to glow in the moonlight and its face cute and innocent looking.\u00a0 Its face is surrounded by a rim of brown feathers that rounded the shape of its face with a dip at the very top making it look almost like a rounded heart.\u00a0 The overall look of the barn owl seems to make Hiki pause at how beautiful she finds the creature and how moonlight reflects off its feathers.\u00a0 She sits down on her legs as she watches the owl with pure love as she appreciates how the owl looks.\u00a0 The owl continues to look at Hiki more curiously as it ruffles its feathers shaking them out while turning its head both ways at Hiki.\u00a0 It makes a few small noises, its voice not expected for its looks sounding raspy when its call is raised but better when quick chirps are made.\u00a0 It moves closer carefully lifting it head up at Hiki more.\u00a0 Hiki smiles as she hesitates to pet the owls Head but does it hoping she isn’t rejected.\u00a0 The barn owl hesitates to the outreached hand pecking at it a little but not so much that it would hurt more to get comfortable with the presence.\u00a0 It calms down after a few seconds it lets Hiki pet its head shifting from foot to foot to get more comfortable. As its head is pet it seems to relax seeming to really like it head feathers messaged leaning in to being pet.\u00a0 She giggles to the sight of the owl getting comfortable but then remembers that she needs to head back.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Oh yeah, I need to head back to the camp.\u00a0 Are you going to be alright now?\u00a0 (The Owl turns its head again up at Hiki then starts to climb up her lap using its beak and claws to do so, flapping its wings for balance as it tries to climb up Hiki using fabric of her dress and cloak to help).<\/p>\n

\"\"Hiki: Well, I guess this works, shall we head back then?\u00a0 \u00a0(The barn owl chirps a reply as it makes sure it sits stable for when Hiki starts moving).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hiki heads back to the camp with her new friend as the sky starts becoming less dark and more of a dusk around them.\u00a0 Back at the camp most still sleep it not yet dawn. One of the people waking up though not on his own is Tori who fell asleep on a tree near camp while holding Silver his falcon in his arm taking care of her during the night hoping she can recover.\u00a0 As he is fast asleep having been so for most the night resting with the falcon, he is woken up by light tugs on his hair like something is pecking at it with a light moving weight on his chest.<\/p>\n

Tori: (Ge wakes up and grouches as he doesn’t want to wake up yet).\u00a0 Yes, yes… Oww what are you doing to me?\u00a0 (He hears chirp directed at him as he continues to feel the pecking at hair.\u00a0 He also hears the sound of wings flapping with some wind from it but the falcon not moving from the spot-on Tori’s chest seeming very comfortable sitting there pecking at his hair).\u00a0 Silver… What you are doing.\u00a0 (He opens his eyes and sees that Silver is doing everything what he had felt.\u00a0 The falcon stops once Tori’s eyes open tilting its head to the side not hearing the name before but also flapping its wings with a few quick chirps).\u00a0 Yes, yes, I guess you’re hungry again but it’s good you look much better girl.\u00a0 (He pets Silver, and the falcon does a head bobbing motion in response as well as many light quick chirps as it pecks at the bag Tori has smelling the rest of the fish inside.\u00a0 He understands what she means quite quickly).\u00a0 Yes, yes, you’re hungry I know.\u00a0 (Silver chirps again seeming to have much more energy than the day before as she also goes closer to Tori wanting to be pet more.\u00a0 The falcon\u00a0also pecks at Tori though lightly as he hears a laugh from under the tree.\u00a0 He looks down and sees Shizen).\u00a0 Yes Shizen, what is it?<\/p>\n

\"\"Shizen: (Leaning her back against the tree with an amused grin hearing how energetic and attached to Tori the falcon is).\u00a0 Oh nothing, though it looks like someone is feeling much better.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He smiles as he looks at Silver).\u00a0 Yeah, it looks like it.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs a little hearing Silver chirp so much).\u00a0 I can see she is even more affectionate towards you as well.\u00a0 Mind coming down so I can look at her really quickly.\u00a0 Just as a checkup at least.<\/p>\n

Tori: Sure.\u00a0 (He heads down the tree with Silver on his shoulder).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles as she lifts her arm up to offer for Silver to land on it, but the falcon seems reluctant).\u00a0 Come on now I know you’re very loyal to him now, but you can fly back after a moment.\u00a0 (Silver still seems more reluctant making a louder chirp then pecks lightly at Tori’s hair as if to show affection making Shizen even more amused).\u00a0 Well very loyal then.\u00a0 I wouldn’t be surprised if she thought you as a mate then.\u00a0 (Tori hears the falcon chirp in reply to Shizen making her laugh again having understood it).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He laughs nervously as he pets Silver).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Sighs but still out of amusement).\u00a0 Alright now come on just for a moment.\u00a0 (She walks closer to lift Silver carefully off Tori’s shoulder, so she doesn’t fuss as much as her eyes start to glow green as she inspects the falcon).\u00a0 Well, I can tell without looking to much that she is very healthy and used to this world better now at least.\u00a0 I thought it would take a day or perhaps more, but she seems to have pulled through.\u00a0 I don’t know if going back to the other world now would be an option though.\u00a0 Its greater of a risk going through that level of weakness and fever twice.<\/p>\n

Tori: Well, I’m sure she would be happier here anyway because of how much freedom there is here.<\/p>\n

Shizen: It is mostly a preference I would think.\u00a0 Animals do not tend to think of the length of their life as much as humans tend to.\u00a0 They base everything off their instincts of where to go and right now she wants to go where you go.\u00a0 Every human and spirit have those few animals that imprint on them creating a bond like family especially when names are given.\u00a0 Very loyal and to Silver here she thinks of you as part of her flock now.\u00a0 (Silver chirps its agreement to what Shizen says looking at Tori).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He keeps petting her).\u00a0 I figured she would really… But I’m glad she thinks of me that way.\u00a0 (He smiles).<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, she’s a very strong proud bird of prey as well.\u00a0 I couldn’t think of a better animal companion for you to have.\u00a0 (She raises her arm more so Silver can hop over to Tori’s shoulder more easily).<\/p>\n

Tori: Yeah well, I’m glad I got to meet her.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 Yes, but there is another reason I came here and wanted to wake you, Chazz and Hiki as well if all three of you didn’t mind some early morning training.\u00a0 I know you like your sleep.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He stretches out as Silver flies above him while he does that).\u00a0 Yeah, I really do but what about?<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well, I guess it’s more towards techniques to hone your balance.\u00a0 It’s quite an important and needed skills you haven’t been taught yet… And in order for some things to be done its crucial to learn now that you gained your 3rd forms… It’s only for serious situations.\u00a0 (As she talks Tori hears the serious tone in her voice).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He instantly hears this tone and takes her seriously).\u00a0 Alright then let’s get going to see master and Hiki.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods and leads the way for Tori to follow).\u00a0 I already sent Chazz to a place a little away from the camp, hopefully we can meet Hiki on the way… But it is important for you to know but Nagi and Shiro aren’t here to help you with this lesson.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He looks down but then up) I know… I won’t rely on them anymore.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Notices the look Tori has missing them as well).\u00a0 It’s not that you rely on them it’s that we move forward with the tools they passed to you and Hiki.\u00a0 You’re still young and have a lot of experience to build but you hold great power within both of you and Chazz and one day that could be needed greatly.<\/p>\n

Tori: I understand… It has been my fate since meeting Hiki and master… I know my role and what I need to do.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Sighs putting a hand on Tori’s shoulder with a smile).\u00a0 Just don’t hold the weight of the world in your shoulders… It will drive you mad… Or at least if you feel it let others help you lift it up.<\/p>\n

Tori: Well, that’s why I have all these people with me, so I won’t… I’m not power driven… I’m driven by the hope that lasts in the end of our journey.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Sighs and nods).\u00a0 Nagi guided you well and I hope so as well.\u00a0 (As they are walking and talking, she notices Hiki walk back towards the camp as well as noticing the barn owl sitting on her head as she waves for her to come over).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She notices Shizen and Tori and waves as she walks over).\u00a0 Hi!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins at Hiki and the owl on her head seeming amused by it).\u00a0 I see you made a friend.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Yes, it’s a sweet owl so it’s attached to me as I am to it<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Lifts her arm to the owl to go onto her arm and get a closer look.\u00a0 She notices how young the owl is inspecting and talking to the owl letting it take a moment to get its balance).\u00a0\u00a0He’s quite a young barn owl, I’m surprised he left the nest with such unbalanced wings still.\u00a0 His feathers are quite pale and handsome though.\u00a0 (She laughs at a chirp from the owl as well as chirps in protest from Silver flying above).<\/p>\n

Hiki: Oh, so it’s a he… Well, that’s nice to know, nice to meet you Owlet!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs).\u00a0 Well, I suppose he’s still considered a Owlet or did you think of a name already, and careful Silver may become jealous.\u00a0 (She listens to another protest from Silver flying above).<\/p>\n

Hiki: I just thought of the name and why would Silver get jealous?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks to Tori then up above them).\u00a0 Some birds can be territorial of their flock or want to display it’s the dominant… I guess a better example would be asking the both of you if you got along fully with each other when first contracting with Chazz.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She and Tori are silent for a second).<\/p>\n

Tori: You make a good point….<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods as she cradles Owlet in her hands making sure his wings are tucked as she hands him to Hiki).\u00a0 Yes, but Hiki I was\u00a0wanting to run into you and go over a few new important balance abilities now with Tori and Chazz if you didn’t mind.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Sure, not a problem.\u00a0 \u00a0(She smiles as she holds Owlet).<\/p>\n

Tori: Yeah, since you got us two want to explain things a little more, or no?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Her tone changes to a more serious one again).\u00a0 Well, it’s a lesson you will need to grasp… It’s as a percussion that we are rushing… There’s no real way for me to teach you three properly however I can show you what I know from when I watched Nagi and Shiro do it.\u00a0 It may not be as successful in the first practice, but if you all put your effort into this then it will succeed when the moment is right.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He and Hiki shake their head in agreement).\u00a0 Well, it would be weird if you knew how to do it fully… But we will do it just fine!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Sighs).\u00a0 It would be wouldn’t it but at least when training with them I can tell what they have done. It will be difficult but, in the end, it will strengthen all three of your powers and bonds.\u00a0 (She looks forward seeing an open area she instructed Chazz to meet them already seeing him meditate with one hand glowing white and the other black).\u00a0 Someone’s already practicing I suppose.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She sees Chazz and runs up to him).\u00a0 Master!<\/p>\n

Tori: (He stops her).\u00a0 Shush it silly, He’s trying to concentrate so leave him be.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Oh right… I’m sorry.<\/p>\n

Shizen: You will be doing something similar but with each other’s energy to focus on and as you focus on each other’s power Chazz will focus on both your energy strengthening his abilities for a start.\u00a0 There are many ways this happens and you know quite a few already but now it’s about enhancing those abilities and bonds even more.<\/p>\n

Tori: Ok I think I get the idea.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She places Owlet on a nearby branch as she psyches herself up).\u00a0 Alright let’s do this!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs a little at how eager Hiki and Tori are).\u00a0 I’m happy you’re eager to learn then so I’ll instruct and explain where I can.\u00a0 I do know of a spirit close to me that holds two elements equally like Chazz has so perhaps I can go from that knowledge.\u00a0 (She takes a seat but let’s Chazz, Hiki and Tori have some space sitting next to Owlet).<\/p>\n

Chazz: (As he opens an eye and sees everyone while still holding the energies).\u00a0 And who would that other person be since we don’t normally see that type of thing now do we?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins at Chazz).\u00a0 Ahh well truthfully, I believe some have a second element that lies dormant within them.\u00a0 Not all and it usually can’t be accessed in their life fully if a spirit.\u00a0 Humans however it seems to be brought out sometimes in a contract though it’s very rare.\u00a0 Usually, it is very subtle like seeming stronger to another element but that’s all that it can be used for them.\u00a0 (She begins to think).\u00a0 I would guess one example would be Kairi with darkness but seeing how strong her barriers were with Rowen’s earth element it would be a guess.\u00a0 You Hiki and Tori have a strong secondary element that is brought out by each other and Chazz even further neither element being secondary.\u00a0 It’s just finding that complete balance of the two elements is where you truly reach your full potential.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She marvels at all the information but then realizes something then whispering to Tori).\u00a0 She didn’t answer at all did she.<\/p>\n

Tori: Nope not at all.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Thinks of a good start to grow their bond and energies looking at Hiki and Tori).\u00a0 Hiki, I have seen you surround darkness on your hands before I believe and Tori, I don’t believe you have tried to do that same thing as much with light.\u00a0 Have you tried going any further enveloping yourselves in the others element?<\/p>\n

Tori: (He thinks to himself).\u00a0 Hmm I have before but I don’t remember how it went.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She raises her hand).\u00a0 The last time he asked me to do that for him was on a special night… He had collapsed from the sudden change in energy.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Hmm well that’s similar to what I wanted you to start with and then have Chazz focus on the flow of energy.\u00a0 (She gets an idea of how to explain better grabbing a stick to draw something in the dirt.\u00a0 She draws a symbol of yin and yang then writing Tori’s name in the darker side and Hiki on the one representing light).\u00a0 This should be easier to explain.\u00a0 Right now, and even throughout all of your lives so far your energy has been like this where Tori, you are a dark spirit with a small amount of light that can never go away and Hiki the same is for you in reverse just like Nagi and Shiro were.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Yes… We know that but what are trying to say Shizen?\u00a0 (She tilts her head in confusion).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (After Hiki says this she smiles as she switches the names around on the yin yang symbol she drew so that Tori is on the more light side of the symbol and Hiki the dark).\u00a0 What you will try first is to become each other’s element fully.\u00a0 There will always be a small part of the other element but reversing it fully with each other.\u00a0 With your connection to Chazz perhaps he can focus and channel your powers easier as a guide, but this is a more first step into full control and trust in the others element and yourselves.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She nods as she sits down bringing Tori down with her).\u00a0 Alright we got this!<\/p>\n

Tori: (He sighs).\u00a0 She’s getting too ahead of herself but might as well try right?<\/p>\n

Shizen: It will take practice and quite a few headaches when not done correctly so take your time to focus on each other.\u00a0 (She looks towards Chazz).\u00a0 And Chazz, I want you to focus on their energy flowing through you as they practice letting go of your control of the balance.\u00a0 If they do it correctly and power flows through you in a opposite way for you to grasp then it’s done correctly if not… Well, there might be a few slight headaches for all three of you.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (As Tori and Hiki place their hands on Chazz’s shoulders).\u00a0 Alright… I will do my best to take hold of the balance.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods as she holds Owlet to make sure he’s quiet to let them focus).\u00a0 I have explained all I can at this point.\u00a0 It’s up to you now to figure it out yourselves.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Alright well then shall we get started then Hiki, Tori?\u00a0 (They both shake their heads yes as they begin their training session with Shizen overseeing it).<\/p>\n

The training session begins as the two spirits begin to emerge themselves into the opposite energy and Chazz begins to focus on a flow. It doesn’t fully seem to be stable as Tori’s energy line begins to shake around Hiki’s is more stable, but the sudden overtaking of dark energy is too much for her.\u00a0 As a result, the two spirits get knocked down by the energy collision and gain a huge headache that strains on their minds as well as Chazz’s.\u00a0 The group repeats this process for a good amount of time failing each attempt though it seems the more they fail the more they make progress.\u00a0 Tori seems to get engulfed by light energy as Hiki does in dark energy slightly more each time.\u00a0 By the end of it, it seems the two spirits can handle the sudden energy for a limited time, seconds at most as Chazz is seeming to make good progress on keeping the flow of energy stable.\u00a0 As Shizen watches she is impressed by how fast they are getting the fundamentals of the technique down.\u00a0 She watches as it nears morning and seems the group has it down, but they will still need practice to keep it stable for more time.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles and sighs seeing how determined the three are, stopping them before they try another attempt).\u00a0 I believe our camp site will be waking up now so here is a good place to stop.\u00a0 I am impressed that you can keep the element fully even if only for a second or two. It may not seem like much but I’m sure Nagi and Shiro would be proud of how far you\u2019re coming along so quickly. (She smiles more saying the last part thinking of how her old friends would be so proud of them).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She Chazz and Tori are taking heavy breaths).\u00a0 Yeah… I hope so… It was hard… But I’m happy… Now I rest.\u00a0 (She lies back).<\/p>\n

Shizen: You deserve a breather, sorry if I am pushing your progress while traveling but it’s important and you did well.\u00a0 (She looks at Hiki seeing she’s out of it and looks at Chazz and Tori seeing their just as spent from the lessons smiling with a small laugh going over to help all three).\u00a0 Well, you certainly look tired.\u00a0 (She hands them a canteen of water with a few medical herbs mixed in as well).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She takes the canteen and takes a drink before properly examining the canteen or how it would smell.\u00a0 \u00a0As she drinks, she realizes the foul taste in it and starts to cough as she spits out what was in her mouth).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Gets an amused look).\u00a0 Oh, it’s not that bad.\u00a0 It will bring your energy back faster since we don’t exactly have too much time to rest.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Well still it doesn’t taste good… I don’t want to drink more.\u00a0 (She starts to pout).<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well then you will stay exhausted the rest of the walk and I don’t think you will want to miss out on seeing Orion’s city.\u00a0 Oh, and I only have one of those with me so you will need to share.\u00a0 (She sits back down with Owlet letting the three take another moment to rest and drink).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She pouts as she takes another quick drink and gets goosebumps as she hands it to Tori who does the same but holds his nose to keep it down and finally Chazz finishes it off with the same technique).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Has an amused look at the faces all three-make making her burst into\u00a0laughter).\u00a0 Oh, it’s not that bad right?\u00a0 Just remember it’s good for you.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He, Hiki and Tori look in disgust as he throws the canteen back to Shizen as they stand up).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Catches the canteen still being amused as she stands as well).\u00a0 I’m sure you will thank me more when the taste fades and your energy returns.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She sticks her tongue out).\u00a0 It is returning now, just don’t like it.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes I hope next time I will have the time to make it taste more tolerable.\u00a0 I’m sure once we get to the city they will have more food to get rid of the taste more at least.\u00a0 (As she goes over to Hiki lifting her arm offering for Owlet to hop to her shoulder the barn owl looking at Hiki with its head tilted as it shifts from foot to foot not wanting to miss its jump to Hiki).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles as the barn owl lands on her shoulder).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles as well).\u00a0 Quite a interesting friend you’ve found.\u00a0 He’s still juvenile so I’m surprised he left the nest so soon.\u00a0 He doesn’t act very wild though so he might be a runt.\u00a0 They tend to not be cared for as well but not on purpose.\u00a0 It’s just the bigger sibling\u2019s push.\u00a0 They usually develop slower at least so that might be why he acts quite innocent and a little unknowing of danger like a child.\u00a0 (As she says this the Owl bobs its head from side to side looking at Hiki and tilting its head to the side curiously).<\/p>\n

\"\"Hiki: Well regardless I’m hoping I can train him well and I think he is attached to me like Silver is to you Tori.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He laughs a bit nervously as he sees Silver fly around).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks up at Silver).\u00a0 Yes, she doesn’t seem so happy about not being the only bird of the group.\u00a0 Very intimidated wanting to be leader of its flock.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Well, I hope the two of them can get along fine… Well, I at least hope so.<\/p>\n

Shizen: They just need to get to know each other is all.\u00a0 Like I said before, both you and Tori needed to do the same at first and these exercises help that bond even more as well.\u00a0 A next exercise once you’re comfortable with this one Nagi and Shiro had done quite a lot in combat.\u00a0 It’s trusting the other to hold both your and their energies stably and switching out when needed so as one fights.\u00a0 It’s as if both but with one physical being taking control of both energies at a time, though it does leave the other a bit more defenseless.<\/p>\n

Tori: Alright we can do that next time we have a chance but for right now can you just try to explain it exactly as it seems\u00a0everyone is starting to wake up.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, we need to pack up camp and get ready.\u00a0 Just promise to practice when chances are given but for now let’s focus on the city and our travels to the capital, worry about training later on.<\/p>\n

Tori: Of course, but I think I need to help master up since it seems he’s wheezy.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He looks very dizzy trying to stay upright at the moment).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles and sighs as she kneels to help Chazz swinging one of his arms around her shoulders to help support him).\u00a0 \u00a0Need some help getting back?\u00a0 I can turn into an animal form to carry you.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He shakes his hand).\u00a0 No, no I just need to fully digest the drink… Give me one second.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Sighs again shaking her head but still smiles as she starts to glow green going into her wolf form and using her mouth to pull Chazz up bending down so he’s on her back to carry him). \u00a0If help is needed don’t be stubborn… Bad advice coming from me but still you did well so conserve your energy.\u00a0 (She looks at Hiki and Tori next seeing they\u2019re still a bit worn as well).\u00a0 Would you like a lift as well.\u00a0 I believe I could manage.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He struggles to fight back but knows she is right).\u00a0 Alright….<\/p>\n

Hiki: Sure, if you don’t mind Shizen.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well for putting so much effort into your training just now I don’t mind at all.\u00a0 Just try not to fall off at least, the herbs don’t take full effect right away.\u00a0 (She goes in-between Hiki and Tori letting them figure out how they will sit, bending down to help them climb up better or at least lean on her).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She immediately goes by Chazz and lays on his back as Tori goes by Shizen’s head and lays by her neck).<\/p>\n

Tori: I’ll be laying here if you don’t mind Shizen.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs shaking her head).\u00a0 I would think that is a wise choice, I wouldn’t want to get in the middle of that either but just hold on for now.\u00a0 I wouldn’t want anyone falling off now.<\/p>\n

Tori: Yeah, I would rather not get in the middle of all of that so I’ll rest here and ok we’ll be careful.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (She laughs as she starts to head back to the camp with a little morning fog as the sky starts to lighten bringing a sign of the new day).<\/p>\n

All four head back making it in short time because of Shizen as they see most of the camp already being up all except Jennifer.\u00a0 Kairi is against a rock with a pad of paper and some of her pencils on the ground she uses with Orion looking over seeming curious about whatever Kairi is drawing.\u00a0 Kura is helping Rowen with the fire trying to make something for breakfast from any leftovers they have.\u00a0 The camp still seems to be quiet with people mostly not being fully awake but its Rowen who notices the big grey wolf instantly knowing its Shizen but also more concerning the three on her back looking completely worn out.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He smirks as sees Shizen, standing up as he heads towards them getting near the edge of camp as he waves).\u00a0 \u00a0Well, it seems those three didn’t sleep so well Shizen.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs going over to Rowen).\u00a0 You could say that or more towards a few early morning exorcises.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Has a look of concern for Chazz, Hiki and Tori).\u00a0 Are you three alright?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Takes notice as well but being further away she’s more confused to why the three are on Shizen back with Chazz looking the most out of it almost being asleep).<\/p>\n

Tori: We just did some type of morning training and it had more of a toll on master than us, so he is just resting for right now.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, the medicine should kick in a few more minutes than you will feel more refreshed for the day but for now Rowen I hope you don’t mind carrying your apprentice off my back and somewhere more comfortable?<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He bows).\u00a0 Why yes of course.\u00a0 (He makes rock stairs for the three as he grabs Chazz and carries him down to the tent Jennifer is in to rest).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Goes over to both Hiki and Tori to offer help to them as well).\u00a0 I can help you as well if you would like.\u00a0 I also am making breakfast from our leftover ingredients if eating something would help.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Has an amused look as she lies down still in her wolf form).\u00a0 I believe it would get the bad taste out of their mouths.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Gains a very confused look to what Shizen is talking about).<\/p>\n

Hiki: Yes, please actual food!\u00a0 But no, no we should be fine, just a little tired.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Picks up her pencils and drawing pad to go over and see what’s going on with Orion getting up to talk with Rowen).\u00a0 Good morning!\u00a0 Where did-…?\u00a0 (She cuts her sentence off her eyes widening in awe at the foot tall white barn owl on Hiki’s shoulder being in awe of it).<\/p>\n

\"\"Tori: (He gets up and sees that Kairi is at a standstill.\u00a0 He walks over to her and waves his hands in front of Kairi).\u00a0 Hello, Mis\u00a0Kairi you there?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Snaps out of the daze a little more but still has a look of awe at the owl as it tilts it head to the side curiously at her with its innocent expression).\u00a0 That owl is so cute….<\/p>\n

Tori: (He realizes what she is talking about).\u00a0 Ahh that’s what you’re looking at.\u00a0 Yeah, that’s Owlet, it seems Hiki has a new friend like how I have Silver.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Wow really… She is beautiful, does that mean it’s coming with us.\u00a0 (Her eyes sparkle at having another animal come with).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs at how mystified Kairi is with the owl).\u00a0 I believe the correct term is handsome but yes, I believe the two chose each other as a companion like Silver with Tori.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She scratches her head remembering on how she met Owlet earlier).\u00a0 Well, it wasn’t easy I will say that at least.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Wow really?\u00a0 Where did you find it?\u00a0 Is it like your pet now?\u00a0 (She goes closer to Hiki looking up at the barn owl in wonder).\u00a0 Whoa it looks just like you.\u00a0 (She reaches her hand out to pet the owl carefully not wanting to scare it).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As she smiles).\u00a0 Well, I don’t think we look alike but the idea is there.\u00a0 Just be careful Kairi, Owlet is still a child according to Shizen<\/p>\n

Shizen: You can tell by some of the soft down feathers on the bottom that he’s not quite a mature barn owl yet.\u00a0 (As they are talking, they hear a caw from above and Tori feels Silver swoop onto his shoulder but feathers puffed out territorial and defensively at Owlet).<\/p>\n

\"\"Hiki: (She gets a little protective of Owlet).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He pets Silver).\u00a0 Now calm down you, no need to be acting like that.\u00a0 (Silver continues to puff out at Owlet, its wings open to make her look bigger and more intimidating as it makes a clicking sound with its beak.\u00a0 Owlet on the other hand sways it head tilting it back and forth looking at Silver.\u00a0 As he does this, he tries to follow what Silver is doing back in a learning fashion being more curious at the new bird then anything even making the clicking notice with its beak making Silver try to puff its feathers out more but also tilt its head back at him).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks between the two birds in interest noting how Owlet is more curious and friendly at Silver and how it is confusing the falcon as well).\u00a0 … Quite an odd one.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He comes back after putting Chazz down with Jennifer).\u00a0 Whatever do you mean Shizen?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Goes over to Rowen sitting next to him as she watches the two birds).\u00a0 The owl for its age should know basic defensive moves like this by instinct more but this one seems a little odd.\u00a0 Like it was sheltered or domesticated which isn’t possible since I asked it if so and no, just from a nest.\u00a0 I suppose its learning these things a little later, I bet it isn’t even used to flight fully quite yet.\u00a0 Perhaps a little more practice.\u00a0 Barn owls are quite curious predatory birds to be honest they act like cats in some ways.\u00a0 (She watches and listens to the bird\u2019s conversation with more interest).<\/p>\n

Orion: (Walks up to stand beside Shizen and Rowen).\u00a0 Well could have him practice with Tori since he needs to do that anyway… However, I’m not sure how well Silver will be ok with that.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs a little).\u00a0 Well Silver is just stating that she is the lead of her flock and more dominant, but Owlet seems more concerned with greeting the new bird and imitating in the greeting.\u00a0 Silver seems to be a very proud and independent type of bird as Owlet acts more dependant, curious with the barn owl\u2019s innocent look so I’m sure eventually Silver will accept and take him under her wing.\u00a0 Though yes sharing flight time with Tori may cause issues.\u00a0 (As they see Silver jump off Tori’s shoulder and onto a branch cawing loudly at Owlet as he jumps off Hiki’s shoulder though a bit more clumsily needed to flap its wings a few more times to keep balance).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (Starts to worry as she gets close to Owlet to catch him if need be).<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, it’s a huge thought of those two getting used to each other and for Silver to drop her constant guard.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well, this first meeting should determine that, she hasn’t been around too many other predatory birds so it’s some adjustment.\u00a0 (Silver caws proudly and loudly again as Owlet shifts from foot to foot as it bobs its head clapping its beak as if getting ready to do its owl loud caw making Shizen remember something knowing what’s coming looking at both Orion and Rowen).\u00a0 Oh, right Barn Owl, you may want to plug your ears for this.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He and Rowen follow Shizen advice while being unsure on why they must do this.\u00a0 As both plug their ears, they see Owlet inhale to caw back but what comes out is completely different from any other bird call.\u00a0 The sound is an ear piercing\u00a0harsh scream like sound that lasts about 4 seconds.\u00a0 Silver instantly flaps its wings backwards being completely taken off guard falling over into Tori’s feet).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Can feel the sound vibrate in her ears trying to cover them with a surprised squeak too shocked to try and say anything else).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Covers her ears like Kairi as she cringes at the harsh sound).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He catches Silver as he blocks his ears as well as it seems Hiki expected this as well and is covering her own ears).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (As Owlet ends his call, she sighs having to go back into her normal human form, so her ears are less sensitive as she watches the ones surrounding Owlet be in shock still.\u00a0 She looks at Rowen and Orion with a grin).\u00a0 Well… That is the call of a barn owl.\u00a0 Quite a beautiful bird call wouldn’t you say?<\/p>\n

Hiki: Yeah, he still is just dealing with that is hard but overall, he’s a good bird.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs as Owlet looks around with its innocent stare again).\u00a0 Well, that is its normal sound as well as chirps and hissing.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Still has her hands covering her ears just in case there is more sound).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Careful uncovers her ears but still is completely surprised). \u00a0That sound was from that small, cute owl… Is it in severe pain?<\/p>\n

Tori: (As Silver is a bit disoriented in his hold being completely taken off guard by the sound, he pets Silver as she recovers).\u00a0Yeah, I see that and no I don’t think it’s in pain just seems more decisive.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, they tend to not use that call unless as a warning or provoked so they tend to stay quieter otherwise.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Carefully let’s go of her ears slowly).\u00a0 He really did that sounds like a giant scary birdie… But it is so cute.\u00a0 (As Owlet turns its head behind it completely to look at Hiki with its cute innocent start as if asking if it did well).<\/p>\n

Hiki: Yes… He really is cute… I like him a lot, he is so cute.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tori: Well at least you can stay connected to him then.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, though he does need training and perhaps an adjustment to its sleeping since wild ones are nocturnal silent hunters.\u00a0 Their eyesight and hearing are good in both though just need to be adjusted.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Pouts a little).\u00a0 But everyone gets a cute animal companion, can I have one too?<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, I’m sure you did have one when we passed many animals in the forest.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He laughs).\u00a0 Yeah, you’re right but it’s still a nice gesture.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Maybe when we head back, we can say hi to them again.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Silver\u00a0seems to have gotten out of its daze and hops back on the ground next to Owlet with a few small chirps seeming to have regained herself.\u00a0 Owlet bobs and tilts its head towards Silver curiously as she just looks away chirps making sure she is the taller one which isn’t too difficult.\u00a0 Owlet tries to do a light peck as a greeting like Silver had done to Tori earlier, but Silver quickly pecks it away and looks away independently though at least not being as harsh as before letting Owlet watch and look around by her.<\/p>\n

\"\"Rowen: Well, it seems she has accepted him in her own special way… It is very nice to see that.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, though she’s quite a stubborn girl, it will take more time but as long as she states she the boss.<\/p>\n

Kura: We should probably start getting packed to head out though since it’s almost sunrise.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks at the sky noticing as well).\u00a0 Ahh yes, your right.\u00a0 (She then looks over to Chazz and Jennifer still sleeping as seems Chazz is cuddled up to her now in her sleep).\u00a0 Child can sleep through that then\u00a0she must have exhausted her mind more than I thought last night… But they do seem comfortable, should be interesting waking them up.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Ahh right. I must wake those two up but maybe this will work.\u00a0 (He shakes the ground under the tent knowing it will wake up Jennifer since more than likely she is almost awake).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs looking back as she waits for a response to the small earthquake).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is asleep in the tent, having had a good night’s rest being a sound sleeper especially from pushing her power as she snuggles up to what she thinks is some sort of warm large pillow.\u00a0 Her eyes start to flutter open with blurred vision her body feeling the earth shake under her but is not fully awake to process it holding on to whatever she is holding tighter.\u00a0 As her mind slowly wakes up more, she lifts up more wide eyed at the ground shaking but then something catches her attention even more as she begins to blush heavily processing seeing Chazz lay next to her seeming more concerned with that first).\u00a0 … Chazz?<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He is seemingly very close to Jennifer as he sleeps).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Her mind starts to rush around flusteredly as she tries to think back to how they got there and what had happened not sure whether to wake him or not but also panicking about the ground shaking though seeming to panic about one more than the other).<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He moves around in his sleep as he clings to Jennifer’s leg).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Continues to blush but seems to calm down looking at Chazz.\u00a0 Something about seeing him sleep makes her start to smile looking at him seem so calm and peaceful.\u00a0 With little thought she starts to pet his head with a small laugh at herself with a blush still).\u00a0 … He’s really cute when he sleeps at least… And warm….<\/p>\n

Chazz: Jenny… I lo….\u00a0 (He seems to be talking in his sleep).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Hears some of what Chazz says and hears her name from him leaning in closer to try and hear what he says saying quietly to try and hear what he was trying to say about her).\u00a0 What was that…?<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He clings to Jennifer more and says).\u00a0 Love… you….\u00a0 (As he rubs his face into the blankets).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has to pause hearing those words from Chazz processing having really heard them.\u00a0 Hearing those words, she gets a little teary eyed not sure what to say or what to do.\u00a0 Being led by her emotions she places a hand on her cheek moving closer while looking at his face lying right next to him.\u00a0 She continues to look at him for what feels like a long time before placing a light kiss on his lips).\u00a0 I… Love you too….<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As she was about to enter to wake up Chazz and Jennifer, she sees the kiss and leaves quickly feeling her heart become a little heavy and bitter).<\/p>\n

\"\"Jennifer: (Feels a small breeze from the tent and sighs knowing they probably should get up but looks at Chazz a few seconds longer and looking on his wrist a small green ribbon is tied to it remembering when she gave it to him when they were kids and sighs but smiles).\u00a0 Well… Maybe one day… But for now… I guess it is time to wake up….<\/p>\n

Everyone is starting to pack up to head back as Kura sees Hiki walking back with a frown making her frown in concern going up to her.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Places a hand on Hiki’s shoulder not sure of what’s wrong but gives her a small reassuring smile at least for now).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She sees the smile and smiles back knowing that feelings are complicated, but she cannot help but keep loving Chazz).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Decides to try and help get Hiki’s mind off whatever is troubling her by distracting her not wanting her to be so upset).\u00a0 Why don’t we pack our things together, we can make a nice little nest on your bag for the owl.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She pulls up a genuine smile).\u00a0 Alright… Yes, let’s do that.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Sighs and smiles back putting an arm around Hiki’s shoulder to give her a quick hug as they walk).\u00a0 Things will be ok.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She sighs as she begins to head to their things).\u00a0 Yes… They will be.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Nods as she follows Hiki to help her with her things with a small smile looking down).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Is helping pack up with Rowen and Orion watching Kairi help as well while greeting the big ostrich like birds called moa’s that nest nearby with a small laugh.\u00a0 She also looks at Tori with an idea as she calls out to him).\u00a0 Tori how are you feeling?\u00a0 Have you regained enough energy to hold yourself for now?<\/p>\n

Tori: (He stretches out his arms a little bit).\u00a0 Yeah, I should be good for a while. Why, what’s up?<\/p>\n

Shizen: Glad to hear it.\u00a0 I was just wondering if you could scout out the area while we are leaving here.\u00a0 It would help to have some eyes in the sky.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He stretches more before he finishes up with his wings being out as well making sure they are straight).\u00a0 I think I’m able to do that for a bit.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Good then we will finish up here and meet you as we walk.\u00a0 It’s always good to stretch out your wings as well.<\/p>\n

Tori: (Silver chirps from Tori’s shoulder with a few flaps of her wings as Owlet looks from where Hiki and Kura is its head tilted and a few wing flaps as well).\u00a0 Does Owlet want to come as well?\u00a0 (Silver caws quickly at Owlet as Owlet flaps his wings and does a hop from Hiki’s bag into the air though seeming a little less steady the Silver in the glide.\u00a0 As Owlet tries to land at Tori’s feet yes very clumsy, falling forward with quick wing flaps to try and regain its balance and stand at Tori’s feet).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He smiles as he puts Owlet on his back).\u00a0 It’s ok little buddy you can stay on my back if it’s too much for you and Silver play nice or you stay here. \u00a0 (Silver caws a retort clearly not enjoying this arrangement pecking at Owlet a little to make sure he knows she in charge again then takes off quickly from Tori’s shoulder).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs again shaking her head).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Cannot help but giggle as well doing a big wave as well as running over giving a very quick hug to Tori).\u00a0 Hope you have fun, tell me how it looks up there!<\/p>\n

Tori: (He smiles from the hug).\u00a0 Yeah, should be fine and trust me I will.\u00a0 Are you ready Owlet?\u00a0 (Owlet flaps his wing with a lighter chirp then a little louder looking at Hiki trying to get her attention).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She looks at Owlet and smiles).\u00a0 Yes?\u00a0 (Owet flaps his wings and bobs its head seeming to be excited opening its wings so their stretched out like Tori’s.\u00a0 She’s laughs as she waves at Tori and Owlet).\u00a0 Have fun!<\/p>\n

Tori smiles as he bends down to begin to take off.\u00a0 Owlet the tucks in and holds onto the back Tori’s shirt with his talons tucking in his wings.\u00a0 Silver starts to glide above Tori following his flight patterns as they fly away from the camp and further ahead to scout the area.\u00a0 He bends down as begins to take off in a sudden gust into the air with Owlet on his back. He begins to feel liberated in the air being able to fly.\u00a0 Silver flies above Tori still as he can see a better view of the landscape.\u00a0 Up ahead the hills and plains start to become rockier and taller with mountain area beyond that.\u00a0 The higher they fly the more the more he can feel a cool breeze in the air like a sunny fall day making it easier to glide.\u00a0 He looks around and smiles as he keeps flying with the two birds and as they fly Tori notices Owlet on his back is starting to spread his wings more in a gliding motion like he and Silver are doing though still hanging onto his back.\u00a0 He seems to be getting the idea more but one thing they notice is how silent Owlets wings are, not able to hear a single flapping sound from them.\u00a0 Silver does not seem to fly the same way focusing more on the speed of her flight.\u00a0 He smiles as he begins to glide as well trying to make sure Owlet isn’t flying too much on his own and starts to get more air as they see the landscape scale from forest to the mountains and to the far side, they are about to pass than a small sight of the desert.\u00a0 They glide through the air as there is a rocky area below but as they look ahead, they miss what looks like a large bird lying down at the mouth of what look like a den from where they are.\u00a0 They do not realize it has taken sight of them until ear ringing caw of what sound like an eagle is made and echoes powerfully across the landscape.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tori: (He floats in one place as he hangs onto Owlet).\u00a0 Uh oh… I think we made someone mad….\u00a0 (As he says this an incredibly strong gust of wind from down below comes right at him as if meant to ground him.\u00a0 The current is too strong for Silver as she falls into the current then having to dive down with frantic chirps as Owlet does a panicked harsh chirp.\u00a0 He manages to keep balance as he grabs Silver and hangs onto her and Owlet).\u00a0 I think it’s time to get going!\u00a0 (When he says this, he sees the creature fully come out of the den realizing it is a large griffin though the feathers are greyer than the one they saw the day before.\u00a0 It is looking directly up at Tori with wings flapping towards him making it harder to fly with the gusts of wind.\u00a0 He grits his teeth as he hangs onto Silver and Owlet tighter).\u00a0 This is going to be a short trip… Time to dive down!\u00a0 (Silver quickly tucks her wings on instinct for the dive like she had when training off the cliff.\u00a0 However, Owlet is more tucked into Tori’s arm looking around all angles at his surroundings as he pants from the situation.\u00a0 He takes a deep breath as he looks down).\u00a0 Well, I hope you two can handle the flight cause we’re going down!\u00a0 (He begins to do a nosedive as the Griffin begins to get closer to them.\u00a0 Silver seems fine with the dive being used to and completely focused on one thing being the griffin as Owlet tucks his head into Tori’s hold to hide.\u00a0 The griffin opens its wings wide looking very large with a body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle though greyer in its feathers.\u00a0 It looks directly at Tori cawing loudly again as it approaches where Tori intends to dive coming out of the den more, its eyes focused intently on him.\u00a0 He begins to dive as fast as he can with a white light surrounding him as if he is using Hiki’s speed with the flight).\u00a0 Ok let’s go!\u00a0 (He dives back down to the group in an instant as he drops in front of everyone with a light surrounding).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (She is the first to turn and instantly run towards Tori with a serious look places a hand on his shoulder to help him up and see if he is injured).\u00a0\u00a0What happened?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Notices next seeing Tori’s rough landing instantly becoming worried as the rest follow close behind with worry and on guard expressions).\u00a0 Tori!<\/p>\n

Tori: (He breathes heavily as the light energy begins to disappear slowly).\u00a0 Yeah, I’m fine… What about you Owlet… Silver… Wasn’t too hard of a ride now was it?<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As the energy disappears off Tori, she is seeming to be out of breath from the sudden usage of energy).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks from Tori to Hiki seeing the light energy being impressed by it but then bends down to check on Silver and Owlet sighing in relief as Silver still hides though Silver seems perfectly fine). \u00a0Owlet is a little shaken up, but Silver seems to have had fun.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Hugs Tori tightly still being very concerned too which is shown in the tight hug).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at both birds as well).\u00a0 \u00a0She’s saying that you witnessed a large bird.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He points up to the griffin circling around them in the sky).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Puts her hand up to shield her eyes).\u00a0 I was wondering what the bird talk was about, I was right about it sounding like a griffin.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has a look of awe seeing the griffin so high above).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks up at the griffin then back down to Tori).\u00a0 So, what did you do to it?<\/p>\n

Tori: (He sighs at the comment).\u00a0 Well, we were looking around the sky to see the environment and I guess we traveled into its territory.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Perhaps, the males get quite competitive in this season.\u00a0 (She realizes the griffin is about to land and looks for something to hold onto.\u00a0 She grabs Rowen and Orion’s shoulders being closest knowing he will not get forced back by the wind).\u00a0 Hold on to something!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Quickly holds Kairi tightly as she reaches for a nearby tree).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Goes to Hiki and Chazz as she looks for something to hold onto quickly as well).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He and Rowen make an earth dome to cover the group from the mighty gusts of wind).\u00a0 That should hold us.\u00a0 (A strong gust of wind hits the dome of earth as the griffin is landing, the dome seeming to hold sturdily though with a few shakes.\u00a0 The griffin makes a few cawing sounds at the dome and can feel it pecking curiously at the dome as everyone pauses and waits).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Has a puzzled look).\u00a0 And I thought it would ram the barrier… Slightly odd.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has the same odd look listening to the griffin, expecting it had been angry).<\/p>\n

Chazz: I wonder what it wants now… But why was it acting so aggressive before?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Her expression changes to more of interest).\u00a0 No… It may not be aggression… Hmm….<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has to pause as well as she tries to listen carefully as well).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He and Hiki looked confused as they look up wondering what the griffin is trying to do.\u00a0 The griffin pecks at the earth turning its head with loud chirp putting its hind legs up on the earth barrier).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks to Orion nodding for him to let down the barrier as the beak of the griffin pecks through the earth, its beak a foot away from Tori).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He reluctantly brings down the barrier).\u00a0 I hope you know what you’re doing.<\/p>\n

Shizen: From what how she’s acting I don’t think its aggression but directing its attention to Tori.\u00a0 (As the earth barrier falls Tori being closest to the griffin stands a few feet from it being about 4 times as big as him.\u00a0 It crouches down with its focused gaze on Tori with its head down to his level being almost as big as him on its own as giant wing tuck in and lion’s tail waving on the ground with what sounds to everyone like a low growling sound).<\/p>\n

\"\"Tori: (He backs up a little stiffening up not knowing fully).<\/p>\n

Chazz: I guess… It just wanted his attention because he was flying… So maybe… The griffin… Has attraction… If I am guessing correct?<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She just looks in wonder as this is happening).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Says more quietly as she watches the griffin closely).\u00a0 She’s definitely a larger female from the grey in her feathers and fur… That’s why she’s not as aggressive in temperament.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Is in wonder just like the others).\u00a0 It is so giant…<\/p>\n

Tori: (The griffin moves closer to him sniffing him with wings opening slightly towards him mostly looking over his black wings).\u00a0 Umm… Hello there… How are you doing.\u00a0 (He is still stiff as the griffin nudges his wings with her beak trying to get them to open).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Still watches in interest).\u00a0 Tori… Just relax, she\u2019s not looking at you as prey at least, she’s just inspecting you.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has a slight blush watching and listening to the griffin).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He sighs).\u00a0 Um ok\u00a0I guess….\u00a0 (Takes the hint from the Griffin and opens his wings).\u00a0 Happy now?\u00a0 (The griffin backs up a little to look Tori over crouching down with wings pointed to him as her beak nudges him making him get pushed back a little as well).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Cannot help but gain an amused look).\u00a0 It looks like you were mistaken as a male griffin I suppose.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks at Tori with confusion).\u00a0 Is that why it followed him?<\/p>\n

Shizen: It could be but usually they do not show their full interest in one in particular until they make a purring sound.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: So similar to a cat then?\u00a0 (As everyone starts to hear a cat like purring sound from the griffin).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He has nervous laugh).\u00a0 Umm Mis\u00a0Griffin… I appreciate it… But I don’t think… So, I’m sorry….<\/p>\n

Hiki: Might not be the best time for that….<\/p>\n

Tori: (The griffin doesn’t seem as phased by the rejection and continues to nudge him with her beak.\u00a0 As she does this Silver makes a protective cawing noise climbing up Tori’s shoulder while puffing out her feathers and wings like she had done earlier to Owlet).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks at Silver showing concern).\u00a0 … Silver, I don’t believe you can challenge a griffin so easily….<\/p>\n

Chazz: However, she is very territorial when it comes to Tori… So, this shall be interesting.<\/p>\n

Tori: (Silver continues to caw back and forth at the griffin seeming to scold each other with the griffin slowly backing away.\u00a0 As it backs away her ears are down towards Tori).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Sighs looking at the griffin).\u00a0 Yes, he is taken, and I know you like his wings, but I’m sure you will find another griffin that meets your standards.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He looks down as he pets the griffin).\u00a0 I’m sorry now… But I know you’ll be fine ok don’t get too down in the dumps about it.\u00a0 (The griffin purrs when pet being rubbing its beak on Tori’s wing with Silver making a sound in protest.\u00a0 After a few seconds the griffin begins to leave cawing one more time spreading its wings to get ready to leap into the air again).\u00a0 Calm now Silver it’s ok.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She and everyone else wave goodbye to the griffin).<\/p>\n

Tori: (Silver pecks lightly at his hair again as Owlet just looks at his surroundings curiously).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a look of awe as she waves still but a big smile as well.\u00a0 As they wave the wind from the griffin\u2019s wings start to rush at them harshly making Silver lose balance again as well as a few others forgetting to expect the powerful wind).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He creates a mound of earth to hold everyone down, so they do not fall down).\u00a0 This should hold for now.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She is holding herself up as she waves).\u00a0 Bye Mis Griffin.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Holds her hair away from her face because of the wind as she looks at the griffin fly away).\u00a0 We were lucky we did not run into a male one, the females have less aggression as long as they do not have young to defend.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has a look of awe still as well as Kairi).\u00a0 Their so giant and amazing….<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 And Tori could have taken it with us too….<\/p>\n

Tori: Well, I can’t do that… She has a place call home right now… It wouldn’t be right to take her away from it… Plus… I’m sure she will have another griffin to care about soon.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He nods in agreement as he begins to prepare to travel again).<\/p>\n

Kairi: I hope we get to see the other griffin she meets, I bet he will be amazing if she likes Tori.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, she will meet one in a week or so, but they usually judge at first by their wing.\u00a0 We\u2019re getting closer to the city though so let’s follow Orion.\u00a0 (She looks to Orion to lead the way through his territory as she walks beside Rowen).<\/p>\n

Tori: Yeah… I look forward to seeing the new Griffin….<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smiles as he turns around and takes up his bag).\u00a0 Alright everyone ready to go?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Skips to follow Orion with a big bright smile).\u00a0 Yay I cannot wait!<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As Owlet bobs its head and leaps to Hiki though flapping its wings still in a clumsy way trying to land on her.\u00a0 She laughs as she helps Owlet get stable).\u00a0 I guess you’re coming too!\u00a0 Happy to have you Owlet.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He laughs as he finishes up preparations on his bag).\u00a0 Alright I am already to go now.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Smiles and nods being more anxious to leave).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Starts to follow Orion as well as she looks around her surroundings curiously).\u00a0 I am curious to see your city as well, I wonder how different it is from the nature city.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smirks as he looks forward towards the mountains).\u00a0 Well, you’ll just have to see and find out.\u00a0 Hopefully Rocky is around when I get there.<\/p>\n

\"\"Kairi: (Tilts her head in confusion).\u00a0 A rock?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs, knowing what Orion is talking about).<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He laughs as well knowing of Rocky).\u00a0 Do not worry mis Kairi.\u00a0 You will like it.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Still has a confused look but shrugs skipping along in their travels).<\/p>\n

The group begins their travels again turning past the river and towards a more rocky and mountainous area.\u00a0 They start to see a road leading through the mountains, Orion pointing to it to travel on it from this point as it wraps around one of the mountains.\u00a0 It seems to be a more main path as they start to see people going the same direction as they turn with the curve of the mountain.\u00a0 As the road turns, they turn the bend and see first houses made of dirt and stone and small farms outside a great wall molded into the base of the mountain made of complete stone.\u00a0 Over the wall it looks like tall buildings rise up with the mountain with a second wall inside with mostly being the color of the grey stone it’s carved out of.\u00a0 A sliver of water showing from other side of the city with the rest of the surrounding area being green from grass and brown.\u00a0 From where they stand looking up at the tall mountain city most being completely in awe of it finding it hard to form words for it.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"Orion: (He grins as he stops walking for a second).\u00a0 Welcome to the earth territory everyone!<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a look of awe and wonder up at the city).\u00a0 It is… Giant….<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is at a loss of words as well having never seen anything like this).\u00a0 It is… a mountain.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs at the expressions).\u00a0 Well, it is carved into a mountain.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He laughs as well).\u00a0 Well, the wall is new, did you suggest that Orion?<\/p>\n

Orion: Well, I thought it would be a nice detail.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks up at the city as well).\u00a0 It definitely looks durable, I bet it’s a very easy city to defend.<\/p>\n

Shizen: The people\u2019s strength here helps along with that and most say the city was created when Orion kicked into the mountains.\u00a0 (She laughs more enjoying the reactions even more).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks up at Orion with sparkling eyes hearing how the city was made though others not looking as convinced that that is how it happened).\u00a0 Whoa you really did that.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He scratches his head in embarrassment but also doesn’t want to disappoint Kairi).\u00a0 Umm maybe not exactly like that but close.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Continues to look up at Orion amazed).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs and pats Kairi’s head).\u00a0 Well, it is quite impressive.<\/p>\n

Chazz: It is truly, I never expected the city to be this huge.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smirks).\u00a0 Hey, don’t be insulting my city now!\u00a0 (He says jokingly).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smirks at Orion as they walk towards the city).\u00a0 Oh, it’s alright though he does have a point, just watch out for earthquakes.\u00a0 Some of the people here are big and rowdy when it comes to their work being finished.\u00a0 (She pats Orion’s back as she says this jokingly).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He mumbles to himself).\u00a0 Well… At least we know how to have a good time.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well, I didn’t think it as a bad thing.\u00a0 (She continues to laugh then looks at Rowen with an amused look).\u00a0 Though I do wonder how you would handle this territory.\u00a0 You are very proper, could you handle such constant rowdiness and live without such formal surroundings and clothes?<\/p>\n

Rowen: I have been here before.\u00a0 When I first contacted with Orion, he felt it was right to show me his city and the culture it has.<\/p>\n

Orion: I only felt it was right since I was going to show him sooner or later, so I felt it was a good time to do it in the beginning.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks at Rowen with a curious expression).\u00a0 Oh, and what did you think of your elements culture?<\/p>\n

Rowen: It was quite… Amazing to put it all into short.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I look forward to hearing more about that experience later.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Shields her eyes with her hands still looking up at the city).\u00a0 I see a little bit of green in some area, do some nature spirit live here as well?<\/p>\n

Shizen: Sometimes spirits of another element stay in different territories especially with our elements since it’s so close together though some paperwork is required with that.\u00a0 (She sighs when thinking about the paperwork and reports but still smiles looking up and the little green areas in the city).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He laughs nervously).\u00a0 Yeah not… A fun process to do those papers but overall, it’s nice to spread different cultures.<\/p>\n

Kura: I suppose some cities are more reluctant to do accept other element spirits in permanently then others?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Shakes her head yes).\u00a0 True though nature, earth and water share the most as well as reports.\u00a0 Most of Orion’s reports to me are on the plant and animal life that has made it their home here.\u00a0 (She begins to think back).\u00a0 I believe the last report I received from Orion is a high increase of dog species.\u00a0 Hope the people are dealing with that well here.<\/p>\n

Orion: Not too many that I recall,\u00a0most seem to get along well having a dog or two.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Ahh I’m glad it has not caused too many problems.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: I don’t see how it would be, their very loyal creatures.<\/p>\n

Kairi: And really cute!<\/p>\n

Chazz: Well, that is true… I quite enjoy dogs and how they both protectors and family at the same time.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Yes, they are both and that’s what makes them special.<\/p>\n

Shizen: that can be true for most animals really.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks back at Hiki and Tori seeing Silver look around on Tori’s shoulder and Owlet settles in Hiki’s bag like a nest as he rests).\u00a0 How is Owlet, he seems tired.<\/p>\n

Hiki: I would believe so since he has been resting his head on mine every so often.<\/p>\n

Tori: It hasn’t been surprising really with all the flying from this morning.<\/p>\n

Shizen: It will take a few days to get used to being awake during the daytime schedule since owls are primarily nocturnal.\u00a0 Let him rest in your bag for now with the blanket nest you made earlier.\u00a0 It will help him take a nap easier at least.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: wild Owls are used to being nighttime hunters, so it makes sense to use your bag to make it a little darker and comfortable for him.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Oh yeah, I almost forgot I made that.\u00a0 (She opens her bag containing different blankets and a small pillow).\u00a0 Here you go Owlet.\u00a0 (As she\u00a0opens the bag Owlet investigates it curiously but then slowly starts to climb his way into the bag snuggling into it as if a baby chick in a nest.<\/p>\n

Tori: (As this happens Silver watches then looks at Tori pecking lightly at his hair again with a few light chirps as if jealous and asking for attention.\u00a0 He laughs as he pets Silver).\u00a0 Now, now girl you’re not nocturnal so you don’t get to sleep early but you get to see all the sights first though.\u00a0 (Silver seems to calm down but mostly from being pet).<\/p>\n

They are getting closer to the gate as they are looking around the outside of the wall area seeing people settled into small houses with pack animals like the yak and buffalo they had seen before as well as creatures twice the size but with the build of a rhinoceros.\u00a0 Its horn duller and split into two as some have big pack on their head.\u00a0 They also see other farm animals as well like chickens and goats.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jennifer: This outside area, is it like small farm area or close city suburbs?\u00a0 It looks like places where food markets would be supplied.<\/p>\n

Orion: Oh yes there are many districts of the city that have special landscapes that support different types of animals.\u00a0 It is a very nice subculture we try to persevere in these areas.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: It is certainly interesting seeing this area.\u00a0 We are not even inside the city wall, and it already feels so lively.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I believe we will go through the craftsmen’s terrace mostly and the markets square so Orion can show everyone his people’s trades and workmanship.\u00a0 Who knows he may even demonstrate one of the professions being the grand master of his element?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Her eyes sparkle again as she cannot wait to see everything becoming even more excited as she looks around).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Laughs shaking her head).\u00a0 Calm down, Kairi try not to become to overwhelmed by the new sights.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She acts like Kairi with their surroundings as excitement grows).\u00a0 I can’t wait to see it all!<\/p>\n

Kura: (Laughs lightly at the growing excitement sighing with a smile).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (As they approach the large stone gate, she looks up at it in awe noticing how expertly carved it is with griffins carved into the corners of the gate).\u00a0 Whoa this is the gate… It looks so heavy… How do you open it.\u00a0 (She tries to open it herself by pushing on it making Shizen and Jennifer laugh at the attempt).<\/p>\n

Orion: Let me help you with that Kairi.\u00a0 (He pushes onto the doors, and it opens with ease).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Still has a amazed look but also determined as she helps Orion anyways to open the gate).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs).\u00a0 You may not need it Orion, but you have a little help anyways.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smirks as the gate opens).\u00a0 Whatever do you mean, I was helping Kairi.\u00a0 I’m sure she would have had it just fine.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Pats Kairi’s head seeing the proud smile).\u00a0 I do think I saw it budge.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has an even bigger smile).\u00a0 Really it did?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles but also has a look of thought as she looks at the gate they are going through as she says quietly next to Rowen but more to herself).\u00a0 It is a very heavy door to the city… It’s completely made of stone… But it did budge… It was slight though… Hmm.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smiles as he hears Shizen plays along).\u00a0 See you did a good job.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He laughs a little to himself).<\/p>\n

Chazz: Nice job Kairi.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles proudly as Kura pats her head as well).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs as she enters the city but slowly stops as she begins to take a look at her surroundings).<\/p>\n

The city is well built stone buildings and two times bigger than the ones outside seeming to rise and go higher as she looks towards the center.\u00a0 The area they are in looks like a city common area with most people being either tall our stocky or both with the men having messy hair and beards similar to Orion’s as they go about their daily professions.\u00a0 They also can see that most wear fur and leather being shades of brown with some times hints of orange and grays.\u00a0 All the buildings in this area of the city seems to be city apartment homes and pubs with some stores on the bottom floors and booths outside.\u00a0 They also can smell something like coal burning in the air with the smoke like from a blacksmith and armory with a sweet smell like burning beeswax to help with the smoky smell in some areas.<\/p>\n

\"\"Jennifer: (Being at a loss of words she tries to describe while taking everything in).\u00a0 Whoa… It seems so… Earthy.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He grins as he laughs a bit as it seems to grab some people’s attention).\u00a0 That’s everyone’s first reaction here.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He has the same reaction but is at a more loss of words).<\/p>\n

Kura: The description fits this city well though.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a look of amazement with a big bright smile seeing the people).\u00a0 Everyone is so giant like Orion!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs seeing the reactions).\u00a0 Yes, a very tall strong people, with Orion being the strongest of course.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He can’t help but laugh as people start coming up to Orion telling him they had missed him and asking questions as he seems to be handling the group well).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles at the group of people starting to go up to Orion seeing the big grins).\u00a0 They must really love Orion as a leader here.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles and nods as some of the people greet her respectfully as well).\u00a0 Yes, well Orion is looked up to as their ruler.\u00a0 It helps when you take your time trying to get to know the people and inspire them with just how you as a spirit.<\/p>\n

Orion: (Being engrossed in the group he moves with all the citizens).\u00a0 I’ll meet you all in the market.\u00a0 Let me catch up with everyone here.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs and nods).\u00a0 We will meet you there then take your time with your people.\u00a0 (She waves as she helps pull the group away in a different direction).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (She looks back seeing people surround Orion with a big smile).\u00a0 Wow their so excited.\u00a0 Orion is a really good leader then.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins and nods).\u00a0 He’s a very strong and kind leader.\u00a0 Like when I called him a gentle giant it’s a very true statement about him.\u00a0 His people are family to him that he protects with the strength known throughout this world.\u00a0 Its why people think twice about getting on his bad side.<\/p>\n

Kura: Orion has a bad side then?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles).\u00a0 Any leader can go into a form of rage if what’s most precious to them is messed with.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Orion has spoken sometimes about when he has gone berserk… And let’s just say… It was not a pleasant day for the spirit world.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Thinks back).\u00a0 Yes, I believe he beat my record in rampaging though it’s not as often that he does… No neither of us have that record though Orion’s was close with few centuries worth of repairs having to be made.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She is nervous to ask further as she looks around the city being amazed while hanging onto Chazz’s arm).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks around as well as she keeps Kairi close not wanting her to wonder).\u00a0 I do not know what to look at first, there is so much, and it feels so busy.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Most cities are divided into sections of what goes on.\u00a0 \u00a0The middle and upper levels are where his capitol sits and central square.\u00a0 The lowest part of the cities is underneath in cave systems used to mine ore.\u00a0 There’s also a section mainly for those who work with their element to improve their craft and that area is divided into two.\u00a0 Then there’s the market where those things crafted are sold as well as a area for food. The market is our first stop so we can wait for him there.<\/p>\n

Kairi: I cannot wait to see what they make here!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: what is sold in this city mainly?<\/p>\n

Shizen: Orion’s people are masters at shaping stones and metals into usable objects, so their trade is mostly blacksmith and metal work, pottery, sculpting and other similar things.\u00a0 Some even just try farming and leather working and are quite skilled at that as well thanks to some help since every civilization needs their own income of foods and supplies.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Well, that is quite remarkable that there is such a vast and extensive culture here and it shows greatly by just looking around.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at all the shops and looks at the black smith tools as some of the people use hammers on metal on an anvil using their strength to bend the metal being amazed by it).\u00a0 Can we try that, it looks so cool!<\/p>\n

Shizen: I’m sure Orion will allow you to be his helper.\u00a0 I know he has been looking forward to doing that type of thing again.\u00a0 His elements crafts are something he certainly has a passion for doing.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well from when I had visited it was quite amazing to see him in his own… Element when it came to the blacksmith\u2019s arts.\u00a0 It is actually how I got the gauntlets I use now though he did go a bit overboard and made two more… I think he has them on standby as a backup.<\/p>\n

Shizen: He gets in the zone when starting his craft, becomes such a focused protectionist.\u00a0 (She looks at Rowen with a smile).\u00a0 I’m sure Orion taught you the earth element crafts, are there any that stood out to you like that?<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He thinks to himself trying to remember what he was taught specifically).\u00a0 I was actually interested in armor making or swords.\u00a0 It was interesting lesson, but I can do it decently.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well then perhaps if it grabs your interest, you can hone that skill here.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Ooh and he can teach me too I cannot wa-….\u00a0 (As a pottery shop catches her attention seeing the pottery wheel, kiln and other tools as well as an area to paint it once finished immediately catching her complete interest).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He sighs seeing the current expression on Kairi).\u00a0 I think we are going to see something else in a second.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs looking at Kairi’s expression as Jennifer motions for her to stay with the group).\u00a0 I’m sure Orion will teach you that as well.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Her sigh can be heard making it clear\u00a0seeming to want to keep moving her mood more down with worry getting to her patients).\u00a0 Shizen… Why not leave the city earlier since we arrived early… We don’t have time to sight see like this.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Sighs looking back at Kura).\u00a0 I know Kura… We’re just waiting for a person we will be traveling with from this point to arrive to the court together with her.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He sighs as well).\u00a0 We all know your feelings but like we said yesterday we cannot try to rush this right now.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Sighs again but nods looking down).\u00a0 I… Understand… Who are we waiting for then?<\/p>\n

Shizen: I will leave that unanswered until she arrives.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Well, we should make some progress but still enjoy the city at least.<\/p>\n

Kairi: We can bring Yami a souvenir from the market they have.\u00a0 He really likes to throw knives so maybe we can find some new ones as well.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Still looks down but sighs with a small smile patting Kairi’s head).\u00a0 He does like his knives….<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles as she grabs Kura’s arm and pulls her to nearby weapon merchant).\u00a0 Well let’s look Kura.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Nods letting Hiki pull her away knowing their right to try and bring her mood up).\u00a0 Yes… Maybe we can find a red knife… He complained it was getting duller.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks around seeing they reached the shops and markets seeing its put into sections of stone booths some being in columns.\u00a0 She can see many people carrying heavy stone and medals with ease as they stock up shelves to get ready for a day of their trade.\u00a0 Since they are in the weapons and armory area she looks as well, being amazed by the works).\u00a0 Their amazing… How do spirit weapons work though.\u00a0 I thought they just appeared like magic.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well, the magic and element need to be infused with the weapon, some of these have a element they work best in but once you connect yourself to your weapon it becomes a part of you.\u00a0 It’s also why they offer repairs here as well.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks even more amazed as she touches a sword with a wave design etched skillfully into the blade with a simple, yet flawless hilt and the blade as well is very sharp).<\/p>\n

?????: (The shopkeeper notices Kairi looking at the sword).\u00a0 Well good morning little Mis!\u00a0 You have a good eye, that sword is very precious to my craft.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks up at the man running the shop looking very strong, rugged with long braided dirty brown hair\u00a0yet with a friendly look like Orion and many others in the city she’s seen giving a big bright smile).\u00a0 It is really amazing, everything here is!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Listens to Kairi talk to the shopkeeper smiling listening to her cheerful excitement as she looks at some arrowheads set on the side.\u00a0 The shopkeeper talks with Kairi about the many weapons as Hiki is with Kura and Chazz and Tori just explore the area being intrigued by the culture of the city).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Continues to look at the booth more seeing all types of weapons and metal work but also the anvil and hammer to create the weapons as well as other tools).\u00a0 How do you make all of these?\u00a0 Can I try making one?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at Kairi, not sure it is a good idea but still smiles politely at the shopkeeper).\u00a0 Kairi I am sure he is very busy with his shop.\u00a0 Maybe try some other time.<\/p>\n

?????: (He smirks as he bends down to Kairi’s height).\u00a0 Well little Mis\u00a0I don’t mind showing you and don’t worry, its slow right now.\u00a0 I don’t mind teaching the curious.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at Jennifer with a pleading yet excited smile).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has trouble saying no to the begful look so sighs with a smile).\u00a0 Very well, I will be right here, just do not hurt yourself.\u00a0 The big hammers look heavy.\u00a0 (She then looks at the shopkeeper).\u00a0 She is not of earth element so it may be a bit more difficult to teach her.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Her excited smile grows and looks up at the shopkeeper).\u00a0 But I will do my best, I promise!<\/p>\n

?????: Ahh, I see, no wonder why she is so curious then hmm… I can show her something simple for now… Let’s see something that works with a non-earth elemental… Hmm maybe a ring?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a curious look as she follows the shopkeeper).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Follows behind Kairi as she looks around as well noticing things other than weapons made of metal on shelves like different metal sculptures, tools, kitchenware, tableware, and jewelry being both amazed and impressed as well).<\/p>\n

?????: (They arrive at the table filled with hammers and tools and small earth gems).\u00a0 Well, here we are.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at the table in interest seeing all the stones and shiny metal scraps being fascinated how each one is different).\u00a0 Their so shiny.\u00a0 (She picks up a small scrap of orangeish red metal).\u00a0 Oh, this one is copper right?<\/p>\n

?????: Yes, it is actually, good eye on ya Mis but wanna use that as the metal?<\/p>\n

Kairi: It is pretty.\u00a0 (She looks at the medals again thinking again picking up another small scrap being a silver color).\u00a0 The steel one looks nice too.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Says quietly to herself).\u00a0 How does she know this?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks back at her sister hearing her quietly).\u00a0 Orion was telling me about them, and they seemed really pretty so I wanted to learn more.<\/p>\n

?????: (He pauses for a second).\u00a0 Orion… How do you two ladies know Orion.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Oh, we traveled here with him, and he is a friend in our group.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: Yes, umm I guess a simple way to put it is that one of the people in our group is contracted to him and I am contracted to Shizen as well.\u00a0 They are both stopping at the city during our travels.\u00a0 (She is not sure how much information she should tell but still smiles politely).<\/p>\n

?????: Ahh, I see well you two ladies are very lucky to have such wonderful spirits traveling with you.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smile more at the man).\u00a0 It is quite a great adventure.\u00a0 Gets pretty wild at times though from my experience with Shizen.\u00a0 (She cannot help but laugh at the last part).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (As she’s bending the thin parts of medal trying to make something out of it).\u00a0 It really is amazing, and we get to see so many amazing things like this city and the metal and rock things.<\/p>\n

?????: (He laughs as he finally sets up a post to work with for the pendent).\u00a0 That does sound like an interesting journey you will have with them both.<\/p>\n

Kairi: It has been so far; we just need to make sure everyone stays together.\u00a0 (She seems to be having trouble making the metal bend where she wants to since the steel part is harder to bend wincing slightly when she pokes her finger with a pout).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks amazed at how easy he bends the metal seeming like he only bending a sheet of paper as well as a fascinated look at the simple yet flawless gauntlets).\u00a0 Whoa you make it look so easy.<\/p>\n

?????: Been doing it for a good amount of time now so no wonder why it looks so easy.<\/p>\n

Kairi: It is still amazing though.\u00a0 (She has a big smile as she tries to form the pendant again making sure to watch her fingers).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at the pendant Kairi it trying to make and at all the stones to the side).\u00a0 Do not forget to choose your stone for the pendant as well before you close it.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at the stones to the side almost forgetting).\u00a0 Oh right, I almost forgot.\u00a0 (She looks through the shiny stones seeing how different and unique from one another they are).\u00a0 Their so pretty and different how do I choose?<\/p>\n

?????: (He places some stones down closer on the table).\u00a0 It all comes down to what you think represents you or the person you’re giving it too.\u00a0 Generally, goes by color of the stone or the type of stone really.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at all of the pretty stones having trouble deciding picking up a very plain circular grey rock that she looks closely though a little too big to be on a pendant.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks a bit unsure and confused to why Kairi chose such an ordinary grey rock).\u00a0 Umm Kairi maybe choose a different one.\u00a0 I think that is just a rock from the ground.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at the rock still not being sure why it stands out to her, but it does).\u00a0 But I like it.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks even more confused).\u00a0 Why?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Tries to answer that herself but cannot).\u00a0 I… Do not know.<\/p>\n

?????: (He smiles as brings out the same rock, but the dull gray stone is facing towards the two girls).\u00a0 Very wise choice actually, I was wondering if someone would pick that one.\u00a0 That’s a geode stone and it’s a sort of special stone.\u00a0 Here give it to me.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a confused look as she hands the rock to him with interest).\u00a0 A geode?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks just as confused being not sure why the rock is so special).\u00a0 It just looks like a plain old rock honestly.<\/p>\n

?????: (He smirks as he cracks the rock in half with ease).\u00a0 Take another look then.\u00a0 (He turns both sides towards the girls revealing the contents of the rock).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Sits up to see better and her eyes widen getting a good look.\u00a0 The inside of the rock is hollow but with light purple crystals covering the inside area that sparkle and gleam more than any other of the stones.\u00a0 She looks in wonder at the crystals being completely taken aback).\u00a0 It is… Beautiful.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is speechless as well, not expecting the inside to have such beautiful crystals).\u00a0 That is… Really inside?<\/p>\n

?????: Yep, these are special stones that are easily mistaken for your everyday common rock and it’s a waste really.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Still looks at the crystals inside in awe).\u00a0 It is plain on the outside and beautiful on the inside….<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks as well but also at Kairi with slight confusion).\u00a0 Kairi how did you know there was something special about the rocks?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Pauses as she cannot seem to figure it out herself).\u00a0 I do not know… I just felt something about it.<\/p>\n

?????: (He grins).\u00a0 Regardless of how, you made a very wise choice.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (The smile grows as she takes one of the rocks and puts it together then apart repeatedly).\u00a0 Whoa….<\/p>\n

Vorin: (He laughs as he brings the pendent up and merges the stone to the pendent).\u00a0 I would happily teach you what I can.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Her smile brightens as she takes the geode pendant).\u00a0 Thank you Vorin!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles patting Kairi’s head).\u00a0 Oh, I was also wondering if I could buy these as well as the pendant then.\u00a0 They look like the same kind Shizen uses.\u00a0 Their quite sharp and durable looking.\u00a0 (She lifts arrow heads she was looking at before carved to look more like leaves).<\/p>\n

Vorin: (He waves his hands).\u00a0 Nah don’t worry about payment at all.\u00a0 Everything is free for the chance to teach little Kairi here.\u00a0 Just come on back if you need weapons or pendants ok… Hey you know what, I have something for you.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Seems iffy on not paying but also curious to what else Vorin has).\u00a0 Well, I still want to pay you somehow at least.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a confused look wondering anxiously what Vorin has).\u00a0 What is it, it must be as amazing as those other things you make here?<\/p>\n

Vorin: (He brings out a sword that that a mysterious stone in the middle with what seems to be a different version of yin yang symbols but in a different style as if the different element are not placed in it).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at the big sword in wonder but not sure if she could lift it as easily).\u00a0 It is very pretty; I like the stone.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Inspects the sword curiously).\u00a0 There is something different about it… Does it need a certain element?\u00a0 I am nature and my sister has darkness so it may not fit our elements.<\/p>\n

Vorin: It’s a type of sword I can’t seem to get working correctly with its special feature… It houses two energies at once, maybe it even needs three.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks even more in wonder).\u00a0 It uses more than one energy.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (As she looks closer at the sword confused but impressed).\u00a0 Why give us such a remarkable sword though?\u00a0 Maybe someone else could use it better.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at her sister getting an idea).\u00a0 Maybe Chazz could.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has a look of being in thought at the idea).\u00a0 Maybe… He does have two elements but still I’m not sure why give us so much with nothing in trade?<\/p>\n

Vorin: Well, let’s just say… I am having a feeling who ever your\u00a0traveling with could help more with using this sword than I could.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Digs through her purse).\u00a0 Well… I still want to give you something in return.\u00a0 I am not sure what currency is used here but does this count a little at least?\u00a0 (As she opens a pouch in her purse taking out golden coins some being about as big as an ounce each with seals of the kingdom she lives in, offering them to Vorin).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at her sis and then Vorin).\u00a0 Sis can be really stubborn.<\/p>\n

Vorin: (He sighs as he takes the coins).\u00a0 Well as they don’t have much wealth in value in this realm, but I will definitely put them to use somehow.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Nods with her bright smile).\u00a0 I am sure you could make something gold out of it, you are really good at that!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: Well, it is the least I could offer for giving us such great things for our travels and helping teach Kairi.<\/p>\n

Kairi: They really are amazing, especially the sword!\u00a0 (As she picks it up getting a better look at it).\u00a0 Whoa it is giant, a lot bigger than my knife!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Starts to worry if it is too heavy for Kairi).\u00a0 Careful do not hurt yourself.<\/p>\n

Vorin: (He takes the sword from Kairi and laughs as he gives it too Jennifer).\u00a0 Be careful, don’t want my crafts hurting the wrong people.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: Thank you, I will be sure to-.\u00a0 (She is cut off as she takes the sword not expecting it to be as heavy using some extra strength to lift it).\u00a0 Wow this is heavy.\u00a0 How were you lifting this Kairi.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Tilts her head in confusion).\u00a0 I do not think it was that heavy.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks confused but sighs with a smile shaking her head as she takes a leather wrap out of her bag to wrap the sword in).\u00a0 Well as I was saying thank you Vorin, I will be sure this is given to someone who will use this well.<\/p>\n

Vorin: And that’s all I could ask for Mis.\u00a0\u00a0(He grins and laughs).<\/p>\n

In another part of the market area Chazz, Hiki, Tori and Kura look at other booths and shops.\u00a0 Hiki and Kura stop and look at little stone carvings and pendants as well as a jewelry booth beside it.\u00a0 Kura seems interested in the smooth stone carving and different types of stones.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Picks up the small statues with interest noticing how much detail has gone into them).\u00a0 These are really well made and there’s so many that are of animals too.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She looks around Kura and sees a small stone with painted patterns on some of them).\u00a0 Yes… They all look really cute.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Notices some moving around in Hiki’s bag and a head trying to poke out and look around).\u00a0 It looks like someone’s up from their nap.\u00a0 Must wonder what’s going on.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She realizes what Kura is talking about).\u00a0 Want to come out for a little bit Owlet?\u00a0 (Owlet manages to break through the top of the bag and poke his head out looking every way at all the new sights then at Hiki with a small chirp).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles as she pets Owlet).\u00a0 Did you have a nice nap?<\/p>\n

Kura: (Laughs a little as Owlet does a few light chirps and ruffles his feathers).\u00a0 Even though you are not a nature spirit Hiki you do seem to understand Owlet well enough.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Well… It’s like I have an idea what he’s saying so it makes things easier.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Has a small smile at both Hiki and Owlet and then looks at something on the table she saw earlier being a simple stone pendant with the shape and features of a barn owl.\u00a0 It has two simple strokes for wings and the head feathers and eyes making it clear even though so simplistic as she holds it up to Owlet who tilts his head curiously).\u00a0 It looks just like him.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She picks up the stone and is very surprised by the similarities).\u00a0 Wow your right!<\/p>\n

Kura: (Laughs a little).\u00a0 Well maybe you should get it and find a pendant for owlet to wear somehow, something like matching pendants.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She is already buying it as Kura is talking).\u00a0 Wait what did you say Kura?<\/p>\n

Kura: (Can’t help but laugh more).\u00a0 I suppose you already have that idea in mind. (She smiles as she looks around the sculptures again and picks up a stone dragon sculpture the size of her hand with wings spread.\u00a0 It has its mouth open as if roaring on a rock down at a person with a sword pointed at it seeming to take interest in the statue with a small smile).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She looks at Kura holding the statue).\u00a0 Now that looks cool!\u00a0 Are you getting it?<\/p>\n

Kura: (Still has a small smile at the statue pausing for a moment before answering).\u00a0 Perhaps for Yami, he really liked dragons when smaller.\u00a0 He always talked about fighting a giant one… I suppose just made me think of that memory… Kuro even used to pretend he was the dragon as tiny Yami chanced him with a dinner knife… It just brought that memory back up for some reason.\u00a0 (She continues to smile at the statue as she is thinking back at good memories).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She takes the statue from Kura than buys it).\u00a0 Well, if it makes you happy than we shall give it to him.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Can’t help but smile gratefully at Hiki).\u00a0 I have a feeling I can’t say no to that then, but I hope he likes it.\u00a0 It’s not hard to imagine a toddler Yami running with a knife imagining fighting things 10 time bigger and stronger.\u00a0 He still does that now.\u00a0 (She laughs a bit more knowing how right she is).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles).\u00a0 Well, if it’s coming from you, I’m pretty sure he will love it because he cares about you a lot he just can’t say it.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Nods).\u00a0 Very true, with him he’s easy to read but still won’t admit it.\u00a0 I’m sure he will really like it though, especially the dragon.\u00a0 (She smiles at the good thoughts as they continue shopping.\u00a0 She notices though that Chazz and Tori are having trouble with Silver trying to get her to open her beak and let go of something).\u00a0 Hmm seems like those two are having trouble with Silver by the jewelry still.<\/p>\n

Tori: (As Silver is being attracted to the shiny jewelry like polished gold and silver with gems and continues to grab and hoard them with her beak.\u00a0 He manages to get the jewel out of Silver’s mouth).\u00a0 Now don’t do it again Silver or I’ll just leave you here ok!\u00a0 Can’t be doing that sort of stuff.\u00a0 (Silver seems to not pay attention to Tori only the shiny gems he collected from her being completely mystified by them following every movement and reaching for them and anything else shiny, doing the same to anything Chazz looks at as well.\u00a0 He sighs as he brings a dark loop of energy around Silver for her to pay attention as he hides the eyesight from Silver).\u00a0 Do I have your attention now Mis Silver?\u00a0 (Silver ruffles her feathers and chirps in protest but bobs her head and pecks at his hair lightly and affectionately like having done nothing wrong as he pets her).\u00a0 You’re going to stay like this until\u00a0we leave the city ok, don’t want you taking anything from vendors.\u00a0 (Silver caws in protest still seeming to pout now and rub her head on Tori’s shoulder being annoyed by the darkness).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks at Hiki).\u00a0 I hope Owlet is not taking anything as well, perhaps stay away from the shiny jewelry.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She laughs nervously as\u00a0Owlet seems to distract by everything around him looking in different angles and behind him constantly with cat like curiosity).\u00a0 Yes…\u00a0 Let’s just hope he knows better.<\/p>\n

Kura: Maybe stay away from the expensive jewelry then… We don’t want to deal with shoplifting problems more than we usually have too.<\/p>\n

They are moving away from the booth with the jewelry keeping an eye on both birds.\u00a0 Chazz is behind Hiki and Tori and is first to notice Jennifer and Kairi looking at a booth across from them though Jennifer seems to look into the crowd at same time assumingly looking for anyone from their group.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He waves towards Jennifer and Mis\u00a0Kairi).\u00a0 Hello, we are over here!\u00a0 (He immediately waves to grab her attention).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks over at Chazz having heard him and getting Kairi to come with towards them pulling her away from the pottery booth).\u00a0 Ahh there you are, I was looking for you.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a big smile still seeing she bought a bag of pottery items seeming to be for camping).\u00a0 Hi there are so many cool things and a bought some bowls to use when we camp too!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs a little).\u00a0 Well, we are at least attempting to not go overboard but so far, its small and practical things only at least.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles).\u00a0 I know right, there are tons of things here now and it amazing to see it all!<\/p>\n

Chazz: Well, we are traveling so cannot go crazy<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 Yes, we do not want to end up with bags that way a ton.<\/p>\n

Kairi: I know only small things, I promise.\u00a0 (She skips over to seeing Tori, smiling up at him brightly leaving Chazz and Jennifer to talk amongst themselves).\u00a0 Oh, Tori there were these really pretty rocks I found at a store, and I made you something out of one too!\u00a0 I made two but one I think suits you more, I hope you like it!<\/p>\n

Tori: (He looks at the pendent).\u00a0 Oh, you made this?\u00a0 It looks really well done and looks pretty good.\u00a0\u00a0Good job Kairi.\u00a0 (He pats Kairi’s head).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles with a light blush as points at the stone wrapped in steel to hold it in place).\u00a0 It is a geode, so it is like a normal rock on the outside but really pretty on the inside.\u00a0 I am glad you like it!\u00a0 (She gives Tori a big hug as she continues smiling brightly up at him).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He holds her also remembering the night they had together with their first kiss causing him to blush a little).\u00a0 Yeah… Thanks a ton Kairi.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles with a light blush as she walks with Tori).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Sighs looking at Tori and Kairi walk together trying to stop herself from glaring a warning at Tori.\u00a0 She instead smiles at Chazz remembering the sword on her back she was given.\u00a0 She unties it from her back to hold it in front of herself though still in a leather wrapping).\u00a0 Before I forget I was thinking of you when given this from the person at the shop.\u00a0 He wanted this to be given to someone who could use it well, it is a bit heavy though.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He looks in wonder at the leather wrapping that was on Jennifer’s back).\u00a0 Oh, I was wondering about that… What is it anyway?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Carefully starts to untie the leather having to put one end on the ground as she is carefully untying it.\u00a0 She first gets one end untied Chazz first seeing the silver hilt with the odd stone in the center of it).<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He is intrigued by the sword not knowing full what it will be after seeing the stone).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is finished unwrapping the sword and holding it out towards Chazz to offer to him).\u00a0 The man at the store mentioned something about it being able to contain more than one element but he never could get it to work correctly.\u00a0 I am not sure myself, but I thought maybe you could figure it out holding two elements yourself.\u00a0 Careful it is a bit heavy, though Kairi seemed fine holding it.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He lifts the sword just fine as though it feels like his original swords).\u00a0 Two energies in one sword huh… That is quite intriguing indeed.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles as Chazz inspects the sword).\u00a0 Well, that is why I thought you should be the one to have it.\u00a0 If anyone can figure out how it works, I am sure you can.<\/p>\n

Chazz: You might be right, but it would be better to talk to Shizen about all of this when we meet up with her.\u00a0 (He folds the sword back into the leather and puts it on his back).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: You are right, perhaps mention it to Orion as well since it was forged here but what do you think yourself.\u00a0 Does it look like it would work with your elements the same way that your other weapons seem to?<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He holds the sword and weighs it in his hands).\u00a0 Well, it feels different than what my weapons normally feel like.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks a little confused but knows Chazz will figure this out as she smiles at him).\u00a0 I do not believe I could be of much help figuring this out, but I am sure you will be able to.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Yes… we will figure this out soon but for right now let’s start heading to the square.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 Yes, I hope Orion is doing alright with the crowd of people to meet us there.<\/p>\n

They continue to walk as they see Shizen and Rowen with a arm around his as she holds a mug she drinks out of with a grin.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (They seem to be enjoying their walk noticing the group and lifting her mug to them as a greeting with a big grin).<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He laughs as he sees Shizen hold the mug up).\u00a0 Should we be heading towards them now Shizen?<\/p>\n

Shizen: I suppose we shall now since I found what I was looking for.\u00a0 (She kisses Rowen’s cheek as she continues to grin before taking another sip from the mug).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Sees Shizen and Rowen waving to them getting everyone else’s attention to look over as well).\u00a0 I am glad we ran into you as well.\u00a0 Did you find anything in the market?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins more as lifts up her mug again).\u00a0 Well, they do make the best mead here, always make time to get at least one.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a confused look).\u00a0 What is mead?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs).\u00a0 you’ll try it when your older but it’s like a honey wine to put simply.<\/p>\n

Rowen: And no, you will not have any now Mis Kairi.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He laughs as he is by Rowen after walking towards them).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Pouts a little being curious but nods).<\/p>\n

Kura: Are we heading to the market square now, I remember mentioning meeting Orion there.<\/p>\n

Shizen: That is if his people let him, though he should be able to now.\u00a0 We just needed to give him time to talk with them.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Knowing on how popular he is it would not be surprising if they kept him for most of the night.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I’m sure he will find a way to calm things down but let’s go to our meeting spot.\u00a0 I’m sure he will want to show off more of his city himself.<\/p>\n

Orion is on the side slowly making his way to the market square getting stopped at every stall\u00a0though he is not disappointed with it as he has been gone for quite some time.\u00a0 He sighs as he makes it to the square first just chatting with some citizens.\u00a0 The others make their way to the market square they see Orion talking with a citizen deciding to stand aside seeing how into the conversations he is.\u00a0 The only thing they do while they wait is Shizen waves at him to make sure he knows they are there as well.\u00a0 He waves back as he slowly begins the finally break through the crowd.<\/p>\n

\"\"Shizen: (Grins at Orion).\u00a0 Well, you were quite missed, I almost thought I would need to give them the tour of your city myself.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a bright smile at Orion as she waves but then a questioning look seeing he is holding a ripe medium sized pumpkin).\u00a0 A pumpkin?<\/p>\n

Orion: (He nervously laughs as he waves goodbye to the crowd).\u00a0 Yeah, may have to come back another day soon.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: I am sure it would be alright with everyone at the mansion, you are a leader after all.\u00a0 I am sure our mother would let Rowen go as well.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Ooh and maybe we can go with again too, the people here are so nice!<\/p>\n

Kura: (Smiles patting Kairi’s head).\u00a0 With better circumstances of course.<\/p>\n

Orion: It’s ok, don’t need to plan it all out now so let’s just live in the moment now, ok?<\/p>\n

Shizen: Great advice and I suppose let you take the role of guide now.\u00a0 I believe you mentioned wanting to go up to the capital.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He snaps for remembering what the plan was).\u00a0 Oh yes, yes, I wanted to show you all my home pretty much.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Gets a excited look).\u00a0 Ooh really!\u00a0 What does it look like, is that why you bought a pumpkin?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (looks at the pumpkin suddenly remembering something with a smirk).\u00a0 Oh, I remember why.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smirks as he holds the pumpkin up).\u00a0 Oh, you’ll see… He should be here in a bit.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks even more confused).<\/p>\n

Shizen: We should probably go to that area now then, he’s not very fast.\u00a0 (She starts to walk with Orion waving for the others to follow).<\/p>\n

Rowen: You are quite right, let\u00a0us make haste.<\/p>\n

Tori: A… Ok then I guess let’s get going….\u00a0 (He and like everyone else is confused on what’s going on).<\/p>\n

As they continue going up towards the more middle of the city the buildings are taller like apartments with a few shops and work areas with people going about their day with quite a few have different breeds of dogs by their sides.\u00a0 Some of the building have designs carved into the doorways and edges.\u00a0 They continue walking through the city and more towards the capital area which seems less busy everyone seeming to head towards the market when they notice a little way away something heading towards them very slowly.\u00a0 They can make out that it is some kind of tortoise about three feet long and 2 feet tall. The shell is light tan to brown in color with a yellow tan, and brown shell.\u00a0 Its legs seem to be covered in long hard scales like for borrowing and a pleasant, calm smile like expression.\u00a0 It slowly makes its way right towards them and specifically Orion.<\/p>\n

\"\"Orion: (He smiles upon the sight of the tortoise).\u00a0 Rocky!<\/p>\n

Chazz: (Has a confused look).\u00a0 Rocky?<\/p>\n

Rowen: Meet his pet turtle named Rocky, He is like a type of mascot for the city.<\/p>\n

Shizen: He has been growing since last I saw him.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has an expression of awe that quickly turns into a big smile of excitement going over Orion to see the tortoise).\u00a0 You have a pet tortoise!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Goes next to Kairi with Kura behind to see as well).\u00a0 Hello there, you seem like a friendly tortoise.<\/p>\n

Orion: (The tortoise Rocky stretches its neck to look up at them though mostly Orion moving closer seeming very happy to see him.\u00a0 He pets Rocky with a smirk).\u00a0 Hey there buddy, missed you a lot.\u00a0 (Rocky leans into the pet while slowly trying to climb onto Orion’s lap noticing the pumpkin as well).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles as she pets Rocky’s shell).\u00a0 He is so cute, hi Rocky.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles petting the tortoise as well).\u00a0 he definitely is happy.\u00a0 He reminds me of a type of tortoise called a Sulcata\u00a0I have seen in our own world.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs as she greets Rocky as well).\u00a0 Very similar although they grow quite a bit bigger, it just takes centuries to get there.\u00a0 Rocky here is quite young still, looks about 3 feet long now and what 200, 300 pounds?<\/p>\n

Orion: (He picks up the tortoise with ease as he prepares a small earth plating on his legs to hold weight easier and then places him on his lap).\u00a0 There you go, I know you always enjoyed being right here.<\/p>\n

\"\"Kairi: (Continues to giggle and pet the shell).\u00a0 \u00a0He looks so happy and friendly too!<\/p>\n

Orion: (Rocky tries reaching for the pumpkin in Orion’s other hand more as it relaxes on his lap.\u00a0 As Orion pets him Owlet rustles himself out of Hiki’s bag fully flapping his wings to hop and glide to land clumsily onto Rocky’s shell who quickly ducks his head back into his shell).\u00a0 It’s ok\u00a0Rocky it’s a friend, no need to get nervous I promise.\u00a0 (As he pets his shell smoothly).<\/p>\n

Hiki: Ahh come on Owlet don’t be naughty!\u00a0 (She starts to grab Owlet but is stopped midway by Rowen).<\/p>\n

Rowen: Just take it easy now Hiki, let’s see what happens.\u00a0 (Owlet once getting his balance stands on top of the shell continues looking in different angles at the shell curiously seeming to settle down sitting on top of it.\u00a0 Rocky has his head tucked in with his legs tucked close with the hard scales on them pointed outward being not sure of what the sudden movement was of Owlets wings still.\u00a0 He seems to slowly calm down when Owlet sits comfortably on top of him).<\/p>\n

Tori: (Silver still stands on Tori’s shoulder her vision still darkened by Tori, but chirps annoyed not knowing fully what is going on).\u00a0 Oh, you shush, you’re not getting out of that until you become better with shiny stones.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks at Tori with an amused expression).\u00a0 She may have that on her for quite a while.\u00a0 Some birds have that habit of collecting anything shiny they have, especially to decorate a nest.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Takes notice of the darkness on Silver’s eyes as well).\u00a0 I have seen it a lot with chickens and turkeys.\u00a0 They are almost hypnotized by shiny objects.<\/p>\n

Tori: I know that, just don’t want her causing problems for everyone so going to keep her like this until we leave the market.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Were almost out of the area, just keep an eye on her.\u00a0 (She looks to Orion with Rocky and smiles with a small laugh seeming Rocky lean onto Orion contently being pet).\u00a0 Rocky really has grown yet still acts like you’re his parent as always, that will never change.\u00a0 What will you do when he becomes to big in a century or two to sit in your lap?<\/p>\n

Orion: Then I’ll just go on top of him instead, I’m sure he understands that.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Still has a big smile petting Rocky’s shell).\u00a0 Wow that would be so cool,\u00a0then you can travel on Rocky like a horsey!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs more).\u00a0 Well, that wouldn’t be a very fast way to travel but I see that happening with him.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Though it would be a very interesting sight to see.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Also, would be very….<\/p>\n

Tori: Unexpected.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs more petting Rocky as she picks Owlet up to give back to Hiki).\u00a0 I can agree with that.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at Rocky still in wonder then looks up at Orion).\u00a0 How did you find Rocky?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smirks as thinks back).\u00a0 Oh, I remember this well.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smirks as well having the memory in his mind though a small hint of gloom he pushes back).\u00a0 Well, it was a normal day really where I was talking to Shizen about… Special things that I needed advice on… Well, we decided to walk near the border of the capital city it was a nice walk to clear my head.\u00a0 Along the way we had come across these strange sets of rocks that seemed out of place really.\u00a0 So I decided to sit down on one of the bigger rocks but as I was sitting I could feel one of the tiny rocks moving as I inspected it in my hand\u00a0and I… Uh kind of freaked out in a way… Regardless I was taken heavily off guard and I wasn’t sure on how to properly react in the moment but then Shizen noticed something special about the so called “rock”.\u00a0 It turns out the rock was the egg of good old Rocky here and after I was given the effort from Shizen.\u00a0 It hatched and me and Rocky immediately bonded and well the small stuff can be saved for another time buts overall on how we met.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Has an amused look as she remembers and laughs).\u00a0 Seeing that tiny egg shake and watching Orion jump and freak out was great.\u00a0 Usually there’s a parent tortoise nearby however there wasn’t one so when Rocky hatched, he first saw Orion and so no matter what Rocky always followed him.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles enjoying hearing about Orion meeting Rocky).\u00a0 He is a really good tortoise.<\/p>\n

Orion: Yeah, you never would let that go really… I have no regrets though because I got to meet Rocky, so it was worth it.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles at Rocky).\u00a0 He feels the same way, you have a great bond.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles and nod).\u00a0 Your very right there.\u00a0 (Everyone smiles back at the smiling tortoise as it tries reaching for the pumpkin again while staying on Orion’s lap).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles).\u00a0 Is that why you bought a pumpkin?<\/p>\n

Orion: Yeah, it’s his favorite type of food so it only makes sense to bring him one whenever I come back to the city.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Here’s a growl from a stomach hearing it from Chazz’s direction).\u00a0 Well then, we can get something to eat together then.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs again).\u00a0 There is a pub more towards the capital Orion always grabs food from when I visit.\u00a0 I’m sure Orion wanted to show what his culture’s cuisine is like.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He frowns from the growl in his stomach).\u00a0 Well, I was not planning on eating but I guess my stomach had other plans.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She laughs as well as Tori).\u00a0 Then let’s head to the pub, that sounds like fun!<\/p>\n

Rowen: I have been there before as well; it is a pretty swell place to eat at.\u00a0 A very fine establishment.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Pats Orion’s back as she and others start to stand).\u00a0 Yes, and I’m sure you are getting tired of only vegetables meals Orion, although they are quite healthy.<\/p>\n

Orion: Yeah, I want to have our cities shepherd’s pie again… Haven’t had it in the longest time, I miss it.\u00a0 (He has Rocky get off his lap as he stands up to stretch).<\/p>\n

Chazz: Sheppard’s pie?\u00a0 I thought meals were different in the spirit world.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, they can be in terms of ingredients in some of them though the same food culture seems to overlap in the two realms.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Many influences each other when visiting.\u00a0 Mostly a spirit visiting and bringing back what they learned whether food or clothing in the second generation of spirits or the other way around with the human teaching throughout their life that spirit’s culture that spread throughout the area through the generations.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Think for a moment).\u00a0 I have never thought about it like that….<\/p>\n

Orion: It is actually amazing if you think about it.\u00a0 One culture generates the drive to better the other just by sharing what they know.\u00a0 It’s a cycle that hasn’t really stopped.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Still is trying to wrap her head around the idea).\u00a0 So that means every element has similar culture to back on our world somewhere?<\/p>\n

Kura: I’ve learned about that a while ago from a book my aunt had given me and from what I have seen every land here is quite different for each other especially the foods and dress\u00a0of each territory.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks even more amazed).\u00a0 I want to travel to all the territories and try all the foods then.<\/p>\n

Hiki: Yes, every land has its own culture of food, it’s like traveling to a different part of your own world but maybe a little smaller.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: From what I’ve seen this world seems quite vast.<\/p>\n

Shizen: It feels like it when traveling this way but if there is access to gates between lands then the world feels much smaller.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Oh, like the ones we go through to here?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods).\u00a0 Very similar to that.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks amazed at every little fact she learns as well as the look of the city when making it to a more open street.\u00a0 She is amazed by how high the city goes and how flawless the simple stone carvings are).\u00a0 I think this place is giant though, this world isn’t small at all.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs).\u00a0 Well, this is one of the biggest cities besides the neutral one.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Is that true?\u00a0 I would think the realms would be about the same size.<\/p>\n

Tori: In a way yes, but the difference is that with your world there’s mostly water scattered in more placeds.\u00a0 \u00a0While in this one they are all connected… The water city is the exception since they need to be underwater but besides that everything is connected.<\/p>\n

Orion: Yeah, Mizu has the only city connected by a large body of water for obvious reasons.\u00a0 However, there are multiple small lakes and rivers passing through each territory and a few select number of small seas.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, Mizu does have the biggest territory, she also has the frozen land to the north of her ocean since that is water as well just frozen.\u00a0 (She seems to shiver at the thought remembering how cold it was as well as other things she pushes to the side).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Is about to ask about Mizuko’s ocean but stops once them make their way out of the street and into a more open area with big buildings).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

They step into a very large open courtyard with statues scattered around the area resembling key figures in some areas of the courtyard.\u00a0 It seems\u00a0to be more of the social area of the city having restaurants with some market stands scattered around with a small park in the center.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks around at the large courtyard).\u00a0 Whoa this place is giant and feels just as busy too!<\/p>\n

Shizen: Orion’s home is near this courtyard as well.\u00a0 It suits you quite well too.\u00a0 (She grins at Orion).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He scratches his head).\u00a0 Yeah, I did want the city to have a type of social square as for festivals and other things close to that since we can’t just be all cities.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: I can understand that, and an open area helps, I am glad there is grass though it gives more color and feels more like a park.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks around at the area walking through with everyone).\u00a0 Wow it must be great living here!<\/p>\n

Orion: Not to toot my horn or anything but it is pretty nice living here since I try to make sure everyone gets comfortable at least.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smirks).\u00a0 I would say the praise has gotten to your head, just wait until they see your statue.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Wait is it like the statue of you in your city does every city have that?<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, it was a group agreement at a council meeting, but Orion chose a more… Casual look for his rather than the serious stately poses everyone else had.\u00a0 (She snickers at the thought).\u00a0 Suited you though honestly.<\/p>\n

Orion: I could never get with the serious dynamic the council had going for them, so I wanted something that fit me… Really.<\/p>\n

Shizen: You definitely accomplished that… That was a good meeting though and you had a great point with that statue.\u00a0 (She laughs a little).<\/p>\n

Kairi: Can we go see it after we eat at that place you mentioned, it\u00a0sounds really cool.<\/p>\n

Orion: Well, I don’t see why not since it’s close by it anyways.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Smiles brightly).\u00a0 I look forward to it!<\/p>\n

They continue to walk through the courtyard taking in the sight of the flat grassy park with a few trees.\u00a0 As they are walking, they start to hear loud hound like barks to the side of them being heard louder and louder as it gets nearer looking around to see what direction it is coming from.\u00a0 Shizen puts her hand over her eyes to shade them from the sun in the direction she hears it.<\/p>\n

\"\"Rowen: (He immediately knows those barks as does Orion as he smiles).\u00a0 We may have another guest with us very shortly.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He looks confused as he looks around).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

They see a large dog in the direction Shizen is staring.\u00a0 The dog is very large being about 3 feet tall standing on all four feet about the same size as a small horse with a hound like bark.\u00a0 Its fur is gray, rough, very wiry, and shaggy.\u00a0 The dog heads right for Orion seeming stronger then fast with his stride but not slowing down at all.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He sighs as he puts Rocky).\u00a0 Only one second alright buddy… It’s time for Spike.\u00a0 (Rocky ducks into his shell as soon as he is put down.\u00a0 The dog runs up to Orion smelling him excitedly with his tail wagging.\u00a0 His hound like bark change more to a low pup\u2019s bark for attention even with his size.\u00a0 He jumps up on Orion putting his front paws on his shoulders being about 7 feet tall on its hind legs as it licks Orion’s face and a big dog smile as it stays jumped up on Orion’s shoulder looking like a hug).\u00a0 Alright, alright now Spike calm down.\u00a0 I’m back home I know but we got guests so need to mind your manners remember.<\/p>\n

\"\"Chazz: (He and the rest of the group that does not know seem confused.\u00a0 Spike does not seem to listen about the manners trying to get his hind legs up to get Orion to hold him like a puppy even though he is so big).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Moves closer having trouble believing how big this dog is).\u00a0 You have a dog to?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Her eyes are wide in amazement but also excitement to see the dog).\u00a0 He is so huge, are you sure that is not a pony!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Crosses her arms with a grin).\u00a0 You never told me you adopted a dog in the report about dog populations.\u00a0 (She pretends to pout but cannot help but grin instead).<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well from what he has told was the dog came to him when he was a puppy and Orion just felt a huge connection between the two so the dog has become what you see now.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: He is definitely not puppy size anymore, but it sounds like he still thinks he is.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Goes over to pet Spike) He is a giant puppy then!\u00a0 And he looks like a cave doggy, he is so shaggy!<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well, explain why there wasn’t a single complaint in his report on growing dog populations.\u00a0 (She pats Orion’s back looking amused as the dog is in his arms).\u00a0 Have your hands full then?<\/p>\n

Orion: Just a little… But don’t worry he should be done soon.\u00a0 (As it seems Spike is calming down a bit having gotten the affection he missed).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (As Spike climbs back down, she gets a good look at the dog and smiles).\u00a0 I have seen dogs almost this big bred in northern lands at home, they are called wolfhounds.\u00a0 I believe they bred them because they were loyal and large to become hunting dogs, but they were too much of a gentle giant at times for that.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smirks).\u00a0 The dog does suit you perfectly, a big shaggy gentle giant.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Smiles at the dog as it gives her a kiss being only a little shorter than her on all fours as she pets him and giggles).<\/p>\n

Tori: It seems like Spike likes you too Kairi.\u00a0 (He smiles as he pets him as does Hiki)<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She can’t stop smiling seeing the dog).\u00a0 He is so cute!<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, he is a very affectionate dog that knows that everyone needs some love and though yes, they are a passive species.\u00a0 Not that does not mean they cannot be intimidating in their own way.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 Yes, all dogs share that loyalty.<\/p>\n

Kairi: He really is cute!\u00a0 Sis, can you tell me what he is saying?\u00a0 (She continues to pet Spike and giggles as he licks hers and the others faces able to reach easily).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs).\u00a0 I think he is making it clear what he is saying and feeling.\u00a0 I do not think I need to translate.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Lets Spike give his kisses and says hello as well with a few pats on the head).\u00a0 I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog this big.<\/p>\n

Tori: (Spike continues his greeting reaching up to sniff the birds as well Silver starting to flap her wings frantically with a cawing noise at the canine smell thinking it’s a predator since she is mostly blinded while Owlet simple tilts his head at Spike with a few wing flaps at first being so close).\u00a0 It’s ok Silver, it isn’t a predator so calm down, ok?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks around Spike at Rocky next to Orion and at the pumpkin that dropped, Rocky already starting to dig into it).\u00a0 Rocky seems to be enjoying the pumpkin.\u00a0 I guess he is thinking about lunch as well.<\/p>\n

Orion: Well, I wanted to see them both at home before lunch, but I guess they couldn’t wait so they decided to come find me.<\/p>\n

Shizen: They missed you but I’m sure they can come with us; we can eat outside the pub with them.\u00a0 Rocky already has a head start on that.\u00a0 (As Rocky looks up at Orion his face covered with pumpkin).<\/p>\n

Orion: Alright Rocky, I’ll carry you over there and Spike you better be on your good behavior or no Sheppard’s pie for you.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs as Spike wags his tail and follows Orion obediently).\u00a0 Well they do seem well behaved.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles and nods).\u00a0 Sheppard’s pie sounds good too, I wonder what else they have here.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, this specific pub we are going to ranges heavily from Irish specialties to other types of sandwiches.\u00a0 A very unique arrangement of foods really<\/p>\n

Shizen: It’s Orion’s\u00a0favorite pub, I’m sure he will look forward for all of you to try it.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Ooh sounds good, let\u2019s go!\u00a0 (She skips to Orion to follow being unsure of where they are going).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins as she lifts her mug that was full of mead putting her other arm around Rowen).\u00a0 A good opportunity to get another refill as well.<\/p>\n

They all follow Orion and his pets to the pub leaving out of the courtyard and to another street.\u00a0 They follow to an older looking stone bar and restaurant.\u00a0 They see how casual the place looks with a bar, wooden chairs, and tables inside and outside of the place.\u00a0 They are led to the outside part with the animals, Orion sitting at a long stone table with wooden chairs leaning back to relax as Spike tries to sit on the bench as well.\u00a0 He ends up lying down his head resting on Orion’s lap with the rest of his body sprawled lying on the bench taking up most of that side with Rocky set down on the ground to enjoy the rest of the pumpkin.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" Jennifer: (Looks around the pubs atmosphere).\u00a0 So, this is the place?\u00a0 It feels very rustic yet warm.<\/p>\n

Rowen: It is like that, but it is a very popular and welcoming pub since their food is something that is well known throughout the city.\u00a0 However, they can be a little pricey, so it is seen as a celebration place but a decent place to drink at since those prices are good overall for the quality.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Digs in her purse).\u00a0 Well, if their focus on quality then it will be well worth it.\u00a0 I hope we brought enough to eat here.\u00a0 (As she pulls out the gold coin currency she brought from home).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs).\u00a0 There’s no need to worry, we have enough though earth spirits are particularly fond of gold and precious metals.<\/p>\n

Orion: Don’t worry about money as they are doing this meal as paying for a favor, I did for them once so don’t worry about how much it’s worth it for now.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Puts her purse down).\u00a0 Alright if you are sure.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks for if there is some kind of menu).\u00a0 What should we get then?<\/p>\n

Shizen: I suggest just trusting the staff here.\u00a0 There are specials to what they have most quality of since it’s most popular.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: Most restaurants use that system with seasonal ingredients.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Is offered a menu by a waitress first).\u00a0 Seems to make sense.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well do not worry about it too much, just go look at the menu and see what seems interesting and just go from that.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Nods as she happily reads the menu).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (As she reads, she looks over to Spike sprawled out on the bench with his head on Orion’s lap and the rest taking up most of that bench).\u00a0 He seems comfortable.<\/p>\n

Orion: Yeah, I had to make sure he had his own bench because he does this quite often, but it means he’s comfortable so I’m happy to see him like this.<\/p>\n

Kairi: He is sleepy too, are you going to order him something to eat too?<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smirks).\u00a0 Well of course I have too, or he would have a fuss so hmm what I should get him….\u00a0 (He looks at the menu wondering and then finally smirks as he finds one).\u00a0 Yes, yes here we go now.\u00a0 I shall get him an Irish pub style meatloaf.\u00a0 Does that sound good to you Spike?\u00a0 (Spike instantly looks up at Orion linking his lips with a begging look and tail wagging making the others laugh at the clear answer the dog gave).<\/p>\n

They all talk to each other each ordering what stands out to them and Shizen ordering another mug of mead as well.\u00a0 They all talk about plans for travel and the city, the food coming out at a quick pace.\u00a0 The first thing they notice is how large the portions are once set around the table and scattered about.\u00a0 They receive things like corned beef, sausage and mash potatoes, brown bread, beef stew, cream bundt cake, boxty potato pancakes, shepherd’s pie, Cornish pastie, cabbage beef casserole, and sausage, bacon, onion and potato hotpot.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Her eyes go wide seeing how big the portions are).\u00a0 … Is this really our food?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has the same expression) … There is so much.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Cannot help but laugh at the reaction).\u00a0 Well earth spirits do tend to go all out.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She looks at the food being slightly intimidated by it all).\u00a0 No kidding there….<\/p>\n

Kura: (Has the same expression).\u00a0 But really, are you sure all of this is ours?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs more).\u00a0 Yes, it is, now dig in.\u00a0 (As she passes the big tray of Sheppard’s pie knowing it’s what Orion has wanted most from here).\u00a0 Besides earth spirit eat like this to keep their great strength up.<\/p>\n

Orion: Not always really, it’s just how this pub is.\u00a0 Whatever we don’t finish we can eat on the travel so all in all we will have food to eat at least.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: It looks like enough food to last us a week.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at the plate curiously seeing they use a lot of potatoes and meat and goes in to take a bite.\u00a0 Once she does her eyes widen).\u00a0 It is so good though and savory.<\/p>\n

Tori: Well, I guess that’s the point of the huge servings, but we might as well start eating, not going to finish itself.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Nods as she takes the mash potatoes enjoying them a lot).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Starts passing around the food for everyone to put on their plate passing the beef and potato stew as well since she is at the end of the table with Hiki and Tori).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles as she makes up her plate mostly with mashed potatoes while Tori the opposite as he grabs more beef of the Sheppard’s pie).<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He just eats what he has ordered as the group settles down as it seems Spike and Rocky are happy to have their master back while it leaves a small jealous feeling in Rowen’s heart).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks over to Rowen right beside her feeling something is wrong putting a arm around his shoulder to say more privately as well).\u00a0 What’s wrong Rowen, the food not to your taste?<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He shakes his head as he shakes away the feeling).\u00a0 No, no it is not that at all.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Raises her eyebrows).\u00a0 Hmm then what’s on your mind?<\/p>\n

Rowen: Nothing really, I promise to come on now let’s just enjoy the meal.\u00a0 (As he begins to eat again).<\/p>\n

Shizen: Hmm very well then.\u00a0 (She kisses Rowen’s cheek the begins to eat as well).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (As everyone digs in, she grabs a piece of the Bundt cake with what looks like honey and nuts on top and eats happily giving some to Hiki as well).\u00a0 You should try it too; it is really good!<\/p>\n

Hiki: Hmm then I shall try it Kairi!\u00a0 (She takes a bite and as she is eating it makes a smile on her face).\u00a0 Oh, you\u2019re right, it really is!<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles).\u00a0 It is not as sweet as other things, but it still tastes like sweet bread!\u00a0 (Owlet peers over Hiki’s shoulder at the food trying to grab a little bit as she takes bites.\u00a0 Silver does the same leaning in at the beef stew able to smell with a few chirps shifting from one foot to the other).<\/p>\n

Tori: (He and Hiki laugh a little as they feed their respected birds).\u00a0 Now, now you can see now just be on your best manners or it happens again ok Silver?\u00a0 (He removes the blinding darkness on Silver.\u00a0 Silver shakes her head and stretches her wings with a cawing noise eating the pieces of beef hungrily.<\/p>\n

Orion: (Spike eats as well getting his on big plate of Shepherd’s pie as he lays sprawled out on the bench looking at Orion his shaggy fur around his mouth covered in mash potatoes as he licks his lips with his tail wagging hard.\u00a0 He smiles as he pets him as he eats).\u00a0 See told you being good gets you a good reward.\u00a0 (Spike reaches up to lick Orion’s face making Rocky look up as well-being nearly done with his pumpkin).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles watching Spike and how much food is in his fur).<\/p>\n

Orion: Oh, don’t worry buddy, I didn’t forget about you.\u00a0 (He pets Rocky’s head and shell).\u00a0 I’m happy you\u2019re enjoying the pumpkin.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles at how the two animals are with Orion).\u00a0 They really do love and look up to you.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles and looks over).\u00a0 The great thing about animals, they’re so loyal to that one person that take them in as a loved family member.\u00a0 Similar to children in a way as well.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He hears the comment).\u00a0 Yeah, in a way… They\u00a0are something close to it though… I can love them just as much….\u00a0 (The animals notice Orion’s sadness in his words.\u00a0 Spike puts his head in Orion’s lap as he is being pet as Rocky nudges Orion’s foot in their own way of trying to cheer him up).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Realizes what she said and immediately regrets it looking down into her mug with a frown).<\/p>\n

Orion: Yeah, your right… It’s ok, it’s ok but let’s get back to eating, shall we?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods taking a sip from the mug wanting to push away the silent mood).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Tilts her head in confusion, not sure what the upset expression was about but Kura puts a hand on her shoulder to stop her from asking so she can try to brighten the mood like she usually does).<\/p>\n

Lunch seems to pick up in their mood as they continue eating enjoying the cuisine the earth territory has to offer and surprisingly able to eat most of it together though Orion, Rowen and Shizen having a big part in that.\u00a0 They are completely full as they lean back but not enough to fall off the bench from the wholesome and savory meal.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is completely full as she puts her plate to the side).\u00a0 It is so good, but I do not think I could eat another bite sadly.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (As he burps unintentionally then covers his mouth).\u00a0 Excuse me… And yes, it was very delicious.\u00a0 (As Hiki is laying on his lap rubbing her stomach from being so full).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles looking at Chazz hearing the burp).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Blushes looking over at Hiki but smiles nodding in agreement).<\/p>\n

Shizen: You can never leave the earth territory hungry, it’s really never aloud.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Yes, when I had visited in the past food was practically brought to me with people telling me to eat even though I already ate… I had leftovers for two days after that visit.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: I do not think we can carry much more than this, maybe taking along bread since it’s easier to eat and carry with our traveling.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I believe there is a bakery a bit further up the street.\u00a0 I’m sure they have what we are looking for.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Ooh if it is anything like this honey bread and brown bread it must be really good as well.<\/p>\n

Shizen: They do stock breads for local restaurants so it wouldn’t be surprising.<\/p>\n

Tori: Well that does very good but yeah let’s get some easy to carry food to take with us.\u00a0 It would be rude to the chef’s if we took their food that would go bad midway through the trip.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes I do know the bakery can seal beef and other things in bread well.\u00a0 They taste better fresh but preserving them so they are edible still is not as difficult.<\/p>\n

Kairi: That sounds really good, maybe we can try one while it is still fresh.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs a little thinking of how full they are).\u00a0 I am not sure\u00a0I could make room for that right now.<\/p>\n

Orion: Don’t have to eat it all in one go, if it’s one thing I know about our food mostly… Is that it’s taste good no matter when you eat it so just enjoying the taste it gives makes it worth it.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles).\u00a0 That makes sense, especially now that we have taste of the food.\u00a0 It tastes very warm and comforting.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 I wouldn’t mind stopping to pick up things for Yami to try as well.\u00a0 I know he eats anything, and I don’t think he’s ever reached a limit on a amount of food.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins).\u00a0 Well, I’m sure we will stop here again with Yami and Orion’s people will put him to the test.<\/p>\n

Orion: That sounds wonderful, I’ll make sure to get another spot at another pub I eat at regularly.\u00a0 That shall be a fun time.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Whenever Yami eats he never looks completely full.\u00a0 Maybe he can eat a infinite amount.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs a little again).\u00a0 I am sure there is some limit.<\/p>\n

Kura: I wouldn’t be so sure of that honestly.<\/p>\n

Tori: From what I can remember of eating with his family is that everyone had a deep appetite besides you Kura and Chikara.\u00a0 (As he gives his empty plate to the waitress with a smile).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Pouts a little reaching to grab Tori’s ear).\u00a0 Well from what I remember I didn’t have a chance to eat.\u00a0 From the last dinner I remember ended with you and Kuro… Throwing my food at Kishi.\u00a0 (She stops herself a little in the memory and can see a small hint of sadness but then a smile at the good memory).<\/p>\n

Tori: Well, it’s not my fault he was picking on me and I wanted to fight in a way that was easy… Though Shiro got really mad at me and Kuro and oh man it was a very long lecture afterwards but worth it.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Smiles more hearing the tone in Tori’s voice is happier).\u00a0 I hope it was worth cleaning up the mess afterwards and working to pay back for Chikara’s book that was ruined… But you have a point it seeming worth it with such loud laughter from Nagi and Kishi.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Smiles listening to Tori and Kura talk about memories enjoying hearing about them and what it was like).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles as well at the two reminisce knowing old times at that house as well).<\/p>\n

Tori: Yeah, it was nice times….<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As she tries to change subject).\u00a0 I met Shiro before actually, I just remembered something.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (She raises her eyebrows in interest at Hiki).\u00a0 You have?\u00a0 I remember Shiro mentioning about talks with your mother about contact with you though they didn’t sound like they went as well as she had hoped.\u00a0 You must have been a young child, correct?<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She shakes her head).\u00a0 No, no it isn’t that time… It’s when she walked around the city one day and she found me in alleyway… It was after everything that happened it took a little before, she remembered me.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Is even more curious).\u00a0 Really, she always had wanted to meet you mentioning something about sensing something about your energy.\u00a0 I think wanting to have an apprentice to cherish in balance to take under her wing like Nagi had his.\u00a0 (She looks at Tori).<\/p>\n

Hiki: Well, she couldn’t take me under her wing without my mom knowing really… But every so often she should me techniques when she came to city… Thanks to her I can control most of the elements when it comes to spells anyway.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Ahh that makes sense, she would bring you up in conversations and how special and unique your energy was to have hints of other energies, but I never knew how much contact she was able to have with you.\u00a0 I’m glad you met her though… Those two cared a lot about both of you, just as much as their children and grandchildren.\u00a0 (She smiles at both Hiki and Tori).<\/p>\n

Tori: Yeah, I know… I heard a lot about Hiki but didn’t know the name since she never mentioned it really….<\/p>\n

Hiki: Oh, she did!\u00a0 I’m happy to know she cared a lot… It was like having a second mom at the time, it was great… Though I’m happy with master and Tori… I wouldn’t trade it for the world.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles at Hiki, hearing them and agreeing).\u00a0 Hiki when you met Shiro what did you think of her like a first impression.\u00a0 I have heard a lot about them from Tori and Kura but not from you.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She thinks to herself for a little\u00a0bit).\u00a0 She was beautiful… In my first glance of her… I didn’t know what to think really but she was beautiful at first sight… Then kind and was like a teacher in how she acted sometimes… It was nice to see her kind side, yet she would get flustered over some things easily, mostly from her husband.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Smiles as she listens as well).\u00a0 She sounds really nice.\u00a0 It sounds like you act a lot like her too from how kind and pretty you are.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She blushes slightly).\u00a0 No, no I couldn’t even try to be like Shiro since… I’m my own person… But thank you anyway.\u00a0 (She smiles as she lays her head on Chazz again).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Smiles slightly but downwards a little more to herself).\u00a0 And a very beautiful kind person in your own ways as well.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles at Hiki).\u00a0 You have a very good point but the person you are is just as amazing.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I couldn’t put it better myself for every individual at this table.\u00a0 (She smiles at everyone as she starts to gather their things).\u00a0 But we should start heading out again.\u00a0 There are still a few places to stop after all.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: We could have someone pick up food for travel at the bakery and meet us to our next stop to save time as well.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He smiles as he raises his hand).\u00a0 I volunteer for that since I know a good bakery Orion took me too last time, I was here so I can get there easily.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks at Rowen with a smile).\u00a0 As long as you don’t mind.\u00a0 We will be heading towards Orion’s statue so do you know your way to it?\u00a0 Though it’s not hard to miss as a meeting place honestly.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Of course.\u00a0 (He smirks).\u00a0 It would be too hard to not know Orion for I look since I see him everyday<\/p>\n

Orion: Ouch don’t need to say it like that now Rowen!\u00a0 (He and the rest of the group laugh).<\/p>\n

Chazz: Well regardless have a safe travel.<\/p>\n

Kairi: I am sure the statue looks amazing and giant though, I cannot wait.\u00a0 Oh, and I cannot wait to see what you get at the bakery Rowen!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Laughs patting Kairi’s head).\u00a0 We will see when we meet at the statue then.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rowen smiles and bows before he leaves the pub with an idea of where to go for the bakery. He moves across city as he feels someone is following him, but he does not pay much mind to it.\u00a0 Rowen arrives at the bakery as he smiles to see that it is still there, and they seem to have the bread he likes.\u00a0 He is browsing the bakery he also sees that there is a sale. Rowen is picking up the bread he wanted but a as he is handed the bag of bread, he is also given a pastry fresh out of the oven smelling like it is filled with beef and herbs.\u00a0 It looks like it is made to eat right away but there are no tables or chairs to sit in the bakery or street only the curb of the sidewalk having a few moments to spare having gotten there so quickly.\u00a0 He ponders what he should do but with mildly thinking he shrugs his shoulders as he sits on curb being excited to eat the fresh food.\u00a0 Rowen sits to eat his food but just before he is about to take his first bite, he hears odd rustling like something being knocked over in the small alley behind and around the corner towards a darker alley next to the bakery.\u00a0 He looks behind him with curiosity wondering what it is, so he decides to check it out with the fresh food in his hand.<\/p>\n

Rowen: What could that be….<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

He walks up to the ally he can see it is very shadowed in some areas getting an eerie feeling from it.\u00a0 From what he can see it is quite empty besides a few garbage bins behind the store with one knocked over which must have been the sound as well as what looks like an old cardboard boxes beside it.\u00a0 He gets on guard a little bit as he examines the alleyway while also looking around seeing if anyone is there.\u00a0 The ally seems mostly quiet but once Rowen is turning to leave thinking it was nothing one of the old cardboard boxes tipped to the side of the garbage bins rustles around like there is something alive moving around inside it.\u00a0 He goes over to the box and in small surprise he sees a dog which scares him for a second making him take a back step.\u00a0 He only catches a glimpse of the dog being on guard until a high whimpering puppy sound is heard inside the box as it flips up right.\u00a0 It is a few seconds of the dog moving around in the box until he can get a better look.\u00a0 He sees more clearly once the dog goes up on its hind legs to try a climb out of its box, its little paws hanging on the side with her head poking out.\u00a0 The dog looks to be a puppy seeming only about a few months in age at most.\u00a0 The dog’s fur coat is black with a white blaze on the face, neck, feet, legs, and tail tip looking to be similar to a border collie breed.\u00a0 The dog has a lot of dirt in its fur seeming to be a stray with one ear looking to be damaged by something or part of it was cut giving the assumption it was not treated well in the past.\u00a0 It looks up at Rowen with very cute dark brown almost black eyes but timid and unsure of him.\u00a0 Upon seeing the dog, he is star struck by how the dog looks and immediately kneels over to the dog being cautious not trying to scare the puppy.<\/p>\n

\"\"The dog folds her ears back timidly but also reaches out to sniff Rowen being unsure of him still with a puppy like whimpering sound.\u00a0 He frowns as he sees the puppy in this condition.<\/p>\n

Rowen:\u00a0Now how could this happen to a sweet looking dog like you….\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The small puppy moves back from Rowen, back into the box sitting in the corner of it.\u00a0 It looks up at Rowen with a look of fear seeming to have bad experiences around people.\u00a0 Still unsure of him putting its ears back more while staying in the corner as if thinking it’s in trouble.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rowen: I see… Well, you must be hungry I am sure….<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

He looks around and breaks down the fresh bread he received and creates a clay bowl for the dog to eat out of.<\/p>\n

Rowen: I am sure this will help and maybe this as well….<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

He makes another bowl and pours some water into it.\u00a0 The puppy hesitantly looks over at the food but slowly waddles towards it sniffing the fresh bread quite a lot.\u00a0 The puppy starts eating once getting a sense it’s safe to as well as drinking the water able to tell how hungry the dog is from how fast it is eating the food.\u00a0 Rowen smiles as he sits close to the dog as it eats.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, I am happy you are enjoying it at least.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The dog finishes the bread very quickly as well as the water and then sits facing Rowen its ears still back but a begging look on its face.\u00a0 He can finally see the dog’s tail wagging a little as it silently begs besides a small whimper.\u00a0 He sighs as he hands over the rest of the bread to the dog).<\/p>\n

Rowen: Here you go then.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The puppy’s tail wags more as it eats the rest of the food just as quickly.\u00a0 The food is gone in a few seconds just like before and afterwards sitting a little closer to Rowen looking up at him while licking its lips from the food. Rowen shakes his head.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rowen: No, no I do not have any more to give you… Hmm I need to have a name to call you or it would be rude, let\u2019s see I hear you all the way from the street… Let’s go with Echo….<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The puppy tilts its head in confusion but does its best to understand making a high pitch bark which echoes through the alley from how narrow it is.\u00a0 Echo\u00a0moves closer to Rowen sniffing his leg with tail wagging more finally getting a sense that he is safe.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well now I see that the name fits you.\u00a0 (He smiles as he pets Echo).\u00a0 Would you like to come with me now?<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Echo’s tail continues wagging very fast as the dog tries to go up on its hind legs into Rowen’s lap but is only able to lean on his leg from how small a puppy it is still as it chews on his pants leg a little.\u00a0 He laughs as he picks up the puppy.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, I will take that as a yes then Echo… Welcome to my journey.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Echo’s tail wags happily finally being held with love reaching up to lick Rowen’s face. He pets Echo but as he scratches the wounded ear, he hears the dog’s discomfort with it.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Now what happened here…?\u00a0 How could someone do this to you?<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Echo yelps at the ear being touched, shrinking back in Rowen’s arm to try and hide in a timid matter again.\u00a0 Rowen panics for a second from the yelp but regains his composure.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Oh umm… I am sorry… I will take you to Shizen first to have this looked at… But do not worry, you will not be put through hardships anymore.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Echo settles in Rowen’s arms seeming to be very tired but shakes a little from the yelp though licking Rowen’s hand as well.\u00a0 Rowen carries the puppy with him being careful of the ear to the meeting place they agreed on.\u00a0 He walks down the streets doing his best to recall the way to Orion’s statue.\u00a0 He walks for a few moments before reaching a intersection of a street near the meeting place.\u00a0 He notices the group first making their way out of the streets and into a open area the statue is located at.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He gets closer to the group and waves at them with the only free arm that he has).\u00a0 Oh everyone, I am over here.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Turns hearing Rowen and waves with a bright smile).\u00a0 Hi Rowen!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Walks over with a grin towards Rowen seeing him wave).\u00a0 Ahh there you are.\u00a0 I was worried you had become lost.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Now that would be hard to do really with this status here.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Raises her eyebrows but then notices a small puppy in Rowen’s other arm instantly showing more interest her grin growing).\u00a0 Oh, I see.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is right behind Shizen noticing the puppy laying in Rowen’s arm right after). A\u00a0dog?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Instantly has her attention hearing about a dog going on her toes to try and see).\u00a0 You have a doggy!?<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He laughs as he looks down at Echo).\u00a0 I was wondering when you would notice\u00a0but yes, I have this little one here.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Walks over to beside Rowen looking down at the curious puppy as it sniffs its sounding).\u00a0 Ahh very little one indeed.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Finally can see the dog getting very excited and immediately catching everyone else’s attention especially Hiki).\u00a0 It is a puppy!<\/p>\n

Hiki: (Cannot help but get excited as she rushes by Kairi).\u00a0 It’s so cute!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is right with Hiki and Kairi as the puppy sniffs around the people starting to come over with tail wagging but ears back in a nervous timid matter).\u00a0 Looks like a border collie too, where did you find her?<\/p>\n

Rowen: By the alleyway next to\u00a0the bakery, I went too… She was very cautious since it seemed like she did not have a good time with humans beforehand.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (She and Jennifer notices the condition of the puppy immediately).\u00a0 I see….\u00a0 (She looks at Rowen knowing she wants to check on the puppy from her concern, Orion coming over to look at the puppy as well).<\/p>\n

Orion: Oh, I have heard some stories about the dog as everyone was dragging me along before we met up I was hoping to stop by their later but I guess you beat me too it.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Has a more serious expression saying more quietly while examining the dog closer).\u00a0 She shows signs she was neglected at the least… I am glad you found her now.\u00a0 She’s so young to survive being a stray for long… I’m thankful you saved her then Rowen.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks over the dog as well frowning at how much dirt is in Echo’s fur petting her gently and calmly).\u00a0 It is alright girl; you are safe now.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at the puppy now being concerned seeing the serious look).\u00a0 Is the puppy alright?<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He nods his head yes).\u00a0 Yes, it seems she is alright now, I fed her some free bread I got from the bakery and gave her some water as well knowing it would probably help.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Looks at Rowen while placing a hand by Echo nose to sniff and get to know her then pets her gently like Jennifer had done).\u00a0 Do you mind if I do a small check up on her anyways?\u00a0 It doesn’t hurt to make sure.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Please be my guest, I was hoping you would, but I am not sure how she is with anyone else.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Perhaps not surround her.\u00a0 It can be overwhelming at first.\u00a0 (She calmly pets the puppy to make sure the puppy is alright with moving to her.\u00a0 Echo does a little high-pitched bark seeming to enjoy positive attention for a change).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks up at Jennifer wondering about the bark).\u00a0 What did she say, is she happy?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles at Kairi).\u00a0 I think so, it is similar to listening to a toddler or baby talk though but perhaps give Shizen some space to look at the puppy.\u00a0 I am sure she will want to play later.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles and nods to Jennifer looking at Hiki and Kairi as a sign to go over to where Chazz and Tori are with Spike and Rocky).\u00a0 Thank you, Child, I was about to ask for that.\u00a0 Don’t worry, it won’t take long.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He shakes his head yes as he sits down at a nearby bench with Shizen and Orion).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles calmly at the puppy in Rowen’s lap moving slowly and carefully not to scare her. She starts to move Echo from his lap to hers when Echo starts to whimper at moving away from Rowen.\u00a0 Shizen pets her and holds the puppy similar to holding a baby in a very comforting way.\u00a0 Rowen’s able to see the maternal instinct holding Echo and the soothing calm words to stop the pups\u2019 whimpers).\u00a0 It’s alright little one… No need to be afraid anymore… I’ve got you… Shh it’s alright.\u00a0 (As she does this the puppy’s whimpers slowly lesson and calm).<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He is taken back by the sight being reminded of the sight of his first wife practicing on a baby doll… He cannot help but smile yet feel sadness in his heart).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (The puppy is calmed down and she pets her head).\u00a0 There we are, see you’re safe now….\u00a0 (She sighs but still smiles looking at Rowen but stops once noticing the smile yet hint of sadness).\u00a0 Rowen? Is something wrong?<\/p>\n

Rowen: No… No nothing is wrong, but I am happy you were able to help Echo… I am glad.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Pauses looking into Rowen’s eyes but decides to ask when more alone looking back to the puppy that sniffs and wags her tail on her lap).\u00a0 Hmm very well then… Echo… Is that what you have named her?<\/p>\n

Rowen: Yes, it was.\u00a0 I thought of it after hearing her echo through the alley way.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Ahh I see then, well hello Echo just stay calm a little longer.\u00a0 Just a small checkup.\u00a0 (She starts to look Echo over more carefully her hand slowly going across her fur as it glows green.\u00a0 Echo seems to sniff and nip at the green glow but calms down even more as it seems like the energy is making Echo relax as Rowen and Orion watch next to her).<\/p>\n

Orion: Whatever it seems you are doing seems to be working really well.\u00a0 It seems she is completely calm down, like all her anxiety is gone for right now.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods as she focuses).\u00a0 I am checking her condition now, but she has been through a lot.\u00a0 There’s bruising I am healing now but other than that she is in stable condition besides being underweight.\u00a0 I don’t feel that she is timid though.\u00a0 I get the impression she is more hyper and rambunctious in nature.\u00a0 She just needs the right person to treat and understand the hyperactive nature which I believe from her condition and fear she hasn’t had that yet….<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He smiles as he holds onto Echo and pets her).\u00a0 Well, I will make sure she is not put through all that past trouble again.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles and nods keeping her glowing hand on Echo to heal her).\u00a0 I’m glad you are taking her in then.\u00a0 When you looked at Orion with Spike and Rocky, I almost thought I saw a look of jealousy wanting your own animal companion as well.\u00a0 I’m glad you found one of your own in Echo then.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, I was a little bit… But I was still happy to see everyone else happy.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I can understand that very well though.\u00a0 (She gives Rowen a kiss on his cheek then goes back to focusing on healing Echo pausing once reaching the injured ear inspecting it closely.\u00a0 She narrows her eyes with a frown becoming very bothered feeling the damage of the ear getting Echo and flinch and yelp slightly at first).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He looks with heavy interest at what Shizen is seeing of what caused the injury to the heavily damaged ear).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Continues to look over the ear more carefully narrowing her eyes at the damage as both can see her expression becomes more serious and upset).\u00a0 This… Wasn’t accidental…. (She carefully lifts the ear showing that it is a bit smaller than her other ear because it looks like the tip of it was cut off with redness and swelling inside the ear).<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He is silent as he visually more upset at the idea of this type of thing being done on purpose).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Closes her eyes and takes a breath to calm herself first wanting to focus on what she can heal of it).\u00a0 I will heal what I can of it, but I cannot grow back the part of the ear that was lost.\u00a0 It will look visibly shorter permanently.\u00a0 Perhaps when her fur grows more it will cover up some of it but as for internal damage or the ear, she has an ear infection and may be prone to them in this ear.\u00a0 I can make something to put on her ear to help it since its harder to heal with only energy but it’s too early with the swelling to tell if the hearing is this ear is damaged permanently.\u00a0 (She looks down as she heals what she can of the wounded ear taking another breath).<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, whatever happens I am sure you will do everything in your power to help right now so just relax and focus.\u00a0 I will help keep Echo relaxed.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods as she puts her full attention into her healing able to close up the wound but unable to grow back the missing part.\u00a0 She then reaches her bag pulling out medical herbs she used for Silver the day before).\u00a0 Again, I healed the wound, but I cannot grow back the part of the ear that was cut however for the infection it needs to be dealt with naturally.\u00a0 Rowen I can give you the herbs to use on her ear.\u00a0 It will be uncomfortable for her, but it will get rid out the infection at least.\u00a0 Her hearing should be mostly intact as well, just a little better in her healthy ear.\u00a0 (She sighs as her hand stops glowing with her energy healing all she could with it).<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He smiles as he kisses Shizen).\u00a0 alright I will do my best… I just ask for\u00a0help making sure she is comfortable.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles back at Rowen).\u00a0 I’m sure you will take good care of Echo here.\u00a0 You have a way with animals, your very kind to them so I think she sensed that in you.\u00a0 Since she is just a pup and a hyperactivity breed, I would keep a close eye on her since that nature can be a handful… As well as teething.\u00a0 (She has an amused look as she notices Echo chewing through the leather band of Rowen’s watch on his wrist as she wags her tail).<\/p>\n

\"\"Rowen: (He immediately jerks back his arm so he can try to save his watch but as he looks at it seems it is already too late.\u00a0 He seems a little upset since the watch was from his first wife).\u00a0 Well… That is unfortunate.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Places a hand on Rowen’s shoulder to try and cheer him up as Echo tries to climb up and lick his face but struggling to reach while wagging her tail).\u00a0 I’m sure she didn’t mean to, perhaps we can save the metal case part since only the leather band looks damaged at least.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Alright but… Let’s focus on Echo for now, I am sure someone in the city can help with the leather working.<\/p>\n

Orion: I know a shop so it should be an easy stop for a quick fix.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well, she seems energetic and happy enough.\u00a0 (She starts to put mix of what looks like herbal water in a vial offering it to Rowen).\u00a0 She should be fine besides the ear being shorter and being prone to ear infections.\u00a0 Use this in her ear for the infections and it should take care of the ear.\u00a0 I will warn it does sting a little though.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (As he takes the vial of medicine from Shizen he sees that Echo is feeling energize again and smiles).\u00a0 Well, I am happy to see her like this after seeming to be all alone.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles at Rowen and Echo).\u00a0 I’m glad she found a home with you then.\u00a0 (As they are talking Orion’s pets go towards them Spike being first as he sniffs, and licks Orion’s face then sniffs Echo in Rowen’s lap.\u00a0 Echo shrinks back at the approach of the large dog but sniffs Spike as well as if getting to know each other).<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, it looks like they might get along fine.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He laughs).\u00a0 That’s just how Spike is, he can get along with anyone.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smirks at Orion).\u00a0 He’s a gentle giant just like his owner.\u00a0 (As Rocky lags behind to go towards Orion with the rest of the group as well, specifically Hiki and Kairi wanting to see the puppy most with a sparkle in their eyes).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As soon as she is able to get close the puppy Kairi is close behind them as they make their way towards Echo in awe).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks from Rowen to Echo who wags her tail seeming less timid than before towards them).\u00a0 So cute… Is she alright, are you keeping her?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs a little).\u00a0 She is fine.\u00a0 A bit hyperactive but quite a intelligent little one.<\/p>\n

Rowen: And it seems she will be traveling with us on my journey<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at Rowen with concern).\u00a0 Will it be too dangerous for her?\u00a0 She is very young, what if we run into some sort of trouble?\u00a0 (As Echo turns to Rowen putting her front paws up at him with big, cute eyes and a wagging tail as she tries reach up and lick his face).<\/p>\n

Rowen: I will make sure that she is kept safe, no need to worry about her.\u00a0 (As he pets her head)<\/p>\n

Kura: (Seems concerned as well).\u00a0 As long as she is kept safe then.<\/p>\n

Shizen: A animal companion can help quite a lot for many things.\u00a0 They make a bond with their human or spirit, and it can almost be immediate.\u00a0 (She looks at Hiki and Tori with Silver and Owlet on their shoulder).\u00a0 They can be quite stubborn about staying by your side and since Rowen saved this little one leaving her behind would be quit harming.\u00a0 I don’t advise animals this young traveling like this but then if left here she would feel abandoned like before.\u00a0 An animal\u2019s bond is strong, it is the reason Orion’s two hearing them I can tell they don’t like him being away so long.\u00a0 (As Rocky looks up at Orion beside him and Spike rests his head on his lap).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Seems to understand what Shizen is saying and sighs).\u00a0 I understand… I just cannot stand the thought of animals getting hurt in some way.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods in agreement).\u00a0 It’s like the feeling of anyone becoming hurt honestly, they could be human, spirit or animal so I understand your worries.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Frowns a little then gives a determined look).\u00a0 It is alright, we will all protect each other.\u00a0 Nothing bad will happen as long as that happens.<\/p>\n

Rowen; Well of course we will all make sure of that.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She smiles as she looks Echo then everyone with a sorrow expression that changes to a smile).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Reaches to pet and greet the puppy with a bright smile Echo turning around on Rowen lap to wag her tail and lick and play being less hesitant to show her true nature making Kairi giggle.\u00a0 She pets the dog more cleaning the dirt too from the ally and notices how much her black and white markings stand out looking at them with wonder how pretty of a puppy she is.\u00a0 She gets a idea from the black and white markings looking to Chazz, Hiki and Tori).\u00a0 She is so cute!\u00a0 She is like a balance puppy too!<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He laughs from the comment greatly as the markings do resemble the idea of their energy).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at the border collie markings and cannot help but laugh and agree).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Bursts out in laughter just as much at the comment looking at Rowen and patting him on the back).\u00a0 You just can’t stay away from raising balance, can you?<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He smirks with a small blush).\u00a0 Well, I guess I cannot since the first one seems to be just fine with the ones he is with.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He is taken off guard a bit).\u00a0 Yes… You did a fine job Rowen… Though still need you around.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Smiles looking from Chazz to Rowen).\u00a0 That is true.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I’ve come to learn that even as students grow into young adults, they still want their teacher\u2019s guidance.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Has a big smile petting Echo still).\u00a0 Now you have two students to look up to you!<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs again looking at all the younger ones in the group).\u00a0 Even more really.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well, that is true… But… Nevermind let’s get going before it gets late into the day.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Stands up and nods).\u00a0 Ahh yes, I believe our meeting place was near the statue.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Oh, Orion’s statue!<\/p>\n

Kura: (Has a questioning look).\u00a0 A meeting place?<\/p>\n

Shizen: Ahh yes, Orion has a workshop near the statue.\u00a0\u00a0I believe that’s the meeting place Orion chose.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He thinks to himself).\u00a0 Oh yes you are correct, I was distracted so I had forgotten about the meeting place.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has a little confusion).\u00a0 Alright then… Who are we meeting then?\u00a0 I do not remember you telling us.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smiles).\u00a0 Oh, don’t worry about a thing and let’s just get going ok, don’t want to keep them waiting long.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Sighs as they start to walk down the street).\u00a0 I hope they are there soon as well then.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The group continues and carry or walk beside their pets noticing this side of the city is much calmer.\u00a0 It is more open as they turn the corner seeing they are on part of the mountain that was carved out.\u00a0 There is a stone rail to look out onto the scenery safely where land and the ocean on the other side meet as well as a humble looking workshop to the side.\u00a0 To the side where the mountain wall starts rising again is where a large stone statue of Orion is.\u00a0 The statue is all grey like the mountain stone and very well detailed looking like Orion perfectly though with a bit of a longer beard.\u00a0 Instead of holding his weapon or a expression of thought his statue leans against the mountain wall very casually with a big grin and arms crossed.\u00a0 There is also green grass under the statue with a duck pond at his feet with a few benches, the area seeming to be a good place to clear someone’s mind.<\/p>\n

Orion: (As the arrive towards the statue he cannot help but smile seeing the statue still there in one piece).\u00a0 Ahh I’m so happy it’s still there.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks up at the giant statue in awe).\u00a0 It is amazing, it looks just like you!<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is at a loss of words at first looking at the statue and the view of the landscape).\u00a0 It is… Impressive… Especially the view of the landscape.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks out at the scenery as well).\u00a0 Yes… It feels peaceful here.<\/p>\n

\"\"Tori: (He, Hiki and Chazz are taken back by how the scenery doesn’t fit the idea of the city so easily yet it feels so relaxing just being in the area).<\/p>\n

Rowen: This is one of the popular areas of the city for those who need a proper place to relax.<\/p>\n

Shizen: The first-generation spirit’s statues are always the biggest landmark of a city.\u00a0 Orion’s is one of the best ones in manys opinion.\u00a0 It fits him quite perfectly though.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Goes closer with the group to the statue still going in awe but also noticing a humble looking workshop on the other side of the open area pointing to it).\u00a0 What is that used for?\u00a0 I do not see any other buildings around here.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Ahh Orion’s workshop, I believe that is where Orion chose to have our meeting spot.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks at the workshop to the side then up at Orion with a wondering look).\u00a0 What kind of workshop, is it like the others we saw in the city?<\/p>\n

Orion: Yes, in a way it was a nice meeting place for me and… Nevermind those details but yes it was a good place since not many are allowed into it unless the city needs repairs.\u00a0 Then I take care of it.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Pats Orion’s shoulder with a small comforting smile).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks around in awe again at the area becoming excited seeing all of her surroundings especially the duck pond which catches her eyes taking both Jennifer and Hiki’s hand to bring with quickly making Owlet flap clumsily at the sudden movement.\u00a0 Kairi pulls them along excitedly with Kura behind them seeing a family of ducks in the middle of the pond).\u00a0 Whoa there is a duck pond here!<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She gasps at how pretty the pond looks being very well preserved).\u00a0 It\u00a0looks so pretty.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles as she runs to the edge of the pond kneeling to look at the ducks in the water with a sparkle in her eye).\u00a0 Their so cute!<\/p>\n

\"\"Kura: (Looks at the pond and bench smiling at the small park).\u00a0It’s quiet and peaceful.\u00a0 It’s a nice change in pace compared to the busyness and crowded market areas.\u00a0 I imagine it’s nice to have a break from that.<\/p>\n

Orion: Well, that was the goal of this park, to allow people to get away from the business and be able to relax.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: It is nice, I like how the ponds right beside the feet of your statue.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, this area and the statue was created to fit Orion’s personality.\u00a0 Then again you are the one who created it.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks up at the statue then up at Orion).\u00a0 It is like looking into a stone mirror.<\/p>\n

Orion: (As he recreates the pose next to the statute\u00a0while smiling).\u00a0 Yeah…It took a few days to get the scenery just right.\u00a0 I become a perfectionist when it comes to my work<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs as well as everyone else in the group doing the same).\u00a0 Oh, you are always a perfectionist when it came to your work though.<\/p>\n

Kura: is that why your workshop is here, have a quieter place to focus on your work then?<\/p>\n

Orion: That’s mostly the reason why… Another reason is because someone requested it of me.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Has a questioning look).\u00a0 Really?\u00a0 Who requested it?<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Quickly cuts into Jennifer’s question clearing her throat).\u00a0 Orion, I believe you said you would show them your skills of earth crafts.\u00a0 May be a good thing to show them with Rowen while we are here and waiting.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He sighs).\u00a0 Ok\u00a0I need to do a project anyways so might as well do it now.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Her face lights up hearing everything).\u00a0 Ooh I bet it is something really cool, can I help?\u00a0 (As Echo barks in Rowen’s arms at the ducks chasing them to the other part of the pond making her pout).\u00a0 Aww do not go, you are just as cute as bunnies.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He laughs as he lets Echo go so she can enjoy the open air but makes a wall to block the dock pond making it too big for her to jump over).\u00a0 Be nice Echo.\u00a0 (Once he lets Echo go, she immediately tries to jump up the wall almost jumping the height of it despite her puppy size.\u00a0 She gets distracted not able to see the ducks anymore chasing something and landing into a muddy area besides Rocky who ducks into his shell, Echo putting muddy paws on his shell as well as Chazz’s pants leg).<\/p>\n

Chazz: Oh… I guess I need to go change now but at least she looks happy now.<\/p>\n

Rowen: (He laughs as sits on a nearby bench to watch Echo).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks down at Chazz’s shoe and pant leg and laughs).\u00a0 Well, it does not look to bad at least.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins at Echo sniffing and exploring her surroundings).\u00a0 She is quite the curious and adventurous little one.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Giggles going over to watch and play with the puppy).\u00a0 She reminds me of one of the wolf pups.\u00a0 The one that was grey and kept running around and chewing on things like Chazz and Tori’s shoes.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Pauses and thinks back).\u00a0 Hmm quite similar indeed.<\/p>\n

Tori: Well, if it’s going to be like that than you may not even want to change master since it seems like Echo is a very playful and energetic puppy.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He sighs).\u00a0 And yes, you are right completely… Sadly.<\/p>\n

Shizen: We are on the road so I do not believe we are able to focus on our appearances as much as we would want to.\u00a0 It is something you will need to get used to.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Nods).\u00a0 I understand, it’s easier to manage without the elegant dresses to worry about.\u00a0 (She smiles seeming happier to not have to worry about dresses getting ruined like at the mansion).<\/p>\n

Kura: (Sighs remembering how much care went into Kairi’s dresses).\u00a0 I think I can agree.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grin and laugh but also watches Echo try to play with Spike who wags his tail while laying down watching Echo more calmly).\u00a0 Consider this as a break from those things then.\u00a0 (She sighs looking out into the distance more now hearing a griffin’s call echo out from another mountain in the scenery.\u00a0 Hearing the far-off call instantly makes Silver alert and perk up to scan the surrounding Owlet doing the same but more calmly and curiously turning his head in all angles).<\/p>\n

Orion: Oh, I hear it’s back now, I’m glad to hear that.\u00a0 (He smiles as he waves towards a nest that is on the mountain).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (looks in the distance as well towards the mountain tops).\u00a0 Looks like there will be quite a few griffin chicks this season.\u00a0 I would advise not flying in the mountains for a decade or two.\u00a0 Mothers are always quite protective of their young.<\/p>\n

Tori: (He smirks).\u00a0 Wish I found that out earlier.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He laughs).\u00a0 Yes, this Griffin here is a resident of the city technically, much different than the one we encountered earlier.\u00a0 She allows flight just not too close really.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, even a griffin used to spirits though can get even more hostile then males about her chicks.\u00a0 It is best to stay away until the mother is comfortable.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks up at Tori).\u00a0 Maybe you can meet the griffin you ran into again when she has her family.\u00a0 She seemed to like you.<\/p>\n

Orion: Yes, I have set barriers nearby to not be in her zone or something close to that.\u00a0 It took some good testing to get that to work correctly.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles at Orion).\u00a0 I appreciate that measure being taken then. (She looks one more time at the mountain tops with a grin then back to the group).\u00a0 Shall we start heading to the workshop now?<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks back and gets a bright smile up at Orion).\u00a0 Ooh I cannot wait!\u00a0 Can I help with whatever you are making?<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smiles but then looks away from the group facing the workshop).\u00a0 Yeah… Let’s get going.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Nods as she starts to leave with Rowen and Echo following Orion, Rocky and Spike).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Skips to catch up walking beside Spike with Kura behind them).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Is gathering her things to follow but notices an oddly shaped rock by another bench near the pond going towards it curiously to see the other side of the well cleaned polished\u00a0stone in front of the pond).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hiki: (Looks back being behind the rest of the group noticing Jennifer is not following yet and gets curious as well to what distracted her.\u00a0 She goes over by Jennifer).\u00a0 What is it, Jenny?\u00a0 Something up?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Nods with a curious expression).\u00a0 It is just that this stone looked a little out of place, so I was just taking a look.\u00a0 There is something engraved into the flat part though.\u00a0 (She starts to brush her hand over it to get rid of dust and read it better).<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She gets closer to the rock in question and sees the engraving as well).\u00a0 What does it say?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Wipes the dust away the stone being a little worn by time but kept up well as she makes it easier to read out loud).\u00a0 Sarah….\u00a0 (She must pause reading what’s under the name her expression changing to more of a frown as she reads slowly to process it).\u00a0 My… Little duckling….<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She is silent as she put together why this is her).\u00a0 Oh no….<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (She hesitantly lifts her hand from the stone looking at the words and then the pond as a whole understanding what it means and recalling Orion’s tone was off while here.\u00a0 She continues looking at the pond and the ducks then at Hiki struggling to get the words out about the pond).\u00a0 … It is… A memorial….<\/p>\n

Hiki: (She is silent as she looks towards Orion for a few moments).\u00a0 That’s why his workshop is here….<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at Orion head into the workshop with everyone with sorrow as she nods).\u00a0 Yes….\u00a0 \u00a0(She looks back at the name and words again going over the name Sarah with her hand again with a sorrowful frown).\u00a0 She must have really loved ducks… I remember Shizen saying Kairi reminded him a lot of her… And that he wears a duck pendant bracelet she made for him… Just being at this pond with others while keeping a smile… It must be really hard for him….<\/p>\n

Hiki: Well… Maybe she… Wanted to be near a duck pond so she could always watch them or something close to that… I think Orion is just honoring her wishes while at the same time his own….<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Pauses again looking at the pond and nods).\u00a0 I suppose so… I guess we should catch up with them though.\u00a0 It is nice to know a little more at least… Sarah… It is a pretty name.<\/p>\n

Hiki: It really is… But yeah, let’s get going before they notice.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Nods again getting up looking at the name one more time.\u00a0 She then gives a small smile as they leave to the workshop together).<\/p>\n

As the group arrives at the workshop it seems to have an iron door knocker on it for it seems to grab his attention when Orion is working.\u00a0 Orion is opening the door as the group is just swarmed with the smell of charcoal ready to be burnt.\u00a0 They enter as they basically see Orion’s workspace with an anvil and a furnace nearby with tools being held onto the wall.\u00a0 It seems to be multiple variations of the tools while it seems Orion has a small place for all different kinds of metals that offer variety in his craft.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Looks around as all the tools and metals rubbing her nose from the smell of coal).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks around in interest and wonder touching a small hammer on a table that looks well used).\u00a0 Whoa there are so many tools here.<\/p>\n

Orion: Well, I need all kinds of tools for the different things I need to create.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at the weapons on shelves as well, a handful of works in progress).\u00a0 It reminds me of the blacksmith shop we visited in the market.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smiles then looks at the sword wrapped in leather on Chazz’s back knowing it was not there the previous day).\u00a0 It explains why there is an extra weapon with us.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Oh yes… It was given as a gift from what I understand from a blacksmith.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Really as a gift?\u00a0 I was wondering why you would have a weapon on your back.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Nods).\u00a0 He was very nice and showed Kairi I few metalworking techniques.\u00a0 He then gave us this sword saying perhaps we could make it work somehow.\u00a0 He was very generous.<\/p>\n

Kairi: He was really nice and taught me how to make pendants out of geodes too.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Thinks then looks at Orion).\u00a0 Perhaps you would want to take a look at it then?\u00a0 It may be one of your old students.<\/p>\n

Orion: Hmm maybe it could be since a good amount of people wanted me to teach them blacksmithing or give critique.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Smirks).\u00a0 I wouldn’t blame them for wanting to be the student of the grandmaster.<\/p>\n

Kairi: I think his name was Vorin, he had a lot of cool metal statues too.<\/p>\n

Orion: Hmm Vorin… Vorin… I do remember the name, but I don’t think I showed him on how to create weapon’s though I did show a blueprint for one I wanted him to try out.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Hmm interesting, must be quite talented then.\u00a0 (She looks at Chazz and the sword on his back).\u00a0 Why not have Orion examine the sword then before he shows off his focus in blacksmithing skills.<\/p>\n

Chazz: Oh alright, yes, we can do that.\u00a0 (He hands Orion the weapon).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He takes it and feels design on the blade with raised eyebrows after a moment).\u00a0 Oh, very well done Vorin.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Peaks over trying to see the blade better with Jennifer).\u00a0 What kind of sword is it, the stone in the middle is really pretty too?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: Does it have a type of magic it needs.\u00a0 Neither of us could figure it out so we thought Chazz might figure that part, so we gave it to him.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Starts to ponder possibilities as well).\u00a0 Perhaps it is a weapon which abilities will be awakened at a certain time or the right conditions?<\/p>\n

Orion: (As he creases his fingers across the swords blade and examines it closely).\u00a0 Hmm it may be that, but the blade seems too unfinished in a way as the hilt is curved where it shouldn’t be and the gemstone which I believe is holding it together doesn’t seem to be able to handle too much energy at once.\u00a0 If I am thinking of the right sword, then the blade is supposed to have a gap in the middle of it and maybe the gemstone is a placeholder for now since it didn’t seem like he had the right one for the type of blade I showed him.\u00a0 He wanted a sword that could protect people so I drew up a blueprint for it so that he could do that but maybe he realized that the sword was too much for him… Maybe by adjusting it he could make it work… Oh Vorin… I know things were tough for you… But I’m happy you could pass off your treasure… I should stop by there another time.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Smiles looking at the sword).\u00a0 I think he did a really good job.<\/p>\n

Shizen: It does look well made so perhaps he put his own little spin on the blueprint then.\u00a0 It was a good idea to give it to Chazz though, it feels like the best choice for some reason.<\/p>\n

Orion: Oh, I agree with that I… Just don’t understand how he changed it though it’s going to take more time to be examined.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Well, I believe we have a little time at least to work on your projects beforehand.\u00a0 (As Spike has grabbed one of the bigger hammers to bring to Orion seeming to have done that before as Rocky rests at his feet.\u00a0 Echo being at Rowen’s feet watches Spike imitating by bring Rowen a much smaller hammer although she is more reluctant to let go of the hammer now that she has it).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He nods as he takes both hammers).\u00a0 Thanks a bunch you two and yeah I’ll get working on something I need to do real quick since someone wanted a quick fix for a piece of armor they had.\u00a0 While I’m working on this you guys are free to watch or go relax in the little park outside.\u00a0 I’ll be done shortly.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Stands up on her toes to see better).\u00a0 I can try to help.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: Well, I suppose we can have a seat and see more of the crafts the earth element has.<\/p>\n

Kura: Although it is a little small for all of us.\u00a0 We don’t want to distract his focus.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Grins).\u00a0 It’s not every day you see a grandmaster at work.\u00a0 Once Orion’s in the zone its quite hard to break his focus being a perfectionist.<\/p>\n

Rowen: Well since I have seen this many times already, I will take Echo outside to play and make sure she enjoys herself. (He signals for Echo to come along but she does not fully understand the signals at first but follows Rowen anyways staying where he is always in her sight).<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Laughs watching Echo).\u00a0 Have fun and try to think of one signal for her to learn specifically.\u00a0 Perhaps a whistle or something similar, they tend to work well.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks around the workshop still noticing clay for pottery as well noting all projects from metal work, to sculpting, and to pottery being impressed).\u00a0 You have a lot of variety here. (She cannot help but laugh seeing Silver try to snatch a small shiny metal chain again).<\/p>\n

Orion: Well, I have to if someone questions my ability, they have an example of what I have done but then again not many people question it nowadays.<\/p>\n

Shizen: I don’t think many would question the grandmaster that developed the crafts in their element.\u00a0 Much how none would question my knowledge of wildlife.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at the chunks of iron and steel beside Orion curiously).\u00a0 Is it like the human worlds blacksmithing?\u00a0 We watched some of Vorin’s work and it seemed like it was so easy for him to bend metal with just his hands.<\/p>\n

Kura: (Has a questioning look hearing Jennifer).\u00a0 Then perhaps tools and a hammer are not necessarily needed or at least needed to improve project?<\/p>\n

Orion: No, no it isn’t that they question it but more like see what I have done before which I’m always happy to show curious people and hmm in a way it isn’t needed but it can make things easier.\u00a0 I like the feeling of traditional blacksmithing while others just use the earth element itself to help with the crafting<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Still looks over the table at the anvil and giant hammer Orion has).\u00a0 It looks more fun to hit stuff with a hammer anyways.<\/p>\n

Orion: (He laughs as he shakes his head).\u00a0 Oh, how right that is true Sa… I mean Kairi.\u00a0 It is very fun to do that.<\/p>\n

Shizen: (Catches what Orion almost said moving to hand Orion one of the bigger hammers).\u00a0 Might as well get started then.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks from Orion to Kairi and the bracelet on Orion’s wrist with the duck pendant with a frown then quickly distracts her attention from it sitting by Chazz, Hiki and Tori).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He looks down as he begins to work on the iron looking armor he was given).<\/p>\n

\"\"Kura: (Covers her ears from the loud sound of clashing metal as Silver and Owlet become alert by the sound.\u00a0 Silver flaps her wings quickly with a caw hitting Tori in the head with her wings a few times as well as Chazz’s shoulder.\u00a0 Owlet perks up as well looking all around but ducked down on Hiki’s shoulder).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He stops the hammering).\u00a0 Oh yes, I forgot I have some earmuffs as well on the wall next to you, my apologies.\u00a0 (He scratches his head with a nervous laugh)<\/p>\n

Kura: (Sighs as she takes the earmuffs passing them to Hiki and Tori as well).\u00a0 Yes, thank you we were just taken off guard.<\/p>\n

Hiki: (As she rubs her ears hearing ringing kind of sound).\u00a0 Yes, that was too loud for me.<\/p>\n

Chazz: I expected the sound though not as loud, but it did seem like fun.<\/p>\n

Tori: (As he calms down silver with dark energy formed as ear plugs).\u00a0 That should help but I should give one to Owlet as well.\u00a0 (As he does the same to Owlet).<\/p>\n

Shizen: Ahh yes, the reason this city can be quite loud is because of this.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: It was loud but do not worry.<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Goes on her toes again to see the hammer and armor better).\u00a0 Is there a certain way you have to hit the metal?<\/p>\n

Orion: (As the three get ready for the loud noises about to happen).\u00a0 Hmm not really, you just must try and hit the areas of the metal that require touching up or just in the center to bend.<\/p>\n

Kairi: Oh, I see that makes sense so then you have to be careful when you hit it.<\/p>\n

Shizen: Yes, like with any profession it takes a large amount of focus at times.<\/p>\n

Orion: Oh, it is very focus heavy since many things can change in an instant if something isn’t done right.<\/p>\n

Jennifer: Oh, we will let you concentrate then while we are waiting for this person to show up then.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kairi: I am sure it is going to look amazing when you are done!<\/p>\n

Orion: (He smirks).\u00a0 Yes, I’ll do my best to show you the fun of blacksmithing.<\/p>\n

Chazz: (He smiles as Hiki lays on his shoulder with Owlet relaxing on a hanging piece of iron similar to a tree branch).<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (Looks at the armor Orion is working on with interest along with Kairi).<\/p>\n

Orion: (As the rest begin to just focus on Orion, he begins to work pulling the armor down onto a table that seems to be foldable so he can easily move it without touching the piece.\u00a0 He begins to hammer down on the armor and a sword\u00a0hoping to even out some of the dents it has gained from battles before).<\/p>\n

\"\"Kairi: (Watches with interest being amazed at how easily Orion can bend and smooth out the metal, not minding the loud sound of hammer as much).<\/p>\n

Orion: (The more he hammers the more it seems that the armor is shaping up to a decent state but he stops as he looks around for a specific hammer to finish up the job as he has a burning metal piece help make things smooth).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Looks around seeing Orion is looking for something and wanting to help she looks too.\u00a0 She sees a small hammer to the side where she is standing at and picks it up noticing it is not with his other tools.\u00a0 She lifts the hammer to offer to Orion who is looking through his other tools with a bright smile).\u00a0 Is this it?<\/p>\n

Orion: (He takes a second to notice Kairi as he finishes up the armor with another tool but then grabs the hammer from Kairi by habit).\u00a0 Thanks Sarah just what the armor needed for the finishing to-… Wait….\u00a0 (He drops the hammer on the table realizing what he had just said).<\/p>\n

Kairi: (Tilts her head to the side in confusion at Orion to the name).\u00a0 Sarah?<\/p>\n

Jennifer: (The room quickly quiets with her eyes widen at what just happened looking to Hiki with a small frown being unsure of what to do).<\/p>\n

Orion: (He shakes his head as he looks away from Kairi and heads outside).\u00a0 Excuse me.<\/p>\n
